We studied the heating characteristics of a whirling spindle. This spindle is an important component of a whirling machine for turning a ball screw shaft. In the manufacturing process for a conventional ball screw shaft, a single tool is used to form a spiral in a lathe machine tool. Thereafter, a high-frequency heat treatment process is performed. Recently, a whirling-type cutting method has emerged. This method can perform hard turning in the rotating direction of the spiral portion of the ball screw shaft by rotating and mounting multiple tools. The whirling method can be applied to the heat-treated material. In this study, an experimental apparatus was constructed to analyze the whirling spindle. The experiment proceeded in four steps. The rotating speed of the whirling spindle was set to ISO random and sequential rising conditions. Cooling and non-cooling modes in the cooling jacket were tested. As a result of the above experiment, the heating characteristics of the whirling spindle were derived.

Diseases were surveyed in 5 Rice paddy field areas of Organic paddy field and conventional paddy field. The 3 major diseases, rice leaf blast, bacterial leaf blight and sheath blight in rice were surveyed at duck raising, rice bran and conventional rice paddy field. They were serious in duck raising paddy field, rice bran paddy field more than conventional paddy field. The Ilpum variety were infected seriously more than Chucheong. At the effectivity test of the environment-friendly substance for the rice-seed sterilization, 1000-times diluted brown-rice vinegar showed controlling effect against Bakanae disease, and germination rate also was good. There was no Weeds Control efficacy by cultivating of hairy vetch in rice paddy field. However, extract of hairy vetch Leaf and root repressed the germinating of lettuce seed.

By use of the oceanographic data from 1932 to 1941 and from 1960 to 1967, the general properties of the cold water in the Korea Strait are discussed. This water characterized with temperatures 3-10$^{\circ}C$ and salinities 34.0-34.4 originates from the Japan Sea and begins to flow out in summer along the bottom about 8 to 18 miles southeast of Ulgi in Ulsan. It usually reaches the Pusan- Tsushima section and rarely to the west of the southernmost part of Tsushima. As it flows out, it shows rising trend along the coast of Korea and sometimes upwelling occurs in the vicinity of Ulsan. It seems that the cold water forms an under current along the bottom in summer and autumn in the western channel of the Korea Strait.

An amenity requirement of the passenger using public traffic is rising continuously, and also The Ministry of Environment established "Indoor air quality management guidelines in public facilities(Dec. 2006)". To satisfy such requirement, the photoplasma device to decrease VOCs(Volatile Organic Compounds) and suspended bacillus is applied to the underframe mounted HVAC(Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning) system for train. Air purifying method of photoplasma device is optical and chemical reaction that UV-light(wavelength less than 280nm) react with catalyst material(TiO2). To analyze the efficiency of photoplasma in this study, we measured the requirement time for toluene to decease down to 0.3ppm after contaminating the passenger cabin for train to toluene 1ppm.

In the race for establishing trading architecture consistent with new landscape of the global economy, the US is ahead of the game by concluding the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement with 11 countries. To make it reality, the ratification is essential. In the battle for ratification in the US, declining globalism confronts rising protectionism. This paper models the ratification process as contest between globalism and protectionism, and analyzes the optimal timing for ratification. Based on this framework, various ratification scenarios are analyzed. The paper argues less likelihood for the lame-duck session passage and more likelihood for prolonged and protracted delay, due to changing political dynamics and declining intellectual support for globalism. Hence, the future of Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement may prove different, compared to the North American Free Trade Agreement and the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement, both of which were renegotiated and ratified eventually. Then, the US would lose the first move advantage. The paper also discusses strategic implications of delayed ratification on the evolution of trading architecture in East Asia.

We are going to design the Square Pulse Generator use of PCPS (Photo-Conductive Power Switch) for Blumlein lain. The circeuit is made of LC device and it is simulated by Schematics Evaluation Version 8.0 of MicroSim. After charged by DC voltage 15[kV]. When the switch is ON, Square pulse is generated after pause time 1.7857[${\mu}s$]. The square pulse is maximum peak voltage 13.987[kV], pulsed width 3.4017[${\mu}s$], rising time 0.7474[${\mu}s$], falling time 1.1718[${\mu}s$].

Because buildings which apply color that is various to concrete recently are introduced, value as design element of building is rising gradually in townscape. Even if expense is increased according as importance of concrete that have variety of design because do such social background and connection is emphasized, development of color concrete is pressing. Therefore, in this research, examined concrete physical & chemical characteristics by use of acid agent as part of research to embody diverse surface color of cement material. Here, embodiment of various color by unique color that stained hydrate has as that Color Concrete forms stained oxide that react with hydrate within concrete spreading stained agent that contain acid and metallic-ion in matrix that have cement ingredient on the surface is available.

We generally get the Heat Release Rate by two other method. One is the calculation method from the Oxygen consumption rate and another is the calibration curve method of Temperature rising rate. In this study we compare the results of both test methods with five same specimens. From the test result we get the difference of reproducibility and checked some reasons of the difference. This paper includes some points to be careful for more creditable results for each test method.

Recently, the crisis of demographic extinction is rising in Korea more than any other country, and it is difficult for industrial sites to maintain without 'foreign workers'. Industrial accidents and accident deaths of foreign workers account for 7.6% and 12.3% of the total, through an in-depth analysis of fatal accidents in the manufacturing industry, differences and similarities between fatal accidents of foreign workers and all fatal accidents were confirmed in terms of occurrence type, workplace size, length of service, employment type, etc. In this study, customized countermeasures were found.

Background: South Korea is rapidly being an aging-society and the demand of long-term care insurance services for elderly patients is rising. In addition, because the elderly taking multiple medicines, the adherence is lowered and the adverse events are easily occurred. Therefore, many are interested in introducing the geriatric pharmacy specialist to manage this situation. Purpose: By applying a similar program such as the geriatric pharmacy specialist working in nursing home, we conducted this study to evaluate the potential contribution to both the health insurance services and financial savings for the elderly patients. Methods: We conducted a trial in an elderly nursing home to collaborate between doctor and pharmacist making a checklist for improving medication adherence and establish a consultation system. Also we applied a smart phone application in the pharmaceutical care processes. Results: Thereby completing the drug therapy related checklist apply to nursing facilities in South Korea. And we got a performance that improves medication adherence when used in the clinical practice settings. Conclusion: By introducing a training program of pharmacy care managers and geriatric professionals such as the United States and Japan, we revealed the elderly nursing home residents and vulnerable elderly people living alone were improved the medication adherence and it will contributed to the health and quality of life of the patients.
