전통 사찰의 이용 및 보존 가치에 대한 경제적 평가 - 설악산 신흥사와 가야산 해인사를 중심으로 - (Economic Evaluation of Use and Conservation Values of Traditional Temples - In Case of Sinheungsa in Seolak Mountain and Hainsa in Gaya Mountain -)

  • The traditional temples located in national parks have various functions, such as religious practice, tourist destination, and conservation for cultural and natural resources. One functions have implicit monetary values in terms of public benefits. The purpose of this study was to estimate both use and non-use conservation values for two traditional temples, Sinheungsa and Haeinsa, using the contingent valuation method. In the study, both single-bounded and double-bounded dichotomous choice methods were used in an application of Turnbull distribution-free model. A total of 659 visitors were interviewed, 350 in Sinheungsa and 309 in Haeinsa. The mean WTP (willingness to pay) for Sinheungsa using single-bounded method was 4,040 Won for the use value, 6,157 Won for the cultural conservation value, and 5,624 Won for the natural conservation value. The mean WTP for Haeinsa using single-bounded method was 6,463 Won for the use value, 8,769 Won for the cultural conservation value, and 8,013 Won for the natural conservation value. The total economic value of each temple accounted for 50% (Sinheungsa) and 80% (Haeinsa) of the total economic value of the associated national park. It was also found that the single-bounded method was more conservative than the double-bounded method in terms of value estimation. The WTP was highest for the cultural conservation value and lowest for the use values in both temples, with natural conservation values falling in the middle, which showed that people perceived traditional temples as the cultural heritage. Based on these results, it was suggested that traditional temples should be designated as an 'multiple heritage area' so that conservation can be used as the main criteria for various use programs.

종교 문화유산의 가치 인식과 선제적 보전 기반 마련 - 대순진리회 여주본부도장 문화유산을 사례로 - (Recognizing the Value of Religious Cultural Heritage and Establishing a Preemptive Preservation Foundation: A Case Study on Cultural Heritage as Observed at the Headquarters of Daesoon Jinrihoe)

  • 문화재를 지정·등록하는 것은 문화재로서의 가치를 효과적으로 보전하고 활용하기 위함이다. 보전·활용 대상으로서 법적 기반을 마련하는 것이 문화재 지정·등록이다. 이러한 문화재 보전과 활용은 문화재로서의 가치를 인식하는 것에서부터 시작한다. 그것이 문화재임을 알아차려야 보호해야 할 필요성을 알게 되고 활용 가능성도 발견할 수 있다. 이에 비추어 상대적으로 역사가 길지 않은 신종교들은 아직 문화재로 지정·등록된 것이 많지 않고, 자신들이 이어온 유산들이 갖는 문화재로서의 가치를 적극적으로 인식하지 않는 경향이 있다. 문화유산은 그것이 미래에 문화재로 지정·등록될 수 있는 잠재적 가치를 가진 것임을 인식할 때 문화유산답게 보전할 수 있다. 지정·등록 문화재 중에서 종교 문화재의 비중이 크나, 불교 문화재가 대부분이다. 신종교들도 50년, 100년이 넘는 역사를 이어왔으므로, 미래에 문화재로 지정·등록될 가능성이 있는 것들을 선제적으로 보호할 수 있는 기반을 갖추어야 한다. 보호 대상 문화유산 선정 및 목록 작성, 역사적·문화적 가치에 중점을 둔 현상 변경 최소화, 문화유산 보호에 관한 종교계 내부 규정 마련, 역사적·문화적 가치와 보전·관리에 관한 연구 촉진, 문화유산과 그 주변 환경을 포함하는 포괄적 관리 등이 보전 기반 마련에 필요한 것들이다. 문화유산으로 가치가 있음에도 문화재로 지정·등록되기 전에 훼손되거나 없어진 것들이 많다. 종교계 내부적으로 실질적인 문화유산 보전·관리 기반을 갖추는 것은 문화재 지정·등록 이전에 그 가치를 선제적으로 보전한다는 점에서 의의가 있을 것이다. 청계탑 등 대순진리회 여주본부도장 문화유산은 그 가치를 인식할 때 적절히 보전할 수 있고, 활용을 통한 가치 확산도 모색할 수 있다.

백제 유물 진묘수(石獸)를 활용한 스토리텔링 문화상품 제안 (A proposal for storytelling cultural products using Baekje Relic Jinmyosu (Guarding animals in tombs))

  • Storytelling, a medium that arouses the customers' purchasing need by playing on their emotions, is the best content that can be used as it can increase the value of goods using information. This paper's significance is that it suggests cultural products that can be used by using Baeke relic Jinmyosu (Guard Animals) as a motif. The purpose was to present the possibility of high value-added cultural products using storytelling techniques. This study developed storytelling by adding the meaning of Jinmyo and Beoksa, who calm protected their masters from evil forces with horns and wings, and has the meaning of ascending into heaven and guiding the soul on the right path. That image gives a glimpse of originality and differentiation to Baekje. This study proposed 4 cultural products as 'Keeper Stone Mason' and 4 'Stone Mason Teller.' The proposed cultural products can help to give correct awareness of Baekje culture through a correct understanding of the historical significance of the Baeke relic, Jinmyosu. Moreover, it will help promote the originality and excellence of Baekje culture around the world by enhancing the value of Baekje culture. This study is expected to be used as a guideline for further research on developing cultural products that can create added value in various fields.

