This study explains the fundamental problems of MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) based on major survey results for MOOC and online courses conducted in the United States. Consequently, this study integrates the following conclusions and suggestions on how to improve MOOC and convergence of MOOC and universities under the current IT technology. First, the division into small sized classes will solve the problem of massiveness with MOOC. The problem of openness will be solved by providing differentiated courses based on placement tests; and the weakness of onlineness can be complemented through Flipped Learning methodologies. Second, in convergence of universities and MOOC, there are two desirable approache s: credit-free courses use the improved MOOC suggested in this study while credit courses are conducted by Flipped Learning, based on core online courses within departments. In addition, the credit courses offer intensive and supplementary ones together if possible. Third, MOOC will be utilized more widely as it will offer differentiated courses and be produced by education-based universities.
In relation to differentiated mathematics education, Russia has a longer experience in research and practice than Korea. The mathematics curriculum for 10-11 grades currently in use in Russia is a level-specific curriculum and consists of a basic level and an advanced level. And in Russia mathematics textbooks for 10-11 grades are also textbooks for each level. In this study, we analyzed basic level textbook and advanced level textbook written by the same author group among the textbooks 'Algebra and Introduction of Mathematical Analysis' of the 10th grade in Russia. To analyze the main learning contents and textbook descriptions that were added in advanced level the 'real numbers' and 'complex numbers' sections were studied. The main contents of basic and advanced level textbooks for 'functions', 'trigonometric functions', 'trigonometric equations', 'conversions of trigonometric expressions', and 'derivatives', which are included in both basic and advanced textbooks were compared and analyzed, and the descriptive characteristics of the definitions and theorems presented in the two levels of textbooks were also compared and analyzed. From the results of this study, it is expected that various information on the contents of various level textbooks of mathematics, the differences between textbooks for each level, and strategies for the composition of textbooks for various level can be accumulated.

In this paper, a parameter optimization method of RIO-DC (RED (Random Early Detection) with In and Out-De-Coupled Queues) scheme for Assured Service (AS) in Differentiated Services (DiffServ) is proposed. In order to optimize QoS (Quality of Service) performance of the RIO-DC policy for AS in terms of maximum tolerable latency, link utilization, fairness, etc., we should design router nodes with proper RIO-DC operating parameter values. Therefore, we propose a RIO-DC configuration method and the admission control criterion, considering the allocated bandwidth to each subclass and the corresponding buffer size, to increase throughput for In-profile traffic and link utilization. Simulation results show that RIO-DC with the proposed parameter values guarantees QoS performance comparable with the RIO scheme and it improves fairness between AS flows remarkably.

The purpose of this study was to examine the current student assessment plan of subject domain and to propose ways to improve it. This study analyzed the history of our student assessment plan of subject domain and overviewed the student assessment cases of several countries. And then researchers discussed the improvement plans of student assessment of subject domain. The results of this study are as follows. First, we need to enlarge the use of detailed subject-ability record space or to assess student's subject-related ability according to subordinate perspectives of subject. Second, we need to establish the desirable evaluation-perspective and to develop absolute evaluation criteria of each subject and unit. Third, we need to diffentiate the scores of differentiated test items or equate the scores of differentiated groups.
The aim of this study is to make it sure how pupils' science inquiry skills and attitude are influenced when they are taught by using the work-sheets for the differentiated learning according to their ability. In order to accomplish this aim, two classes of the fourth grade in the elementary school were distinguished into two groups: one was the experimental class and the other, the comparative class. The experimental class was given 52 hours of science lessons using the above sheets, and the comparative class, the general method of teaching. In order to compare their scientific interest and learning ability of the two groups each other, pupils were tested the standardized achievement in advance. The two groups were also given "ex post facto test" to measure the variation of their inquiry skills and attitude after the lessons. In addition, the experimental class was tested to measure their learning attitude after they are teamed the science with the sheets. The results of this study are as follows: 1. According to the percentile statistics of the science inquiry skills test between the two groups, the work-sheets for the differentiated teaming helped pupils develope their inquiry skills remarkably. 2. The work-sheets did not lead to significant difference between the learning ability of boys and girls. 3. The science lesson using the work-sheets showed positive influences in increasing pupils' scientific attitude. 4. About 77.2 percent of pupils accepted the excellent records of the evaluation in the science lesson using the sheets. It can be, therefore, concluded that the science lesson using the work-sheets for differentiated teaming is one of effective science lessons to increasing pupils' science inquiry skills, compared with the general teaching method.
The 96 elementary school teachers' the degrees of understandings about the characteristics of the currents according to the connection methods of batteries in simple electric circuits were investigated. In this study, the concepts on the characteristics of currents according to the connection methods of batteries were divided 'the learned concepts' and 'the differentiated concepts'. The characteristics of the currents in the region of the larger resistance of load than the internal resistance of a battery were called the learned concepts, they are taught in the science curriculum. While the characteristics of the currents in the region of the smaller resistance of load than the internal resistance of a battery were called the differentiated concepts, they are not exposed clearly in the science curriculum. The results obtained in this study are as follows: The average score related to the learned concepts was relatively high, while the degree of the teachers' cognitions of the internal resistance of a battery and the resistance of wires were low. Also the average score related to the differentiated concepts was very low because it seems so new to the elementary school teachers. It strongly suggests that the elementary school teachers did not understand meaningfully the characteristics of the currents related to the connections of batteries on the ground of the cognitions of the internal resistances of batteries and the resistances of loads in simple electric circuits. Hence, they might experience difficulties due to the problems occurred in relation to the connections of batteries in the elementary school science lessons.

