  • The project control system based on the actual values of three objects shall be operated continuously in a timely manner. For collecting/tracking accurate actual performance data, a reasonable basis of measuring work performance and its related measuring methods are needed. Therefore, this research proposes a method of developing and operating the construction progress measurement system. The problem of the conventional method is the difficulty to construct control accounts and to define the basis of measuring the performance of each control account. Therefore, this research proposes the preferable, formal methodology that produces the progress value of the smallest work unit by surveying the installed quantities and estimates percent complete of groups of works or entire project by earned value concept. This research in connection with the hereafter research of the weight value of control accounts will contribute to apply in practice and to develop the scientific construction management technique in the construction industry. Further researches how to trend and forecast the project using the measured progress value are recommended for putting the prosed system of this research to practical use.

  • Recently, the demand for energy efficiency improvement technology through the connection of waste heat energy and SmartGrid has been increasing. Thus, investments for the cultivation of high value crops and produce is increasing through research aimed at synthetic technology in real-time utilization of smart farms and waste heat energy with the concept of using container greenhouses and plant factories. In this aspect, we have carried out research on a practical application technology that will help farmers to increase the economic effectiveness of LED based plant factories in terms of energy efficiency. This can provide opportunities to connect with the large scale automated smart farms in the future. In this study, we focused on the economic effectiveness of crop cultivation using cooling technology in a container greenhouse through waste heat energy. Hereafter, in order to further advance the technology of real-time monitoring/control of the absorption chiller which is used through the container greenhouses and waste heat energy by using IOT, we would like to propose research on new ideas of agricultural technology that can maximize the utility of cooling energy by operating a mobile gateway based on Raspberry PI.

  • Drones, one of the 4th industrial technologies that are expanding from military use to industrial use, are being actively used in the search missions of the National Police Agency and finding missing persons, thereby reducing interest in a wide area and the input of large-scale search personnel. However, legal review of police drone operation is continuously required, and the importance of advanced system for related operations and analysis of captured images in connection with search techniques is increasing at the same time. In this study, in order to facilitate recording, preservation, and monitoring in the concept of precise search and monitoring, it is possible to achieve high efficiency and secure golden time when precise search is performed by constructing spatial information based on photo rather than image data-based search. Therefore, we intend to propose a spatial information construction technique that reduces the resulting data volume by adjusting the unnecessary spatial information completion rate according to the size of the subject. Through this, the scope of use of drone search missions for large-scale areas is advanced and it is intended to be used as basic data for building a drone operation manual for police searches.

  • This thesis explores Vitruvius and his impact upon other Renaissance architects who compare a city to a building or a building to a city, who match the city and the building into a human body, and who develop their own works. The objective of this study is to furnish an interpretation of their theory and practice through their literature and designs. In this point of view, this article takes notice of Vitruvius's six concepts coined from venustas and divides them into two parts: i.e. aesthetic quality (ordinatio, dispositio, and distributio) and technical activity (eurythmia, symmetria, and dˊecor) each. This thesis indicates that Vitruvius's successive impacts from the concepts bring about concrete design principles through proportional measurements, placing together, and hierarchic values for the former, as well as appropriate use through beautiful look, symmetrical harmony, and appropriate uses for the latter, tracking notions between a city as a house and vice versa, and either the ideas of the house or the city in the synthesis of the human body, which follows the perfect number and module based on the human body. The thesis shows that the representations of architecture and the city take place with the form of a circle and a square that express the religious belief and the cosmos, substantiating the connection between the proportions of the human body and numbers, and ultimately satisfying a concept of centrality, which is slowly extended to the enclosed plaza at the urban level from chambers, atrium, and corridors at the residence level.

