J적분에 의한 SB41강의 피로균열 진전 특성 평가 (Description of crack growth behavior of SB41 steel in terms of J integral)

  • 본 연구에서는 중앙균열을 가진 SB41강의 평판이 하중제어와 변형률제어 피로 상태에서 소규모 항복, 대규모 항복, 또는 전면 항복의 각 응력에서 피로균열 진전 속 도와 J적분 범위, .DELTA.J와의 관계를 조사하는 한편, 피로균열 진전 속도를 지배하는 국 소적 역학 인자인 균열선단 개구변위, COD와 균열 진전 속도와 관계 및 그 특성을 고 찰하였다.

Stereotype for Control-display Relationship of Four-burner Range for Korean

  • The aims of this study are to investigate the Korean population stereotype for control-display linkage of four-burner gas-range, and to compare the results of this study with those of the existing studies. The investigation used a paper-pencil test using questionnaire with a sign code system for eliminating suggestive effect of sequential code. Two hundreds and eighty subjects participated in the investigation, among whom 254 subjects effectively responded to question for the gas-range stereotype. The results showed that type III(refer to Table 2) was chosen more frequently than type II, IV and V(p<0.01). The gender is not significant on responding rate for the type of control-burner linkage(p>0.92), while the age and occupation have significant effect on the rate(p<0.01). Based on this study, it appears that type III represents the population stereotype of control-burner arrangement for Korean. The stereotype was the same as that of Chinese, but different from that of American(type II or IV). The findings of this study would be helpful as basic data for ergonomically designing gas-range or similar products.

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate accuracy of paper-pencil test used in surveying control-display stereotype. For doing this, three paper-pencil tests dealing with stereotype for control-burner relationship of four-stove gas range, in which three different gas range images were provided, were performed and the results were compared with those of existing studies. The result of the paper-pencil test using simple image composed of line and circle was different from that of the real model simulation, while the results of the other two tests and a previous study providing more realistic images were the same as that of the real model simulation. Furthermore, the proportion of responses coinciding with the real model simulation increased as images used became closer to real range. It is concluded that the paper-pencil tests well designed using realistic images may produce the same stereotype as the real model simulation.

  • In this paper, a performance of bi-directional DC/DC converter using PFM control at whole load range is analyzed. A bi-directional DC/DC converter using PFM control in this paper can be soft switching operation with LC series resonant circuit. It's difficult to expect a high efficiency at whole load range in general resonant converter because of limitation of soft switching area. Therefore converter used in this paper has a variable frequency PFM control to overcome a limitation of soft switching area and it makes a high efficiency at whole load range by implementing a soft switching at light load area of restricted soft switching. The high efficiency at whole load range is verified by simulation and experimental result.

계통전압.무효전력 제어에 관한 연구 (A study for the system voltage and reactive power control)

  • This paper presents a method of the voltage-reactive power control in the long and short range operations and introduces a conception, "optimum control pattern." The optimum control pattern, aiming at the over-all system control, is defined as the optimum voltage distribution which minimizes the system operating cost under the conditions that the specified power be supplied and the system voltage be kept within the specified bounds. The following procedure was adopted to obtain this optimum pattern. In the first place, a power system was divided into three blocks, namely, load, substation and generator. Lagrange's, multiplier method is applied to each block in turn, paying attention only at the operating voltage distribution. Phase angles at each bus are then modified so that the continuity of active power is maintained. This procedure may be called "block relaxation method with Lagrange's multipliers." In a long range operation, this control pattern determines the optimum installation capacity of reactive power sources. In a short range operation, it also gives the reference state of real time control and the optimum switching capacity of reactive power souces. The real time control problem is also studied from the standpoint of cooperation of control devices such as generators, shunt capacitors, shunt reactors and ratio load controllers. A proposal for the real time control will contribute to the automation of power system operation in the near future. in the near future.

  • A new control method of spindle induction motor drive is proposed in this paper. In a conventional control method, the vector control was employed in the low speed range, while the constant V/f(volt-per-hertz) PWM control was employed in the high speed range. The two control modes were automatically selected at an intermediate speed. In a proposed control method, the direct vector-control with an encoder is employed in the low speed range(from 0 to 8,000rpm), and the vector control without an encoder is employed in th high speed(from 8,000 to 15,000rpm) by using flux observer and speed estimator. This paper describes problem of control method in a conventional spindle induction motor drive and proposes contort method as variation of motor speed.

  • In this paper, we deal with the full range control problem of nonlinear boiler systems subject to complex actuator constraints. Firstly, $H\infty$ loop shaping design procedure[10] is used for the controller design. Secondly, modified high-gain feedback[11] for the loop shaping controller is adopted for the anti-windup function and the bumpless transfer technique between controllers is proposed for the full range control of nonlinear systems. Finally, the performance of the proposed controller is demonstrated through the simulation studies.

  • The control valve positioner is a high gain plain proportional controller which measures the valve stem position and compares it to its setpoint which is the primary controller output. The positioner in effect is the cascade slave of the primary controller. In order for a cascade slave to be effecttive, it must be fast enough compared to the speed of its set point change. This paper describes the positioner transfer function and its effect on the entire control loop characteristic based on the simulation results. The result showed that the control valve and positioner determined the gain and phase angle in the high frequency range, while the primary controller and process determined those of the low frequency range. We can also anticipate the combined characteristics in the whole frequency range when each element's frequency response is known.

  • A pulse with modulation(PWM) that keeps a constant angle of dwell and adjust duty ratio is a good method to control a speed of SRM. And a method of one pulse control is proper a operation on range of high speed in SRM for a good energy efficiency. Because PWM method is more safety than one pulse method, conversion of those is best choice according the speed range. So, some algorithm is need for smooth conversion of the mode of control. This paper presents a factor of conversion that proper the conversion of control mode between PWM and one pulse method This factor is from estimation of torque and proper at the variable range of conversion and show the better conversion characteristic than constant factor of conversion.

  • 석탄화력발전소는 저부하에서 효율 향상을 위해 변압운전으로, 고부하에서는 정압으로 운전하는 복합변압운전 방식으로 운전하고 있으며, 복합변압운전에는 2밸브 및 3밸브 전개모드로 구분되어 운영되고 있다. 각 발전소는 제작사 권고에 따라 터빈제어밸브 모드를 선택하여 운전하고 있으나 최적의 변압운전 부하범위로 운전되고 있지 않고, 각 발전소별 부하범위 또한 상이하게 구성 되어있다. 최적의 변압운전 부하범위로 설정되지 않으면 터빈밸브 교축 손실 발생에 따른 고압터빈 내부효율 저하가 발생되어 플랜트 효율이 저하된다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 본 논문에서는 터빈제어밸브 모드별 최적의 변압운전 부하 범위를 개선하기 위해 각 부하별 열 성능 분석 방법을 통해 최적의 부하범위를 선정하고자 한다.