These days there are so many music school graduates. There are also many private music education institutions. Therefor the competition in music private education market very tight. In old days people working in education music market had made big money and many parents wanted their girls and boys to learn piano and other musical instruments. However recently birth ratio in Korea has been dramatically dropped and not many parents wants their kids to learn musical instruments because of economic depression and negative music market. Eventually the size of the music education market is decreased dramatically and the competition in music education market is very hot. Therefor without the upgraded management system it is hard to expect over performance in music education market aspects. The purpose of this study was to find out what are the main factors that affect on business performance of the music education institutions. The main areas that researched in this study were success factors, reason of the start-up, and factors of management success. The research was conducted on the owners of the music education institutions. The factors that affect on the outcome of the business performance were diverse. Therefore the management of music education institutions also need the systematical analysis on the location, environmental factors, people nearby areas, differentiated market strategy and other analysis the same as corporate and business management.

School libraries are one of the essential parts for high quality education. The Seventh Educational Cumiculum emphasizes the development of creative and autonomous students who can solve problems in a self-directed way. The Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development come into forcing the installation of school digital library since 2001. Also, the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development has presented the Master Plan of School's Activation in July 2002. In this situation, the research and discussion on effective model of school digital library are very important. Thus, This study aims to design a model of school digital library differentiated School's sizes depending on primary and secondary school's current status. This study is proposed 4 facility model of school digital library based differentiated school's sizes and designed A-type, B-Type model on individual model.
The key feature of the $7^{th}$ Education curriculum, which is applied by order by year from 2000, is represented by differentiated curriculum. In order to embody differentiated curriculum, it is extensively recommended the level-based instruction. Level-based class basically has purposes to give students matched study experiences in accordance with their abilities and to help all students to understand what they have learned through providing differentiated instruction with considering the learners' stand points. The preceding researches have reported many cases about operating methods and educational effectiveness for the level-based instruction. In the meantime, researches about students' acceptances or opinions related to the level-based instruction are not sufficient. In this research, students opinions about level-based instruction are analyzed, based on the distinction of sex and level, and improving operational methods are suggested.
The purpose of this study is to prevent obesity in the elderly and to seek differentiated intervention measures according to education level by comparing and analyzing the factors influencing obesity in single-person households according to education level. Using the data from the National Health and Nutrition Survey in 2020, cross-analysis and logistic regression analysis were conducted through data of a total of 400 respondents, and the analysis showed vulnerability in physical activities that could affect obesity if the education level was low, and risk factors such as eating out and sodium intake were high. As a result of comparative analysis of influencing factors through the classification of education levels, sedentary time was a risk factor in the low-education group, and sodium intake was a risk factor for obesity in the high-education group. Through this, it was discussed the need for healthy nutrition and physical activity education for middle-aged and elderly single-person households, and differentiated intervention according to the level of education.
