An agent is a software element that, by making use of knowledge and inference, performs tasks on behalf of the user. In general, an agent has the properties of autonomy, social ability, reactivity, and durability. Many researches on agents are more and more aiming at the multiagent systems since it is not sufficient to let a single agent do the whole things, especially in a real world where tasks require many diverse activities. However, the multiagent frameworks still have some limitations in the processing of user queries that are often ambiguous and goal-oriented. Also, a series of procedures or plans could not be generated from a single query directly. In order to give more intelligence to the multiagent framework, we propose a method of extending the framework with a plan generation module. The open agent architecture (OAA), which is a multiagent framework that we developed, is integrated with UCPOP, which is a AI planner. A travel schedule management agent (TSMA) system is implemented to explore the effects of the method. The extended system enables the user to only specify goal-oriented queries, and the plans and procedures to satisfy these goals are generated automatically. Also, this system provides a cooperative and knowledge-sharing environment that integrates several knowledge-based systems and planning systems that are distributed and used independently.
In this research, hematite nanoparticles were synthesized by DC thermal plasma process to increase the overall surface area. The effect of binders on hematite electrodes was investigated by changing the type and composition of binders when preparing electrodes. Nitrogen gas was also added to the DC thermal plasma process in order to dope the hematite with N for enhancing photoelectrochemical properties of hematite nanoparticles. The efficiency of water splitting reaction was measured by linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) under solar simulator. In LSV measurements, the onset potential and maximum current density at a fixed voltage were measured. The durability of electrodes was checked by repeating LSV measurements. CMC (carboxymethyl cellulose) binder with 50 : 1 composition exhibits the highest current density of $12mA/cm^2$ and CMC binder with 20 : 1 composition, showing the initial current density of $3mA/cm^2$, endures 20 times of repetitive LSV measurements. Effects of nitrogen doping on hematite nanoparticles were proven to be insignificant.
Processing is generally employed to alter the physical and chemical properties of feeds used in pig diets, using hammer/roller mills, pellet mills and extruders/expanders. The reported optimum particle sizes of corn are approximately $500{\mu}m$, $500-700{\mu}m$, $400-600{\mu}m$, for nursery, growing-finishing, and breeder pigs respectively. Optimum particle size of grains are affected by diet complexity. There was a trend towards reducing particle size in order to increase ADG in pigs fed a simple diet, though such was not the case for pigs fed a complex diet. Uniformity of particle size also affects the nutritional values of swine feeds. Uniform particle sizes would consistently give greater nutrient digestibilities. In terms of pellet quality, it is reported that a higher incidence of fmes in pelleted feeds has a direct correlation with poorer feed conversion ratio in pigs. Particle and pellet sizes are also very important for pelleting in terms of grinding, digestibility, stomach ulceration and pellet durability. A particle size of $600{\mu}m$, or slightly less, seemed optimal for com in fmishing pigs, and the 5/32 in. diameter pellets supported the best efficiencies of gain during nursery and finishing phases. Extruder and/or expander processes would allow the feed industry an increased flexibility to utilize a wider spectrum of feed ingredients, and improve pellet quality of finished feeds. It would appear that extruded or expanded diets containing highly digestible ingredients have little effect on the growth performance of pigs, and the feeding values of the feeds over pelleted diets were not improved as pigs grew. The extruder or expander is much more effective than a pelletizer in salmonella control. Gastric ulcerations and/or keratinizations were consistently reported in pigs fed mash and processed diets containing finely ground grains, whereas carcass quality was not affected by diet processing methods such as pelleting, extruding or expanding. In corn- or sorghum-based diets, the electrical energy consumption is 4-5 times higher in the expanding than in the pelleting process. But the expander's processing cost was half of that shown by an extruder. Finally, the decision of which feed processing technology to adopt would depend on the processing cost, and any potential improvement in growth performance and digestibilities of nutrients should offset the increased operating and capital costs related to the extruder/expander technology over mash or pelleting processes in pigs.

Recently, many efforts related to the utilization of industrial by-products have been made to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the construction industry. Of these various efforts, concrete incorporating ground granulated blast furnace slag (BFS) provides many advantages compared to conventional concrete, such as high long-term compressive strength, improved durability and economic benefits because of its latent hydraulic property, and low compressive strength at early curing age. This paper investigates the compressive strength of high-activated ground granulated blast furnace slag blended mortar with slag by-product S type(SBP-S). The results of the experiment revealed that incorporating high-activated ground granulated blast furnace slag would affect the compressive strength of mortar. It was found that increasing the Blaine fineness and replacement ratio of slag by-product S type shows high compressive strength of mortar at early curing age because of its high $SiO_2$ and CaO contents in the slag. It is confirmed that an increase of curing age does not affect the compressive strength of mortar made with slag by-product S type at a high curing temperature. Moreover, it is possible to develop and design concrete manufactured with high-activated ground granulated blast furnace slag as binder considering the acceleration curing conditions and mix proportions.

