친환경 실내건축 연구 성향에 관한 조사 분석 연구 (A Basic Survey Study on the Research Tendency for Green Interior Architecture)

  • Including interior architecture, diverse fields of study for eco-friendly environment is in progress due to the world's crisis consciousness of global environment. And nevertheless, practical use of the research results are still low and systematical problems of the studies are inevitable reality. Thus, this study focused on to the enbodiment of green interior architecture study understanding the problems of precedence studies to make suggestion for the future direction and balancing green interior architecture study seeking for better motivation. Analysing results of the precedent studies indicates that the existing studies loss its diversity and concentrated in the narrow based directions. For the enbodiment of green interior architecture, not simply immerse existing planning method found from case study, the study need to perform in overall areas of green interior architecture and diversify its direction. Besides space designer, user's consciousness are also important results to form a new paradigm of eco-friendly environment. For the applications and use of the study results as the design factor in green interior architecture, first and the most important stept is to innovate attitude towards the nature and shift of consciousness through education as well as the relative studies of design and planning realm to drive both technical, and non-technical design factors are highly demanded.

Vibration control of high-rise buildings for wind: a robust passive and active tuned mass damper

  • Tuned mass dampers (TMDs) have been installed in many high-rise buildings, to improve their resiliency under dynamic loads. However, high-rise buildings may experience natural frequency changes under ambient temperature fluctuations, extreme wind loads and relative humidity variations. This makes the design of a TMD challenging and may lead to a detuned scenario, which can reduce significantly the performance. To alleviate this problem, the current paper presents a proposed approach for the design of a robust and efficient TMD. The approach accounts for the uncertain natural frequency, the optimization objective and the input excitation. The study shows that robust design parameters can be different from the optimal parameters. Nevertheless, predetermined optimal parameters are useful to attain design robustness. A case study of a high-rise building is executed. The TMD designed with the proposed approach showed its robustness and effectiveness in reducing the responses of high-rise buildings under multidirectional wind. The case study represents an engineered design that is instructive. The results show that shear buildings may be controlled with less effort than cantilever buildings. Structural control performance in high-rise buildings may depend on the shape of the building, hence the flow patterns, as well as the wind direction angle. To further increase the performance of the robust TMD in one lateral direction, active control using LQG and fuzzy logic controllers was carried out. The performance of the controllers is remarkable in enhancing the response reduction. In addition, the fuzzy logic controller may be more robust than the LQG controller.

환경부하 저감을 위한 기후순응주거 사례연구 (A Case Study on the Acclimatization's Housing for Environmental Load Reduction)

  • The concept of sustainable development to preserve natural environment through economy in resources and energy is gradually distinguished since environmental problems as a series of air pollution and global warming take place now. Building occupies more than 1/3 of energy consumption in the whole world. Energy consumption of buildings caused a quick increase in the amount of energy use by air conditioning, which has a lot of effects on exhaustion of fossil energy as well as an increase in environmental load. Therefore, this research intends to suggest characteristics and direction for the designing of acclimatization's housing through the case study on acclimatization's housing. Acclimatization's housing is designed to reduce building load from the designing stage unlike green home or low-energy apartment. Also, factors which are commonly applied to acclimatization's housing are applied complexly by design strategic factors of Heating, Cooling and Lighting. The applied design factors make effects mutually and complexly. In addition, design strategy showed different priority by designing direction.

천음속 날개꼴의 Multi-point 수치최적화 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study of Multi-point Numerical Optimization Design for Transonic Airfoils)

  • 천음속 날개꼴의 수치최적화 설계에 있어서, 하나의 흐름조건에 의해 설계된 날개꼴의 공력특성은 다른 흐름조건에서 나쁜 특성을 나타낼 수 있다. 따라서, 실용적인 날개꼴의 설계를 위해서 multi-point 수치최적화 설계능력은 필수적인 요소이다. 본 논문에서는 Navier-Stokes 방정식 흐름해석 코드와 feasible direction 최적화 알고리즘을 이용하여 two-point 수치최적화 설계를 수행하였으며, 가중치가 수치최적화 설계에 주는 영향을 분석하고 비교하였다. 그 결과로서 two-point수치최적화 설계된 날개꼴이 두 흐름조건의 주변영역에서 동시에 요구 공력특성을 만족시키며, 가중치가 큰 방향으로 최적화 설계됨을 확인하였다.

