  • We study the stability of traveling waves of a certain chemotaxis model. The traveling wave solution is a central object of study in a chemotaxis model. Kim et al. [8] introduced a model on a population and nutrient densities based on a nonlinear diffusion law. They proved the existence of traveling waves for the one dimensional Cauchy problem. Existence theory for traveling waves is typically followed by stability analysis because any traveling waves that are not robust against a small perturbation would have little physical significance. We conduct a numerical nonlinear stability for a few relevant instances of traveling waves shown to exist in [8]. Results against absolute additive noises and relative additive noises are presented.

  • In order to analyze the density current due to salt and temperature difference, this study develops new numerical model (LES-WASS-3D ver. 2.0) by introducing state equation for salt and temperature and 3D advection-diffusion equation to existing 3D numerical wave tank (LES-WASS-3D ver. 1.0). To verify the applicability, the newly-developed numerical model is analyzed comparing to the experimental result of existing numerical model. In the result, it well implement the behavior and vertical salt concentration of advected and diffused seawater as well as flow velocity and temperature of the discharged warm water. This confirms the validity and effectiveness of the developed numerical model.

  • To know the seawater infiltration into tidal flat sediment in coastal area is very important, because it is significantly correlated with the infiltration and transportation of pollutants in soil, the supply of dissolved oxygen, nutrients and organic matter to benthic organisms for survival of benthic organisms and the seawater purification. So, we set up purpose to clarify the infiltration behavior of seawater by wave action in tidal flat, to clear the effects of slope of tidal flat and breaking wave height on seawater infiltration and to quantify the infiltration volume of seawater. For purpose, the seawater infiltration was studied with visualization method by using coloring tracer and transparent glass beads replaced as natural sediment in model tidal flat. Specific conclusions derived from this study are as follows. The semi-circular type infiltration of seawater by wave action into saturated sediment was a new infiltration behavior that was not considered in previous studies. The infiltration rate of seawater was increased with increasing of breaking wave height and slope of tidal flat. However, the effects of the slope was bigger than that of breaking wave height on seawater infiltration into tidal flat sediments. It was possible to calculate the infiltration volume of seawater by wave action in natural tidal flat sediment and in fields. Therefore, we can point out that wave action play an important role in the supply of dissolved oxygen, nutrients and organic matter to benthic organisms, transportation or diffusion of pollutants and seawater purification. So, we hope to be studied the supply of food to benthic organism, pollutant transport and seawater purification on the base of these results.

  • The electric wave propagation characteristics of electromagnetic field by induction current shows a nonlinear distinction in the metal but linear on air. This paper is written about the magnetic transmission distinction in the metalic tube, which wrapped the center axis by the same direction. The electromagnetic field made by the transmission signal is transferred from the transmission coil area toward the receiving coil by the magnetic diffusion. So, it is different magnetic flux around the coil with one in the remote field area. Analyzing such a complex magnetic characteristic, we verified this theory by the vector analysis and presented eddy current mechanism and analytical model about magnetic distribution in the remote field area. This magnetic distribution rate in metal body will be very useful in the nondestructive inspection of the eddy current in remote field which is recently rising as a new technology.

  • The model compounds of Vitamin $B_1$ 3-benzyl-4-methylthiazolium bromide, (1), 3, 4-dimethylthiazolium iodide (2) and 2-($\alpha$-hydroxyethyl)-3-benzyl-4-methylthiazolium bromide (3) were prepared by the organic synthesis. Colorimetric determination with phosphotungstic acid showed an increase of $1.1{\sim}1.2$ folds with compound (1) and $1.5{\sim}1.9$ folds with compound (3) when readings were carried out after an overnight, compared with immediate readings. Colorimetry with 2.6-dibromoquinone chloroimide yielded the compound (1) being $2.2{\sim}2.5$ folds higher than the compound (3). The half wave potentials and diffusion currents of anodic and cathodic waves of polarography with the same concentration of the compounds (1), (2) and (3) also resulted in different values of their waves. Therefore, it was a firm conclusion that any values obtained from quantitative analysis with this model compounds (1), (2) and (3) were not directly applicable to those of $B_1$.

  • The purpose of the study was to verify deduction of each coefficient necessary to analysis on micro-pressure waves and reliability of the analysis result. The tunnel running train model testing device used in the test was manufactured by scale of 1:60 and the study used a train model with ten cars long according to specifications of KTX model. The study applied tunnels with cross sections of $107.9m^3\;and\;95.1m^3$ and applied tunnel extensions with 1km, 0.75km and 0.5km. Also, the study tested train speed by changing it into 275, 300, 325 and 350km/h. The test device was a hydraulic launch system composed of a train model, a hydraulic launcher, a tunnel model and a brake. The study measured speed of a model trainby a speed sensor installed in the point of each 1.2m from the front of tunnel entrance and a pithead of tunnel exit and measured pressure change of internal tunnel continuously by installing pressure sensors in the entrance part of tunnel, in the middle part of tunnel and in the exit part of tunnel. As the result of the measurement, it was known that pressure slope of pressure wave happened in the entrance part of tunnel was increased by a nonlinear effect while spreading the tunnel or its pressure slope was reduced by diffusion. Also, the study compared and analyzed micro-pressure waves happened in the exit part of the tunnel by installing each kind of hoods in the entrance part of the tunnel to prevent reduction of micro-pressure waves.

