  • Power Supply System for electric railways is diversified with technical development and is required high technologies. especially, recently there is required many research and development for earthing to ensure safety of people and protection of installations. Generally, leakage resistance is high between rail and ground at tunnel section of subway. because of short circuit of feeding line, earthing interference by transient overvoltage between signals and communication system, and insulation failure, it can damage to human and equipments To minimize these obstacles, earthing equipment is installed at underground section of railway, but it brings about problems in accordance with operate each earthing system to be not enough required protection provisions for electrified railways. This paper proposes effective earthing method to be concerned about installation cost and maintenance. The validity of the proposed earth method is verified by simulation results at underground section of railways.

Design of Object-based Information System Prototype

  • Researchers who use science and technology information were found to ask an information service in which they can excerpt the contents they needed, rather than using the information at article level. In this study, we micronized the contents of scholarly articles into text, image, and table and then constructed a micro-content DB to design a new information system prototype based on this micro-content. After designing the prototype, we performed usability test for this prototype so as to confirm the usefulness of the system prototype. We expect that the outcome of this study will fulfill the segmented and diversified information need of researchers.

  • Enormous stocks by the reduced life cycle of products caused by the technological innovation in later 20 century, development of new materials and diversified demands of customers appeared as the pressing element causing the trouble in management of companies, and when considering the logistic costs that are imposed to companies in terms of function, the costs related to the stock topped the list of costs, followed by the transportation ones, and for pallet pool system, inventory of stocks is very difficult by the number of companies. Reducing the logistic cost may be accomplished by numbers of logistic management methods, but the most fundamental and essential one is the accomplishment of the consistent pallet system that is the core of unit load system, and the purpose of consistent pallet system is the treatment of logistic functions such as transportation, storage and unloading with consistent pallet system, and increasing the turnover ratio is required for the improvement of the system. As the turnover ratios is increased, more pallets will be used so, numbers of empty pallets will be increased accordingly by returning the pallet. Therefore, in this study, we will establish the effective stock management system by comparing with the other existing stock management system after looking at the concept and examples of pallet full system in order to resolved this kind of problem.

Development of Nuclear Industry Information Gathering and Analysis System and Denied Persons Information Gathering System for Preventing Illegitimate Export of Trigger List Items in Korea

  • In South Korea, the exporters of items related to nuclear power generation are diversified. Consequently, there is a risk of illegitimate export by companies failing to recognize the export control system because the awareness about this system for the strategic items among the subcontractors of nuclear power facilities is limited. To prevent illegitimate export of the strategic items, it is necessary to conduct outreach activities regarding the export control system for the related companies. Additionally, the exporters and export license examiners should consider whether an export target is on the Denial List, who may divert the strategic items to weapons of mass destruction. Therefore, the Korea Institute of Nuclear Nonproliferation and Control developed two systems for controlling illegitimate export of the Trigger List items. The first system, Nuclear Industry Information Collection and Analysis System, can gather information about the key nuclear industries in Korea and analyze the dealing of strategic items. The second system, Denied Persons Information Gathering System, can regularly gather information about the denied persons and provide the updated data to the exporters and regulatory examiners. These two systems can be used for outreach activities and export license examination to prevent illegitimate export of the strategic items.

  • 본 연구에서는 담양 죽제품과 여주 도자기 산지를 사례로 재래공업 존립의 중요한 요소인 산지내 사회적 분업의 실태, 특성 그리고 의의를 밝히고자 하였다. 산지내 사회적 분 업은 주로 원자재조달과 제품생산, 제품생산과 제품판매간에 이루어지고 있으며, 생산공정상 의 사회적 분업 및 제품생산 부문과 그 관련시설, 기계제작 부문간의 사회전 분업은 부분적 으로 이루어지고 있다. 그 성격에 있어서는 담양 죽제품산지는 산지완결형의 그리고 여주 도자기 산지는 미산지완결형의 특성이 강하다. 그리고 사회적 분업체계를 구성하는 기업들 은 독자성을 가진 수평적 분업체계를 유지하고 있으나 수요변화에 적극적으로 대응하기 위 한 신제품의 개발과 판로개척을 선도할 수 있는 기업이 밭달하지 못하고 있다. 산지존립에 있어서의 사회적 분업의 의의로는 생산공정의 세분화와 업종분화를 통해서 노동력 부족을 극복함과 동시에 생산비를 절감할 수 있고 소자본의 신규참여를 용이하게 하고 경기변동에 따른 위험부담을 분산하며 다방면에 걸친 축적된 노-하우를 활용한 업종과 제품의 전환을 통하여 제품의 다양화와 제품수명주기가 연장된다는 점을 들 수 있다.

CIM 기반의 실시간 전압안정도 해석 시스템 구축 (CIM-Based System For Real-Time Voltage Stability Analysis)

  • There is a wide variety of system and applications in the power system. However, they have compatibility issues because they use different data standard and communication method. With the introduction of the smart grid, power system has been grow and diversified. Therefore power system need to be compatible with each other and the interoperability between applications is increasingly important. Thus, the IEC established IEC61970 and CIM Standard data exchange model for interoperability and system integration. Server-Client system was constructed which using CIM HSDA(Part4), a standard communication model, presented in IEC 619710. Also, self-developed real-time voltage stability analysis application and contingency analysis application was used. CIM HSDA was used for data input and real-time analysis. Tolerance of result which is in the range of allowable derived by Perform real-time voltage stability and contingency analysis of Jeju power system, and then compare it's result with PSS/E result.

  • Accounting information system is the most important and formal subsystem of the total information system of an organization which produces and delivers financial information. An organization has its own contigent characteristics. It is the key to a successful development of accounting information system to select the development mode and information characteristics appropriate for the contigent characteristics. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the contigent factors and the development mode of accounting information system. In addition, this study will examine the relationship between the contigent variables and the information characteristics of accounting information system. The research method adopted in this study is the survey. The results show that the environmental uncertainty, organization size, task diversity, task interrelatedness, and management commitment are positively related with the involvement and role of user in the system development process. The aggregate information regarding various departments tends to be produced by an organization under the uncertain environment. The information is reported periodically by a centralized organization. The aggregate information is preferred when tha task for implementation is diversified. The output information is more aggregate and provided more frequently when there exists a high interrelatioship between tasks. The output information is more external and reported more frequently in an organization with the high management commitment.

보건의료체계의 거버넌스 개혁 (Reform of Health System Governance in South Korea)

  • The objectives of this study were to evaluate the current state of governance structure and management of the health system to achieve the goals of the health system in South Korea, and to propose reform plan. This study drew implications from the governance of United Kingdom, Germany, and Netherlands, based on the principle of health system proposed by World Health Organization. The presidency and the health ministry should make macroscopic decision-making. The government has to decentralize the enforcement by municipality to operate public health and national health insurance (NHI), and to distribute the centralized NHI fund by municipality. The front line health centers and community centers should provide integrated health and social services. The government has to establish diversified regulatory bodies to enhance both the patient-centered care and the efficiency and equity of health care, and to provide mechanisms for ensuring autonomy of providers. The governance of the health system should be composed of the centralization of macro decision-making, the decentralization of implementation by municipality, the integration of health and social services on the front line, and the well-balanced regulation and autonomy on both consumers and suppliers.
