We have carried out the test using the cone calorimeter and the smoke density chamber to evaluate the characteristics of the combustion for the car interior materials passed horizontal burning test. We have analysed many parameters related to fire hazard. These parameters are the ignition time, the heat release rate, the maximum average rate of heat emission, the flashover propensity and specific optical density. There was a significant difference in HRR and optical smoke density. The HRR was $185{\sim}446kW/m^2$ and optical smoke density was $119{\sim}1207$. Only horizontal burning test was performed to evaluate the fire hazard for the car interior materials.

Recently, a new seismic probe, called "MudFork", has been developed and can be utilized for accurate and easy measurements of shear wave velocities of soft soils. To expand its use to estimate undrained shear strength and density, correlations between those and shear wave velocity were being attempted. Cone penetration tests and a seismic test, using MudFork, were performed at a soft ground site near Incheon, Korea. Also, undisturbed samples were obtained and shear wave velocities of the samples were measured as well as undrained shear strength, using triaxial compression test and bender elements. A simple linear relationship between shear strength and shear wave velocity was obtained, and a tentative relationship between density and shear wave velocity was also defined.

In this study, the density of KS L 5110 was compared with that of gas pycnometer and electronic densimeter for efficient density management of cement, blast furnace slag powder and fly ash. Correlation and usability according to the test method were reviewed, and based on the results of the experiment, the availability of alternative test methods was analyzed. As a result of the density test according to test methods, the density of cement, blast furnace slag powder and fly ash tended to decrease in the order of gas pycnometer, KS L 5110 and electronic densimeter. Because the volume range of the sample to be evaluated is different depending on test methods. The coefficient of determination R2 was in the range of 0.71 to 0.93, and the correlation according to test methods showed a relatively good correlation. If correction is applied through correlation, it is analyzed that alternative test methods can be used. As a result of the usability review considering the test procedure, measurement time and coefficient of variation, the gas pycnometer had the simplest test procedure and good reliability. In addition, it is expected that the reproducibility between the testers is relatively high because the skill is not greatly required.