  • In the early 20st century, created distrust on the mechanistic and dualistic view based on the world of Descartes and Newton. As the features of this new science cannot be explained by the existing Western philosophy but can be explained by the thinking system immanent in the Oriental traditional thought, many scientists and philosophers are concentrating their interests on the Oriental philosophy. In addition, some have been making efforts to find solutions needed for a new paradigm from the thinking system of the Orient. A variety of discussions have also been raised in connection with architecture due to this philosophical change. It has now become possible to conduct free creative acts, staying away from physical limitations, including gravity by diversified simulations through a computer. This physical liberation in turn has caused new changes to the spatial concept of architecture, thereby granting the freedom of the expression that could not be even imagined before and opening a possibility of new architecture and space. At the same time, the digital space architecture actively accommodating this technology is generating a phenomenon that the existing physical and realistic things are rapidly being changed gradually to immaterial and unrealistic ones. This study has analyzed the properties of digital architectural space as the immateriality of our traditional architectural space. The results are as follows: It can be seen that the immaterial features exhibited in the digital architectural space and the traditional architectural one are not just interconnected with specific features, but they are correlated to all immaterial features. Thus, immateriality that are common in the traditional and digital architectural spaces is complementary organic, which is contained in the ambiguity of boundary between other spaces. It is regarded to the architecture as a living things in space diversity based on ideological similarities.

  • Thought-action fusion (TAF) is a tendency to blindly assume causal relations between their thoughts and external reality. On the other hand, cognitive fusion (CF) is a tendency to take internal experiences, such as thoughts and feeling, literally rather than view them as random events. However, these two terms are often confusedly used and, in fact, have conceptual overlaps. Therefore, this study aimed to identify their distinctive features through a comprehensive review of the definition, origin, measurements and clinical implications especially on the understanding of obsessive-compulsive symptoms. The cognitive-behavioral concept of TAF is confined to erroneous and maladaptive beliefs about the connection between thoughts and behaviors. The CF is a broader construct that entails taking thoughts and feelings as facts and engaging or struggling with them such that the quality of life is lowered. They also have different theoretical backgrounds, developing processes and therapeutic approaches. From the perspective of the obsessive-compulsive disorder, both concepts have been studied as mid-structures for this illness. Recently, the effectiveness of psychological therapies related to these concepts such as defusion therapy has been tested. However, it is yet still in its infancy. In the future, complementary advances between the two concepts with studies on biological substrates is needed.

  • This study aims to determine the applicability of the previously published T-type modular profile beam in the manner of producing specimens designed specially for the said purpose, determining their bending and shear behaviors depending on the presence of shear reinforcement, and analyzing the results in comparison with the theoretical equation of plastic deformation. The modular profile beam contributes to bending and shear resistance with the addition of the profile to the form function, and enhances the molding performance through the modular concept. The experimental results showed that the TS series specimens with shear reinforcement have bending behaviors superior to those of the T series specimens without shear reinforcement, which suggests that the used shear reinforcement appropriately bears the shear force. However, it was considered that all the specimens except for the T1-1 specimen failed to have adequate bending performance because of the intermodular slipping caused by the shear failure of the bolts. It is expected that further studies on the T-type modular profile beam, in which shear connectors will be considered as a variable,be performed to develop optimal intermodular connection methods.

  • Textbooks play a very important role as a medium for implementing curriculum in the school. This study aims to analyze tasks for mathematical competencies in the high school 'mathematics' textbooks based on the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum emphasizing competencies. And our study is based on the following two research question. 1. What is the relationship between core competencies and mathematical competencies? 2. What is the distribution of competencies of tasks for mathematical competencies presented in the textbooks? 3. How does the tasks for mathematical competencies reflect the meaning of the mathematical competencies? For this study, the tasks, marked mathematical competencies, were analyzed by elements of each mathematical competencies based on those concept proposed by basic research for the development of the latest mathematics curriculum. The implications of the study are as follows. First, it is necessary to make efforts to strengthen the connection with core competencies while making the most of characteristics of subject(mathematics). Second, it needs to refine the textbook authorization standards, and it should be utilized as an opportunity to improve the textbook. Third, in order to realize competencies-centered education in the school, there should be development of teaching and learning materials that can be used directly.

  • The virtual reality technology is currently used classifying functional types such as the observation operation type, the experimental activity type, the learning information type, the field problem-solving type, and other different types, based on the media's characteristics implementing 3D form of multi-sensory information. Using Virtual Reality, the restoration of the 'Doksu Palace' has been grafted onto J. Keller's ARCS model, suggesting a field restoration concept that reenacts the lives of the people that had been in the field with the cultural heritage and history based on a scenario based scene direction. This paper also summarizes 3 different types of implementation of the field restoration assorting multi-scene direction. Certain limitations exist, due to the fact that a completed prototype hasn't been suggested and that a detailed notion of the housing and 3D audio connection has been omitted.
