Experiments were carried out to investigate the lipid peroxidation (LPO), superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and histopathological change of hepatic tissue for rockfish, Sebastes schlegeli after feeding sub-chronic dietary Benzo(a)pyrene (BaP) in the concentration of 0 (control), 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 mg $kg^{-1}$ dry food of diet for 30 days. In 2.0 mg $kg^{-1}$ dry food group, the significant increase of LPO was observed in all period, and SOD activity was incresed at 30 days significantly in the same concentration. In the histological investigation of liver, there was the swelling of hepatic cells at 10 days over the 1.0 mg $kg^{-1}$ dry food concentration. At 30 days Periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) positive granule was observed in the same group and at 20 days was observed in 2.0 mg $kg^{-1}$ dry food group. And there was necrosis of hepatic cell in some fish of 2.0 mg $kg^{-1}$ dry food group at 30 days.
Background: Gelada baboon is one of the endemic mammals of Ethiopia residing in different highlands. The population structure and habitat use of gelada baboon in Wof-Washa particularly Gosh Meda area was investigated from September 2016 to August 2017. Total counting method was used to collect data on the population status by dividing the study area in to four blocks, namely, Kundi, Arbgebeya, Goshber, and Goshmeda. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. The age-sex category and the numbers of geladas found within the different blocks were analyzed using one-way ANOVA, and paired t test was also used to analyze the pair wise comparison of the different age and sex categories during both dry and wet seasons. Results: A total of 435 and 471 gelada baboons were counted during the wet and dry seasons, respectively. The maximum group size consisted of 178 individuals whereas the minimum group size contained 53 individuals. Out of the total population adult females accounted for 54.7% in the wet and 54.56% in the dry seasons. There was a significant difference among the age-sex categories in both the wet ($F_{2432}=630$, P < 0.05) and dry ($F_{2468}=696.6$, P < 0.05) seasons. The male to female ratio was 1:5.7 during wet season and 1:5.8 during dry season. So that the population will have a better chance to increase in the study area. Conclusion: Wof-Washa Forest could be a good site for eco-tourism activities due to the presence of endemic animals and its scenic beauty. However, the quality of the habitat is decreasing due to livestock grazing, agricultural expansion, and invasion of exotic plants species. Therefore, appropriate conservation measures should be implemented to conserve gelada baboon in particular and other wildlife resources in general.

The physicochemical properties of black rice flours produced from dry and wet milling were carried out to investigate their applications in food processing industry. The dry milled black rice flours showed lower fat, protein, ash, and anthocyanin contents than those of wet milled black rice flours with no effect due to number of millings. Average particle sizes ($379{\sim}288\;{\mu}m$) of dry milled flours were bigger than those ($336{\sim}253\;{\mu}m$) of wet milled flours. Particles with 60 mesh or more increased with increasing milling times. Wet milled flours had higher damaged starch, water solubility index (WSI), and water absorption index (WAI) compared to dry milled flours. Pasting properties measured by rapid visco analyzer (RVA) resulted in higher pasting temperatures in dry milled flours ($62.5{\sim}69.4^{\circ}C$) than wet milled flours ($46.1{\sim}46.4^{\circ}C$). As the number of milling times increased, pasting temperature of wet milled flours were not effected. Dry and wet milling resulted in reduced trough, final viscosity, and consistency with increasing milling times.

