관로 노후도 평가결과를 이용한 상수도 관로의 잔존수명 평가 기법의 개발 (Development of techniques for evaluating residual life of water pipes based on pipe deterioration evaluation results)

  • 본 논문에서는 상수관로의 효율적인 유지 관리를 위해 상수도 기술진단에서 점수평가법으로 도출된 관망성능평가결과를 이용한 상수도 관로의 내구연수 및 잔존수명 산정 방법을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 잔존수명은 '모델에 의해 추정된 매설 후 최적교체시기까지 경과년수'를 의미하는 '내구연수'와 매설 후 경과년수의 차이로 정의하였으며, 내구연수는 관망성능평가기준으로 제시된 노후관로 판정기준 점수에 도달하는 시점으로 정의하였다. 연구대상지역의 관망성능평가에 사용된 평가항목들과 노후도 점수를 상수도 관로의 잔존수명 추정을 위한 다중회귀모델의 변수로 사용하였다. 잔존수명의 산정에 필요한 내구연수를 추정하기 위하여 구축된 회귀모델에 독립변수로 사용된 노후도 점수를 나타내는 변수의 값으로 노후관로 판정기준 점수에 해당하는 값을 대입하였다. 개발된 회귀모델을 이용하여 연구대상지역 상수도 관로의 내구연수 및 잔존수명을 산정하였으며 그 결과를 지방공기업법에서 제시하고 있는 내용연수와 비교하여 분석하였다.

승가사 석조승가대사좌상의 손상도 및 표면오염물 분석 (Analysis of Surface Contaminants and Deterioration Degree on the Seated Stone Statue of Buddhist Master Seungga at Seunggasa Temple in Seoul, Korea)

  • 이 연구는 장기간 백색 피복물질로 덮여 있던 승가사 석조승가대사좌상의 보존처리 직후 상태를 기록하기 위해 수행하였다. 좌상과 더불어 석조 광배도 함께 검토되었으며, 정밀조사와 비파괴 진단을 통해 자료를 확보하였다. 표면 손상도 평가 결과, 좌상과 광배 모두 물리적 손상은 크지 않은 것으로 나타났으나 변색으로 인한 화학적 손상률은 비교적 높았다. 초음파 측정을 이용한 물성진단 결과, 좌상과 광배의 평균 초음파속도는 3,570 m/s와 3,373 m/s로서 3등급(MW)에 해당하는 양호한 물성을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 좌상의 표면 피복물질에서는 Ca, Ti, Pb, Fe, Al 및 Si가 검출되었는데, 이는 호분($CaCO_3$) 또는 석회($CaO{\cdot}Ca(OH)_2$)와 규산염광물의 조성이 복합적으로 작용한 것이다. 또한 Ti과 Pb은 백색안료인 타이타늄화이트($TiO_2$)와 연백($2PbCO_2{\cdot}Pb(OH)_2$)의 성분으로 판단된다. 따라서 승가대사좌상은 과거에 호분 또는 석회로 칠해진 이후, 타이타늄화이트와 연백에 의해 덧칠되었던 것으로 해석할 수 있다.

해상송전철탑 구조물의 주기점검을 통한 경년열화 변화특성 (Aging Deterioration for Electric Power Transmission Tower on Offshore Through Periodic Inspections)

  • 해상송전철탑 구조물에 있어서 구조 및 재료 손상에 대해 주기적으로 안전점검을 실시하고, 그 결과를 이용한 수명관리(life management)의 시행은 적극 추천되는 일이다. 본 연구에서는 영흥도 시화호 내에 있는 총 6개의 해상송전철탑에 대해서 강재부재에 대해 3가지, 콘크리트 기초에 대해 5가지, 해수 중 강관파일 및 해수 자체에 대해 4가지 형태의 열화점검을 각각 수행하였다. 강재에 대한 점검 항목들은 외관조사, 부재두께, 도막상태 등에 대한 것이고, 콘크리트 기초에 있어서는 균열형상, 압축강도, 중성화깊이, 염화물 함유량 등에 대한 항목, 그리고 해중 강관파일에 있어서의 전위 및 양극조사에 따른 부식정도, 동영상 촬영 및 해수의 수질환경성 평가 등에 대한 항목이다. 이와 같은 정기적 열화점검은 연속 3년 동안 매년 10월경에 동일위치에 대해 평가하였다. 결과적으로 본 연구에서는 이러한 자료를 체계적으로 활용함으로써 해상송전철탑 안전성 유지관리에 유익하게 적용될 수 있는 새로운 열화지표를 개발하였다.

방사선 투과촬영을 활용한 철불의 손상도 평가 및 제작기법 고찰 (Consideration of Making Techniques and Deterioration Assessment using Radiography for the Iron Buddha Statues)

  • 철원 도피안사 철조비로자나불좌상, 동해 삼화사 철조노사나불좌상, 평택 만기사 철조여래좌상은 통일신라에서 고려시대에 조성된 철불로서 균열, 탈락, 박리박락, 각종 오염물 등이 발생하였다. 방사선 투과촬영을 활용한 철불의 손상도 평가 결과, 철불 내부에서는 균열, 이격, 탈락, 주물공, 보수물질 등이 확인되었다. 그러나 철의 강도로 보아 외부로부터 큰 충격이 가해지지 않는 이상 현재의 상태를 유지할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 철불의 제작에는 내형과 외형을 철심과 못을 사용하여 고정하였으며, 표면의 이음선과 양각된 명문, 따로 주조되어 결합된 손으로 보아 초중자주조법으로 조성되었을 것으로 판단된다.

