As technologies such as cameras, Laser Imaging, Detection, and Ranging (LiDAR), and Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) become more sophisticated and common, their use in autonomous driving technologies is being explored in various fields. In the maritime area, technologies related to collision avoidance between ships are being developed to evaluate and avoid the risk of collision between ships by setting various scenarios. However, the position of each vessel used in the process of developing collision avoidance technology between vessels uses data obtained through GNSS, and may include a position error of 10 m or more depending on the situation. In this paper, a study on the dynamic safety navigation range including the positional inaccuracy of the ship is conducted. By combining the concept of the protection level obtained using GNSS raw data with a conventional safe navigation range, a safer navigation range can be calculated for dynamic navigation. The calculated range is verified using data obtained while sailing in an actual sea environment.

An online social network is a platform that is continuously expanding, which enables groups of people to share their views and communicate with one another using the Internet. The social relations among members of the public are significantly improved because of this gesture. Despite these advantages and opportunities, criminals are continuing to broaden their attempts to exploit people by making use of techniques and approaches designed to undermine and exploit their victims for criminal activities. The field of digital forensics, on the other hand, has made significant progress in reducing the impact of this risk. Even though most of these digital forensic investigation techniques are carried out manually, most of these methods are not usually appropriate for use with online social networks due to their complexity, growth in data volumes, and technical issues that are present in these environments. In both civil and criminal cases, including sexual harassment, intellectual property theft, cyberstalking, online terrorism, and cyberbullying, forensic investigations on social media platforms have become more crucial. This study explores the use of machine learning techniques for addressing criminal incidents on social media platforms, particularly during forensic investigations. In addition, it outlines some of the difficulties encountered by forensic investigators while investigating crimes on social networking sites.

Recently, OTP (One-time-Password) log-in methods have been used in many areas to prevent leakage of personal information and enhance security. The OTP method is primarily used for security of bank personal account, this is one of the sophisticated security ways in which one time password is generated and checked to enhance security. Digital door locks frequently used in everyday life require convenience and safety simultaneously. Meanwhile, related technologies for digital door locks are evolving, but methods for enhancement of security are still unsatisfactory. Generally, the digital door lock using password input type has been most commonly used and especially it provides more convenience, but it has some problems such as password exposure and password oblivion. Therefore, in this study, we propose and implement the OTP-based digital door lock system with enhanced security and convenience features but without the risk of password exposure and oblivion.

This paper has examined the leapfrogging thesis with the case of catch-up in digital TV by the Korean firms. Despite the disadvantages implied by the technological regime of digital TV and the risks facing early entrants in trajectory choice and initial market formation, the Korean firms had achieved a 'path-creating catch-up' in the sense they chose a different path from the Japanese forerunning firms. As they have been closely watching the technological trends and the standard setting process, there was less risk of choosing the right or wrong technological trajectory. Also, despite the lack of sufficient capability and core knowledge base, the Korean firms had some complementary asset, such as the experience of producing analogue TV, and were able to develop the prototype digital TV and the ASIC chips, given the accesses to the foreign knowledge via overseas R&D posts and acquisition of a foreign company. To secure the initial market size, the Korean targeted the US market from the beginning, and their sources for competitive advantages were the speedy setting up the production system for mass production of products at the initial stage. The initial failure of the Japanese firms and the success of the Korean firms do suggest that the period of paradigm shift, like this toward digital technology, can serve as a window of opportunity for late-comers while penalizing the forerunner.
Feb. 11. 1997, Korean Government announced FM Radio Broadcasting and TV Terrestrial TV Broadcasting will be changed to digital format in year 2001, and all Korean Broadcasting except AM Radio and Microwave will be changed to digital format before 2010. In spite of IMF economic crisis, the Digitizing is the one of the hot issue in TV Broadcasting area. The narrow view of the Digitizing the Broadcasting is a technical development from the analogue to digital, but the extended view of it means not only the technical development but the revolution in the concept of TV and service area, relationship between sender and receiver, structure of TV Industry. Thus Digitizing the Broadcasting shifts paradigm and eventually it cause a big change in the advertising creative. The digital TV could be a very encouraging technical development for the consumers convenience because of the multiple choice in the channels and interactive services which leads us to the multimedia service through the TV . On the other hand, multimedia and multi-channel, interactivity implicate a big uncertainty and risk, This research paper is about the technical aspects and social aspects of digital TV and its influence of the marketing and TV advertising creative.

