  • 무선 스마트카드는 빌딩 보안 어플리케이션에 주된 역할을 하고 있다. 본 연구는 사용자에게 보다 편리함을 주고 스마트카드 시스템의 성능 개선을 제안한다. 스마트카드는 카드 리더기에 삽입을 하지 않고 장치에서 수센티미터 떨어져도 접근이 허용된다. 적응형 변조와 오류 제어를 통해 전력소비를 제어하는 성능은 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 적응형 리드 솔로몬 코드 기반의 FEC와 링크에서 M계수를 변화시킨 M-FSK변조에 대하여 연구한다. 적응형 변조와 적응형 오류 정정은 다른 다양한 정적스키마와 에너지 효율을 비교한 결과 50% 이상 에너지를 저장한다.

  • This study proposes a new conceptual Hybrid Electric Brake System (HEBS) which overcomes the problems of the conventional hydraulic brake system. The HEBS uses the contactless brake system when vehicle speed is high to obtain superior braking force by eddy current, which is induced in pole area by magnetic flux through a rotating conductive disk. On the contrary, when a vehicle speed is low, contact type brake system such as conventional hydraulic brake system makes higher braking force.   • In this paper, with loosely coupled transformer series-parallel resonant type DC/DC converter is analyzed. To get more efficient operating mode of the series-parallel resonant type DC/DC converter, theoretical analysis using normalized parameters are accepted. The proposed converter must be operated in Pulse Frequency Modulation(PFM) switching pattern for the Zero Voltage Switching(ZVS) operation. According to PFM control method, the output voltage of the proposed circuit can be controlled.

  • Electrostatic forces have an advantage of directly levitating not only non-ferromagnetic metals but also semiconductors, such as silicon wafers, and dielectric materials like glass. This paper describes the characteristics of electrostatic forces and electrostatic suspension system, followed by the basic principle of 1-DOF(degree of freedom) electrostatic suspension system, and the structures of electrodes-for-suspension and voltage supplying methods to the electrodes in 1-DOF model. This paper also discuss about the minimum number of electrodes needed to control n-DOF motion of the suspended object and represents some desirable electrode patterns to stabilize the 6-DOF motion of the object. In the near future, electrostatic suspension system is expected to be applied to industrial manufacturing processes, for example, to the manufacture of semiconductor devices and/or flat panel display devices.

  • This study proposes a new conceptual Hybrid Electric Brake System (HEBS) which overcomes problems of a conventional hydraulic brake system. HEBS adopt a contactless type bake system when a vehicle speed is high, to obtain superior braking performances by eddy current. On the contrary, when a vehicle speed is low, HEBS employs a contact type brake system such as conventional hydraulic brake system to generate higher brake force. Therefore, HEBS transfers faster the braking intention of drivers and guarantees the safety of drivers. Braking torque analysis is performed by using a mathematical model which is proposed to investigate the characteristic of a vehicle dynamics when the brake torque is applied. Optimal torque control is achieved by maintaining a desired slip corresponding to the road condition. The results show that HEBS reduces the stopping distance, saves the electric energy, and increases the stability.

  • Usually, large-sized buses and trucks have a very high load. In addition, frequent braking during downhill or long-distance driving, causes the conventional method using the brake friction to have a problem in safety because of brake fade and brake burst phenomenon. Auxiliary brakes dividing the braking load is essential. Hence, environment-friendly auxiliary brakes, such as contactless brake rather than the engine auxiliary brake system are needed. A study aimed at improving the energy efficiency by recharging electric energy with changing mechanical to electrical energy that occurs when braking is actively in progress. In this paper, the voltage control method is utilized to recover the electric energy generated in the electromagnetic retarder instead of the eddy current. To regenerate the braking energy into the electrical energy, the resonant L-C circuit is configured in the retarder. The voltage generated in the retarder is simply modeled as a transformer. However, retarder voltage control in this paper is simulated by modeling the induction generator because this induction generator modeling is more practical than transformer modeling. The changes in the voltage of the resonance circuit, which depends on the switch pulse duration of the control device, were analyzed. A PI controller algorithm to control this voltage is proposed. The feasibility of modeling retarder and voltage controller are shown by using MATLAB Simulink in this paper.

The Effect of the Project Learning Method on the Learning Flow and AI Efficacy in the Contactless Artificial Intelligence Based Liberal Arts Class

  • 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 비전공자 대상의 인공지능 교양 교육을 위한 프로젝트 학습법을 적용한 후 교육적 효과를 파악하고자 한다. 실험집단과 통제집단 각각의 학습몰입, 인공지능 효능감의 향상 정도를 파악하기 위하여 각 집단 내에서 대응표본 t-검정을 실시하였고, 수업 후 실험집단과 통제집단의 학습몰입과 인공지능 효능감에 대한 사전검사와 사후검사의 통계적 효과를 알아보기 위해 독립표본 t-검정을 실시하였다. 그 결과 실험집단과 통제집단은 각각 수업 전과 후 학습몰입과 인공지능 효능감에서 유의미한 향상을 보였다. 인공지능 수업에서 프로젝트 학습방법을 적용한 실험군과 이론과 실습만 진행한 통제집단 간의 학습몰입은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었지만, 프로젝트 학습방법을 적용한 실험집단은 이론과 실습만 진행한 통제집단에 비해 인공지능의 효능감이 유의미한 수준으로 향상되었음을 확인하였다.

  • 기존의 기계적인 점화장치를 전자식 점화장치로 대치한 엔진 제어시스템에 대하여 연구하였다. 점화차단기(Breaker)의 기계적인 접점을 없애고, 무접점 magnetic pick up sensor를 사용하여 속도신호 및 크랭크축의 기준점을 얻은 후, 연소 효률을 높이기 위하여 점화코일의 2차측 spark 전압을 종래의 10000∼15000볼트로 부터 30000∼40000볼트로 높이고 에너지 점화장치(High Energy Ignition System)을 설계 개발하여 실장시험(field test)을 행하였고, 점화시간의 조정을 위하여 종래의 기계적인 진각장치 대신에 microprocessor를 사용하여 엔진속도 및 흡입기관의 진공도(intake manifold vacuum)에 의한 점화시기 데이타가 결정되도록 하는 방법을 연구하였다.

Quantitative In-line NIR measurements of papers

  • For NIR measurements of papers normally diffuse reflectance accessories are used which can provide a large sampling area. The in-line process control FT-NIR spectrometer MATRIX-E enables the contactless measurement of paper samples of low silicone coat weights on label-stocks in a paper converting factory. For this study concentrations of silicone between 0 and 2 g/$m^2$ on various paper substrates were included in a quantitative method. The aim was to achieve an absolute value for the deviation from the target value of 1 g/$m^2$ during continuous movement of the paper with velocities around 400 numinute. Influences from the uncoated paper type due to supplier, color, opacity, area densities, pre-coating as well as different compounds of the agent silicone were investigated and it was found that all these papers can be represented in one PLS-model. Especially the fact that silicone as an element is present in clay coated papers is of no consequence to the measurements with MATRIX-E. Moreover during in-line installations the variation of the moisture contents in the moving paper due to variable machine velocities as well as the reflecting material of the cylinder have to be considered. It is shown that the result of the in-line calibration has the same prediction ability compared to lab scale results(Root Mean Square Error of Cross-Validation RMSECV = 0.034 g/$m^2$).
