본 연구의 목적은 베를린 현대미술에서 예술매체로서의 패션이 어떠한 미적 역할을 수행하고 있는지 율리우스 폰 비스마르크와 히토 슈타이얼의 작품을 중심으로 분석하는 데 있다. 연구 목적을 실현하기 위한 연구 문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 베를린 현대미술과 현대패션의 특징은 무엇인가이다. 둘째, 율리우스 폰 비스마르크와 히토 슈타이얼 작품의 특징은 무엇이며, 작품에 내재된 패션의 예술매체적 속성은 무엇인가이다. 셋째, 베를린 현대미술에 활용된 패션 매체의 속성은 어떻게 도출되는가이다. 본 연구의 연구 방법은 문헌연구, 내용분석, 사례분석이다. 본 연구의 결과 베를린의 현대미술은 기술 미디어의 본질과 사회적 의미에 대한 성찰을 바탕으로 한 실험적 예술성이 특징이었고, 베를린 현대패션은 첨단 기술로 만들어진 기능성 소재와 문화 콘텐츠를 생산하는 매체로서의 패션이 특징이었다. 베를린의 현대미술 작가들은 패션에 내재한 예술매체적 속성을 활용하여 창작을 하는데, 대표 작가인 율리우스 폰 비스마르크와 히토 슈타이얼의 작품에는 동시대적 반사회성, 메타포적 연극성, 물질적·비물질적 알고리즘성이라는 패션의 예술매체적 속성이 내재하였다.

현대 도예 예술은 새로운 예술 형식으로서 그에 상응하는 도자기 전시 방법이 요구되는데 전시 공간의 디자인과 전시 방식을 어떻게 활용하여 관객들에게 현대 도예작품의 시각 경험과 다양한 정보를 전달할 것인가에 대한 문제는 전시공간 디자인에서의 일차적인 주요 문제라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 현대 도예 예술 전시 공간 디자인의 특성에 초점을 맞추고 있는데 이는 현대 도예작품 전시 공간 디자인에 관한 연구가 부족한 문제점을 해결하고 현대 도예 작품에서 최고의 전시효과를 달성하는 것을 목표로 진행한다. 첫째, 선행 연구의 내용을 요약하고 후속 연구를 위한 이론 근거를 제시하였다. 둘째, 경덕진 도자기 대학교 미술관에서 개최한 <도자기의 정신> 2021 경덕진 국제 도예 예술 비엔날레 현장과 전시자료, 그리고 전시공간자료 등과 관련하여 현장답사를 진행한 후, 인간공학 관점에서 공간의 전체적인 배치와 전시공간의 형태 등을 고찰하고 분석하여 경덕진 도자기 대학교 미술관의 전시공간의 전체적인 배치의 과학적 통일성과 전시공간의 형태적 디자인의 유연성과 지속가능성을 도출하였다. 본 연구에서 얻은 이론 지식은 현대 도예 예술 전시공간의 디자인을 위한 이론 지침에 도움을 줄 수 있어 중요한 실천적 가치를 가진다. 실내 공공 공간 디자인 실천을 위한 지침 제공은 중요한 실용적 의의가 있으며 더 나아가 중국 및 세계 현대 도예 예술 전시공간 디자인의 발전에 도움을 줄 수 있다.

In contemporary society, spa has become one of the important healing spaces. As the present urban life has been more and more complex and competitive, space of recreation and healing are dramatically increased in terms of its number as well as location. In the past, there were three kinds of spa visitors. The first was the people who visited spas for medical reasons. The second was the people who visited spas for leisure and refreshment. The third was for social gatherings like in the ancient Rome. In present time, these three reasons are mixed together. As the spa program became rich and various, visitors tends to seek an appropriate spa environment that suits their needs. This is the main background for contemporary spa designs. In any case, concept of healing has been always the core element in spa. Light and sense have vital role to make a unique spa design. This paper aims to study different light and sense applications in contemporary spa designs. Specific focus is to find how light and sense in spa designs act to create a healing environment. 4 spa projects built in Europe after 2000 were selected and were analyzed based on the 4 light and sense characteristics. In conclusion, case analysis was summarized to suggest future possibilities.

Contemporary architecture has a tendency to concretely approach based on the concept of Deuleuze's 'fold' diversity problems creating continuously potential diversities within Post-structural paradigm. Contemporary architecture relates to human life through its relation with human being. The research investigates through case study the possible relation of the concept of Deulezue's 'fold', one of his concepts of 'unfolding' based on Monadology, with logic of creation that constructs a space in contemporary architectural space. Eight contemporary architectural spaces since 1990 with architectural embodiment of Deulezue's 'fold' concept have been selected as cases. Based on the fact that the potential possibility of a space can be embodied by the thinking of 'fold', the research draws four physical activities such as 'properties connection', 'beyond border', 'diversity of circulation' and 'potential opportunity', through which it studies on the principle of actualization of space creation. Consideration of metaphysical theory as a pre-modern and outdated one may lose a huge potentiality. Leibniz's metaphysics can be rediscovered as a model that provides diverse potentiality. The concept of 'fold' in Monadology needs be reconsidered because it possibly suggests a methodology that embodies through the actualization of space the meanings underlain in contemporary architectural space.

