An Application-embedded method to trace OTT viewing patterns on smartphone (스마트폰에서의 OTT(Over The Top)서비스 시청패턴 추적 어플리케이션 설계 : 티빙(tving)을 중심으로)

  • This study focuses on the fact that a OTT service is vigorously used for smart phones, and suggests a design of method to trace the experiences of watching television contents. For this purpose, we developed logging functions and embedded them into existing OTT service application to record flow and pattern of watching context. This paper suggests a log file format which can accurately and precisely record watching actions of users per-second methodology rather than former per-minute methodology. Moreover, this study shows that the application can trace watching attitude according to occurring events by characteristics and playing modes of realtime broadcasting, VOD, advertisement contents. In addition, based on the result of the study, this paper discusses educational, operational meaning of the method such as methodological application in mobile ethnography field or survey for total screening rate.

Leisure Activities, Leisure Satisfaction and Happiness among the Korean: Utilizing Data of National Statistics (한국인의 여가활동과 여가만족 및 행복: 국가통계자료 이용)

  • This study is to analyze the relationship between leisure activities, leisure satisfaction and happiness among the Korean. To attain the goal of the study described above paragraphs, this study utilized the survey data on the condition of Korean leisure activities performed by Korea Culture Tourism Research Institute. The number of samples are total 3,051 peoples. The conclusion drawn from this study is as follows: First, leisure satisfaction and happiness has a difference according to socio-demographic characteristics and leisure type. Second, the degree of leisure activities influence on the leisure satisfaction. Third, the degree of leisure activities influence on the happiness. Fourth, leisure satisfaction influence on the happiness.

Comparative Analysis on the Priority of Educational Needs in Curriculum of Departments related to Airline Service (항공관련학과 교과과정에 대한 교육요구도 비교분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the priority of curriculums on students preparing to become flight attendants using paired t-test, Borich method, and Herschknowiz's criticality function. As a result of this study, it was discovered that what flight attendants and students needed to study the most were foreign language subjects as English, Chinese, and Japanese. Therefore, a department of universities related to airline service should develop new curriculum to adapt to the trend of globalization. Also, flight attendants need curriculum including subjects related to tourism as an introduction to airline service. This means that the role of flight attendants needs to be expanded and specialized. In conclusion, a department related airline service should try to elevate its quality of education and design curriculum which will help flight attendants become specialists in their field.

A study on design trend in rural amenity planing shown in Rural Amenity Design Competition (농촌 어메니티 환경설계 공모전을 통해 본 농촌환경설계 경향 연구)

  • Rural Amenity Design Competition is opened every year since 2003 having an intention of improving spatial design and planning of rural area through developing values of rural amenity resources and applying in that area. The subject of this competition is broad and there's no limit in locations so that various solutions and original ideas could be proposed. This research examined 165 prizewinning works of the competition and analyzed the locations and areas, aims, main resources, spatial planning contents and experience programs to find out trends of rural spatial design. According to the study, the prizewinning works tends to 1) include spatial plan for an existing village planning, 2) aim rural tourism for citizens and increasement of resident's incomes, 3) develop vegetation and agricultural resources, 4) plan for natural landscape, commercialization of local special productions and agriculture, and 5) propose ecological experience programs. The same theme of the competition repeated every year had led to advanced design skills but also a stagnant of design contents. A subject and a main goal of the Rural Amenity Design Competition should be departmentalized each time hereafter to make for the weak points and propose progressive direction for the rural spatial design.

Quality Characteristics of Beef Jerky made with Beef meat of various Places of Origin (쇠고기 원산지 차이에 의한 육포의 품질 특성)

  • This paper aims to compare and evaluate the quality of beef jerky made with Korean beef meat, Korean beef cattle and imported beef meat from Australia and New Zealand through sensory evaluation, measurement of hardness, thickness and contents of the moisture and crude lipid, and microscopic texture observation (SEM). According to the sensory evaluation, beef jerky made with Korean beef meat recorded the highest score in overall acceptability; New Zealand beef meat, the lowest. The preference of beef jerky made with Korean beef meat was shown in the appearance, smell, and texture, and especially in the taste. Whereas Korean beef jerky scored highest in color, glaze and palatability, New Zealand beef meat showed the lowest score. Korean beef meat showed the lowest in hardness, but New Zealand beef meat showed the highest as shown in the result of technical evaluation through rheometer. The evaluation through colormeter concluded that New Zealand beef meat had the highest scores in L and a values, but that Korean beef meat showed the lowest score. When it comes to the color difference compared with Korean beef meat, New Zealand beef meat showed the biggest difference. Although the moisture contents of jerky made with different beef meat showed little difference, the content of the crude lipid of jerky made with Korean beef meat and Australian beef meat was lower than that of Korean beef cattle and New Zealand beef meat. When the beef jerky is dry, fat contained in the beef meat is dissolved, which causes the glaze on the outside. Scanning electron micrographs showed that Korean and Australian beef jerky had larger gaps than Korean beef cattle and New Zealand beef jerky. It was concluded that this affected the hardness of beef jerky.

