  • For a finite simplicial graph 𝚪, let G(𝚪) denote the right-angled Artin group on the complement graph of 𝚪. For path graphs Pk, cycle graphs C and complete bipartite graphs Kn,m, this article characterizes the embeddability of G(Kn,m) in G(Pk) and in G(C).

  • Choi and Park introduced an invariant of a finite simple graph, called signed a-number, arising from computing certain topological invariants of some specific kinds of real toric manifolds. They also found the signed a-numbers of path graphs, cycle graphs, complete graphs, and star graphs. We introduce a signed a-polynomial which is a generalization of the signed a-number and gives a-, b-, and c-numbers. The signed a-polynomial of a graph G is related to the $Poincar\acute{e}$ polynomial $P_{M(G)}(z)$, which is the generating function for the Betti numbers of the real toric manifold M(G). We give the generating functions for the signed a-polynomials of not only path graphs, cycle graphs, complete graphs, and star graphs, but also complete bipartite graphs and complete multipartite graphs. As a consequence, we find the Euler characteristic number and the Betti numbers of the real toric manifold M(G) for complete multipartite graphs G.

  • Let G = (V (G), E(G)) be a graph and let g : V (G) → S3 be a function. For each edge xy assign the label r where r is the remainder when o(g(x)) is divided by o(g(y)) or o(g(y)) is divided by o(g(x)) according as o(g(x)) ≥ o(g(y)) or o(g(y)) ≥ o(g(x)). The function g is called a group S3 cordial remainder labeling of G if |vg(i)-vg(j)| ≤ 1 and |eg(1)-eg(0)| ≤ 1, where vg(j) denotes the number of vertices labeled with j and eg(i) denotes the number of edges labeled with i (i = 0, 1). A graph G which admits a group S3 cordial remainder labeling is called a group S3 cordial remainder graph. In this paper, we prove that square of the path, duplication of a vertex by a new edge in path and cycle graphs, duplication of an edge by a new vertex in path and cycle graphs and total graph of cycle and path graphs admit a group S3 cordial remainder labeling.

  • A graph is k-cyclable if given k vertices there is a cycle that contains the k vertices. Sallee showed that every finite 3-connected planar graph is 5-cyclable. In this paper Sallee's result is extended to 3-connected infinite locally finite VAP-free plane graphs containing no unbounded faces.

  • Let $P(G,{\lambda})$ denote the number of proper vertex colorings of G with ${\lambda}$ colors. The chromatic polynomial $P(C_n,{\lambda})$ for the cycle graph $C_n$ is well-known as $$P(C_n,{\lambda})=({\lambda}-1)^n+(-1)^n({\lambda}-1)$$ for all positive integers $n{\geq}1$. Also its inductive proof is widely well-known by the deletion-contraction recurrence. In this paper, we give this inductive proof again and three other proofs of this formula of the chromatic polynomial for the cycle graph $C_n$.

  • A graph is k-cyclable if given k vertices there is a cycle that contains the k vertices. Sallee showed that every finite 3-connected planar graph is 5-cyclable. In this paper, by characterizing the circuit graphs and investigating the structure of LV-graphs, we extend his result to 3-connected infinite locally finite VAP-free plane graphs.

  • In this paper, we analyze the Hamiltonian property of Pyramid graphs. We prove that it is always possible to construct a Hamiltonian cycle of length $(4^N-1)/3$ by applying the proposed algorithm to construct series of cycle expansion operations into two adjacent cycles in the Pyramid graph of height N.

  • A permutation graph over a graph G is a generalization of both a graph bundle and a graph covering over G. In this paper, we characterize the F-permutation graphs over a graph whose chromatic numbers are 2. We determine the chromatic numbers of $C_n$-permutation graphs over a tree and the $K_m$-permutation graphs over a cycle.
