The Color Symbolism of the Costume on Korean Film "Swiri" - focused on relations among space, background and costume -

  • Korean film "Swiri"(1999) as well as a popular film is the first Korean blockbuster Film. In addition, the number of viewers is very common in Korea a large ripple effect that Korea film "Swiri" in his works were selected to act as a hero and contextual significance confrontation between the two figures through the symbolic analysis of clothing styles and colors Analyzing the meaning of space and a scene in the background with the colorful costumes and would like to study. In detail, the film's central character theme and image suggesting that dramatic reversal the character's personality through the clothes I was expressed through clothing styles and colors were analyzed with symbolism.   • This study investigates the antecedents of knowledge sharing behavior focusing on the individual level factors in an assumption that the behavior is initiated from the individual level decisions. A hypothesis that the relation between personality trait and behavior is mediated by the social-cognitive constructs contained in the Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB) is tested. For the study, we suggest a TPB extended model that extends original TPB model by including conscientiousness facet of FFM(Five Factor Model). This study uses a cross-sectional design. Data were collected from a self-reported survey on 197 nurses in a tertiary hospital. The results showes a significant positive relationship between the conscientiousness facet of FFM and knowledge sharing behavior. In the TPB extended model, the conscientiousness facet has significant direct effects on all the constructs of original TPB model. Of the TPB exogenous constructs, the social norm construct alone has a significant effect on intention and the perceived behavioral has a direct significant effect on the knowledge sharing behavior. These results confirm the importance of conscientiousness in predicting knowledge sharing behavior and clarify the characteristics of knowledge sharing behavior as a contextual, job oriented behavior in a workplace. We conclude that personality trait as conceptualized in the FFM needs to be integrated into TPB model in explaining the knowledge sharing behavior. Based on these results theoretical and practical implications are discussed.

Social Supports from Organization and Customer: An Integrated Model

  • This study applies the job-demands resource (JD-R) model to investigate the interactive effect of job demands and job resources in predicting the development of service employee work engagement and customer-oriented attitude. This paper proposed a theoretical model that suggests that the service employee's work engagement is the consequence of the employee's perceived support from the organization and its customers (customer participation) and leads to a customer-oriented attitude. However, the effect of organizational support is somewhat hindered by job insecurity, demonstrating the inability of an organizationally provided job resource to overcome the job demand of job insecurity. As a type of job demand from customer's perspective, customer crowding is suggested as a negative moderator in the link between customer participation and work engagement. As such, this article proposes how different elements of a service employee's work environment interact to ultimately influence the service employee's customer-oriented attitude. Specifically, the current research focuses on how the negative contextual elements of job insecurity and job crowding (i.e., job demands) interact with the potentially positive elements of organizational support and customer participation (i.e., job resources), as well as with an employee's customer orientation, to ultimately develop a customer-oriented attitude. This study concludes with some propositions for potential causal relationships among key constructs that can be empirically tested in future research, as well as implications of the current study for both managers and researchers.

PISA 2015 과학 영역에 나타난 학생 성취수준 집단 및 성별에 따른 교육맥락 변인의 특성 및 영향력 분석 (The analysis of characteristics and effects of contextual variables in terms of student achievement levels and gender based on the results of PISA 2015 science domain)

