This work shows how to create an algorithm and implementation for motion and image matching between a vehicle simulator and Unity 3D based virtual object. The motion information of the virtual vehicle is transmitted to the real simulator via a RS232 communication protocol, and the motion is controlled based on the inverse kinematics solution of the platform adopting rotary-type six actuators driving system. Wash-out filters to implement the effective motion of the motion platform are adopted, and thereby reduce the dizziness and increase the realistic sense of motion. Furthermore, the simulator system is successfully designed aiming to reducing size and cost with adaptation of rotary-type six actuators, real driving environment via VR (Virtual Reality), and control schemes which employ a synchronization between 6 motors and 3rd order motion profiles. By providing relatively big sense of motion particularly in impact and straight motions mainly causing simulator sickness, dizziness is remarkably reduced, thereby enhancing the sense of realistic motion.

This study is on the aesthetic characteristics of Balenciaga design succeeded to by Nicolas Ghesquiere, and tried to understand his pursuing brand's new design concept and aesthetics. The three key characteristics of Balenciaga designed by Nicolas Ghesquiere are Retrospecitvness, Eclecticism, Deconstruciton. First, Balenciaga looks retrospective sense through reinterpreting tradition. Nicolas created a new sense of expression by mixing his proper instinct with Balenciaga's original properties, historical components of the past western dress, and various design elements of assistants who used to work in Balenciaga. Second, Balenciaga expresses uncertain meaning by compromising between contrast and synthesis among the past and the future, the males and the females, simple and ornament, or different styles. Third, Nicolas's experimental and outsider-oriented view of Deconstruction through reorienting of thought is considered a try for a new formative concept as a designer who is not limited by general rules.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs) require collision avoidance capabilities equivalent to the capabilities of manned aircraft to enter the airspace of manned aircraft. In the case of Visual Flight Rules of manned aircraft, collision avoidance is performed by 'See-and-Avoid' of pilots. To obtain those capabilities of UAVs named as 'Sense-and-Avoid', sensor-system-based intruder tracking and collision avoidance methods are required. In this study, a multi-sensor-based tracking, data fusion, and collision avoidance algorithm is designed by using a model-based design tool MATLAB/SIMULINK, and validations of the designed model and code using numerical simulations and processor-in-the-loop simulations are performed.

Uniform is getting increased importance as one of the symbols which represent the characteristics of company as well as gives good impression to the customers. Uniform shows the kinds of companies and forms of jobs and it makes the people who is putting on the uniform feel the sense of unity a security of one's position and the companion-ship and also it gives him a sense of responsi-bility and elevates the efficiency of tasks. It is required to be designed for a uniformity and it can contribute in the increase of work ef-ficiency and help the company get the good results of the management by inspiring the workers with conceit and belongingnesses. The purpose of this study is as the followings 1) Through the practical survey we analyze workers' staffs' and consumers' preference of uniform design 2) We analyze the fashion trend for 97/98 A./W 3) We present each uniform design for seven different types of company on the basis of 1) (design preference) and 2)(fashion trends).

현재 디자인 분야에서는 감성에 관한 강한 필요성을 바탕으로 오감각과 인간의 의식 속에 잠재되어 있는 감성적 요소를 디자인에 반영하려고 노력하고 있다. 그러나 그러한 감성적 의미를 표현하기 위한 체계적인 연구에는 아직 미흡한 점이 많으며, 특히 오감각 중 시각적 요소를 중심으로 한 디자인반영과 한정된 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 한계점을 극복하고 새로운 디자인과 감성적 이미지를 표현하기 위해서는 타 감각적 요소에 대한 깊이 있는 연구와 디자인에 접목시킬 수 있는 실증적 대안이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 그러한 감성 이미지를 표현하기 위한 감각요소 중 촉각적 요소를 중심으로 연구를 진행하였으며, 현대인의 소비 행태에 있어서, 감성적 디자인 요소로서 촉각적 요인과 밀접하게 관련된 핸들 커버와 음료병 제품의 재질, Grip감, 형태 등이 선호요인으로 작용하는 정도를 알아보았다. 동시에 두 제품군의 각각 선호도와 제품의 촉각적 특성 관계를 비교한 결과 기능적 특성과 원인에 따라 디자인의 촉각적 선호요인의 차이를 보였고, 이는 디자인 시제품 카테고리별 선호 촉감 요소의 차별적 반영이 필요함을 알 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to analyse on the clothing practice of automaker's uniform and to investigate the relationship between wearing sense of worker's uniform and overall comfort according to working environment and working types. The data were collected from 184 automakers using questionnaire and interview of a officer for uniform management. Working environment was relatively comfortable, but the worker in special working area needed to control the working environment and adopted the protective equipment. The dissatisfaction of clothing practice of uniform was shown high in design and material. The order of preference in the color was blue, navy, blue, gray, green. In case of taking care of uniform, sewing durability and shape stability were poor in comparison with washing easiness. The correlation between overall comfort and wearing sense of uniform as sense of wearing and taking off, texture and movement function, was relatively high, but it appeared the low correlation in physiological comfort.