The Sustainable Value and Belief of Multicultural Intelligence on Start-ups

  • Korean society is changing into multicultural society with increasing international marriage and immigrant influx. The increasing number of immigrants in Korean society suggests the necessity of social and economic integration of people with diverse cultural backgrounds. We study the entrepreneurial intention of multicultural immigrant. Cultural intelligence is closely related with sustainable value and belief to their eagerness in surviving of the 2nd country. Cultural intelligence is the individual's capability to function or manage effectively in different cultural settings or in multicultural settings. It is assumed that the cultural intelligence of multicultural immigrant might affect the entrepreneurial intention. Based on the theory of planned behavior, we set up the research model. 243 usable responses of multicultural immigrants in Korea were analyzed. Our findings suggest that cultural intelligence positively affected entrepreneurial intention by affecting subjective norm and perceived behavior control. This study contributed the study of the entrepreneurial intention and multicultural immigrant.

사회계층에 따른 문화적 환경이 취향과 가치관 형성에 미치는 영향 (The Impact which An cultural environment along a social stratum has on Clothes taste and Sense of value Formation)

  • Object of this study presents marketing of new market segmentation as what I classify a social stratum, and analyze sense of value about each social class clothes and a taste, but is. The study way used a questionnaire as an investigation study way, and I did execution from September to October in 1999, and the investigation object picked up an any table with the woman university student who lived in Seoul and did investigation, and analysis targeted total 550 people. I used a measurement item of economic capital and cultural capital as a classification item of a social stratum and selected a dwelling, a kind of property, an annual salary of parents as an index of economic capital. Presentation held an occupation of parents, scholarship, culture activity as an index of cultural capital. It is social stratum structure an occupation arranges in 12 job categories by, for your reference, I do a social orbit of the P. Bourdieu which is a French sociologist and an index of inheritance cultural capital, and having set up eight phases of evaluation, and to do a Y, Cultural Capital with X with economic capital. Sense of value about clothes and attitude selected social value, aesthetic appreciation enemy value, authority a few value in sense of value of the 6 type that E. Spranger(1922) presented, and a proposal did type in 3 about clothes. The measurement way used a 11 question item and measured I with five phases of Likert-type criteria and executed factors analysis by main ingredient analysis and varimax revolution law. I named a more than inherent 1 with the liver which was social man, aesthetic appreciation enemy man, an authority enemy with a basis. The results are as follows : People of the group which they belong to the same social class, and there is have a similar taste and select a similar product, and scholarship and an occupation of parents please lay a taste of children and sense of value, a hierarchical difference of attitude too and do it.

  • There has been an increasing preference for product with cultural value as people have a growing cultural sensitivity and greater demand for cultural value in current global market. In response to that, countries need to develop cultural products which represent their distinctive cultures and traditions, and such efforts may aim to promote the creation of economically high value-added and enhance the cultural image. In this paper, first, we analyze the correlation between Culture, cultural industry and Cultural goods. In this context, my efforts centered initially on a thorough analysis on the current situation and environmental problems that Korean culture faces presently, and then, processed and organized them into major industry categories of character industry, through a statistical methodology, to estimate its market volume by industry and to analyze the inter-relationship and macro-economic pervasive effects among related industries as well as cultural window effects. This paper could lead to final practical solution and suggestions for optimum policy measures to be taken for a supreme cultural industry for Korea.

경북 문화산업의 가치사슬 특성 (The Value Chain of Cultural Industry in Gyeongbuk)

  • 가치사슬 분석은 기존의 정량적 산업분석과는 다르게 분석의 초점이 단순 제조에서부터 제품과 서비스를 소비자에 공급하는 활동에까지 맞추어지기 때문에, 오늘날과 같이 경제의 서비스화가 심화되고 있는 상황 하에서 제조업과 서비스업의 경계가 불분명한 문화산업을 분석하는데 매우 유용한 분석틀이다. 본 연구는 경북 문화산업의 가치사슬을 분석하여 경북 문화산업의 강점과 약점을 파악하고, 나아가 가치사슬내 활동을 통한 혁신창출메카니즘의 이해를 통해 문화산업역랑을 강화하는 방안을 제시하였다. 첫째, 고부가가치단계이자 상대적으로 저학력 인력을 필요로 하는 유통 배급 및 홍보 마케팅 업체의 창업 및 유치를 도모하고 전문화를 강화시킨다. 둘째, 기업간 네트워크를 강화하여 장비의 공동 구입 및 이용 지원, 인력 및 기술 정보 교류를 활성화시킨다. 셋째, 이원화된 인력 양성 시스템을 구축하고 개방된 기업문화를 육성한다.