  • 본 연구에서는 PISA 2015의 과학 영역 결과를 토대로 우리나라 학생의 성취수준 집단 및 성별 집단에 따른 다양한 교육맥락 변인의 특성과 학생들의 성취에 미치는 영향력을 비교 분석하였다. PISA 2015는 과학이 주영역이었기 때문에 과학 영역과 관련된 교수 학습 변인 및 정의적 특성 관련 변인들이 다수 포함되었다. 다집단 구조방정식 모형을 통해서 분석한 결과, 학생들의 수업 환경, 교사의 피드백 등과 같은 교수 학습 특성은 과학 교과의 정의적 특성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 정의적 특성을 매개로 과학 성취에도 간접적으로 통계적으로 유의하게 정적인 영향을 미치는 것이 확인되었다. 특히 교사의 지지와 맞춤식 수업 등의 교수 방법은 성취수준이 낮은 집단의 정의적 특성향상에 상대적으로 효과가 있었다. 또한 성취수준 집단 간에는 차이가 나타났으나, 성별 집단에서는 차이가 발생하지 않았다. 따라서 학생들의 인지적, 정의적 성취를 향상시키기 위해서 적절한 교수 학습 환경과 전략을 제공하는 것에 대해 지속적으로 강조할 필요가 있을 것이다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 한 우리나라 교육 개선을 위한 시사점과 학생들의 인지적, 정의적 특성을 향상할 수 있는 방안이 논의되었다.

  • 본 연구는 일의 심리학 이론을 기반으로 한국 여성 직장인의 직장 내 미묘한 성차별 경험과 괜찮은 일의 관계에서 개인내적 변인인 진로적응성과 맥락적 변인인 조직의 성차별 문화의 역할에 대해 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 한국 여성 직장인 219명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하여 수집한 자료를 바탕으로 직장 내 미묘한 성차별 경험과 괜찮은 일과의 관계에서 진로적응성의 매개효과와 조직의 성차별 문화에 의해 조절된 진로적응성의 매개효과를 검증하였다. Mplus 7.0 프로그램을 활용한 구조방정식 모형 분석 결과, 직장 내 미묘한 성차별 경험과 괜찮은 일의 관계에서 진로적응성의 매개효과는 나타나지 않았으나, 직장 내 미묘한 성차별 경험과 괜찮은 일의 관계에서 진로적응성의 매개효과는 조직의 성차별 문화에 의해 조절되는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 본 연구의 의의 및 후속연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.

중국기업의 애자일 문화인식이 직무성과에 미치는 영향: 개인역량 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Perceived Agile Culture of Chinese Enterprises on Job Performance: Focused on Moderating Effect of Individual Capability)

  • 본 연구에서는 애자일 문화인식(임파워먼트, 지속적 학습, 개인 커뮤니케이션 강화)이 직무성과(과업, 맥락, 적응)에 미치는 영향 및 개인역량(지식, 기술)의 조절효과를 이론적으로 검토한 후 중국기업의 종업원을 대상으로 실증연구를 진행하였다. 실증분석을 위해 중국기업에 종사하는 종업원 219명의 데이터를 사용하였으며 SPSS 21을 사용하여 변수의 타당성 및 신뢰성 분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 애자일 문화 인식은 직무성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 개인역량은 애자일 문화 인식과 직무성과 간의 관계에서 부분적인 조절역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 통해 직무성과에 영향을 미치는 애자일 문화인식과 개인역량의 세부적인 역할을 이해할 수 있고 애자일 문화인식을 구성하는 요인들이 기업들이 애자일 조직으로 변환하는데 연구방향을 제시할 수 있다.

From Thinking to Action: The Moderating Effect of Perspective Taking on Embodied Cognition

  • Recent developments in embodied cognition suggest that people process environmental information by using their bodily state and mental simulation. The focus of embodiment theory is that cognitive processing is based on the interaction among the body, the mind, and the world. Based on embodied theories of cognition, the authors predict that when the representation of marathon running is activated, bodily feedback such as tiredness and thirst will occur because mental simulation of marathon running contains sensorimotor representation of marathon running. As a result, it is predicted that participants primed with marathon runner will have more desire to have products that enable thirsty-quenching. Specifically, this research proposes that consumers' tendency to adopt the perspective of others influences embodied cognition, since perspective taking leads people to assimilate their own self-judgments and behaviors toward the cognitive representations of others. An experiment reveals that both perceptual and cognitive perspective taking tendencies moderate how participants respond to the contextual cues. The effect of perspective taking is moderated by whether participants are prompted to adopt a first-person view or a third-person view. In detail, among the high perspective takers, those in the marathon-first-person condition drink more the mineral water than those in the marathon-third-person condition, who in turn drink more the mineral water than those in the control condition. Among the low perceptual perspective takers, however, there are no significant differences in the amount of mineral water intake. This research delivers important insights for advertising messages. When being exposed to an advertisement, high perspective taking consumers may be more engaged in the advertised message than low perspective taking consumers, which in turn high (vs. low) perspective taking consumers' tendency to respond behaviorally consistent with the message may be higher. Based on the findings of this research, if the message induces the high perspective taking consumers to have a first- (vs. third-) person view, this effect may be stronger. Moreover, if the advertising message contains behaviors, such as using the target product, inducing consumers to mimic the behaviors seems to bring more behavioral responses which marketers intend.

