내러티브를 활용한 지리 가치 수업의 설계 및 적용 (Design and Application of Geography Value Instruction of Using A Narrative)

  • 본 연구는 학습자들의 흥미를 높이고 가치 학습을 위한 한 방법으로 내러티브에 주목하고 이를 활용한 가치 수업을 설계하고 적용하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 내러티브 속에 맥락적 정보가 포함되어 있어 사회문화적 관점에서 도덕적 선택을 할 수 있다는 점과 공감적 이해를 통해 좀 더 진정성 있고 현실적인 선택을 할 수 있다는 점에서 가치 학습에 유용하다. 둘째 설명식 텍스트와 비교하여 이야기 형식의 내러티브 텍스트가 학습자들의 흥미도나 내용 이해도, 교재 선호도가 높다. 셋째 스캐폴딩(scaffolding) 기술인 의미 조직(Web of meaning)이 학습자들의 사고(思考) 확대와 모둠 활동에 도움을 준다 넷째 수업을 통해 학습자들의 주제에 대한 인식 변화가 나타났다. 하지만 정교한 평가도구 개발과 학습자의 적극적 참여를 이끌어 내기 위한 현실적 방안이 필요하다.

동서양 건축에서의 '형태'의 의미 - '형상(形象)'과 '기형(氣形)'의 개념을 중심으로- (The Meaning of Architectural Shape in the Architectures of the East and the West - based on the Idea of 'Form(形象)' and 'Energy-Form(氣形)'-)

  • This paper aims to identify the meaning of architectural form of the East and the West. Ordinarily, we know the visual differences of architectural form between the two cultural families, and the technical reasons of such differences. However, the East and the West have their own views of architectural form that are derived from their own views of architecture, and again the views of architecture are rooted in their own views of the world. The paper maintains a comparative stance between the two cultures in analyzing the different concepts of architectural form, and employ the ideas of 'Form(形象)' and 'Energy-Form(氣形)' as a kind of representative concept of the two views of architectural form. It is discussed that the idea of Form pursued the realization of ultimate substance which is less materialistic but more ideal., while, the idea of Energy-Form pursued the realization of oneness and health through mutual interaction between man, architecture and nature. Architectural form in the West has been the purposeful expression of human ideal, while in the East, it was an expediential device for better energy condition. It seems important to understand such differences of the meaning of architectural form between the East and the West, since, in present time, we tend to think that the Western conception of architectural form is the only possible one. But it is not generally known that the Western conception of form has very particular background reason of its own which is unique to Western culture, and on the other hand, the nature of East Asian conception of architectural form is generally unknown.

  • 시장의 글로벌화는 시장환경을 급격히 변화시키고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 이에 부응하여 디자인을 통해 글로벌경쟁우위를 차지하려 노력하는 글로벌 기업들을 위해 글로벌 디자인 프로세스를 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구는 글로벌 소비자문화의 의미구조와 이동의 관점에서 글로벌 세분시장을 구성하는 글로벌 소비자문화, 글로벌 디자인 및 글로벌 세분시장을 구성하는 소비자간의 순환적 인과구조를 규명하여 글로벌 디자인을 위한 새로운 연구의 틀을 창조한다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 소비자들이 선호하는 디자인을 위해서 글로벌 소비자문화-기반 글로벌 디자인 프로세스를 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구목적을 위해 먼저 글로벌 세분시장과 글로벌 소비자, 글로벌 소비자문화 및 글로벌 디자인을 고찰한다. 그 다음 이들 간의 인과구조를 규명하기 위해 이론적 고찰로서 McCraken의 제품의 문화적 의미구조와 이동에 관한 이론을 적용하여 그것을 바탕으로 연구의 틀을 구성한다. 그리고 글로벌 소비자문화 중 10대 청소년의 글로벌 문화에 대한 2차 자료를 바탕으로 사례연구를 진행한다 마지막으로 연구의 결과로서 글로벌 소비자문화-기반 글로벌 디자인 전략을 제안하고 미래 연구를 위한 방향을 논의한다.

멘디의 역사적 기원과 상징성에 대한 연구 (The Study of the Historic Origin and the Symbolism of Mehndi)

  • Mehndi, becoming a kind of body fashion in western advanced countries nowadays, is a exquisite, classical fashion form sublimated to traditional faith, medicine and designing art. As one of the cultural arts, especially transmitted by women, a individual tradition of the way how to do the mehndi and the design has been handed down from one culture to another over a thousand of years and it is extensively using in many area, all around world today. Mehndi was used as preparing for special events or celebrations in India, Africa, Central Asia in order to pray for happiness, good luck and calm hart 5000 years ago. Especially, it is concerned with romantic love or a wedding and takes important part of a traditional wedding reception and bride adorning in the culture of Hindu or Islam. In addition to adorning skin, mehndi has various symbols, meaning, function, that is, as a speechless language, in several cultures, it has common meaning such as attraction, protection, celebration. The design of mehndi has been in harmony with the figure, colors, skin types of the dress or the ornament. According to the region, religion, design, mehndi is divided into the design of India and Morocco mostly. Indian design mainly shows flowers and paisley pattern, people widely recognize this design to celebrate and adorn bride in wedding ceremony, still apply mehndi the present time. Moroccan mehndi design, representing North Africa, characterized a bold geometrical figure which stands for belief in living under the protection from supernatural power. Through the understanding of these various meaning, function, symbolism of the design, adorning their body, the current general public use mehndi as not only aesthetic means but also another self expression.

