Context and Pattern of Self-Sufficiency Program Based on the Experiences of Self-Sufficiency Program Practitioners: focusing on local self-sufficiency center workers and related public officers (자활사업 실무자들이 경험한 자활사업의 맥락과 패턴: 지역자활센터 실무자들과 관련 공무원들을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the context and pattern of Korea's self-sufficiency program based on the experiences of self-sufficiency program practitioner. To this end, this study applied the context-pattern analysis method, which was known as one of the qualitative research approaches, to provide proper and effective evaluations of self-sufficiency program. The analysis shows that the context of the self-sufficiency program consists of such sub-contextual components as 'market economy', 'social service system', 'self-sufficiency system', 'self-sufficiency program', 'self-sufficiency program participant', 'procedural experiences of the program', 'outcomes of self-sufficiency program', and 'meaning of the self-sufficiency program'. Furthermore, such patterns as 'decreased vitality of self-sufficiency system', 'service flow', 'journey to the self-sufficiency', and 'sequences to small success', were also presented. Based on these findings, this study suggests policy and practice implications, and subsequent related research topics.

An Analysis on Argumentation in the Task Context of 'Monty Hall Problem' at a High School Probability Class (고등학교 확률 수업의 '몬티홀 문제' 과제 맥락에서 나타난 논증과정 분석)

  • This study aims to look into the characteristics of argumentation in the task context of 'Monty Hall problem' at a high school probability class. As a result of an analysis of classroom discourses on the argumentation between teachers and second-year students in one upper level class in high school using Toulmin's argument pattern, it was found that it would be important to create a task context and a safe classroom culture in which the students could ask questions and refute them in order to make it an argument-centered discourse community. In addition, through the argumentation of solving complex problems together, the students could be further engaged in the class, and the actual empirical context enriched the understanding of concepts. However, reasoning in argumentation was mostly not a statistical one, but a mathematical one centered around probability problem-solving. Through these results of the study, it was noted that the teachers should help the students actively participate in argumentation through the task context and question, and an understanding of a statistical reasoning of interpreting the context would be necessary in order to induce their thinking and reasoning about probability and statistics.

Analysis on Opportunity-to-learn context-based tasks provided by 'Probability and Statistics' textbooks ('확률과 통계' 교과서에 제시된 맥락 기반 과제의 학습기회 분석)

  • In this paper, we analyzed the types of tasks presented in the 'Probability and Statistics' textbooks and how the cognitive competences required to perform the tasks provide students with opportunity-to-learn. To this end, the analysis of the 9 books of the 'Probability and Statistics' test textbooks according to the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum showed that the context-based tasks(CF type, RE type) ranged from 67.5% to 78.0% of the total number of tasks in each textbook, but the ratio of relevant and essential tasks related to real life is from 0.4% to 2.0%, it was found that most of the context-based tasks presented in the textbooks were disguised as real life materials. The cognitive competences of context-based tasks ranged from 29.6% to 50.0% in reproduction category, from 33.8% to 54.3% in connection category, and from 8.8% to 20.0% in reflection category. As a result, there was not enough opportunity-to-learn for students to experience reflective cognitive processes.

  • Nowadays the context-aware systems have been regarded as a promising opportunity to create differentiated e-marketplaces. Context-aware system aims to provide personalized services by understanding the user's current situation which is automatically acquired from the context data. This aim naturally leads us to a motivation to evaluate to what extent a system is context-aware. Even though lots of endeavors have stated about the level of context-aware system, a structured evaluation has been so far very rare. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a two-phased methodology for assessing context-aware systems. In the first phase, we perform a requisite analysis to discriminate a context-aware system from general or context-based systems. Once an information system is recognized as context-aware system, then level of collaboration, mobility and embeddedness is derived to determine the level of context-aware system in the second phase. To do so, device collaboration diagram (DCD) is proposed to visualize the system architecture. Moreover, readiness and level of system are Jointly considered in the phase to provide a development strategy for each context-aware system development project. To show the feasibility of the idea proposed in this paper, legacy context-aware systems are actually analyzed and evaluated.