Pasture composition, an important attribute determining sward condition and value, is normally assessed by hand separation, drying and measuring weight contribution of each species in the mixture. This is a tedious, time and labour consuming procedure. NIRS has demonstrated the potential for predicting botanical composition of swards, but most of the work has been carried out on dry samples. The aim of this work was to evaluate the feasibility of developing NIR models for predicting the white clover and ryegrass content in fresh or dry mixtures artificially prepared from pure samples of both species. Mixtures from pure stands of white clover(Trifolium repens) and perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne) were prepared with different proportions (0 to 100%) of each species (fresh weight). A total of 55 samples were made (11 mixtures,5 cuts). Spectra (400 to 2500 nm) were taken from fresh chopped (rectangular cuvettes, transport sample module) samples, in a NIR Systems 6500 scanning monochromator controlled by the software NIRS 3 (Infrasoft International), which was also utilized for calibration development. Different math treatments (derivative order, subtraction gap and smooth segment) and a scatter correction treatment of the spectra (SNV and Detrend) were tested. Equations were developed by modified partial least squares. Prediction accuracy evaluated by cross-validation, showed that percentage of clover or ryegrass, as contribution in dry weight, can be successfully percentage of clover or ryegrass, as contribution in dry weight, can be successfully predicted either on fresh or dried samples, with equations developed by different math treatments. Best equations for fresh samples were developed including a first, second, or third derivative, whereas for dry samples best equations included a second or third derivative. Standard errors of ross validation were about 6% for fresh and 3.6% for dry samples, Coefficient of determination of cross validation (1-VR) were over 0.95 times the value of SECV for fresh samples and over 8 times the value of SECV for dry samples. Scatter correction (SNV and Detrend) in general improved prediction accuracy. It is concluded more precise on dried and ground samples, it can be used with an acceptable error level and less time and labour, on fresh samples.
Objectives : This study was performed to evaluate the effect of dry cupping treatment applied to back-shu points on the autonomic nervous system. Methods : Two groups of sympathicotonia and normal with each 30 volunteers were set up for this experiment. The sympathicotonia group was selected by the criterion for sympathicotonia by the questionnaire composed of 11 items. After 10 minutes for environmental adaptation, the first HRV(heart rate variability) test was conducted, and then, dry cupping therapy was applied to back-shu points for 5 minutes to stimulate sympathetic ganglia lying along the spine. The second HRV test was carried out just after the cupping therapy under the same condition and then, the third test was repeated after two hours based on the first test time. Results : 1. In sympathicotonia group, SDNN(standard deviation of all normal R-R intervals), RMSSD(the square root of the mean of the sum of the squares of differences between adjacent normal R-R intervals), Ln(HF)(high frequency power), nmHF(normalized high frequency power) increased and mHR(mean heart rate), nmLF(normalized low frequency power) decreased significantly right after dry cupping therapy which means dry cupping affects on autonomic nervous system. The effect lasts in these items of nmLF, Ln(HF), nmHF, rLHF(rate ratio of LF/HF). 2. In normal group, SDNN, RMSSD increased and mHR decreased significantly right after dry cupping therapy, too. But, Ln(LF)(low frequency power), nmLF, rLHF unexpectedly increased and nmLF, rLHF stay increased up to 2 hours. Conclusions : The results suggest that the dry cupping therapy has effect on the autonomic nervous system. It is effective to stabilize hyper-sympathetic tone of people diagnosed as Sympathicotonia and activate parasympathetic tone.

It is important to study how to manage dry storage casks of spent nuclear fuels (SNF), because wet storage spaces for SNF will shortly be at full capacity in the Republic of Korea. The US has operated a dry storage cask system for several decades, and has carried out significant studies into how to successfully manage dry storage cask for SNF. This type of expertise and experience is currently lacking in the Republic of Korea. The degradation of dry casks is an important issue that must be considered. In particular, chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking (CISCC) is known to lead to the release of radioisotopes from canisters. The U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and the Electric Power Research Institute have undertaken research into the CISCC mechanism. In addition, Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) has extensively researched CISCC and how to manage it in dry storage canisters. In this review paper, the probabilistic model proposed by the SNL is analyzed and, based on this model, US-based CISCC research is reviewed in detail. This paper will inform the management of dry cask storage of SNF from light water reactors in austenite stainless steel canisters in the Republic of Korea.

This study was carried out to find out the effect of seed date and rate on the agronomic characteristics and yield of forage barley in paddy field of Suwon, from 2001 to 2003. The main plots were consisted of different seeding dates such as 5th and 20th October and 5th November. The subplots were consisted of different seeding rates of barley such as 160, 190 and 220 kg/ha. Plant height was increased at the early seeding. Dry matter(DM) percentage of barley was decreased as the seeding date was delayed. Dry matter percentages of 5th and 20th October and 5th November were 47.4, 41.5 and 34.5%, respectively. Fresh matter yield of barley decreased from 30,092 to 16,018 kg/ha as the seeding date was delayed. And fresh matter yield of barley was significantly increased with the increase in the seeding rate. Dry matter yield of barley decreased from 14,230 to 5,521 kg/ha as the seeding date was delayed. And dry matter yield of barley was significantly increased with increase in the seeding rate(p<0.05). The results obtained from this study indicate that both the seeding date of 20th October and seeding rate of 220 kg/ha would be recommendable for forage yield of barley in paddy field.