Wiener Werkstaette(workshop) established in 1903 was an artistic handicraft working group, the central figure of which was an architecture, J. Hoffman. Especially its textile design part established in 1910 produced good results. The textile design part of Wiener Werkstaette took total artwork (Gesamtkunstwerke), which Pursued artistic work in all visual parts of life, as a central concept of their work and tried to insert the artistic creativity into the textile design. Regarding the influence relationship between Wiener Werkstaette textile design and formative art, it was influenced by the geometric tendency of C.R. Mackintosh and the style and motive of Japanese art. From 1910's, bright, vivid and cheerful designs were mass-produced by uniquely using various motives, techniques and colors. The formative significance of Wiener Werkstaette textile design are as follows. Firstly, the pattern includes both rational and sensual elements. Secondly, the aesthetic patterns of Wiener Werkstaette include formative elements anticipating the modernism. The leading artistic sense like this played role of catalyzer through which the golden age of artistic decoration, art deco, came. The significance of the textile was made aware through clothes design . The clothes design made with Wiener Werkstaette textile conveyed message as art to everyone and provided the elite of society supporting them with Proud that they are fashion leader ahead of times and have artistic sense. Wiener Werkstaette textile design like this played big role as an instrument for realizing the total artwork by attaining the new artistic formative fruits.

본 논문은 도시 공공공간, 조명 디자인과 장소성과의 관련성에 의거하여, 도시 디자인에서 장소성을 표현하는 도시 조명디자인의 유형을 분류하고 유형별 특성을 파악하는데 그 목적이 있다. 우선 선행 연구고찰을 토대로, 공공공간의 조명디자인의 장소성 평가를 위한 6개 디자인 평가요소를 추출하였고, 12개의 우수 조명 디자인 사례에 대해 분석하였다. 연구결과 12개 사례에 대해 기본형, 은유플롯형, 인터랙티브형, 미디어 복합형 등의 4개 유형으로 공공공간 조명디자인을 분류하였고 각 유형별로 주도적인 디자인 평가요소와 그 특성을 파악하였다. 연구 결과로는, 첫째, 기능성, 지속 가능성, 심미성은 도시 공공공간 조명을 통한 장소성을 실현시키는 기본적 요소라고 할 수 있다. 둘째, "은유 플롯형"에 속한 사례는 6가지이며, 이 유형의 사례는 특정 지역에 대한 테마 즉 스토리텔링의 발굴이기 때문에, 조명 디자인에서도 뚜렷하고 명확한 지역 정체성을 형성할 수 있다. 셋째, "인터랙티브형"과 "미디어복합형"은, 새로운 매개 기술 및 최첨단의 조명 방식이 개입되었기 때문에, 도시 조명디자인의 의미와 외연이 광범위하게 확장되었다고 할 수 있다. 연구 결과를 통하여 도시 공공공간의 조명디자인의 유형과 특성을 파악하여 장소성을 강화하고 도시 이미지를 향상시킬 수 있는 도시 공공공간의 조명디자인 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

본 연구는 사이버학습환경에서 학급공동체의식과 사회적 실재감이 학습만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 D광역시 M초등학교 6학년 사이버가정학습 학습자 172명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 데이터를 수집하였으며 학급공동체의식, 사회적 실재감과 학습만족도와의 관계를 알아보기 위해 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 학급공동체의식과 사회적 실재감, 학습만족도 간에는 의의 있는 상관관계가 나타났고, 학급공동체 의식이 학습만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 초등 사이버학습환경에서 학급공동체의식은 학습자의 학습만족도 향상을 위해 중요하게 고려해야 할 변인임을 시사한다. 이에 향후 사이버학습환경을 구성할 때 학급공동체의식을 높이기 위한 교수설계 전략이 요구된다.

감지 증폭기는 메모리 설계에 필수적인 주변 회로로서, 작은 차동 입력 신호를 감지하여 디지털 신호로 증폭하기 위해 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 인 메모리 컴퓨팅 회로에서 활용 가능한 고속 감지 증폭기를 제안하였다. 제안하는 회로는 추가적인 방전 경로를 제공하는 트랜지스터 Mtail을 통해 감지 지연 시간을 감소시키고, m-GDI(:modified Gate Diffusion Input)를 적용하여 감지 증폭기의 회로 성능을 개선하였다. 기존 구조와 비교했을 때 감지 지연 시간은 16.82% 감소하였으며, PDP(: Power Delay Product)는 17.23%, EDP(: Energy Delay Product)은 31.1%가 감소하는 결과를 보였다. 제안하는 회로는 TSMC의 65nm CMOS 공정을 사용하여 구현하였으며 SPECTRE 시뮬레이션을 통해 본 연구의 타당성을 검증하였다.