This study aims to investigate the impact of wide use of digital technology, in particular, the Internet, on innovation process and corporate strategy in electronics industry. The introduction of digital technology has changed innovation process, business model and organizational structure of the electronics companies. With the introduction of digital technology, the entire value chain of electronics industry from procurement, sales, and marketing to R&D and manufacturing has been restructured. E-commerce has been a major agenda for e-business. Recently, collaboration among electronics companies through e-marketplace has emerged as an important issue. A web-based e-commerce standard, so called RosettaNet, has been developed for facilitating e-transactions of electronics firms. The development of digital technology has dramatically increased the processing speed and sophisticated the virtual reality technology. As simulation becomes easier and more effective, the uncertainty and risk involved in R&D has decreased significantly. Another positive impact is closer cooperation between R&D and manufacturing functions. Taking advantage of automated and flexible production technology, has a new type of firm, so called, EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) emerged, whose strategic focus is on manufacturing only. The EMS can be seen as a kind of innovative organization, that is, a modular organization for production function. Digital technology has made convergence of computer and communication possible at early years but right now the convergence has been accelerated in extensive areas of communication, broadcasting, information appliances, software, contents, and services. Firms' effort for an innovative product and service has been intensified and the competition for a new standard product and service has become severe in electronics industry. Business activities are always realized in a specific organizational context. Accordingly building up innovation-friendly organization has emerged as a critical concern. Due to the striking decrease of transaction cost, a network type of organization has proliferated, and a business function turns into a modular organization. As a whole, digital technology has pushed electronics firms into developing their own business model, which takes consideration of standardization of business platform and their core competency.
This study aims to incorporate resilience factors into current suicide research that is focused on risk factors by validating the role of hope and self-forgiveness, which are potential resilience factors, in thwarted belongingness and perceived burdensomeness, risk factors according to the interpersonal theory of suicide. Data was collected from 316 undergraduates in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. We examined the correlations between self-forgiveness, hope, perceived burdensomeness, thwarted belongingness and suicidal ideation and tested moderating effects of self-forgiveness and hope on the relationship between perceived burdensomeness and suicidal ideation and between thwarted belongingness and suicidal ideation. The study results were all significant, indicating that self-forgiveness moderates the relationship between perceived burdensomeness and suicidal ideation and that hope moderates the relationship between thwarted belongingness and suicidal ideation. The result will be a basis for incorporating and resilience factors into the suicide risk assessment when educating suicidal prevention and counseling college students. Further research on studying more risk factors and resilience factors will contribute to establishing more useful and various suicide risk factor evaluation, prevention education, counseling and policies.

Objectives : This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Korean medicine for a thoracolumbar compression fracture. Methods : We searched six Korean databases (DBPIA, Korean Studies Information Service System, Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System, National Digital Science Library, Research Information Sharing Service, KoreaMed) (up to June 2015) and the Journal of Korean Acupuncture and Moxibustion Society. Unpublished studies were also searched. Clinical research, other than case reports involving less than 10 patients, were eligible. The effectiveness and safety of Korean Medicine was analyzed. The 'Risk of Bias' was assessed using the 'Risk of Bias' assessment tool for non-randomized studies as well as the Cochrane Collaboration's 'Risk of Bias' tool. Results : We found 12 before-after studies (374 patients). There was no randomized trial. All studies combined at least three different types of Korean medicine treatments. The period of treatment varied between less a week and 154 days. All the included studies reported improvements in pain, functional disability related to lower back pain, global assessment, and benefits in the compression ratio of a fractured vertebrae and skin temperature measured by digital infrared thermal imaging in comparison with the baseline. However, all studies had a high risk of bias and three studies reported mild adverse events. Conclusions : There is no randomized trial for the role of Korean medicine for patients with a thoracolumbar compression fracture. The effectiveness and safety of Korean medicine for this population remains unclear. Findings in this review are seriously biased due to observational design and a high risk of bias included in the studies. Future high-quality randomized trials are warranted.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the degree of cognitive impairment for the elders taking part in activities at senior community center and to identify the multiple factors affecting the cognitive dysfunction of them. Data were collected for the 375 elders taking part in activities at senior community center at 4 different areas of dong, up, and myun of C-city from June 2016 to July 2016, and their general characteristics as well as health-related characteristics, depression, and cognitive dysfunction were investigated and analyzed. The results of this study showed that cognitive dysfunction was affected by the age, education, economic support, history of stroke, and exercise. The risk of cognitive dysfunction was 3.50 times higher in patients over 80 years old than patients below 74 years old(p=.002), and the lower the level of education showed the higher the risk of cognitive dysfunction(p=.036)(p<.001). In addition, the risk of cognitive dysfunction was low in the absence of a history of stroke(p=.033), and the risk of cognitive dysfunction increased by 1.84 times if they do not exercise(p=.044). Based on the present study, It is required to consider the risk factors for cognitive dysfunction efforts to prevent and manage cognitive impairment before the onset of cognitive dysfunction.
