Convergence Service Design Using Delphi Technique : Financial Service Robot for Introduction to Bank Branches (Delphi를 활용한 융합 서비스 설계에 관한 연구 : 은행지점 도입용 금융 서비스 로봇 사례)

  • This study applies the Delphi method to design services with convergence characteristics in the financial sector. In designing a service robot for practical deployment that can support and replace bank teller, the opinions and judgments of various expert groups were extracted and a consensus process was made through feedback. A total of six dimensions and thirty service elements were derived over three rounds. Coefficient of Variation and content validity were used to verify the suitability and reliability of the selected service elements. As a result, the essential service element of robots was interaction with customers, followed by basic and professional financial services. Based on these service factors, we proposed two types of service models. support mode to assist employees during business hours and alternative mode on behalf of employees outside business hours. It is hoped that this study will use the Delphi technique in the design of IT convergence services.

  • Purpose: This study provides an overview of the Product Liability Act which was revised in 2017 and took effect in 2018. It analyzes the effects of the revised Act on corporate management from internal and external perspectives to present coping strategies so that companies can synthetically respond to such effects. Methods: In order to achieve the purpose of this study, experts like companies, academia, governmental institutions, and consultants were invited, and Delphi techniques were applied to derive means, standard deviations, and Content Validity Ratio. Results: In this study, based on two expert questionnaire surveys, strengths and weaknesses of the internal environment of companies and opportunities and threats of the external environment were derived, followed by provision of S/O, W/O, S/T, and W/T strategies. Conclusion: To fundamentally remove the causes of accidents on their products, the relevant companies should strengthen the activities to increase product safety. They shall cooperate with suppliers to arrange the measures to speedily secure safety of consumers.

Weighting of Acute Myocardial Infarction Quality Indicators using Delphi Method (델파이기법을 이용한 급성심근경색증 질 평가지표 가중치 부여)

  • Purpose: Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service (HIRA) launched an Acute Myocardial Infarction(AMI) assessment for the Payment For Performance(Quality Incentives) Pilot Project from July 2007. Assessment measures of AMI were composed of five process measures and one outcome measure, and each measure was incorporated into one composite quality score to Pay for Performance. Method: For calculation of composite quality score, we considered weighting for the measures using the Delphi method. The questionnaire was composed of three measure groups, 'Reperfusion rate'(Fibrolytic therapy received within 60 minutes of hospital arrival, Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention within 120 minutes of hospital arrival), 'Medication prescription rate'(Aspirin at arrival, Aspirin prescribed at discharge, Beta-blocker prescribed at discharge) and 'Survival Index'(30-day mortality rate). Result: A panel composed of 18 and completed a questionnaire by allocation of 10 scores to the three above mentioned measure groups. The Delphi was carried out until three rounds of surveys. In conclusion, each measure group was weighted differently and the 10 scores were allocated as 4.5 to 'Reperfusion rate', 2.5 to 'Medication prescription rate', and 3.0 to 'Survival Index'. Conclusion: The results of this study proposed the calculation method for weighting of Acute Myocardial Infarction quality indicators.

Delphi기법에 의한 기계공학기술과 다른 기술분야의 국제적 기술수준과 국제기술협력 가능성에 대한 비교연구

  • We provide a set of information on technologies to draw meaningful action plans for the inter- nationalization of National R&D activities. In this study, we employed a modified Delphi method to evaluate level od our technological capabilities and developed countries' as well. We investigated technology acquistion methodologies,technology characteristics and various aspects of international cooperation in terms of technology. Then we analyzed final responses of participants (i.e, the third round results of Delphi method) to see the correlation among various factors in developing tehnologies through international R&D cooperation. The technology classification used in this research was developed by STEPI (Science and Technology Policy Institute). In conclusion, levels of our technologies were investigated to be between the stage of imitating/absorbing advanced technologies and the stage of digesting acquired technologies. Especially, comparing with other technologies, mechanical engineering was evaluated to be almost near the stage of digesting acquired technology (the middle level stage of technology). Out overal technological capabilites were evaluated to be 40~60% of top level countries'.