카지노 종사자의 조직문화 인식과 심리적 임파워먼트 (Perceived Organizational Culture and Psychological Empowerment of Employees in Casino Companies)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to verify a role of organizational culture as antecedents to influence psychological empowerment of organizational members, focusing on service workers of casino companies. Therefore, this study sought to examine the question of each clan, adhocracy, market, and hierarchy culture that the workers perceive to influence their psychological empowerment. Thus, the current study examined the relationship between organizational culture and the psychological empowerment by empirical analysis. Research design, data, and methodology - This study chose four domestic casino companies that are run only for foreigners. Using an offline survey, it analyzed the questionnaire data of the 249 surveys collected from employees working in the sales and service sectors. Independent variables were four types of organizational culture: clan, adhocracy, market, and hierarchy. Dependent variables were four subcategories of psychological empowerment: meaning, competence, self-determination, and impact. As research methods, the study applied descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis, using SPSS 21.0 statistical program. Results - Among the organizational culture types, the clan and adhocracy cultures, which emphasize flexibility and autonomy, were relatively more important for the psychological empowerment of workers than the hierarchy and market cultures. Clan culture was the most important factor in terms of meaning and competence, and adhocracy culture was the most important factor in self-determination and impact. However, the hierarchy and market cultures that pursue control and stability were also cultural types that positively affected psychological empowerment of the workers. Hierarchy culture showed positive effects on meaning, competence, and impact except self-determination, and market culture had positive effect only on competency. Conclusions - The study found that organizational culture is an important predictor of psychological empowerment of the employees in casino companies and that important organizational culture types may be different for each sub-factor of psychological empowerment. It suggests that casino companies have to try to recognize and secure diverse organizational culture in order to activate psychological empowerment of their employees because they can provide quality service for customers. Therefore, it is necessary to create a harmonious and balanced culture between promoting flexible and autonomous organizational atmosphere, and stably controlling and operating the organization.

의미에 따른 선호 서체 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on the development of preferable font by meaning)

  • 서체는 고유의 특성을 가지고 있으며, 각각 서로 다른 느낌을 주고 있다. 적절한 서체의 선택은 내용의 의미를 더 빠르게 이해할 수 있도록 한다. 또한 사람들은 일반적인 습관이나 경험을 가지고 있어서 이것과 관련된 서체들의 사용은 그 내용의 의미를 확대시켜 준다. 그러므로 사용자는 글의 의미나 연령, 성별, 대상, 문화적 환경 등에 따라 서체를 다르게 선택하여 사용해야 한다. 서체 선택의 중요성이 강조되고 있으나, 서체 선택에 대한 기준이나 지침이 개발되어 있지 않으며, 이 분야에 대한 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 이 연구는 의미가 있는 문장이냐 의미가 없는 문장이냐에 따라 서체 선호도가 다르게 나타나는지에 대한 연구와, 의미가 있는 문장인 경우에 긍정적 의미의 문장이냐 부정적 의미의 문장이냐에 따라 서체 선호도가 어떻게 다르게 나타나는지에 관한 연구이다 이번 연구를 통하여 서체 사용자에게는 의미에 따라 다르게 서체를 사용해야 하는 지침을 제공하며, 서체 제작자에게는 서체 개발에 관한 지침을 제공하는 것에 기여하리라고 본다.

남전 율장의 가사 계율에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Kasaya Rule of Southern Vinaya-Pitaka)

  • This paper is on the Kasaya that reveals conspicuously the religious meaning among the Korean Buddhist costumes. The Kasaya has the most special meaning among Korean costume culture. It has the most important historical value, for Buddhism is the oldest religion that begins at 4th century A.D.. It has the most unordinary shape that we could not find any other costume culture. It has very important meaning to study on the Kasaya in the religious and cultural history of Korean costume. We have to study Korean Kasaya from surveying Indian Buddhist Kasaya diachronicaly. Buddha establishes himself the rules of weaving, coloring and wearing Kasaya. Bunso costume(분소의)is the first shape of Kasaya that he has worn during his ascetic practice. Bunso costume was a kind of shari. It is made with diapers those clean ordure of baby It symbolizes the life of ascetic practice. However Buddha could not stick to it as the only costume of monks. From his age Buddhist devotees have thought Buddha and monks as sacred beings. So they eagerly want to Provide the sacred beings with foods. clothes and other things that samgha(승가) need to live and accomplish their duties. At that time there are many kings, aristocracies and rich merchants among the devotees. They often offered them the luxurious silk Kasaya. that the ascetic monks could not wear. to express their deep faith. So the rules of the samgha has been distorted. The samgha has enlarged day by day as a great huge religious association. There are many different shapes of Kasaya. The Buddhist samgha need to establish a minute and rigid rules of Kasaya to order living of monks and to teach the moral and educational life to ordinary people. That book of rule is Vinaya pitaka(율장) . There are many kinds of Vinaya pitaka. This paper surveys the rules of Kasaya from Southern Vinaya pitaka(남전율장). This study will be the basic ground to research the Korean Buddhist Kasaya.