Determinants of Effectiveness in Food Safety Policy -Focusing on the Perception of Consumers- (불량식품 근절정책의 효과성 영향요인 분석 -소비자의 인식을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the determinants of the effectiveness in food safety policy, focusing on the perception of consumers. For this, we apply ordered logit analysis using "The Survey on the Attitudes towards Food Safety Policy" data investigated by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism & Ministry of Food, and Drug Safety. According to the results of the analysis, policy literacy has a significant positive impact on the effectiveness of the policy. Trust has a positive impact on the effectiveness of the policy significantly. In addition, the results show that sensitivity has a significant negative impact on the effectiveness perceived by consumers. This study imply that the government should give more information about policies and make an effort to gain trust on food safety policy.

A Study on the Convergence Relativity of the Combining Curved Forms of Tall Buildings (초고층빌딩의 비정형 곡면형태 조합 및 복합관계에 관한 연구)

  • Globally, more super-tall buildings tend to be constructed competitively in the social and economic foundations. In the circumstance, this study is aimed at establishing a paradigm of super-tall buildings in terms of their various forms. Symbolizing a city or state, super-tall buildings not only are used as resources of tourism, but play an important role as a characteristic landmark. Therefore, it is necessary to find a curved form for a futuristic perspective. The purpose of this study is to infer the convergence relativity of curved forms among complex and diverse unstructured construction forms. This study used as subjects 50 super-tall buildings among the ranking data selected Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) in order for the basis of constructability related to actual design, rather than the way of recognizing a formative type, in the classification of curved forms into regularized surfaces, developable surfaces, and double-curved surfaces. The results of this study are presented as follows. This classification can be used as a fundamental material which is reasonably involved in the design process pursuing diverse curved surfaces in terms of design of tall buildings.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of Airline Partner Organization members ' perception of supply chain management characteristics on the satisfaction of the relationship and to verify the parameter effectiveness of collaboration. An empirical study was conducted through survey techniques to achieve the objectives of the study. Research has shown that the factors for building trust, immersion, and sharing of vision tables, other than information sharing, are significant prerequisites for collaboration. We have identified statistically significant effects of collaborative factor on relationship satisfaction factor. Additionally, it was confirmed that there was a parameter effect between supply chain management characteristics recognition and relationship satisfaction by testing the effectiveness of the collaboration.

  • Korean Film Council (KOFIC) is entrusted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Republic of Korea, aiming to support and promote Korean films. With the government's policy for balanced regional development, KOFIC head office will be relocated to Busan. Busan is famous for the Busan International film Festival and their effort for Korean film industry. Until now, the Korean film industry is concentrated on the Seoul metropolitan areas. With the relocation of KOFIC, it is the time for KOFIC to recognize and promote and Busan as the Second key Cluster of Korean film industry. With the cooperation with Busan Film Commission, KOFIC needs to set up the new promotion plan for Korean film industry for future including building new film production studio, raising regional film production fund, and scouting new talented filmmakers.

Core Demand Market by Visitor's Characteristics of Mountain Types of a National Park -focused on Demographic and Social Economical Factors- (국립공원 방문객 특성을 이용한 핵심수요시장연구 -인구통계학적 변인과 사회경제학적 변인을 중심으로-)

  • This research aims to offer the information required for demand increase on marketing strategy level by investigating Mudeungsan visitors' demographic characteristics and social economical variables. To accomplish this study, the proper analyzing model needs to be applied because a grave error of parameters will be led if regression model appropriate for analyzing the data of a continuous probability variable is applied, in case that dependent variable is a discrete random variable which have a discrete probability distribution. Therefore data analysis was performed with Poisson model. However, as the data was showing an overdispersion, parameter was estimated with the Binomial Poisson model able to cover the problem. As a result, some explanatory variables turned out to be significant such as visitor's age, occupation, preferred season to visit, type of company, five days working, and preferring type of tourism. Author could offer to the national park the information about characteristics of core market revealed and marketing strategy for it, based on those influential variables.