The meaning of the characteristics of formative expression in contemporary residential architecture is flowing elements as important means to inbreathe emotional feeling of movement and as automatic and positive wats of expression. So the purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of formative expression in contemporary residential architecture, and to plan residential design linked with this kind of concept. For this study, analysis of case studies were used and the cases were selected in contemporary residential architecture which were represented having formative expressions since 2005. The major results found that the characteristics of formative expression were ex-center, reiteration, dispersibility, diagonality, plasticity, non-linearity, and deconstruction. In addition to that, we derived various methods expressing the formative characteristics, which were mass transformation, plan variation and composition element transformation. Summing these results up, the various characteristics of formative expression in contemporary residential architecture are understood as the results of the free modeling will of architects fulfilled with the spirit of inquiry and experiment to escape from the standard architecture in order to differentiate themselves.

Within globalization of fashion business Korean culture is affecting fashion business. Although Korean culture is creating new content and economic value presently, the research on Korean fashion culture has been limited. Therefore, this study has identified attributes influencing cognitive, affective response as well as consumer preference and purchase towards contemporary Korean culture clothing. This study aims to do the following: (1) examine the effect of the identified contemporary cultural apparel product attributes on cognitive, affective response (2) Analyze the effect of cognitive, affective response on preference and purchase intention (3) Determine the relationship between preference and purchase intention. This study result defines the importance of studying contemporary cultural apparel product attributes for better fashion marketing business in the fashion and cultural field to attract consumers.

In contemporary design conditions, the focus of landscape architecture has shifted from 'form' to 'process.' Various experimental diagrams have been proposed to overcome the limitations of conventional form-oriented landscape design. This study aims to reconsider theoretically and critically the modes and mechanism of diagrams in recent landscape architectural design. It also explores the operational capabilities of diagram in design process. Although the traditional diagram has served as explanatory and representational graphics in design, contemporary designers emphasize the generative function of diagram on the basis of Gilles Deleuze's theory of 'diagram as abstract machine.' They manifest and practise that diagrams call generate forms and proliferate spaces in their design development. This paper examines current examples of generative and constructive diagrams produced by leading designers. However, the author illuminates another significance of diagram: the diagram as strategic media of design. Contemporary environments and conditions of design, such as the complexity of city and the interactivity of new economy, call for new design intelligence and strategic design. These situations require alternative media in design process. In this context, the diagram can function as strategic media of dynamic and flexible design. This is why contemporary landscape theory and practice have to give attention to diagrams.

A variety of attempts for trends to overcome the limits of the uniform styles and a fixed dichotomous structure and thoughts, have been made. This research aims to apply and analyze the application of concepts of the liminal space of contemporary architecture based on the destructive inclination of post-structuralism and the theories of philosophers. Space of the past was recognized for a long time focused on functions and styles that support the building. In modern and contemporary spaces, however, the boundary of contemporary space has been blurred with the mingling of cultural phenomenon. In other words, new architectural approaches of expression have been attempted such as structure, styles and materials, in combination of diversified concepts. And, the concept of liminal space is useful to identify the multi-layered and fluid characteristics. This study examines various characteristics of expression on the liminal space characteristics of comtemporary architecture tbased on Herzog and de Meuron's architecture. The result will help us understand the expression and characteristics of the liminal space that belongs nowhere among their architectural spaces. The analysis of the ases of Herzog and de Meuron will play a crucial role in developing new possibilities of modern space and contemporary space of the future.

Contemporary society is a digital and information-oriented society and a change by digital and information-oriented has made a new society principle and creature. The principle and creature has made society changed having influence on office space. The 21st century business space attachs great importance to the public space as the value of work place, namely, the place of gathering and client meeting which is society space and a thing which grants it with the biggest investment worth is a new order. This kind of society change has been making an appearance in contemporary office space as features of Narrative, Nodal, Neighbourly, Nomadic. These kinds of trends which are not exclusive mutually are stipulated as new trials to business space holding a lot of overriding features in common. These kinds of features brought into relief according to society change can be seen as key words speaking for contemporary office space and have a significance to contemplate and study for the office space of a new concept made an appearance together with society change. It is expected to contribute to revitalization programs with the far-reaching effect of understanding about ideal office work circumstances and work shape which the 21st century wants standing on the features of these new concepts.

In contemporary fashion metal have used which is as the material with a sufficient potentiality of expression which is displayed by an unique characteristic involved only in metal. In this paper metal expressed in contemporary fashion is researched. The first thing the formative characteristic of metal is researched under the consideration of type technique and color of metal used in contemporary fashion. Metals such as gold silver bronze aluminum thin lead and iron are usually used in fashion and those metals are used in various types such a thread fabric board leaf a and cable. Those types of metal as above are applied to the clothing by the techniques of weaving embroidering metal leaf printing or moulding which gives the formative characteristic to the clothing. In color metal has an effect on the colors of surroundings by its smooth and unique luster and its effect of reflection and produces the visual formative characteristic through the effects of contrast. The esthetic will of metal expressed in modern fashion is researched in this study under the facts studied as above. first metal expresses the future oriented esthetic Second metal has the characteristic of attracting the attention Third metal is used as valid techniques to express the artistic formation for clothing escaping from the idea that the clothing is only for wearing. Finally metal is used as an anti-cultural tool of fighting against the existing order or spirit.