  • This paper presents a cosmological perturbation analysis in a Newtonian framework, using the Newtonian multi component version of the relativistic covariant equations. This work considers the fully nonlinear evolution of the perturbations, and is generalized to multicomponent systems and imperfect fluids. Known nonlinear solutions are presented in a general framework. Quasi-nonlinear analysis, considering both the compressible and rotational modes, is presented, including cases already known in the literature. The Fourier space representation of the conservation equations is also derived in a general context, with various decompositions of the velocity field. Commonly accepted cosmogonical frameworks are critically examined in the context of nonlinear evolution. This work may be regarded as the Newtonian counterpart of a recently presented general relativistic covariant formulation.

  • This study proposes and demonstrates the value of user - centered design methodology based on linguistic analysis. The results of the proposed user behavioural analysis framework suggested that the syntactic structure between the sentence structure and its components could be a logical basis for explaining the user's situation and behavior. Based on this, the definitions and classifications of user interactions and user contexts were conducted in a microscopically context. User behavior has also been established to identify pattern structures of purposeful nature and constitutes a user behavior sequence that prioritizes them. Next, the User Experience Analysis Framework was derived by defining the relationship between User Behavior and User Behavior and User Context and User Context. To verify the framework of the framework, a professional assessment was conducted to conduct a review of the user's experience and conduct a study of the framework of the framework and conduct of the framework of the framework of the framework and practical utility of the framework.   • Recently, new cyber threats targeting new technologies are increasing, and hackers' attack targets are becoming broader and more intelligent. To counter these attacks, major security companies are using traditional EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) solutions. However, the conventional method does not consider the context, so there is a limit to the accuracy and efficiency of responding to an advanced attack. In order to improve this problem, the need for a security solution centered on XDR (Extended Detection and Response) has recently emerged. In this study, we present effective threat detection and countermeasures in a changing environment through XDR trends and development roadmaps using machine learning-based context analysis.

  • 계층적 개념구조는 대상 도메인으로부터 지식을 표현하는데 있어서 간결하면서도 효과적으로 개념간의 구조를 설명하기 위해 사용되고, 데이터의 구조화와 요약을 제공하며 필요한 정보의 수월한 접근을 제공하기 위해 널리 적용되고 있다. 그러나, 대상도메인으로부터 계층적 개념구조를 구축하기 위해서는 많은 시간과 노력이 요구된다. 따라서 계층적 개념구조를 효율적으로 구축하기 위한 체계가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 계층적 개념구조를 체계적으로 구축하기 위한 형식개념분석기법(FCA, Formal Concept Analysis)을 토대로, Many-valued context와 Scaling을 자동화하기 위한 도구로써 본 연구에서 개발된 FCA Wizard를 소개한다.

Radioactive waste sampling for characterisation - A Bayesian upgrade

  • Presented in this paper is a methodology for combining a Bayesian statistical approach with Data Quality Objectives (a structured decision-making method) to provide increased levels of confidence in analytical data when approaching a waste boundary. Development of sampling and analysis plans for the characterisation of radioactive waste often use a simple, one pass statistical approach as underpinning for the sampling schedule. Using a Bayesian statistical approach introduces the concept of Prior information giving an adaptive sample strategy based on previous knowledge. This aligns more closely with the iterative approach demanded of the most commonly used structured decision-making tool in this area (Data Quality Objectives) and the potential to provide a more fully underpinned justification than the more traditional statistical approach. The approach described has been developed in a UK regulatory context but is translated to a waste stream from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station to demonstrate how the methodology can be applied in this context to support decision making regarding the ultimate disposal option for radioactive waste in a more global context.

The Influences of the Context of Discrepant Events on the Conceptual Change Process Using Cognitive Conflict Strategy (불일치 사례의 맥락이 인지 갈등 전략을 이용한 개념 변화 과정에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, the influences of the context of discrepant events on the conceptual change process using cognitive conflict strategy were investigated in terms of students' cognitive and motivational variables such as cognitive conflict, situational interest, attention, effort, conceptual understanding. A preconception test was administered to 536 seventh graders. A test of response to a discrepant event and a situational interest questionnaire were then administered. The context of discrepant events, either scientific or everyday, was randomly presented to the subjects. After learning the concept of density, the tests of attention, effort, and conceptual understanding were administered. The reponses of 194 students who had been found to possess the target misconception were analyzed. The results revealed that the scientific-context discrepant event induced higher cognitive conflict than everyday-context one. The context of discrepant events, however, did not show significant correlations with situational interest, attention, effort, and/or conceptual understanding. The result of path analysis indicated that the context of discrepant events both directly influenced cognitive conflict and indirectly influenced conceptual understanding via cognitive conflict.