Prediction of the remaining service life of existing concrete bridges in infrastructural networks based on carbonation and chloride ingress

  • The second half of the 20th century was marked with a significant raise in amount of railway bridges in Austria made of reinforced concrete. Today, many of these bridges are slowly approaching the end of their envisaged service life. Current methodology of assessment and evaluation of structural condition is based on visual inspections, which, due to its subjectivity, can lead to delayed interventions, irreparable damages and additional costs. Thus, to support engineers in the process of structural evaluation and prediction of the remaining service life, the Austrian Federal Railways (${\ddot{O}}$ BB) commissioned the formation of a concept for an anticipatory life cycle management of engineering structures. The part concerning concrete bridges consisted of forming a bridge management system (BMS) in a form of a web-based analysis tool, known as the LeCIE_tool. Contrary to most BMSs, where prediction of a condition is based on Markovian models, in the LeCIE_tool, the time-dependent deterioration mechanisms of chloride- and carbonation-induced corrosion are used as the most common deterioration processes in transportation infrastructure. Hence, the main aim of this article is to describe the background of the introduced tool, with a discussion on exposure classes and crucial parameters of chloride ingress and carbonation models. Moreover, the article presents a verification of the generated analysis tool through service life prediction on a dozen of bridges of the Austrian railway network, as well as a case study with a more detailed description and implementation of the concept applied.

국도포장 유지보수 공법 및 시기에 따른 편익산정 방안 (Methodology for Benefit Evaluation according to Maintenance Method and Timing of National Highway Pavement Section)

  • PURPOSES : This study aims at proposing the methodology for benefit evaluations in pavement maintenance methods and timings using KoPMS(Korean Pavement Management System) software which was developed for efficient pavement management. METHODS : This study classified pavement sections into 4 clusters considering AADT(Annual Average Daily Traffic) and ESAL(Equivalent Single-Axle Load) using cluster analysis and used the deterioration models in each cluster. Increased user costs due to pavement deterioration as time goes by and agent costs for maintenance were estimated. Based on deterioration model and KoPMS software, Methodology for benefit evaluation was proposed in pavement maintenance methods and with/without implementation using real pavement section data. RESULTS : This study verified that considering agent costs only would be constrained to decide pavement maintenance methods and timings, and ascertained that decision making with agent and user costs would be effective. In addition, this study revealed that pavement maintenance methods and timings can be affected by AADT and ESAL and frequent pavement maintenances can be more efficient for benefits in pavement sections with more AADT and ESAL. Also this study found that user costs would be more affected to decision making than agent costs. Moreover, Delay of conducting pavement maintenance caused increased vehicle operating costs and environmental costs because of poor conditions of pavements. CONCLUSIONS : This study proposed LCCA and benefit estimation methodology of pavement with considering agent and user costs. The results of this study can be used for baseline data of efficient pavement asset management.

모듈 단위 열화조건을 고려한 자동차용 칵핏 모듈 이음(BSR Noise)에 대한 시험적 고찰 (Experimental Study of being vehicle cockpit module BSR Noise considering the deterioration condition of the module unit)

  • In this paper, in order to impart the aging condition of the parts, by configuring the cycle of temperature from low temperature was performed by applying the aging conditions for vehicle cockpit module. The reason for the selected modules of the cockpit vehicle parts, because the joint occurrence typical components of the room component is a first module and ceiling cockpit module. After setting the excitation profile using the BSR exciter only that this is for the module degradation after the initial and grasp the change in the dynamic characteristics of the modules based on the before and after deterioration may be made in the module, grasp the noise generating position I measured the noise and proximity. Was also visualized on the position of the joint is generated using a sound camera to objective results occurring where the joint is selected through subjective evaluation.

종이 기록물 보수용 안전 테이프의 열화 안정성 연구(I) (수입 및 국내 시제품 물리 화학적 특성 비교) (The Stability of Heat Deterioration of Pressure Sensitive Tapes for Repairing Documents(I) (Physiochemical Characteristics of Imported or Manufactured Tapes Repairing Documents))

  • The physicochemical characteristics, adhesion power, and conservation of imported tapes repairing documents that consisted of adhesive, carrier, and masking were investigated. Materials related to pressure sensitive adhesive produced in domestic companies were examined also. And then, the performance evaluation of prototype manufactured in our laboratory was undertaken. Both the pressure sensitive tapes were compared. The polyacrylate of adhesive agents such as polyacrylate, starch, Glue, and PVA of imported tapes was best. The adhesion strength, power, reversibility, and stability (deterioration) of imported tapes were analyzed. By comparing results of imported tapes, two adhesive agents were selected finally. The carriers of imported tapes are made of one of papers, cotton sheets, and felts. Major carrier material was a paper. The jutes, conifers, and hardwoods were main ingredient of papers. The durability of Hangi($18{\pm}2g/m^2$) was one and half times superior to imported one.

휴대용 보일러튜브 건전성 평가시스템 개발 (Development of Portable Boiler Tube Health Evaluation System)

  • Although the proportion of coal-fired power generation is decreasing, efficient operating technology is needed to continuously invest in facilities and reduce maintenance costs until it is abolished. Boilers, one of the main facilities of power plants, operate for a long time in harsh environments of high temperature and high pressure. In addition, damage due to deterioration is likely to occur depending on the fuel and tube material used. It is very important to judge soundness because damage caused by deterioration adversely affects facility operation. Previously, replication method was used to analyze the progress of deterioration. In the replication method, pre-treatment such as chemical treatment is performed on the boiler tube in the field, the area is reproduced by attaching a film, and the replicated film is determined by an expert in the laboratory with an expensive microscope. However, this method involves substantial costs and time requirements, as well as the possibility of human errors. To address these issues, we developed a mobile health assessment system in this research. Since it is detachable and takes images in real time, this system enables swift evaluations across a broad range and facilitates the assessment of preprocessing quality. In addition, it was intended to reduce existing human mistakes by developing a degradation classification algorithm using the merger cluster method.