복합 다단 기어장치 메커니즘의 생성 및 초기설계 (Generation and Preliminary Design of Compound Multi-Stage Gear Drive Mechanisms)

  • In recent years, the need for multi-stage gear drives, which highly reduce output speed, has been increased. However, the design of multi-stage gear drives have been carried out by a limited number of experts. The consideration for the direction of input and output axes also makes their design very difficult. The purpose of this study is to develop an algorithm for automatically generating complex multi-stage gear drives and to implement a design supporting system for multi-stage gear drives. There are 4 stages in the proposed algorithm, and major design parameters,.such as the direction of input and output axes, reduction ratio, etc. are set up in the first stage. In the second stage, all mechanisms are generated, and various rules are applied to select feasible mechanisms. In the third stage, the gear ratio of each stage is divided from total gear ratio. Next, the specifications of gears for feasible mechanisms are calculated and their bending strength and surface durability are estimated. In the forth stage, appraised indexes are calculated and provided to support the estimation of the generated gear drives.

근접장 광기록 시스템용 전자기구동 액추에이터의 설계 및 평가 (Design and Evaluation of An Electromagnetic Driven Actuator for Near-field Optical Recording System)

  • Combination of magnetic recording technology and optical recording technology such as Near Field Optical Recording is watched recently. In order to accomplish this technology, the development of an electromagnetic driven mm-sized mirror shifting laser beam in track direction have to needed. In Near Field Optical Recording System, shifting laser beam in track direction mean as fine tracking and means as coarse tracking. Therefore in Near Field Optical Recording, 2-stage actuator is composed of servo controller in reading or recording information on disc layer. In our research, through design and simulation process of driven mm-sized mirror, we arrange systematically design process of driven mm-sized mirror having good frequency transfer characteristics. Design and simulation processes included modal analysis of spring, calculation of magnetic moment according to the number of turns and geometric configuration of coil and magnetic circuit analysis meaning that calculation of magnetic flux density in air gap of magnetic circuit. After that we design and make parts of driven mm-sized mirror, assemble and evaluate our electriomagnetic driven mm-sized mirror. we compared design values with actual characteristic values and present solution scheme. Through these processes we performed manufacturing of an electromagnetic driven mm-sized mirror having good frequency-domain characteristics and high sensitivity characteristics.

마찰계수와 재료강도를 고려한 PSC 박스 거더교의 최적설계 (The Optimum Design for PSC Box Girder Bridges Considering Friction Coefficient and Material Strength)

  • 본 연구는 FSM 공법의 PSC 박스 거더교를 최소경비로 자동 설계하는 최적설계 프로그램을 이용하여 곡률마찰계수와 파상마에 대한 적정한 긴장재의 종류를 찾아내고 향후 긴장재의 연구 개발 방향을 제시하였으며, 사용되는 재료의 강도증진에 대한 연구방향을 제시하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 사용된 최적설계 프로그램은 축차 무제약 최소화 기법을 이용하였고, 설계과정에서 설계점들이 설계가능 영역밖에 있는 것을 허용할 수 있도록 Kavlie가 제안한 확장 벌칙함수를 도입하였다. 또한 설계점들의 탐사 방법은 Powel's direct search method를 사용하며, 설계시간을 단축시키기 위해 설계점 변화에 따른 단면력 변화를 Gradient를 이용하여 근사화 시키는 방법을 사용하였다.

서비스 디자인을 위한 사용자 조사 도구의 디지털화에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Digitalization of User Research Tool for Service Design)

  • As service design becomes more common, various user research methods and tools such as cultural probes and contextual inquiry are being used to grasp the user's experience and needs. These methodologies have the advantage of being able to derive various insights through direct observation and investigation, but have disadvantages in that problems such as time and space constraints, cost occurrence, and delay in the service development process may occur. In addition, it is difficult to conduct actual observations, face-to-face investigations, and interviews due to COVID-19, which has recently spread rapidly around the world. Accordingly, prior to the digitization of cultural probes, I would like to suggest the direction of digital tools. First, after grasping the concept of service design and user research through literature research, the necessity of user research in service design was confirmed. After that, the necessity of digitalizing user research was confirmed by extracting functional elements that could be understood and digitalized about the cultural probes methodology, and analyzing previous studies using existing mobile-based survey techniques. Finally, we confirmed the direction of digital tools through user interviews through cultural probes.

On Design of Visual Servoing using an Uncalibrated Camera in 3D Space

  • In this paper we deal with visual servoing that can control a robot arm with a camera using information of images only, without estimating 3D position and rotation of the robot arm. Here it is assumed that the robot arm is calibrated and the camera is uncalibrated. We use a pinhole camera model as the camera one. The essential notion can be show, that is, epipolar geometry, epipole, epipolar equation, and epipolar constrain. These play an important role in designing visual servoing. For easy understanding of the proposed method we first show a design in case of the calibrated camera. The design is constructed by 4 steps and the directional motion of the robot arm is fixed only to a constant direction. This means that an estimated epipole denotes the direction, to which the robot arm translates in 3D space, on the image plane.
