An Evaluation Study for APEC International Cooperation Projects : Focusing on the Perception of Participants (APEC 국제교육협력사업에 대한 성과평가 연구: 국제교육활동 참여자들의 인식을 중심으로)

  • This study conducted the international evaluation of the APEC educational cooperation projects initiated by the Korean government and drew out strategies and tasks for their sustainable implementation. To this end, eight projects implemented by the Institute of APEC Collaborative Education were selected for the evaluation which examined participants' awareness of and the degree of participation in the eight projects as well as contribution to the intended outcomes of the projects. An online survey was conducted to participants of the eight projects and 283 experts and participants from 18 economies responded. The descriptive analysis found that the participants of ALCoB Cooperation Project reported the most positive perception of the awareness while the participants of the ALCoB Internet Volunteers showed the lowest degree of participation in and contribution to the intended outcomes of the project. Based on the results, several suggestions for further progress in Korea's APEC educational cooperation were made.

  • Fishing village is becoming the central base of fishing industry and it plays a major role. However, there is a decrement of marine resources and some difficulties with the deterioration of fishing industry management. In order to solve these problems, there should be some developments(e.g. fishing village toursim development) on various undergoing government and the private organization programs. Nevertheless, there are not guidelines for fishing village tourism development to utilize for practical business. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the current status and guidelines regarding the development of fishing village for coastal planner. The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of fishing village development works in Korea and Japan. The second purpose is to identifie success factors after analyzing individual success cases. Based on evidence from the literature and a dialogue with village leader, a literature review on extracting success cases for guidelines were selected according to criteria such as the degree of contribution to an increase in income of the fishing village, the degree of contribution to an increase in consumption of marine products using local natural resources, the number of tourists that visits the village. Finally we propose guidelines for future fishing village development projects. The guidelines based on the successful cases, as well as the major factors about the objectives and direction of fishing village tourism development, suggested as follows. 1)Plans for land use, 2)Development of tourist resources, 3)Plans for views, 4)Plans for resource protection, 5)Plans for operation and marketing.

Syntaxonomical Reconsideration of the Rosetalia rugosae (해당화군목의 군락분류학적 재고)

  • A phytosociological study on the hierarchical classification system of the Rosetalia rugosae, developed at the coastal dunes in the cool-temperate region of Northeast Asia, was carried out. Currently, the Rosetalia rugosae is subordinated to the Rosetea multiflorae which is the highest rank of the mantle vegetation in Northeast Asia, however its hierarchical system is somewhat ambiguous. This study was accomplished by using the syntaxa and hierarchical system of the Rosetalia rugosae and Rosetea multiflorae, and by also using 197 homogeneous relevns of the Rosetalia rugosae in South Korea and Japan in terms of the Zbrich-Montpellier School. For the hierarchical analysis of the Rosetalia rugosae, the constancy, the frequency and the net contribution degree were evaluated. It is estimated that the Rosetalia rugosae and the Rosetea multiflorae are hardly related to reciprocally. Thus, the subordination of the Rosetalia rugosae to the Rosetea multiflorae is comparatively irrational. Accordingly, the syntaxonomical hierarchy of the Rosetalia rugosae must be reconsidered that is correspond to the Viticetea rotundifoliae of the warm-temperate coastal dune shrub vegetation.

  • We will be establish the new k stores of identical product firm $F_B$ to gain competitive advantage over rival firm $F_A$ that has already monopolize a market with k stores. In this situation, how we can decide the location of k stores? For this problem, Serra and Revelle proposes k-Median and MAXCAP integer programming using LP+BB to decide the k stores of firm $F_B$. Then they exchange the k stores to another location that cover more customers. This paper suggests non-neighborhood search method that finds the ${\upsilon}{\not\in}N_G(u)$nodes for u of firm $F_A$ without most outer loop nodes using just MS-Excel. As a result of experiment, the proposed algorithm can be get the optimal solution easier and faster than integer programming.

  • Apparel goods are classified by many criteria for ease of merchandising implementation. Fashion and basic goods are also an oucome oi classification. Previous studies pnvide some criteria by which apparel products can be classified into fushion and basic goods. Among those ciiteria, seasonality, fashionability, clothing types, complexity in pnduction, simplicity of style, pioducuon volume, degree of style change by season, could be listed. This study, first explored how apparel merchandisers and designers define fashion and basic goods in relation with those criteria. Definitions of fashion and basic goods were explored in terms of design elements (i.e., style, color, material), production volume, sales ratio, proportion in product assortment, and contribution to profit. The study adopted a qualitative approach by use of eighteen infepth interviews with menhandisers and designers. Six were from women's wear brand, Seven from men's wear brand, and 5 from casual wear brand. All the interviewees agreed that they are using the classification of basic vs. fashion goods. However, they are using diverse terms to indicate the basic and fashion goods. The interviewees defined each group based on its contribution to total sales or profit complexity in design, production volume, and style change by season. Basic goods had a higher level of production quantity, contribute more to profit simpler design, and less style change by season than fashion goods.

