We report the design, fabrication of a $Si_3N_4$ probe and calculation of its mechanical properties for DPN(dip pen nanolithography), which consists of dual tips. Concept of dual tip probe is to employ individual tips on probe as either an AFM tip for imaging or a writing tip for nano patterning. For this, the dual tip probe is fabricated using low residual stress $Si_3N_4$ material with LPCVD deposition and MEMS fabrication process. On the basis of FEM analysis we show that the functionality of dual tip probe for imaging is dependent on the dimensions of dual tip probe, and high ratio of widths of beam areas is preferred to minimize curvature variation on probe.

We show that if M is a Utumi module, in particular if M is quasi-continuous, then M = Q ⊕ K, where Q is quasi-injective that is both a square-full as well as a dual-square-full module, K is a square-free module, and Q & K are orthogonal. Dually, we also show that if M is a dual-Utumi module whose local summands are summands, in particular if M is quasi-discrete, then M = P ⊕ K where P is quasi-projective that is both a square-full as well as a dual-square-full module, K is a dual-square-free module, and P & K are factor-orthogonal.

We derived Stop-and-go normalized DD, dual-mode normalized Sato, dual-mode NCMA blind equalization algorithm for complex data in this research. And then, the convergence characteristics of the proposed SG-NDD, dual-mode NSato blind equalization algorithms are compared with those of SG-DD, dual-mode Sato algorithms. In general, the normalized blind equalization algorithms have better convergence characteristics than the conventional algorithms.

We give representations of differential operators and rules for addition and multiplication of dual quaternions. Also, we research the notions and properties of a regular function and a corresponding harmonic function with values in dual quaternions of Clifford analysis.

The purpose of this paper is to develope efficient techniques for implementing the dual simplex method. In this paper we proposed one artificial row technique to get an initial dual feasible basic solution, a dual steepest-edge method coupled with a dropping row selection rule, and an anti-degeneracy technique which resembles the EXPAND procedure for the primal simplex method. The efficiency of the above techniques is shown by experiments. Finally, the dual simplex method is shown to be superior to the primal simplex method when it is used in the integer programming.

We discuss dual algebras generated by a contraction and properties $({\mathbb}A_{m,n})$ which arise in the study of the problem of solving systems of the predual of a dual algebra. In particular, we study membership for the class ${\mathbb}A_1,{{\aleph}_0 }$. As some examples we consider dual algebras generated by a Jordan block.

In [1], Alo and Deeba introduced the uniformity of a BCK-algebra by using ideals. Meng [5] introduced the concept of dual ideals in BCK-algebras. We note that the concept of dual ideals is not a dual concept of ideals. In this paper, by using dual ideals, we consider the uniformity of a BCK-algebra.

최근 LNG 연료 시장의 호황에 힘입어 LNG선들이 점차 대형화 추세에 있고, LNG선의 추진 기판 또한 경제성, 환경 영향 등의 주어진 요구 환경에 따라 다양화 되고 있다. 기존의 Steam Turbine Propulsion 외에 Conventional 2-stroke Diesel Engine 및 Dual-fuel 4-stroke Diesel Engine 이 LNG선의 주 기관으로 각광받고 있다. 이에 따라 Dual fuel electric propulsion LNGC의 기본 개념, 작동 원리 주요 보조 기기, 타 추진 시스템과의 비교 능에 대해 고찰하였다.

In this paper, a reliable control system structured with dual CPU modules and dual I/O modules is implemented as a means of achieving a highly reliable fault tolerant control system. For this, faults in the system modules are first examined, and a fault detection technique consisting of self diagnostic, comparison process, and exception processing is applied. Also reliability analysis is conducted for the discrete time Markov model with dual structure. It is shown quantitatively that the reliability is improved in the control system with dual structure in comparison with a system with single module structure.

In this paper, we prove that for all odd prime powers $q$ there exist MDS(maximum distance separable) self-dual codes over $\mathbb{F}_{q^2}$ for all even lengths up to $q+1$. Additionally, we prove that there exist MDS self-dual codes of length four over $\mathbb{F}_q$ for all $q$ > 2, $q{\neq}5$.