패션복합문화공간의 문화커뮤니케이션과 쇼핑추구혜택에 관한 연구 (The Study on Cultural Communication and Shopping Benefit in Fashion Cultural Complex Space)

  • This study examined the effects of cultural communication on the fashion distribution type and the shopping benefit in fashion cultural complex space. Surveys period was from Sep. 17th to Sep. 21st in 2012. The Subjects of this study were the young 207 people who had shopping experiences in fashion cultural complex space in their 20s~30s. The data were analyzed by a reliability analysis(Cronbach's ${\alpha}$), factor analysis and regression analysis. The main results of this study were summarized as follows. First, cultural communication in fashion cultural complex space were impacted by cultural brand, cultural display, cultural support and beneficial effect of culture. Second, customers pursued the shopping benefits to get social value, personal pleasure, individual style and economic value. Third, the preference of fashion outlet was effected by cultural brand and cultural display. The beneficial effect of culture and cultural brand influenced on department store preference. The preference of fashion multi-brand shop was impacted by cultural brand, cultural support and beneficial effect of culture. Fourth, cultural communication in fashion cultural complex space had an effect on pursuing shopping benefits. Fifth, customer's demographic characteristics impacted on cultural brand, cultural display and beneficial effect of culture. Especially, these 3 cultural communications were effected by monthly average fashion spending than age/total income.

근대 문화유산의 평가 기준과 상대적 중요도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Value Criteria and Relative Importance for Conservation of Modern Cultural Heritage)

  • 본 연구는 지역주민, 향토사학자들이 찾아낸 근대 문화유산을 1차적으로 평가할 수 있는 기준을 제공하기 위함이다. 최근 근대 문화유산을 보전하기 위해 정부 차원에서 등록문화재 제도를 도입하고 있으나, 정부와 전문가의 손길이 닿지 않는 곳곳에 숨겨진 지역 문화유산의 발굴을 위해서는 지역에 기반한 현황조사가 필요하다. 하지만 현재의 기준은 서술적으로 기술되어 있어 다소 모호하고, 일부 가치만을 반영하고 있어 적용하는데 어려움이 있다. 반면, 80년대 이후 서구 유럽에서도 유사한 논의가 전개되었으며, 평가기준에 있어 초기 건축적, 미학적 가치만이 아닌 사회문화적, 학술적 가치와 최근에는 경제적 가치를 중요한 평가가치로 제시하며 발전해 왔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 서양에서 시계열적으로 확장되어온 문화유산의 선정가치를 참조하여, 보전 가치와 관련한 역사적, 미학적, 사회 문화적, 학술적 가치, 활용 가치와 관련한 교육적, 경제적 가치로 구분하여 재구성하여 제안하였다. 다만 선정된 가치를 동일한 수준으로 평가하는 것이 적절하지 않음에 따라, 쌍대비교(paired comparison)를 이용하여 상대적 중요도와 값을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 전통적으로 중요한 가치로 인식되었던 역사적 가치는 여전히 가장 주요한 선정 기준이었음을 확인하였다. 반면, 과거 중요한 가치였던 미학적 가치는 새롭게 등장한 사회 문화적 가치 비해 낮게 평가되었다. 개별 시설의 아름다움보다는 근대문화유산의 사회, 환경적 관계를 보다 중요시함을 알 수 있었다. 활용가치의 경우, 보전 가치에 비해 상대적으로 낮게 평가되었다. 본 연구의 의의는 현재 건축적 가치와 미학적 가치 중심으로 평가되어 사라지고 있는 근대 문화유산에 대해 다각화된 가치를 선정 기준으로 반영함으로써, 지역민 스스로도 지역 내 근대 문화유산을 비교적 쉽게 평가할 수 있도록 하기 위함이다.

문화요인이 음식소비성향에 미치는 영향분석 -한국과 중국의 대학생소비자 비교분석- (A Comparative Study of Food Consumption Patterns with Cultural Factors for College Students in Korea and China)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore cultural factors that affect food consumption patterns by comparing them for college students in Korea and China. This study includes seeking pleasure, seeking satiety, and seeking well-being. Food consumption patterns, social responsibility, the value of life, faith in God, traditional moral fundamentalism and cultural taste are the cultural factors. To achieve the purpose, SPSS Win.(12.0) and LISREL(8.72) are applied. From the results of this study, first, among food consumption patterns, Koreans and Chinese both are found to put a higher value on seeking pleasure than other consumption patterns, and Chinese are found to put a higher value on seeking satiety. Second, for Koreans, the value of traditional moral fundamentalism and social responsibility are found to significantly influence seeking satiety and seeking well-being. If they had a higher degree of traditional moral fundamentalism, they would like to seek more satiety from food. And if they had a higher degree of social responsibility, they would like to seek more well-being from food. However, for Chinese, seeking pleasure is found to be significantly influenced by social responsibility and a faith in God, and seeking satiety is found to be significantly influenced by social responsibility and the value of a good life while seeking well-being is found to be significantly influenced by social responsibility and a faith in God. Compared with Koreans, cultural factors such as social responsibility, a faith in God, the value of a good life for the Chinese might influence significantly all three types of food consumption patterns. Thus, this study might provide more useful information about finding cultural differences of values and food consumption patterns between Koreans and Chinese.