  • The features of the cultural phenomenon, 'Hybrid Culture,' can be analyzed through the concept of 'Meme,' the cultural gene continuously evolves. The architectural meme also has an effect as the cultural symbol on a space. It can be the solution to the urban problems, lack of contextualization caused by reckless development. Therefore, this study aims to examine the characteristics of the sustainable and effective renewal space by applying the concept of Meme. Theoretical analysis, characteristics of expression, and case study are conducted to analyze the Meme features of the renewal space. Particularly, this study focuses on the Meme features appeared in the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex in German. The results obtained from this study is as written below. First, Meme renewal space is a design that can solve the contextual deficiency of architecture through the cultural renewal. Second, the true renewal space has the characteristics of meme space that organically changes as if an organism. Third, it is possible to conduct a detailed analysis on the organic characteristics according to the evolving phases-Mimesis, Memeplex, and Metameme. Fourth, the true meaning of sustainable renewal space is the Meme space encompasses the scope of urban. Lastly, the Meme space has a circulation system that each evolving phase, and new and old continuously exchange feedbacks.

지각된 상호작용성이 모바일 패션 쇼핑몰 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of perceived interactivity on purchase intention of mobile fashion shopping malls)

  • In this study, we identified the factors of perceived interactivity and verified the path model of effects of these factors on mobile fashion shopping purchase intention through perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. To develop the conceptual model, we consulted the related precedent studies and searched various kinds of literatures. To verify the conceptual model, we conducted the survey targeting smartphone users in their 20s~30s and analyzed the structural equation model using AMOS 16.0. The results were as follows. Control, responsiveness and two-way communication, and contextual offer were identified as the factors of perceived interactivity. Perceived interactivity and perceived ease of use had positive effect on perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness affected attitude toward purchase, and attitude toward purchase influenced positively on purchase intention. Perceived usefulness affected purchase intention directly as well as indirectly through attitude toward purchase. Based on the results, we proposed the marketing strategies for mobile fashion shopping businesses.

자산형성프로그램을 이용한 저소득가정의 탄력성 형성 과정에서의 가정자원 관련 경험 (Experiences of Family Resources in Resilience Development Process for Low-Income Families Participating in Asset Building Program)

  • This study examines the effect of family resources on low-income families by exploring their holistic experience of poverty to the formation of resilience. A grounded theory approach is utilized to structure process from their experience of poverty as well as the use of social welfare services to the formation of resilience. This study targets 17 families involved in the pilot project for the beneficiaries of an asset building program in Seoul. In accordance with open coding and a paradigm model by the result of axial coding, 86 concepts, 23 sub-category, and nine categories are produced. These categories are classified into the causal condition (a tough life due to poverty), contextual condition (being the recipient of an asset building program), intervening conditions (interpersonal resources and effects of accumulated time or experience), central phenomenon (a will to live and overcome poverty), actions/interactions (active behavior and change of attitude), and consequences (change of asset levels and increased efficacy in their lives). The integrating categories identify the core category as 'the process of making a resilient life out of the power to live' and a final process model is organized. The results suggest crucial implications to develop comprehensive policies to address poverty issues for low-income families with a strength-based approach.