  • This study examined the structure of YouTube video network and the factors for the diffusion of Chinese creator's videos through the case of famous Chinese creator Fengtimo. There is few interest to the diffusion of Chinese contents among Korean researchers, while they have been studied the consumption of Hallyu(Korean wave) contents overseas. Using the data that YouTube Data API offers, this study analysed the video network that the comments of which are same users with NodeXL tools and the regression model with JASP tools. The study found that there are three groups of the YouTube channels of that network. They are domestic official accounts of Fengtimo, foreign officail accounts of Fengtimo and individual creators' accounts. The official accounts share the videos of Fengtimo's songs and entertainment contents for the fans, where the individual creators share their own meme videos(UGC). The significant factors for the diffusion in the YouTube video network are comments, likes, out-degree, dislikes, in-degree and betweenness centrality. There are significant difference between official channel and indivisual groups on the views. And degree and betweenness centrality have mediating effect. It is necessary to conduct more research on that subject with many other cases if we want to get to know the generalized explanation.

  • Soil temperature was measured from the surface to 40 cm depth at three stations with different heights in tidal flat of Gomso Bay, west coast of Korea, for one month in every season 2004 to examine the thermal structure and the variation. Mean temperature in surface layer was higher in summer and lower in winter than in lower layer, reflecting the seasonal variation of vertically propagating structure of temperature by heating and cooling from the tidal flat surface. Standard deviation of temperature decreased from the surface to lower layer. Periodic variations of solar radiation energy and tide mainly caused short term variation of soil temperature, which was also intermittently influenced by precipitation and wind. Time series analysis showed the power spectral energy peaks at the periods of 24, 12 and 8 hours, and the strongest peak appeared at 24 hour period. These peaks can be interpreted as temperature waves forced by variations of solar radiation, diurnal tide and interaction of both variations, respectively. EOF analysis showed that the first and the second modes resolved 96% of variation of vertical temperature structure. The first mode was interpreted as the heating antl cooling from tidal flat surface and the second mode as the effect of phase lag produced by temperature wave propagation in the soil. The phase of heat transfer by 24 hour period wave, analyzed by cross spectrum, showed that mean phase difference of the temperature wave increased almost linearly with the soil depth. The time lags by the phase difference from surface to 10, 20 and 40cm were 3.2,6.5 and 9.8 hours, respectively. Vertical thermal diffusivity of temperature wave of 24 hour period was estimated using one dimensional thermal diffusion model. Average diffusivity over the soil depths and seasons resulted in $0.70{\times}10^{-6}m^2/s$ at the middle station and $0.57{\times}10^{-6}m^2/s$ at the lowest station. The depth-averaged diffusivity was large in spring and small in summer and the seasonal mean diffusivity vertically increased from 2 cm to 10 cm and decreased from 10 cm to 40 cm. Thermal propagation speeds were estimated by $8.75{\times}10^{-4}cm/s,\;3.8{\times}10{-4}cm/s,\;and\;1.7{\times}10^{-4}cm/s$ from 2 cm to 10 cm, 20 cm and 40 cm, respectively, indicating the speed reduction with depth increasing from the surface.

  • Globalization has brought about rapid economic, technological, and cultural changes. In order for countries around the world to communicate, recognize and understand globalization, creativity or planning ability can be used to code. In this paper, we would like to present and prove a data analysis that can solve world problems. In the global market, the value of goods or services increases with connectivity. This connection is becoming one of the factors that increase the value of culture. Changes taking this into account promoted cultural spread and innovative growth, and increased productivity and competitiveness in each region of the world. This paper compares the income of the middle class in the United States on the impact of globalization and anti-globalization on cultural spread and innovative growth. Globalization has created an environment in which various elements of K-culture can interact and spread. Through the Internet, social media, and international travel, globalization has had a positive impact on Korea's innovative growth. In areas such as economic activity, technological innovation, and creative industries, globalization has facilitated new tech and approaches, Through this, it changed the existing economic model and contributed to exports K-culture with a new middle class model. However, globalization in the cultural industry can result in the loss of regional characteristics & individuality, which can lead to the middle class cultural unification and alienation(chasm). As a result of the empirical analysis of K-exports for the middle income in the United States, cultural diffusion and innovation must be developed even in anti-globalization. With these industrial changes the soft power value of the Korean Wave proves that it can create value for use for the middle class of major exporting countries.

  • Recently K-POP's popularity and the success story of 'Psy' suggests that Korean Culture can get the possibility of entry into the global major market. Increasing the purchasing power of global contents distribution also shows that the delivery of cultural content can be a big business model to create economic benefits. However, for sustainable diffusion of Korean culture, we need efforts to expand the business scope to the global market like the establishment of global distribution platform. In this study, we investigated key factors for activating the global content distribution and then analyzed priority of importance of the factors to be utilized the strategic alternatives using AHP method. To ensure the reliability of the study, experts (30patients) who worked more than 10 years of relevant work were included as population of the questionnaire. The results of analysis, the relative importance of content aspects were higher than technical aspects and policy aspects. In the analysis of the importance of the second layer factors, the business models of policy aspects were analyzed as a factor of top priority, then high-quality content production was selected as an important factor of the next higher ranks.