활옷의 상징성을 반영한 현대혼례복 디자인 (Study on Wedding Dress Designs that Reflect the Symbolism of Hwalot)

  • People have used the manner of expression "clothing" to find out and to symbolize the styles that suits one's roles, behaviors or altitudes. Moreover, the symbolic meaning of clothing is important as it reflects the culture of a time period as well at the life style of each classes of society. In the aspect in which clothing is critical data to re-examine a time period as to trace history, clothing is significant for understanding the characteristics of each time periods, and by focusing on women's wedding dress, a costume worn for one of the most essential ceremonies in one's life, this article studies how trends of each period have been symbolized through clothing. Thus, this study aims to set a foundation to understand the cultural features of a time period through the wedding ceremony. The article inquires about the hwalot to also understand its meaning during the period of its existence, and develops designs for modern wedding dresses for women. I. The wedding dress of women expressed the following meanings by using shapes, colors and patterns of the hwalot. 1) The formative art of hwalot is the ultimate beauty. 2) The wedding dress of women emphasized aesthetics. 3) The symbols praying for harmony between red and indigo, or the union of yin and yang indicates that marriage had been considered as a precious ceremony-an important matter of life. 4) The meaning of good auspice such as health, longevity, immortality, good luck and stability had been frequently used since people sought for new and eternal life. 5) The symbols of wealth and fame have been frequently used by those pursuing a wealthy life. 6) Marriage was considered as a union of families, and not a union of two individuals. II. This article presents two types of modern wedding dresses.

경북 북부도시에서 창조성의 의미 -지역개발의 실행을 중심으로- (The Implication of Creativity in the Northern Cities of Gyeongbuk Province : Centering on the Practice of Regional Development)

  • 창조도시가 도시 발전의 패러다임으로 점차 받아들여지는 가운데, 창조도시를 구성하는 주요 개념들 창조성, 창조계층, 창조산업 등의 의미를 살펴보았다. 창조도시의 개념에 관해서 지역 및 국가 간 다소 다르게 적용되고 있다는 점에서 관점의 차이가 나타난다. 본 연구는 상대적으로 창조도시에 관한 의미가 잘 부각되지 않는 국내의 중소 도시, 경북 북부 지역을 대상으로 그 의미를 파악하고자 하였다. 특히 창조산업의 의미가 지역의 자연, 농 특산품, 문화 역사적 자원의 관광자원화를 바탕으로 점차 문화, 체육 분야로 확대되어 나가고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 반면에 창조성의 의미가 그 지역의 자원을 활용하여 지역 활성화를 위한 모색하는 과정에서 어떠한 과정에 의해서 구체적으로 실현되어 가는지의 여부에 대해서는, 지방자치단체의 역할이 지역 내에서 비교적 뚜렷이 차이가 나타나고 있다. 주로 인터뷰에 의해서 파악된 그 역할은 리더의 역할, 지역 내 네트워크 체계, 외부와 네트워크 관계에 그 비중의 차이점을 보인다.

Surrealism 표현특성과 기호학적 적용방법을 통한 공간분석 연구 - 그레마스의 기호사변형을 중심으로 - (The study on spatial analysis using the expressional characteristics of surrealism and semiotic approach - Focusing on Greimas' semiotic square -)

  • Various and complex cultural phenomena have led to many changes in the space. The concept of unconsciousness, among others, and experimental expression technique and the concepts from surrealism that rather attaches great importance to contingency than intentional attempt have been employed in the space. The abstract expression as expressional characteristics of surrealism makes the space ambiguous through the concept of automatism using the approach of indeterminism and double image expression, and represents the space providing diversity through the dualism. In contrast, objective expression, which was based on depaysement, generates the tension and expresses the dramatic situation in such a way and manner which are intentional, distorted transformed, together with heterogenous meanings aligned through the reversal appeared in the techniques of collage and paranoiac-critical method. However if such space accommodating the expressional characteristics of surrealism is approached as superficial concept in analyzing the human's inner consciousness and imaginary society, expression of the ultimate concept contained in the expressional characteristics of surrealism can hardly be achieved. Hence, the spatial analysis from the semiotic approach, instead of unilateral method aimed to convey the meaning only, which creates the signification, was adopted. The study, as effective approach to the space accommodating the expressional characteristics of surrealism, was intended systematically evaluate the concreteness of understanding and generation of meaning through the semiotic method. Greimas' semiotic square analysis to the space plays the important role in generating the spatial meaning, as well as is needed for objective analysis of the importance of various characteristics and methodology which the space contains through the expressional characteristics of surrealism.
