The purpose of VE (Value Engineering) activities is to come to an achievement of building necessary functions at the lowest possible cost. This study unfolds the co-VE activities which occurred between Gas Range and its partner company in the supply of Grill Body. The co-VE activity has accomplished the cost reduction of about 57 million through performing the function deployment of 12 parts and by devising the alternatives.

0의 개념 및 0이 포함된 사칙계산은 학생들이 수학 학습에서 경험하는 어려운 내용 중 하나이다. 이는 0의 발생 과정 및 0을 포함하는 계산에 대한 인식 등에서 수학사적으로도 확인되는 바이다. 따라서 수학 교수 학습 시 학생들의 0 개념에 대한 올바른 이해와 0을 포함하는 계산 절차의 숙달을 위한 적절한 지도가 이루어져야 함을 함의한다. 본 연구는 선행 연구에 기초하여 학생들이 경험할 것으로 예상되는 0처리 오류가 주의 깊게 지도되고 있는지 조사하고 바람직한 지도 방향을 모색하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 교과용 도서 분석을 통해 실제 수학 지도 시 0의 개념 및 0을 포함하는 계산이 적절하게 지도되고 있는지 검토하였다. 분석 결과, $0{\div}$수, 몫의 중간에 0이 포함되는 나눗셈의 지도가 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 관련 내용의 학습을 목표로 하는 활동지를 구성하고, 0처리 오류 방지를 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

In this study, we studied some examples using GSP(Geometer's SketchPad) in the process of problem solving that is explained by G. polya. After reconsidering examples, we tried to show that using GSP can help student's intuitive thinking, investigative activities, reflective thinking. Especially, in the three phase of problem solving(understanding the problem, devising a plan, looking back), mathematics teachers may using GSP in order to helping student's understanding. Besides, we tried to suggest the direction to use GSP more adequately in the teaching and Beaming mathematics. First of all, Mathematics teachers using GSP in their class must have ideas how to use it. And they have to be careful on the didactical transposition of mathematical knowledge in the computer-based learning. They also have to lead students move from activities with GSP materials to carrying out the problem solving plan and reflection activities.

This study examines the effects of the public's perception of emergency medical service (EMS) on the public health system's brand equity and the moderating effect of governance on this relationship using Keller's customer-based brand equity model. It uses four EMS functions: rescue/first-aid and transfer activities; disaster prevention, preparation, and response activities; educational activities in urgent situations; and medical treatment in emergency rooms to examine the effects of them on brand meaning of the public health system. Our findings are important for understanding the public as customers of the public health system and devising and/ or adapting healthcare policies and marketing strategies to develop brand equity and increase customers' loyalty to the public health system.

This study is a theoretical exploration of project-based service-learning and its application in designing pre-dental curricula. As a response to the limitation of community service courses, service-learning has been implemented as pedagogy in higher education practices. Service-learning connects service and learning by engaging students in activities that address community needs with intentionally designed learning opportunities while adding value to and transforming both service and learning. Project-based service-learning is an extended and more active version of service-learning. Whereas service activities are arranged by instructors in the original service-learning, project-based service-learning provides students with opportunities for exploring problems and root causes on site and then devising and implementing solutions of their own using their talents and creativity. This study proposes a theoretical approach to project-based service-learning and suggests six design components, namely, related curriculum, reflection, reciprocity, service and community engagement, evaluation and recognition, and creative problem solving. Based on the components, 20 design strategies are formulated. The exploration is aimed to provide design guides for professionals attempting to implement project-based service-learning in higher education.

비동기 통신 수단으로써의 e-BBS (electronic-Bulletin Board System, 전자게시판)는 협력 학습을 위한 유용한 매체로 알려져 왔다. 그러나 e-BBS의 구조적 분석을 이해하기 위한 이론적 결과는 이직 충분하지 못하다. 그 결과, 복잡한 의사소통 현상을 이해하고 교수자를 도와 학생들을 교육 목적으로 이끌 수 있도록 보조하는 적절한 도구의 부재를 초래하게 되었다. 그로 인해 BBS를 활용하는 교수자는 토의 상황의 구조적, 종합적 이해가 부재한 상태에서 거의 방임적으로 운영하게 된다. 이러한 문제점에 대처하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 BBS의 구조적 이해를 돕기 위한 이론적 토대를 제시하고 그를 바탕으로 토의 활동 참여자의 행동 분석을 위한 계산 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 쌍방향 토의 활동의 형식 표현은 응답 그래프와 연결 그래프의 두 그래프로 이루어지며 분석을 위한 여러 측정치와 통계량이 제시된다. 분석의 결과를 명확하게 제시하기 위하여 유형별로 분류한다.

