  • Objective: The aim of this study was to achieve a qualitative understanding of childcare teachers' cooperation experiences with Nuri curriculum teaching assistants. Methods: The study adopted a qualitative research design. Participants comprised 23 childcare teachers working with Nuri curriculum teaching assistants. Focus group interviews were conducted to discuss their cooperation experience with the teaching assistants. Qualitative themes analyses were carried out following individual-level analyses, group-level analyses, and cross-group-comparisons. Results and Conclusion: The results showed that childcare teachers, at first, had low expectation for Nuri curriculum teaching assistants because they have ambiguous job descriptions. However, the teachers' actual interactions exhibited cooperation effects on improving the quality of childcare. Childcare teachers suggested the ways to promote cooperation between childcare teachers and Nuri curriculum teaching assistants at individual and systemic levels.

  • This study was conducted in an inclusion class in M Inclusion Day Care Center in Busan. Thirteen sessions of cooperation teaching were applied in the inclusion class. In this sense, the purpose of this study was to identify what kinds of change occurred in the perspectives of teachers' role on both the general education teacher and the special education teacher during cooperation teaching. The data were collected through participation observations, teachers' reflective journals, and interviews. From the results of the study, it could be suggested that various types of teaching strategies need to be introduced to both teachers from the beginning of inclusion so that the general teacher and the special education teacher could understand each others roles and tasks, share opinions and ideas about daily activities, and experience the roles of the other teacher.

  • Although people want to learn guitar easily and happily, it is difficult to learn because many restriction comes from expense, student's efficiency and teacher/s skill. In this paper, the guitar teaching program has been developed for who is difficult to learn guitar fingering. The guitar teaching system with ATmega 128 was programed using visual studio MFC program. The guitar fingering U/I program was investigated for beginners easy to learn the code and playing with guitar.

  • The purpose of this research is to design and develop an evaluation system with a view to improving teaching skills in the u-Campus environment. To achieve the purpose, this research analyzed various theories on the effectiveness of teaching and teaching evaluation system, extracting several evaluation factors which are to be included in the system. Based on these evaluation factors, this research developed a prototype by reflecting teaching assessment, coaching, self-reflection, portfolio, supervisor selection, user authority in sharing the portfolio and ubiquitous technology. This prototype differs from the existing evaluation methods in that it can enlarge the extent of supervisors other than professors according to their own selecting and can reduce the burden of assessment task, thus improve their teaching skills. This teaching evaluation system using portfolio and ubiquitous technology will be an innovative alternative to conventional assessment methods and will be of great help to qualitative progress in higher level education.

  • Controlling a mobile robot using conventional control devices requires skill and experience, and is not intuitive, especially in complex environments. For human-mobile robot cooperation, the direct-teaching method with impedance control has been used most frequently in complex environments. This thesis proposes a new direct-teaching method for a mobile robot utilizing variable impedance control. This includes analysis of user intention, which is changed by force and moment. A fuzzy inference technique is proposed in this thesis for identification of user intension. The direct teaching of a mobile robot based on variable impedance control through fuzzy inference is experimentally verified by comparing its efficiency to that of the conventional impedance control-based direct teaching of a mobile robot. Experimental data, such as the total time consumed, path error time, and the total energy used by the user, were recorded. The results showed that the efficiency of variable impedance control was increased.

  • This study grasped the problem by examining the consciousness of professors about the e-learning and reached a conclusion as follows. The teaching-learning model of e-learning should be developed. Universities should develop study system modules that can select assortatively by learners according to the e-Learning course and present a new education model of university for the liberal arts course, areas needing an industry-academic cooperation and an lifelong education in university and so on. Also, the one step e-Learning course of four weeks quantities should be administered through developing combination courses that appropriately combine advantages both face-to-face courses and on-line courses to activate the e-Learning.

  • This study examined the needs assessment of in-service education on teaching for school health teachers. The subjects of this study were 504 school health teachers, who were working in G-city and J-do. The data was collected from questionnaires of school health teacher's teaching from Nov. 9 to 23 2013. The data collected was analyzed by frequency analysis and a $x^2$-test. The conclusions were as follows. The first priority of the school health teacher's work is 'management of health problems' and the second is 'health education'. A difference was observed between the school levels (p< 0.01). The teaching methods mainly used on health care instruction were lecturing, discussion and practical training. The teaching materials of health care instruction mainly used were ppt, internet video, and textbooks. Most of health care teachers agreed to creativity education but they used creativity education less in practice. Most school health teachers want to in-service education on teaching and the contents of the course are creativity education or storytelling for new teaching.

In order to achieve the study objective, the questionnaires were distributed to 285 preservice childcare teachers in A city. In the results of the study, first, regarding the teaching ethics perceived by preservice childcare teachers, 'the ethics of infants' were the most highly perceived while the 'teaching strategy' on teacher efficacy, and 'social service' and 'professional ethics' on professionalism awareness were the most highly perceived. Second, preservice childcare teachers' teaching ethics, teacher efficacy, and professionalism awareness had statistically significant correlations. Third, preservice childcare teachers' teaching ethics had positive influence on teacher efficacy and professionalism awareness. Based on the results of this study, in order to improve the quality of the childcare service after understanding the importance of preservice childcare teachers' teaching ethics, it would be necessary to have various researches on the internal stability of the systematic education for childcare teachers to have teacher efficacy and professionalism awareness.