Survey for Technology Forecasting for Crop Production using Delphi Method (경종작물분야의 델파이 기술예측조사)

  • The study was designed to forecast and derive future core technologies using Delphi method in Korea agriculture. Based on the technologies, agriculture in Korea will be expected to improve as a core and strategic industry producing high value added in 21 century. Questions were given to specialists by each technology in order to survey importance, realization time, level of R&D in Korea and the leading country, leading group of R&D, effective policy, etc. for each technology. The survey for Delphi was confined to the specialists in the area of crop production. The 44 core technologies were derived and 39 specialists answered the survey.

  • This study has intended to elicit the definition of rural landscape, to classify rural landscape type, and to develop the evaluation indicators of rural landscape, meeting the definition through delphi expert survey method. The survey was performed five times for 80 days by 20 experts. The delphi expert survey asked experts as follows: 1) to fill out open-ended questions regarding the definition of rural landscape, and classification of rural landscape types, and evaluation indicators; 2) to provide their own feasibility evaluation regarding the results of the previous answer; and 3) to reevaluate the feasibility of the definition, types, and indicators. Based on the survey results, this study has found the appropriate definition of rural landscape like the comprehensive complex of physical (objective) and nonphysical (subjective) factors characterizing natural and/or artificial scenary of rural village itself Also, this study has developed the evaluation indicators of rural landscape in accordance with space types and landscape units classified. The developed indicators included areal ratio, the degree of green naturality, the building coverage ratio for physical landscape field, and skyline, landscape adjectives, color landscape, semantic scale.

Estimating the Disability Weight of Major Cancers in Korea Using Delphi Method (델파이법을 활용한 우리 나라 주요 암질환의 장애정도 가중치 추정)

  • Objectives : To estimate the weighting for the disability caused by major cancers in Korea using the Delphi method. Methods : We selected 19 panelists to estimate the disability weighting of major cancers in Korea by using the Delphi method. To select the relevant kinds of cancers, we used National Death Certificate Data produced by the National Statistical Office in 1996. Then the stability of each delphi round was calculated by using the coefficient of variance. Results : The disability weight of major cancers for males was pancreas cancer(0.36), liver cancer(0.35), esophageal cancer(0.30), stomach cancer(0.27), lung cancer(0.26), and colorectal cancer(0.30). The disability weight of major cancers fer females was pancreas cancer(0.36), liver cancer(0.34), esophageal cancer(0.29), stomach cancer(0.28), lung cancer(0.26), and colorecial cancer(0.28). Conclusion : The results of this study will provide baseline data useful for the measurement of the burden of disease caused by cancers in Korea.

Analysis of Promising Country for Seawater Desalination Plant Using Delphi Method (Delphi 기법을 이용한 해수담수화 플랜트 유망 국가 분석)

  • An index was developed for analyzing the promising countries for seawater desalination plant and related data sets were collected and analyzed. Each indicators was standardized by scale readjustment method and Delphi method was used to calculate the weights for indicators from questionnaire survey by experts in seawater desalination plant field. Twenty three indicators were selected and they were classified into three groups, economic, social, and environmental indicator groups. Eleven countries (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Iran, Qatar, China, Singapore, India, Algeria, Turkey, United States) were selected considering present data availability and index for each country was calculated. The results show United States and China took the first (0.537) and second (0.490) place for the most promising country for seawater desalination plant. However it will not be easy to play a significant role in the markets because of present seawater desalination technology level and national policy, etc. Saudi Arabia took the third (0.329) place and other countries which has more than 0.2 index value can be considered as a promising countries for seawater desalination plant. We can establish a strategy to export our seawater desalination technology and plant using the result of this study. The developed index can be applied to other countries, which were not included in this study, when their data is available.

  • Recently, many companies and organizations have interests in 'Business Process Management Systems (BPMS)'. In this research, we surveyed and analyzed the objects and the required functions of BPMS for companies to implement BPMS. The Delphi Method was employed for this research. As a result, the categorization of the objectives and required functions, and weights representing the importance of functions are established. Finally, discussions on the framework to evaluate and select the effective BPMS solutions for each company or organization are proved.

  • Background and Objectives: The diagnosis of flood stasis pattern is one of the most important methods in oriental medicine. The aim of this study is to Develop clinically useful questionaire of Blood stasis(瘀血) and quantitative analysis. Methods: The questionnaire including symptoms and signs for diagnosis of Blood stasis pattern is studied by delphi method and statistical analysis. Result: By the delphi method and statistical analysis, 14 Items of questionnaries are choosen. Conclusion: Further research is necessary for improvement reliabilities and validities of the questionnaires of Blood stasis pattern.