Pusan Metropolitan City has developed 'HANARO Card' system. It is a sort of multi-function card systems which has devised to resolve many traffic problems, to improve public transportation services, to build advanced transit information systems, to encourage reasonable operation of the public transit companies, and to obtain basic informations for devising transportation policies. This study aims at reviewing the systems of 'HANARO Card', analysing the situation of usage of the card, and suggesting some issues for improving the system. Main finding is that the major effects of the introducing HANARO traffic card are convenience (to pay a charge) in using transit, public parking lots, city freeway toll for citizens, and saving in personnel expenses, maintenance expenses for buses, subway and taxi companies. It is also found that HANARO traffic card system needs to be expended to be compatible with other fields of economic activities.

본 연구는 치위생과 학생들의 자원봉사 만족도와 자원봉사활동에 영향을 줄 수 있는 요인의 연관성을 찾아 내어 치위생과 학생들의 자원봉사활동을 활성화하기 위한 프로그램을 마련하는 방안 및 문제점을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 광주광역시에 소재한 2개 대학교의 치위생과 재학생 265명을 대상으로 2012년 11월부터 12월까지 자기기입식 설문 조사를 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 조사대상자의 일반적 특성은 1학년이 51.3%로 가장 많았고 과거 봉사활동 경험이 있는 학생이 74.3%였으며 자원봉사 활동분야에서 장애인 분야가 31.7%로 가장 많았다. 자원봉사활동 참여 동기는 '학점 취득 및 자원봉사활동실적을 쌓기 위해서' 가 56.2%로 가장 많은 분포를 나타내었다. 전공봉사활동에 대해서는 과거 봉사활동경험이 있는 경우가 경험이 없는 경우가 더 높게 나타났고, 봉사활동 참여형태에서 동아리나 소모임이 가장 높았다. 전공봉사활동에 대한 만족도는 주변인의 지지가 높을수록, 업무의 인식도가 높을수록, 업무의 적절성이 높을수록 가족의 지지가 높을수록 높았다. 따라서 치위생과 학생들이 전공봉사활동에 대한 만족도를 높여 자발적이고 지속적인 참여를 할 수 있도록 자원봉사자의 체계적인 교육 및 대학의 실정에 맞는 교과목을 개발하여 효과적인 프로그램의 개발이 시행되어 대학생들의 인식을 바꾸고 활성화 될 수 있도록 많은 연구가 필요할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was implementing the high-school 'Food Safety and Health' curriculum using the workbook, and to evaluate the educational impact on, and satisfaction of student who participated in class. A total of 109 lessons were undertaken in home economics classes by referring to the 'Food Safety and Health' workbook for 1,154 students attending seven high schools located in seven cities and provinces across the Korea. In order to examine the effects of classes by referring to workbooks, pre- and post-evaluations were conducted by devising a questionnaire about dietary behavior associated with food safety, creative problem-solving abilities, community capacities, and social cooperation capacities. The results of the analysis of the collected data from 674 students who participated in the pre- and post-evaluations are as follows. First, according to the results of the paired t-test conducted to examine the effects of using the workbook in classes on dietary behavior, significant positive changes were observed in the dietary behavior related to food safety, creative problem-solving skills, community consciousness, and social cooperation capabilities. Second, as a result of the students' evaluation of classes by referring to the 'Food Safety and Health' workbook, both satisfaction and interest in the class using the workbook were high, and the difficulty level was deemed to be appropriate. Additionally, it was found that the students actively participated in learning activities. The reason for this appears to be that the aforementioned workbook consisted of various student activities such as experiments, practical exercises, and group activities aimed at strengthening the link between life and education, thus enabling increased student participation.

There have been various flower exhibitions in many countries such as Netherlands, Japan and China so as to encourage the growth of flower industry since they recognize the value of flower as cultural goods. Chungnam Province government, also endeavoring to make the. regional flower industry into high valued agriculture and exporting industry, plans to open the international flower exhibition in Anmyon-Do from April 26th, 2002. This flower show, first held by local government and featuring mega-event tourism, is expected to contribute to initiating flower industry and related business in Chungnam region. However, the flower exhibition may not be said to succeed if it does not play enough to trigger the role in expanding its effect on post growth of regional flower industry. This paper aimed at suggesting strategies of maintaining festival boom of post Anmyon-Do flower fair and contributing to take off of flower agriculture and its related industry as follows; 1) inviting various flower business activities into exhibition places 2) establishing flower village town attracted by tourists 3) devising the flower R&D center 4) organizing helping center for infant flower business group.
