Virtual Network Mapping Algorithm for Minimizing Piecewise Linear Cost Function (Piecewise Linear 비용함수의 최소화를 위한 가상 네트워크 매핑 알고리즘)

  • Development of Internet has been successfully inspired with extensive deployment of the network technology and application. However, increases in Internet usage had caused a lot of traffic overload in these days. Thus, we need a continuous research and development on the network virtualization for effective resource allocation. In this paper, we propose a minimal cost virtual network mapping algorithm using Piecewise Linear Cost Function. We exploited an algorithm with Linear Programming and D-VINE for node mapping, and Shortest Path Algorithm based on linear programming solution is used for link mapping. In this way, we compared and analyzed the average cost for arrival rate of VN request with linear and tree structure. Simulation results show that the average cost of our algorithm shows better efficiency than ViNEyard.

64 channels computerized cardiac mapping system (64채널 심장전기도 시스템 구현에 관한 연구)

  • It is well known that multipoint and computerized intraoperative mapping systems improve the results of surgery for Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome and show tremendous potential for opening an entirely new era of surgical intervention for the more common and lethal types of supraventricular tachyarrhythmias such as atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation. In addition, the ability to map and ablate the sometimes fleeting automatic atrial tachycardia is greatly enhanced by computerized mapping systems. In this study, we have developed 64 channel computerized data analysis system using microcomputer (Macintosh ${II}_{x}$) for basic research of electrophysiology and electrical propagation. The bipolar electrogram information is acquired from 64 cardiac sites simultaneously at a sampling rate of 1 ksampls/sec with continuous and total data storage of up to 30 seconds. When the reference electrogram is selected and reference point is picked up, delay time from the reference point is displayed on two dimensional diagram of the heart. System design permits easy expansion to almost 256 simultaneous sites. this system is expected to enable us to study pathophysiology of cardiac arrhythmia and to improve the result of diagnosis and surgical treatment for cardiac arrhythmia.

  • Mobile Mapping System can be defined as vehicle mapping system which collects rapidly spatial data by integrated Gps/digital imaging system. Kinematic positioning by GPS is essential technology of Mobile Mapping System. This paper aims at analysing the accuracy and efficiency of kinematic positioning by GPS platformed on moving vehicle. For the purpose, roads were surveyed by vehicle/kinematic GPS. The results show that vehicle/kinematic GPS can measure spatial position faster, and still maintain a reasonable accuracy. But inertial navigation system and GPS should be integrated to compute continuous vehicle track and overcome gaps by blocked satellite signals for the more accurate positioning.

  • Recently, the urban regeneration project has been performed actively at home and abroad. The stake-holders in urban regeneration project are various and complicated, and has large scale during a long life period. Also they show the characteristics of a mega-project and most mixed-use form. Therefore, the urban regeneration has a lot of potential risk factors from project beginning to completion. It means they need efficient and continuous risk management in terms of performance measurement. But the current domestic construction project does not reflect risk management in view of performance measurement. This study proposes the risk management methodology by mapping risk factors with major performance indexes of the urban regeneration project.

  • In this paper, we used the supra fuzzy topology which generated from a fuzzy bitopological space [1] to introduce and study the concepts of continuity (resp. openness, closeness) of mapping, separation axioms and compactness for a fuzzy bitopological spaces. Our definition preserve much of the correspondence between concepts of fuzzy bitopological spaces and the associated fuzzy topological spaces.

  • In this paper, we introduce and consider a new system of relaxed cocoercive variational inequalities involving three different operators and the concept of projective nonexpansive mapping. Base on the projection technique, we suggest two kinds of new iterative methods for the approximate solvability of this system. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the main results of [S.S. Chang, H.W.J. Lee, C.K. Chan, Generalized system for relaxed co coercive variational inequalities in Hilbert spaces, Appl. Math. Lett. 20 (2007) 329-334] and [Z. Huang, M.   • In this paper we present an iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of zero points of accretive mappings and the set of fixed points of nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. By using viscosity approximation methods and under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems for approximating to this common elements are proved. The results presented in the paper improve and extend the corresponding results of Kim and Xu [Nonlinear Anal. TMA 61 (2005), 51-60], Xu [J. Math. Anal. Appl., 314 (2006), 631-643] and some others.

  • To represent the overall potential distribution on the entire scalp it is necessary to interpolate between sampled EEG(electroencephalogram) values, we describe a method to interpolate between scalp recorded EEG data which obtained from electrodes irregularly disposed on the scalp, using polynomial interpolation. This method can analyze the variance of source temporally or spatially and present continuous distributed topographic mapping of the EEG records. In the result, we obtained the overall potentials distribution on the entire scalp from the EEG records of a patient which was known to epilepsy.

  • As computer vision algorithms are developed on a continuous basis, the visual information from vision sensors has been widely used in the context of simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), called visual SLAM, which utilizes relative motion information between images. This research addresses a visual SLAM framework for online localization and mapping in an unstructured seabed environment that can be applied to a low-cost unmanned underwater vehicle equipped with a single monocular camera as a major measurement sensor. Typically, an image motion model with a predefined dimensionality can be corrupted by errors due to the violation of the model assumptions, which may lead to performance degradation of the visual SLAM estimation. To deal with the erroneous image motion model, this study employs a local bundle optimization (LBO) scheme when a closed loop is detected. The results of comparison between visual SLAM estimation with LBO and the other case are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.

  • A clinically oriented EEG and EP mapping system was developed with user-friendly interface and easy interactive operations. The system was based on the graphical user interface developed with C/C++ and Software Development Kit (SDK) operated under Microsoft Windows 3.1. Continuous acquisition for the EEG signal and burst mode acquisition for EEG signal syncronized to the external stimuli arc implemented with real time display. A neural network based automatic artifact discrimation is developed and implemented with which examination time can be reduced by a factor of 3 or more. Several bands of spectral maps and spectrums arc displayed for EEG diagnosis. Amplitude maps of EP signal at specified times by operator are displayed together with cine mode of EP maps for dynamic study. Source localization and other statistical signal processing are also included.
