In this paper, we make some results on the direct limit of the locally nilpotent direct system. We study the ($T^{**}$) - properties of the above direct limit and homotopy equivalence of the direct limits.

Let X be a direct system of topological spaces and X its direct limit. We show that under certain conditions the direct limit of a "subsystem" of X embeds in a canonical way as a closed subspace of X.

The researches on the direct drive system, which directly transfers axle load of the traction motor to wheels, have been developed as a next generation drive system in Japan and Europe. As a result of excluding couplings and gear units, the direct drive system has advantages on the bogie mount space to be smaller sized, lower noisy, more efficient and less weighted than the conventional drive system - indirect drive system. Since the simplification of the direct drive system design depends on the design of the traction motors, the researches on the direct drive system with focusing on the traction motors get started. The advantages/disadvantages of direct drive system, types, structures, cooling systems and interfaces of the traction motors are presented on this paper. Furthermore, the development of other countries on the electric equipments of the next generation railway vehicles are discussed and the necessity ＆ requirement for developing new concepts of traction motors are assured.

Performance of the water/air direct contact air conditioning system, in which heat and mass are directly transferred between air and water droplet, is simulated using semi-empirical method. Direct contact system improves transport efficiency compared to conventional indirect contact system. In this study, correlations for h$_{c}$A / c$_{pm}$ which represent the capacity of direct contact system are derived as a function of air and water flowrate from the experimental data. Cooling and heating performance of the water/air direct contact air conditioning system are evaluated using these correlations.ons.

본 논문에서는 DirectShow 프로그래밍의 주요 개발 도구인 그래프 에디터에서 작성된 필터 연결 그래프로부터 C 소스 코드를 자동 생성하는 시스템에 대한 설명한다. 기존의 DirectShow 프로그래밍 환경에서는 그래프 에디터를 이용한 프로그램 설계 및 실행 확인 작업과 실제 프로그램 코드를 작성하는 프로그램 개발 작업이 별도로 이루어진다. 이에 반해, 본 시스템을 사용할 경우, 멀티미디어 응용 프로그램 개발자는 소스 코드를 직접 일일이 수정할 필요 없이, 그래프 에디터를 이용하여 필터 삽입 및 필터 연결을 통한 프로그램 설계 작업을 수행한 다음, GRF 파일로 저장하기만 하면, 원하는 C 소스 프로그램을 자동적으로 얻을 수 있기 때문에 보다 효과적이고 훨씬 신속한 DirectShow 프로그래밍이 가능하다. 더욱이 본 시스템은, 고정된 개수의 매우 제한된 미디어 제어 기능만을 소스 코드에 추가할 수 있는 기존의 시스템과는 달리, 시스템 사용자인 프로그램 개발자로 하여금 자신이 개발하고자 하는 응용 프로그램에 추가할 미디어 제어 기능을 보다 쉽고 다양하게 선택할 수 있도록 지원하기 때문에 보다 실용적인 도구로 활용될 수 있다.

Although manufacturing cost is a major part of profit in a company, it is difficult to be calculated by an analytic method. Besides, the manufacturing cost gained by simple financial structure dose not have an important meaning in market place. Therefore, an analytic method of computing the manufacturing cost is very necessary in manufacturing system. In this study, we suggested the direct cost analysis model which are able to measure accurate cost analysis of product in manufacturing system. The direct cost analysis model is made up of directly used expenditure for unit product. Also, system performances are put in the manufacturing cost analysis model so that it could be possible to analyze the change of manufacturing cost as system performances change. At the end of this paper, it verifies its relevancy and practicality of the suggested direct cost analysis model through the case study, using real data for direct labor cost.

최근 들어 인터넷 사용자가 주체가 되어 생산하고 공유하는 UCC(User Created Contents)의 발달로 컨텐츠 제작 분야에서의 가장 중요한 이슈는 동영상을 쉽고 편리하게 편집하고 재생하는 시스템의 개발이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 마이크로소프트사에서 COM Component로 지원하고 있는 Direct X에 포함된 동영상 편집 기술인 Direct Show를 이용하여 UCC제작 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 연구에서 새롭게 제안한 시스템은 Direct Show 기반의 변환필터 삽입 방식으로 사용자가 각종의 영상효과를 손쉽고 편리하게 UCC에 삽입할 수 있음은 물론, 기존의 프레임 단위 방식과는 달리 동영상 재생중에 각종의 영상효과를 삽입할 수 있다는 특징을 갖고 있다. 실험을 통하여 본 연구에서 개발한 필터를 사용하여 동영상의 재생과정에서 각종의 영상효과를 삽입할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템은 UCC 및 광고영상 제작 등에 널리 응용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

The main purpose of this study is to compare the traditional cost system and ABC(Activity Based Cost) system of clinical laboratory department in a hospital. The study subject was 296 services in clinical laboratory from March, 1997 to August, 1997. In a new costing system, cost for a lab test consist of direct cost element, activity based cost element, and allocated common cost element. In a traditional cost system, cost elements included direct cost element and indirect cost allocated based on test volumes The major findings of this research were as follows. 1. In the application of ABC system, total cost was analyzed as follows. Direct cost was 39.3% of total cost. Activity cost and allocation were 20.9% and 39.8%, respectively. The results of analysis to use traditional cost system were as follows. Direct cost was 39.3% and it was as same as the result of direct cost of ABC system. Indirect cost was 60.7%. 2. Activities of clinical laboratory of subject hospital were registration, pre-test operation, test, test result handling, delivery, culture, post-test operation, technical support, management support, and educational support. 3. The differences of the case of higher number of test case being carried out, the cost of ABC system was lower than the cost of traditional cost system. Otherwise in the case of lower number of test case being carried out, the rests have not been appropriately evaluated, and effective management were needed in clinical laboratory.

The purpose of this study is on the development of 3-D conductive pattern fabrication system using laser. For development 3-D direct patterning system, we used the dynamic focusing, the laser power stabilizer and the auto aligning techniques. These technologies are already used commercially. However operation and control integrated system for 3-D direct patterning are not yet developed. The objective of this paper is to introduce laser direct structuring and develop the operating and integration system. Also we implemented new application of laser direct structuring.

This paper reports the experimental results concerning the thermal performance of a freeze-protected direct solar water heating system. The direct system tested has been manufactured to prevent any breakage during harsh wintry conditions by specially designed riser and downcomer headers capable of relieving extra pressure due to freezing of water. The direct system tested has shown 10% improvement in its efficiency over that of a indirect type system using antifreeze as the heat transfer medium. It is felt that any direct system of its kind could galvanize the whole solar industry if further improvements are made to ensure its durability.