This study was carried out to investigate the actual environmental paddy storage conditions in conventional Korean farm warehouses. The paddy storage conditions by the locations and sizes of warehouses were figured out. The effectiveness of the small insulated box for storing paddy was also examined. Observations were made at sixteen different warehouses located in Moonsan-Myeon, Jinyandg-gun, Gyungnam Province from July lst to September 28 th, the period which was considered to be the worst for storing grains. The results are as follows ; 1. the average temperatures of rough rice and air inside the warehouse were 0.9 and 0.7$^\circ$ higher than the outside air temperature. 2. The average relative humidity in warehouses was 1.5percent higher than that of the atomosphere. This fact resulted in the increased moisture content of grains. Therefore, the ventilation for equalizing the relative humidity of inside and outside of warehouses was required. 3. The dry matter of stored rough rice was decreased by 1.1 percent in average druing the observation period. In order to reduce the dry matter loss, application of new grain storing method ;hermetic storage or filling inert gas storage, was highly recommended. 4. Environmental conditions for storing rough rice in a warehouse located in a sloping site are, in general , better than those of a warehouse located in a flat site. But as far as the dry matter of rough rice was concerned, above situation is not always satisfactory. Because it is fairly frequent to observe the higher rate of moisture absorption by grains stored in a warehouse located in a sloping site. 5. Environmental conditions for storing rough rice in a large-scale warehouse were better than those in a small size warehouse. Therefore, it is advisible for farmers to store their grins in the large-scale warehouses commonly used by villagers. 6. It was undesirable to store rough in a insulated box.
Purpose: Currently advanced in Dental CAD/CAM technology increase a use of Co-Cr sinter metal block at Dental CAD/CAM part traditionally it has been being used with metal casting method. There is an advantage that can leave out a step of investment and casting as well as reducing a working time to compare with conventional casting method in a dry milling. Methods: In this research, compare a deformation of before and after sinter result of Co-Cr sinter metal block. Design a specimen figure by 3D CAD software and transformed it to a STL file can be used at Dental CAD/CAM. With a transformed STL file, milled a Co-Cr sinter metal specimen by using a Dental CAD/CAM dry milling machine. It arrived at the following conclusions after measuring an outer form and thickness of a machined specimen and then after sinter measure it again in a way of before sinter measurement method. Results: It is confirmed that there is no error while a 3D design figure specimen is transformed to a Dental CAD data. It is observed that there is no error at Co-Cr sinter metal specimen which consider a length of single coping and bridge. Conclusion: It is observed that there is no deformation at a specimen of AS05 and AB05 are made of 0,5mm thickness. On the other hand, the out of range of deformation is observed at a specimen of AS10 and AB10 which are made of 1mm thickness.
The wastewater resulted from the process of developing and fuing for x-ray film manufachlring contains a lot of silvercomponent. The average concentation of silver-component is about 1,500 mgA. The wastewater contained silver-component is toxic when it is discharged to the natural ecosystem. So that we must to do pretreatment of wastewater prior to discharge. There are electrolysis. chemical precipitation, and metallic replacement as conventional lreabent proccss of fixer wastewater of x-ray film. Adsorption of silver-component in x-ray fkcr wastewater was carricd out this study. 'Ille manganese dioxide (MDO) reagent and the recovered manganese dioxide (RMDO) from the waste dry-cell were used for adsarbents. Adsorption of silvercomponent was wrried out at the batch and continuous type experimental equipment. The adsorption experiment results were obtained bom silver-component have some diifcrences according to adsorhents. The adsorption results of manganese dioxide reagent (MDO) were better ihan those of waste dry-ccU (RMDO), but the manganese dloxide recovered fmm waste dry-cell (RMDO) will be able la recognized as good adsorbent too.