In this study we reported the Smoke Density values of interior materials of railroad passenger car and investigated the specific smoke density(Ds) by NBS smoke chamber to the variance of some test conditions. First we compared the result of Ds from ISO 5659-2 with that from ASTM E 662 for same material. Secondary studied the Ds value to the variance of specimen shape and thickness and to the variance of other conditions.
Computerized image processing and analysis system was used for quantitative assessment of skin tissue components in color histological sections. The purpose of this study was to determine that the changes in the collagen fiber density and elastic fiber density in dermis in the rat skin as aging. And also to determine that the correlation between fibroblast density and collagen fiber density and elastic fiber density in the aged rat skin. Ten weeks old ($130{\sim}150g$) eight and fifty-four weeks old ($300{\sim}350g$) eight female Sprague-Dawley rats were used. The full-thickness skin biopsy specimens were prepared serial sections and stained with hematoxylin and eosin, Masson's trichrome and Verhoeff-van Gieson. The collagen fiber and the elastic fiber were identified using the image analysis processing system and then calculated the collagen fiber density rate and the elastic fiber density rate in the dermis. It also identified fibroblast and calculated fibroblast density in the dermis. By using a Student's t-test, a decrease in the collagen fiber density rate (t=-4.650, P<0.001) and the elastic fiber density rate (t=-6.494, P<0.001) of dermis can be observed in aged rats as compared with the young rats. A Student's t-test showed a significantly less fibroblast density in the aged rats than the young rats (t=-4.497, P<0.001). There were significantly positive correlation between the fibroblast density and the collagen fiber density rate (r=.69, P<0.001) and the elastic fiber density rate (r=.91, P<0.001). These results indicate that the aging may decrease the collagen fiber density and elastic fiber density due to reduced the proliferative and synthetic activity of fibroblast in the dermis.
Ark shell Scapharca broughtonii length and total weight growth by density, which was hanging-cultured near the sea area of Yeosu-city, Hoenggan-island (below is Yeosu), showed inverse correlation with density. As for the average growth of shell length by density, the test area of 10 shells showed the best result as 5.21 mm, and it became lower as density became higher. Also, the increase of total weight by density showed the same result, thus on the whole, the increase of average shell length and total weight of 10-20 shell test area showed the better result than the test area of 30-40 shells. In addition, even if the parashell's shell length by density and total weight growth in the sea area of Namhae-gun, Mijo-fishing port (below is Namhae) showed inverse correlation with density, it showed the slighter inverse correlation than the sea area of Yeosu. As for the average growth of shell length by density, the test area of 10 shells showed the best result as 4.55mm, but the average growth of shell length by density in the test area of 20-40 shells appeared to be similar as 3.11, 3.36 and 3.27 mm. On the other hand, as for the increase of total weight by density, the test area of 10-20 shells showed the more increase than the test area of 30-40 shells. In conclusion, it is guessed that the culture density of 20 shells/$0.12m^2$ (166 shells / $1m^2$) would be appropriate when hanging-culturing the shells. At the sea area of A, the survival rate of Scapharca broughtonii parashell was 68-87% by density respectively, and it showed the density-dependent result, while the survival rate of sea area of Namhae, where phytoplankton as prey is abundant, showed the much better result as 91-100%. It is guessed that this may be due to the fact that the quantity of phytoplankton in sea area of Yeosu is just 55.89% of sea area of Namhae. When hanging-culturing the shells, the water temperature by sea area ranged from 16.22 to $25.66^{\circ}C$, salinity 30.07-33.48, pH 8.10-8.45, and DO 4.49-9.65 mg/L.
The dislocation density in strain-hardened Alloy 690 was analyzed using scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) to study the relationship between the local plastic strain and susceptibility to primary water stress corrosion cracking (PWSCC) in nuclear power plants. The test material was cold-rolled at various thickness reduction ratios from 10% to 40% to simulate the strain-hardening condition of plant components. The dislocation densities were measured at grain boundaries (GB) and in grain interiors of strain-hardened specimens from STEM images. The dislocation density in the grain interior monotonically increased as the strain-hardening proceeded, while the dislocation density at the GB increased with strain-hardening up to 20% but slightly decreases upon further deformation to 40%. The decreased dislocation density at the GB was attributed to the formation of deformation twins. After the PWSCC growth test of strain-hardened Alloy 690, the fraction of intergranular (IG) fracture was obtained from fractography. In contrast to the change in the dislocation density with strain-hardening, the fraction of IG fracture increased remarkably when strain-hardened over 20%. From the results, it was suggested that the PWSCC growth behavior of strain-hardened Alloy 690 not only depends on the dislocation density, but also on the microstructural defects at the GB.
To obtain site-specific values of the Derived Concentration Guideline Levels (DCGLs) for decommissioning of KRR-1&2, the soil density and distribution coefficient values for Cs-137, a major contaminant radionuclide, were determined. The soil density was evaluated according to the test method established by the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (KATS). The distribution coefficient was evaluated using a batch test. The validity of using the evaluated soil density and distribution coefficient as site-specific values was assessed through radiation dose assessment reflecting these values. Average soil density value obtained was 1.738 g/cm3, which was within the typical range of normal soil density, 1.0-1.8 g/cm3. The average distribution coefficient value was 7,754 mL/g. Applying the maximum, average, and minimum values of the evaluated soil density and distribution coefficient showed similar radiation dose results, thus suggesting that it is reasonable to use the average values of each parameter as site-specific values. Findings of this study can help determine DCGLs that reflect the characteristics of the research reactor site.
As the density of memories increases, unwanted interference between cells and the coupling noise between bit-lines become significant, requiring parallel testing. Testing high-density memories for a high degree of fault coverage requires either a relatively large number of test vectors or a significant amount of additional test circuitry. This paper proposes a new tiling method and an efficient built-in self-test (BIST) algorithm for neighborhood pattern-sensitive faults (NPSFs) and new neighborhood bit-line sensitive faults (NBLSFs). Instead of the conventional five-cell and nine-cell physical neighborhood layouts to test memory cells, a four-cell layout is utilized. This four-cell layout needs smaller test vectors, provides easier hardware implementation, and is more appropriate for both NPSFs and NBLSFs detection. A CMOS column decoder and the parallel comparator proposed by P. Mazumder are modified to implement the test procedure. Consequently, these reduce the number of transistors used for a BIST circuit. Also, we present algorithm properties such as the capability to detect stuck-at faults, transition faults, conventional pattern-sensitive faults, and neighborhood bit-line sensitive faults.

As an increase of chip complexity and level of chip integration, chip input/output (I/O) pad pitches are also drastically reduced. With arrival of high complexity SoC (System on Chip) and SiP (System in Package) products, conventional horizontal type probe card showed its limitation on probing density for wafer level test. To enhance probing density, we proposed new vertical type probe card that has the $70{\mu}m$ probe needle with tungsten wire in $80{\mu}m$ micro-drilled hole in ceramic board. To minimize alignment error, micro-drilling conditions are optimized and epoxy-hardening conditions are also optimized to minimize planarity changes. To apply wafer level test for target devices (T5365 256M SDRAM), designed probe card was characterized by probe needle tension for test, contact resistance measurement, leakage current measurement and the planarity test. Compare to conventional probe card with minimum pitch of $50{\sim}125{\mu}m\;and\;2\;{\Omega}$ of average contact resistance, designed probe card showed only $22{\mu}$ of minimum pitch and $1.5{\Omega}$ of average contact resistance. And also, with the nature of vertical probing style, it showed comparably small contact scratch and it can be applied to bumping type chip test.
