The volume of B2C products rapidly increases according to the activation of the electronic commerce. Small and medium electronic commerce companies request the establishment of Parcel Warehouse &Distribution Center(PWDC) that is invested by the post office. This paper presents an economic evaluation method for PWDC from the perspectives fo PWDC and the post office. Two types of warehouses are considered as alternatives for PWDC. One is the conventional warehouse, and the other is the automamic warehouse that is characterized by AS/RS and automatic dispenser system. A benefit/cost analysis method is used to evaluate PWDC since it has the property of public enterprise. A PWDC which will be located in Seoul and adjacent to a concentrated post office is selected as a case study to illustrate the procedure of economic analysis.

This study attempts to analysis of the 1'ole and B/C(Benefict/Cost)of National Supported Supercomputing Center in process of the promotion for informatization in Korea. ETRI Supercomputing Center, as National Supported Supercomputing Center, was established in 1967 as a laboratory of KIST(Korea Institute of Science and Technology). ETRI Supercomputer Center have acted a leading role as National HPCC(High Performance Computing and Communication) in Korea. The result of B/C analysis of En Supercomputer Center showed that it is twenty times benefit as many as cost for the last 30 years. As soon as possible, it was Suggested that ETRI Supercomputer Center must be developed as National Supercomputing Center(NSC).

몽골은 석탄 매장량이 매우 풍부하고 석유연료를 전적으로 수입에 의존하기 때문에, 석탄액화플랜트 건설에 필요한 충분한 여건을 갖추고 있다. 본 연구에서는 몽골에 하루 10,000배럴의 석유연료를 생산할 수 있는 석탄액화플랜트를 건설할 경우에 대한 경제성분석을 수행한다. 먼저 기존에 있는 산업계의 석탄액화플랜트 프로젝트 데이터와 학계의 연구결과를 토대로 몽골 석탄액화플랜트 건설에 필요한 비용과 기대수명, 그리고 예상 수명기간 동안 운영했을 때 발생하는 운영비용과 소득을 추정한다. 추정된 비용과 소득을 이용하여 네 가지 시나리오(기본, 악화 1, 악화 2, 매우 악화) 하에서의 경제성 분석을 실시한다. 분석결과 투자수익률이 기본 시나리오에서는 45%에 가까우며, 가장 나쁜 시나리오에서도 5%보다 컸다. 이는 몽골 석탄액화플랜트 건설이 경제적으로 충분히 타당성이 있음을 나타낸다.

Feasibility which is complimented before Social Overhead Capital Project and National Policy Project is analyzed by economic and political benefits. The projects will be performed if the benefits are bigger than the project cost. In this study, feasibility was examined at various viewpoints on sewer rehabilitation projects implemented with private capitals. To achieve the feasibility analysis, the B/C (Benefit/Cost Ratio), IRR (Internal Rate of Return) and the returns ratio of the Build Transfer Lease project implemented in 2007 at W city were estimated. At the same time, the correlation with B/C and benefit sensitivity of concessionary rate fluctuation were analyzed to evaluate the efficiency and feasibility of the seven sewer rehabilitation projects promoted by a local autonomous entity.

This paper presents a method to select optimal device for mitigating voltage sags. The method is based on economic evaluation and voltage sag assessment involving sag duration as well as magnitude. The economic evaluation is performed by using the operation cost and economic benefit of the mitigation devices. The optimal device can be determined from the values of NPV (net present value) which is widely accepted in cost-benefit analysis. The proposed method can help sensitive customers to select optimal mitigation device. In this paper, the case study considering two sensitive customers was performed by using the proposed method.

To provide a development strategy on the method which assesses a potential risk of nationwide emerging IT infrastructure in planning and design phase, and to classify the assessment result into 5 levels is the goal of this research. The development strategy provided in this paper could improve a benefit-cost-ratio of investments on emerging IT infrastructure. With a premature assessment of the potential risks of a nationwide emerging IT infrastructure which needs astronomical amount of public funds, it could show a way of systematic investments on security systems and improve a benefit-cost-ratio of investments on emerging IT infrastructure. Also, this approach might improve the safety of nationwide IT infrastructure. It could identify and provide an optimized solution for the potential risks of nationwide IT infrastructure.

This study intends to analyze the economic feasibility of the construction of a new public library based on the case of a plan in Buk-ku, Daegu Metropolitan City. It includes cost-benefit analysis and sensitivity analysis. The results show that the construction of a new public library in this area would be feasible from the economic point of view.

Nowadays, it is planning to establish a coastal VTS in Korean southern coastal waters in order to enhance the safety of vessel traffic and to protect the marine environment. But, it surely needs over ten billions Won to establish, operate and maintain the above mentioned coastal VTS. Therefore, this paper proposes the VTS cost-benefit analysis model to confirm the reasonability and decide the priority of the project. This model has three distinct processes. Fist, it is the identification in qualitative terms of the effects of a given proposal. Second, it quantify the specified effects in physical terms. Third, it is the evaluation of the total effects of project. The proposed model in this Paper will contribute to the confirmation and the priority of the project in future.

We tried to find the optimal growth conditions of sea cucumber and to analyze the economic effectiveness of the sea cucumber seedling release project in Korea. We first examined the optimal growth conditions of sea cucumber in the relating literatures. Then, we analyzed the economic effectiveness of the sea cucumber seedling release project of the Woncheon fishing village union of Gyeongnam Province in 2016-2018 by using the cost benefit analysis method. The net income of the release project of the Woncheon fishing village union was 69,850 Korean won. The benefit to cost ratio of the sea cucumber seedling release project of the Woncheon fishing village union was estimated to be 1.7, indicating that the project was economically feasible. In order to improve the economic feasibility of the sea cucumber release project, as we see in the case of the Woncheon fishing village union, it is necessary to manage the purchase of the sea cucumber seedling, to improve the recapture rate of sea cucumber, and to manage marketing of sea cucumber.

Recently, the use of mobile payment, called "Pay" payment, is increasing such as 'KakaoPay' and 'SamsungPay'. In Korea, various mobile payment services are running and emerging. The purpose of this study is to examine the intention to switch from using existing credit cards or check card to mobile payment service based on the two-factor theory. We empirically examined the effect of the two factors, the factors that enable switching and the factors that inhibit switching. Therefore, the study use switching cost and switching benefit as parameters to confirm the effect on the switching intention. In addition, this study intends to analyze the differences between two subgroups by the degree of personal innovativeness. We survey smartphone users and credit card or check card users, and analyzed the Smart PLS 3.0 using structural equation model to verify the significance of the research hypothesis.