A hydrophilic coating solution was prepared by adding a silane coupling agent and a nano-inorganic oxide in aqueous surfactant solution to increase the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation due to the introduction of antifogging and antifouling properties on the glass surface of the solar cell module. Addition of $Ludox^{(R)}$, a nano-inorganic oxide, to 1% hydrophilic coating solution showed improved hydrophilicity and excellent antifogging effect regardless of $Ludox^{(R)}$ concentration. However, the antifouling effect on the glass surface was showed only when Ludox was added more than 10%. In the case of addition of 0.7% of hydrolyzed TEOS at pH 4, the antifogging effect was maintained as a result of the steam test as well as the antifouling effect even after the coated glass surface was rubbed 100 times with a wet Kimwipe. In addition, from the surface roughness ($R_q$) calculated using AFM data, the higher surface roughness with irregular surface shape was obtained with the higher concentration of TEOS. The addition of 0.7% of TEOS showed relatively high surface roughness and well organized surface condition which can help to improve transmittance of light. In conclusion, $Ludox^{(R)}$ is not required only for the antifogging property. However, at least 10% of Ludox should be added to show antifouling effect and 0.7% of TEOS should be added for good durability.

The purpose of this study was to determine the electrochemical properties develop DSA electrode for sewage sludge solubilization. Using Ir as a main catalyst, the catalyst selected for the sewage sludge solubilization durability and proceeds to functional electrode suitable for sewage sludge electrolysis experiment were obtained the following results. Less mass reduction of the sintering temperature of the main catalyst, Ir coated electrodes, the endothermic reaction zone $300^{\circ}C$ to $500^{\circ}C$, which was selected from a range of experiments. The efficiency of the catalyst results came up to $350^{\circ}C$ best. Each Binder stars (Ta, Sn, W) in this experiment was the biggest catalyst efficiency at $350^{\circ}C$. Used as a binder, $TaCl_5$, $SnCl_4$, $WCl_6$ of the Ta and without affecting the other characteristics of the main catalyst than Sn, W. For the 50% $IrO_2$ electrode is 1.4 V (vs. Ag / AgCl) in a current of about $29mA/cm^2$ was caused to evaluate the effectiveness of the electrode.
In general, polymer concrete has more excellent mechanical properties and durability than Portland cement concrete, but very sensitive to heat and has large deformations. In this study, the long-term creep behaviors was predicted by the short-term creep test, and then the characteristic of creep of recycled-PET polymer concrete was defined by material and experimental variables. The error in the predicted long-term creep values is less than 5 percent for all polymer concrete systems. The filler carry out an important role to restrict the creep strains of recycled PET Polymer concrete. The creep strain and specific on using the $CaCO_3$ were less than using fly-ash. The creep increases with an increase in the applied stress, but not proportional the rate of stress increase ratio. The creep behavior of polymer concrete using recycled polyester resin is not a linear viscoelastic behavior.
This paper discusses a series of experiments including material improvement in order to ensure quality of grouting for the post-tensioned structure. In prestressed concrete, grouting refers to the construction procedure of filling empty space of duct enclosing with strands using cementitious material, To date, adequate quality control of the grouting has not been established in Korea because the relationship between the grouting and durability of post-tensioned structure is not well-recognized. The Korean standard does not consider the important material characteristic, wick effect, which is caused by strands in the ducts and current standard testing method unlikely quantify reasonable material segregation. As a result, the grout material, which meets the current material standards, may exhibit excessive bleeding water or shrinkage during construction. In this study, international codes and standards related to grouting were surveyed. The ratio of constituents and novel admixtures were suggested to meet equivalently with these standards. Performance of this enhanced grout was compared to common domestic grout using the international standard testing method. A series of mock-up specimens considering geometry of PC beam was constructed and grout flow pattern was observed as the grout was injected. It was observed that the grouting performance was highly influenced by material properties and filling characteristic can be varied depending on geometry of ducts.
We conducted research to develop a solidification agent for the ground surface reinforcement method in which activator is fused by recycling pig iron slag, which is a byproduct generated in the steel making process. The purpose of this research is to solve the problems of surface soil by improving the strength and durability of foundation soil such as soil loss, settlement, sinkhole, etc. by recycling pig iron slag from disused or landfilled steelworks. For this purpose, the possibility of using pig iron slag as a solidification soil was evaluated by the compressive strength, elution test of harmful materials, permeability coefficient test. As a result of the compressive strength test, the values of the strength of the curing 28 days of the solidified soil having the solidification agent mixing ratio of 12% were found to be 0.93, 0.96 and 1.3 MPa, respectively, satisfying the required strength value of 1 MPa, In the case of permeability coefficients, the minimum values were $4.1{\times}10^{-8}$, $7.0{\times}10^{-7}$, and $1.7{\times}10^{-7}cm/sec$, respectively, at the solidification agent mixing rate of 12%. In addition, as a result of the elution test of harmful materials, a small amount was detected in the item of hexavalent chromium but satisfied the inclusion criteria, and in the remaining items, heavy metals were not eluted.

With the increased demand for membrane structures in recent years, there have been many studies of their mechanical properties, to the extent that such structures have become recognized as independent structures with a level of safety and durability comparable to those of other general structures. But in reality, the study for the maintenance of membrane structures has not been as active. In particularly, the study of watertightness from the perspective of maintenance has been very limited. Accordingly, a study on securing watertightness performance and the guidelines for maintenance is necessary. In this study, through a case study of water leakage accidents in membrane structures overseas, causes of leakage were selected from the membrane material itself, joint parts and open door of roof part in membrane structure. The water leakage and deterioration elements were analyzed from those leakage causes. The degree of importance of the water leakage and deterioration index was also designated using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. As a result, the basic technical index was suggested for the maintenance of the roofs of large-span membrane structures to prevent water leakage. This index will be used to make a guideline for the long-term maintenance of the roofs of large-span membrane structures.
