In this paper, the limit behavior of solution for the $Schr{\ddot{o}}dinger$ equation with random dispersion and time-dependent nonlinear loss/gain: $idu+{\frac{1}{{\varepsilon}}}m({\frac{t}{{\varepsilon}^2}}){\partial}_{xx}udt+{\mid}u{\mid}^{2{\sigma}}udt+i{\varepsilon}a(t){\mid}u{\mid}^{2{\sigma}_0}udt=0$ is studied. Combining stochastic Strichartz-type estimates with $L^2$ norm estimates, we first derive the global existence for $L^2$ and $H^1$ solution of the stochastic $Schr{\ddot{o}}dinger$ equation with white noise dispersion and time-dependent loss/gain: $idu+{\Delta}u{\circ}d{\beta}+{\mid}u{\mid}^{2{\sigma}}udt+ia(t){\mid}u{\mid}^{2{\sigma}_0}udt=0$. Secondly, we prove rigorously the global diffusion-approximation limit of the solution for the former as ${\varepsilon}{\rightarrow}0$ in one-dimensional $L^2$ subcritical and critical cases.
Sn-filled $Co_8Sb_{24}$ skutterudites were synthesized by the encapsulated induction melting process. Single ${\delta}-phase$ was successfully obtained by subsequent annealing and confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. Temperature dependences of Seebeck coefficient, electrical resistivity and thermal conductivity were examined from 300 K to 700 K. The positive Seebeck coefficient confirmed the p-type conductivity of the Sn-filled $Co_8Sb_{24}$. Electrical resistivity increased with increasing temperature, which shows that the Sn-filled $Co_8Sb_{24}$ skutterudite is a highly degenerate semiconductor. Thermal conductivity was reduced by Sn-filling because the filler atoms acted as phonon scattering centers in the skutterudite lattice. Thermoelectric figure of merit was enhanced by Sn filling and its optimum filling content was considered to be $z{\leq}0.5$ in the $Sn_zCo_8Sb_{24}$ system.
The corrosion fatigue fracture behaviour of dual phase steel was investigated in 3% NaCl solution at 302MPa and 137MPa. Fatigue test was conducted by cantilever type of self-made rotary bending fatigue testing machine. The fatigue strength increased with increasing the hardness of 2nd phase. Corrosion pit originated at the boundary of the 2nd phase. The size and number of corrosion pits were influenced by the 2nd phase hardness, and pits remained constant in size just after they were transited into cracks. The life of crack initiation was effected by stress level. The shape of relation of .DELTA. K and da/dN has smaller scattering in it in 3% NaCl solution than that in air. The higher the 2nd phase hardness is, the greater the corrosion fatigue life becomes. Corrosion fatigue fracture behaviour was primarily effected by mechanical factor in case of high stress(302MPa), but by electro-chemical reaction in a lower stress(137MPa). As stress level got lower and hardness of the 2nd phase got higher, the roughness of fracture surface increased.

