  • There has been a growing need for interaction between human operator and a remote system to perform a complex task in an unpredictable environment and to operate an important work at a remote distance. The interaction becomes an important parameter in the teleautonomous operation because it permits the operator to control the system at remote distance. As the environmental uncertainties to be applied are getting increased, so is the difference between the plan of the operator and the execution of the system increased. Since the operator may be difficult to know the latest information from frequently changing environment due to time-varying delays, remote system may be hard to control in accordance with the operators command. Interactive Teleautonomous Control System (ITCS) is an approach based on interactions at these environments. The ITCS can be regarded as a control system using the transmitted a system's intnetion. The interactive teleautonomous control does not mean the interaction from operators point of view only considering feedback environmental information and forward simulation but an interaction between the operator and the system that transmits or receives intentions. The proposed ITCS is based on the intention communication that transmits their intentions to each other. The ITCS can correctly control the system in accordance with the operator's intention. Using the intention communication, a system intention is helpful to the operator. In the interactive teleautonomous control, the intention communication has to be provided by the interaction between the operator and the system.

  • We construct the sets of Boolean matrix pairs, which are naturally occurred at the extreme cases for the Boolean rank inequalities relative to the sums and difference of two Boolean matrices or compared between their Boolean ranks and their real ranks. For these sets, we consider the linear operators that preserve them. We characterize those linear operators as T(X) = PXQ or $T(X)\;=\;PX^tQ$ with appropriate invertible Boolean matrices P and Q.

  • We consider G/M/1 queues with multiple vacation disci-pline where at the end of every busy period the server stays idle in the system for a period of time called changeover time and then follows a vacation if there is no arrival during the changeover time. The vaca-tion time has a hyperexponential distribution. By using the methods of the shift operator and supplementary variable we explicitly obtain the queue length probabilities at arrival time points and arbitrary time points simultaneously.

  • In this work, we establish Heisenberg-type uncertainty principle for the Bessel-Struve Fock space ${\mathbb{F}}_{\nu}$ associated to the Airy operator $L_{\nu}$. Next, we give an application of the theory of extremal function and reproducing kernel of Hilbert space, to establish the extremal function associated to a bounded linear operator $T:{\mathbb{F}}_{\nu}{\rightarrow}H$, where H be a Hilbert space. Furthermore, we come up with some results regarding the extremal functions, when T are difference operators.

  • An attemption of synthesizing and forecasting of monthly river flow has been made by employing a linear stochastic difference equation model. As one of the linear stochestic difference equation model, an ARIMA Type is tested to find the suitability of the model to the monthly river flows. On the assumption of the stationary covariacne of differenced monthly river flows the model is identrfield and is evaluated so that the residuale have the minimum variance. Finally a test is performed to finld the residerals beings White noise. Monthly river flows at six stations in Han River Basin are applied for case studies. It was found that the difference operator is a good measure of forecasting the monthly river flow.

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the degree of correspondences among corners found in building facade imagery when the projective transformation parameters are applied to. Additionally, an appropriate corner detection operator is determined through experiments. Modeling of the shape of a building has been studied in numerous approaches using various type of data such as aerial imagery, aerial lidar scanner imagery, terrestrial imagery, and terrestrial lidar imagery. This study compared the Harris operator with FAST operator and found that the Harris operator is superior in extracting major corner points. After extracting corners using the Harris operator and assessing the degree of correspondence among corners in difference images, real corresponding corners were found to be located in the closest distance. The experiment of the projective transformation with varying corners shows that more corner control points with a good distribution enhances the accuracy of the correspondences.

  • In this paper, we propose a new efficient operator named DBAH (difference between arithmetic mean and harmonic mean) and a technique for extracting sketch features through learning fuzzy inference rules with a neural network. The DBAH operator provide some advantages; sensitivity dependence on local intensities and insensitivity on small rates of intensity change in very dark regions. Also, the proposed fuzzy reasoning technique by a neural network has a good performance in extracting sketch features without human intervention.

  • This paper presents the numerical valuation of the arithmetic Asian option by using the operator-splitting method (OSM). Since there is no closed-form solution for the arithmetic Asian option, finding a good numerical algorithm to value the arithmetic Asian option is important. In this paper, we focus on a two-dimensional PDE. The OSM is famous for dealing with plural-dimensional PDE using finite difference discretization. We provide a detailed numerical algorithm and compare results with MCS method to show the performance of the method.

  • We investigate the eigenvalues of the semi-circulant preconditioned matrix for the finite difference scheme corresponding to the second-order elliptic operator with the variable coefficients given by $L_vu\;:=-{\Delta}u+a(x,\;y)u_x+b(x,\;y)u_y+d(x,\;y)u$, where a and b are continuously differentiable functions and d is a positive bounded function. The semi-circulant preconditioning operator $L_cu$ is constructed by using the leading term of $L_vu$ plus the constant reaction term such that $L_cu\;:=-{\Delta}u+d_cu$. Using the field of values arguments, we show that the eigenvalues of the preconditioned matrix are clustered at some number. Some numerical evidences are also provided.

  • Let $\mu$(x) be an increasing function on the real line with finite moments of all oeders. We show that for any linear operator T on the space of polynomials and any interger n $\geq$ 0, there is a constant $\gamma n(T)\geq0$, independent of p(x), such that $\parallel T_p\parallel\leq\gamma n(T)\parallel P\parallel$, for any polynomial p(x) of degree $\leq$ n, where We find a formular for the best possible value $\Gamma_n(T)\;of\;\gamma n(T)$ and estimations for $\Gamma_n(T)$. We also give several illustrating examples when T is a differentiation or a difference operator and $d\mu$(x) is an orthogonalizing measure for classical or discrete orthogonal polynomials.