Prediction of Autogenous Shrinkage on Concrete by Unsaturated Pore Compensation Hydration Model (불포화 공극 보정 수화도 모델을 이용한 콘크리트의 자기수축 예측)

  • To predict autogenous shrinkage of concrete, unsaturated pore compensation factor could be calculated by experiments of autogenous shrinkage of cement paste on the assumption that the differences between degree of hydration and strain rate of autogenous shrinkage are unsaturated pore formation rate. Applying unsaturated pore compensation factor on modified Pickket model considering contribution factor and non-contribution factor to autogenous shrinkage of concrete, experimental data and existing model were compared. From the results modified Pickket model was verified to present similar tendency between Tazawa model and experimental data, but CEB-FIP model might be corrected because this model uses ultimate autogenous shrinkage underestimated and the same autogenous time function of concrete material properties considering only compressive strength.

  • We studied behaviour pattern of anchovy (Engraulis japonicus) shoal by a method of shoal echo integration and tested species identification by a method of artificial neural network using the acoustic data collected in the East China Sea in March 1994 and in the southern coastal waters of the East Sea of Korea in March 1995. Between areas, frequency distribution of 10 shoal descriptors was different, which showed characteristics of shoal behaviour in size, bathymetric position and acoustic strength. The range and mean of shoal size distribution in length and height was wider and bigger in the southern coastal waters of the East Sea than in the East China Sea. Relative shoal size of China Sea. Fractal dimension of shoal was almost same in both areas. Mean volume reverbration index of shoal was 3 dB higher in the southern coastal waters of the East Sea than in the East China Sea. The depth layer of shoal distribution was related to bottom depth in the southern coastal waters of the East Sea, while it was between near surface and central layer in the East China Sea. Principal component analysis of shoal descriptors showed the correlation between shoal size and acoustic strength which was higher in the southern coastal waters of the East Sea, than in the East China Sea. Correlation was also found among the bathymetric positions of shoal to some degree higher in the southern coastal waters of the East Sea than in the East China Sea. The anchovy shoal of two areas was identified by artificial neural network. The contribution factor index (Cio) of the shoal descriptors between two areas were almost identical feature. The shoal volume reverberation index (Rv) was showed the highest contribution to the species identification, while shoal length and shoal height showed relatively high negative contribution to the species identification.

A Study on Inequality Analysis of Academic Information Sharing in University Libraries using Gini's Coefficient and Pareto Ratio (지니계수와 파레토 비율을 활용한 학술정보공유 기여에 대한 대학도서관 격차 분석)

  • Pareto principle states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. This study clarified if there is Pareto principle in Korean universities' academic information resource sharing network and calculates the Gini efficient about inequality in sharing academic resources. As a result, top 20% libraries led 80% of performance and inequality degree showed 0.8 as very serious condition. Relative Gini efficient which is recalculated considering scale of each libraries stay 0.7 that is adjusted slightly down. It means that such phenomenon is not caused by the difference of each universities scale with high contribution of big university and low contribution of small university. And in comparison of inequality between university's types, inequality between community colleges and private universities is more serious than four-year-course college and national university respectfully. Finally, as a result of visualizing the distribution of participating libraries, there were libraries with overwhelming contributions, and libraries with small but relatively high contribution levels were also distributed.

Role of Awns and Leaves during Grain Filling Period in Barley (보리의 등숙기에 있어서 엽신과 망의 역할)

  • Experiments were conducted in the research field of the former Wheat and Barley Research with three barley cultivars, Olbori, kangbori and Suwon 18, which show different growth characteristics. Relationships between the degree of grain filling and the functions of photosynthetic organs in grain growth post-anthesis were investigated by removal treatment of awns and leaves, Stems and leaf sheath contributed to final grain weight invariably with cultivars by 79.2∼81.4%. while the contribution rate of awns and leaf blades varied by different cultivars, Awns contributed by 11.6∼13.8% in 'Olbori' and 'Kangbori', and 5.4% in 'Suwon 18', Contribution of leaf blades was 15.4% for 'Suwon 18', and 4.8∼8.1% for other cultivars, Of leaf blades upper ones showed a higher contribution rate, Early-maturing cultivars which maintain leaf greenness to the late phase of grain growth or awned cultivars were considered advantageous in grain filling.

The Influence of Korean Fashion Brands' CSR Fit with Chinese Consumers on Consumer Satisfaction and Brand Attitude Moderated by Ethnocentrism (중국 진출 한국 패션 브랜드의 CSR 적합성이 소비자 만족 및 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향과 자민족 중심주의의 조절효과)

  • To help korean fashion brands establish CSR activities in the chinese market in the future, this study investigated the influence of korean fashion brands' CSR fit with Chinese Consumers on Consumer Satisfaction and brand attitude, with the moderating effect of ethnocentrism. An online survey was conducted with 20-39 year-old consumers in China from April 18 to April 30, 2021. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 24.0 and Amos 24.0. The results of this paper are as follows. First, environmental CSR fit had the greatest impact on consumer satisfaction, followed by financial CSR fit and social contribution CSR fit. Second, environmental CSR fit and social contribution CSR fit had positive effects on brand attitude, while financial CSR fit did not have a positive effect on brand attitude. Third, as customer satisfaction has a favorable effect on brand attitude, it can be inferred that the greater the satisfaction customers feel for a Korean fashion brand in China, the more positive the attitude they develop toward Korean brands. Fourth, there was no significant difference between groups that had a high and low degree of ethnocentrism, confirming that ethnocentrism does not have a moderating effect on consumer satisfaction. On the other hand, in the relationship between environmental and social contribution CSR fit and brand attitude, there was a greater impact in the low ethnocentrism group compared with the high ethnocentrism group, which verifies the moderating effect of ethnocentrism.
