  • The problem of promoting instructional effect using reorganizing the content of textbook is one of the major concerns of many education theorists and teachers. The results of many researches about above problem reveal that reorganizing the content of textbook promotes the ability of recall and problem solving of learners. The content structure of current navigation textbook revealed a categorical structure as its basic framework, though it seems to be a poor one. A categorical structure is known as providing an inferior information processing mechanism for learners than a learning hierarchy content structure is. Furthermore current content structure hasn't given any considerations to navigation in practice, spatial contexts and sequential events of ships from a harbor to another harbor. The learning hierarchy content structure has an advantage of giving learners more systematic and stronger knowledge networks than a categorical structure.

  • This paper aims to propose a framework of content creating group with creativity under new convergence environments. The framework is built based on content concept hierarchy(deep/surface) relating with the creativity of group members. The diversity of group members(potential creativity) decrease and change into creative abilities in one unified view at each content concept hierarchy in time. To do this, three methods of building a creative group(interaction-base, direction-base, hybrid) are proposed. Cooperating processes and operators are designed to promote creative abilities in the content producing group. These cooperations are considering new media convergence industry's job road map(IPTV) and fundamental content attributes(semantic, narrative, discourse). In the framework, creative content is produced with the help of member's cultural openness, media richness and synchronicity, hierachical adaptability on dissimilarity. Deep level creativity of cognitive semiotics on moving image content is composed of psychological, transformational, situational creating abilities in the structure of group members. Designing analogy, metaphor, symbol operators help members to traverse deep structure of content concept hierarchy. Our framework has strong points to relate fundamental content deep structure with structure of content producing group and to induce creativity on cognitive structure of human being.

  • Fundamental studies of microstructural changes and high temperature deformation of titanium aluminide (TiAl) were conducted from the view point of the effect of Al content in order to develop the manufacturing process of TiAl. Microstructures in an as cast state consisted mainly of lamellar structure irrespective of Al content. By homogenization at 1473 K, the microstructures of Ti-49Al and Ti-51Al were transformed into an equiaxial structure which was composed of ${\gamma}$-TiAl, while the lamellar structure that was observed in Ti-46Al and Ti-47Al was much more stable. We found that the reduction of Al content suppressed the formation of equiaxial grains and resulted in a microstructure of only a lamellar structure. On Ti-49Al and Ti-51Al, dynamic recrystallization occurred during high temperature deformation, and the microstructure was transformed into a fine equiaxial one, while the microstructures of Ti-46Al and Ti-47Al contained few recrystallized grains and consisted mainly of a deformed lamellar structure. We observed that on the low-Al alloys the lamellar structure under hard mode deformation conditions deformed as kink observed B2-NiAl. High temperature deformation characteristics of TiAl were strongly affected by Al content. An increase of Al content resulted in a decrease of peak stress and activation energy for plastic deformation and an increase of the recrystallization ratio in TiAl.

  • In this paper, we propose the mobile P2P structure supporting content searches for mobile peers efficiently. The proposed mobile P2P structure is a 3-tier structure which consists of a mobile peer, a mobile super peer, and a stationary super peer to reduce the content search cost of mobile P2P service. For content searches, mobile peer searches content in the communication range and performs hierarchical content searches which is using mobile super peer, stationary super peer for expansion of query region. In order to support hierarchial content searches and the continuity of services according to peer mobilities, peer's join/leave processes are explicitly stored by supporting message structures to the upper layer It is shown through experimental evaluation that the proposed structure improves about 32% contents search performance over the existing 2-tier structure. Since it also reduces the messages transferred to the stationary super peers, it reduced about 25% search loads of them.

  • Intelligent Content is defined as detailed information or fragment of content which contains a semantic data structure. This semantic structure makes possible to do various intelligent operations. There are wide range of content-oriented applications such as classification, retrieval, extraction, translation, presentation and question-answering. The concept of Intelligent Content is applied to various fields like MPEG and Semantic Web. In this paper, we discuss the several important researches of Intelligent Content and how to apply this conception to these fields.

  • The purpose of this paper is to provide the comprehensive review of empirical investigations in strategy content in healthcare organizations. Given the absence of relevant reviews in assessing an external validity of strategy content research in the healthcare industry, the paper, by taking convergent view, discern two main streams of research in the school of content: (1) the strategy-structure-performance (SSP) contingent, and (2) competitive strategies which test the propositions that business strategy, industry structure (IO economics). Finally, the paper suggests some future direction for research in this area.

  • The effect of carbon content on hot cracking of welded carbon steel was investigated Eight steel plates whose carbon content range from 0.02 to 0.23 percent were welded by autogeous gas tungsten are process. Constant strain was applied to the hot crack test specimen under the strain rate of 0.15 mm per second during welding. The hot cracking susceptibility ws high in the rnage of 0.02-0.05 and 0.12-0.23 percent carbon contents. The critical carbon content immune to hot cracking is in the range from 0.07 to 0.12 percent carbon. By electron probe microanalyser, amanganese segregation was not seen significantly in the whole carbon range. But segregation of silicon was higher in the region of low carbon contents. However, sulphur was segregated remarkably in the region betwen 0.18 and 0.23 percent carbon by peritectic reaction. Very smal lamount of dnedritic structure was observed in the region from 0.02 to 0.05 percent carbon by peritectic reaction. Very small amount of dendritic structure was observed in the region from 0.02 to 0.05 percent carbon but the predominant solidification structure was smooth by cellular growth. The higher the carbon content is, the more the columnar dendritic structure was observed.

  • In these days the online full-text database are increasing, but conventional full-text information retrieval system has been proved with high recall ratio and low precision ratio. One of the disadvantages of full-text IR system is that it is not designed to reflect the user's information need it is due to the fact that full-text IR system has been designed based on physical and logical structure of document without considering the content of document. Therefore, the purpose of the study examined feasibility of document content structure in full-text IR system by resolving such disadvantages of conventional system. 180 Journal articles have been analyzed to find common structure of document content and finally general model of the structure of journal articles were developed. The result shows that have relation to between user's cogntive schema structure, user's information need and contents structure of document. Thus it is concluded that full-text IR system need to be designed by using document content structure in order to meet user's information need more effectively.

  • This Study suggests some ideas how we develop a network of content structure based on informal context and method how we decide a sequence of mathematical syllabus from those Structures. 10th grade students in the process conceptual development was observed and interviewed in 2 hour teaching and learning experiment. Three related characteristics of student's thought in structuring math. Content and sequencing it were investigated as follows : (a) the reasoning that they do reflective abstraction well(or do not well) in acquisition of conceptual knowledge. (b) the method that teacher can use resuits in (a) to organize the content structure. (c) the ways that teacher find the process knowledge in informal content structure. That is, this study investigated the way we, curriculum designer, can create well defined content structure and instructional sequence strongly based on the learners' understanding.