The separation and capture process of carbon dioxide from power plants is garnering interest as a method to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In this study, aqueous alkanolamine solutions were studied as absorbents for $CO_2$ capture. The solubility of $CO_2$ in aqueous alkanolamine solutions was investigated with a continuous stirred reactor at 313, 333 and 353 K. Also, the heat of absorption ($-{\Delta}H_{abs}$) between the absorbent and $CO_2$ molecules was measured with a differential reaction calorimeter (DRC) at 298 K. The solubility and heat of absorption were determined at slightly higher than atmospheric pressure. The enthalpies of $CO_2$ absorption in monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), triethanolamine (TEA), and 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP) were 88.91, 70.44, 44.72, and 63.95, respectively. This investigation showed that the heat of absorption is directly related to the quantity of heat for absorbent regeneration, and is dependent on amine type and $CO_2$ loading.
Interactions such as mergers and flybys play a fundamental role in shaping galaxy morphology. We used the Horizon Run 4 cosmological N-body simulations to study the frequency and the type of halo interactions as a function of the environment, the separation p, the mass ratio q, and the target halo mass. We defined targets as haloes more massive than 10^11 Msun/h, and a target is interacting if it is located within the virial radius of a neighbour halo more massive than 0.4 times the target mass. We find that the interaction rate as a function of time has a universal shape for different halo mass and large-scale density, with an increase and saturation. Larger density yield steeper slopes and larger final interaction rates, while larger masses saturate later. Most interactions happen at large-scale density contrast ${\delta}$ about 10^3, regardless of the redshift. We also report the existence of two modes of interactions in the (p,q) plane, reflecting the nature (satellite or main halo) of the target halo. These two trends strongly evolve with redshift, target mass, and large-scale density. Interacting pairs have similar spins parameters and aligned spins, with radial trajectories, and prograde encounters for non-radial trajectories. The satellite trajectories become less and less radial as time proceed. This effect is stronger for higher-mass target, but independent of the large-scale density.
Rheological properties of waxy barley flour (WBF) dispersions mixed with various gums (carboxyl methyl celluleose, guar gum, gum arabic, konjac gum, locust bean gum, tara gum, and xanthan gum) at different gum concentrations were examined in steady and dynamic shear. WBF-gum mixture samples showed a clear trend of shear-thinning behavior and had a non-Newtonian nature with yield stress. Rheological tests indicated that the flow and dynamic rheological parameter (apparent viscosity, consistency index, yield stress, storage modulus, and loss modulus) values of WBF dispersions mixed with gums, except for gum arabic, were significantly higher than those of WBF with no gum, and also increased with an increase in gum concentration. In particular, konjac gum at 0.6% among other gums showed the highest rheological parameter values. Tan ${\delta}$ values of WBF-xanthan gum mixtures were lower than those of other gums, showing that there is a more pronounced synergistic effect on the elastic properties of WBF in the presence of xanthan gum. Such synergistic effect was hypothesized by considering thermodynamic compatibility between xanthan gum and WBF. These rheological results suggest that in the WBF-gum mixture systems, the addition of gums modified the flow and viscoelastic properties of WBF, and that these modifications were dependent on the type of gum and gum concentration.
In this paper, we have improved a novel (ECB) mode using tilt angle in the unique condition by hot-plate equipment. The new control of tilt angle for nematic liquid crystal (NLC) with negative and positive dielectric anisotropy on the rubbed homeotropic polyimide (PI) using baking method by Hot-plate equipment was investigated. LC tilt angle decreased with increasing baking temperature and time. Especially, the low LC tilt angle of positive type NLC $({\Delta}n>0)$ on the rubbed homeotropic PI surface by increasing temperature and time was measured. The EO characteristics of the novel ECB mode using control of tilt angle on the homeotropic surface than that of conventional OCB cell can be improved. We suggest that the developed the Novel ECB cell using control of tilt angle on the homeotropic surface is a promising technique for the achievement of a fast response time and a high contrast ratio.

1-D nanostructured materials have much more attention because of their outstanding properties and wide applicability in device fabrication. Bismuth oxide($Bi_2O_3$) is an important p-type semiconductor with main crystallographic polymorphs denoted by $\alpha-$, $\beta-$, $\gamma-$, and $\delta-Bi_2O_3$[1]. Due to its unique optical and electrical properties, $Bi_2O_3$ has been extensively investigated for various applications in gas sensors, photovoltaic cells, fuel cells, supercapacitors[2-4]. In this study, $Bi_2O_3$ NWs were grown by two step annealing process: in the first step, after annealing at $270^{\circ}C$ for 10h in a vaccum($3{\times}10^{-6}$ torr), we can obtain the bismuth nanowires. In the second step, after annealing at $300^{\circ}C$ for 2h in $O_2$ ambient, we successfully fabicated $Bi_2O_3$nanowires.

Fatigue tests were performed to investigate the effect of ceramic coatings as in TiN and TiCN on fatigue crack growth properties of ceramic coated 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V steel with different coating thickness in laboratory air conditions. The experimental results are described with respect to a Paris equation, da/dN=C(.DELTA.K)$^{m}$ , where the crack growth rate of coated specimens provided as similar growth rate as that of the uncoated specimen regardless of coating thickness. Furthermore, it was observed that the type of coating layer had virtually no effect on crack growth rate in the full region of stress intensity factor range. And it was also appeared that the final crack length of TiCN coated specimens was short compared to that of TiN coated, and the substrate specimens, in which it was inferred due to lowering the toughness of coated material from high hardness of TiCN coating layer itself.
