Recently research interest in Knowledge Management (KM) has grown rapidly. Companies regard intellectual capital as important asset and strive to deploy KM in an organization to gain a competitive edge. Many organizations currently engage in knowledge management in order to leverage knowledge both within their organization and externally to their shareholders and customers. Most of the previous research related to KM are dedicated to investigate the role of information technology in extracting, capturing, sharing, coverting organizational knowledge. Knowledge workers, however, are paid less attention though they are the key players in KM activities such as knowledge creation, dissemination, capture and conversion. We regard knowledge workers as a major component of KM and starting point of understanding organizational knowledge activities. Therefore we adopt a method to understand and analyze knowldge workers' social relationships. In this paper we investigate Social Network Analysis (SNA) as a tool for analyzing knowledge network. We introduce the basic concept of SNA and suggest a framework for implementing knowledge network by explaining how SNA can be used for analyzing knowledge network. We also propose a numerical method for identifying knowledge workers using SNA after classifying knowledge workers. The suggested method is expected to help understanding key knowledge players within an organization.

Researches for stem cells have been focused on scientists in biomedical sciences as well as clinical application for its great therapeutic potentials. Stem cells have two distinct characteristics: self-renewal and differentiation. In this short review, the links between stem cell research and biomedical engineering is discussed based on the basic characteristics of stem cells. This concept can be extended to the fundamental questions of biological sciences for cells such as proliferation, apoptosis, differentiation, and migration. For understanding proliferation and apoptosis of stem cells, techniques from biomedical engineering such as surface patterning, MEMS, nanotechnologies have been used. The advanced technologies such as microfluidic technologies, three dimensional scaffold fabrication, and mechanical/electrical stimulation have also been used in cell differentiation and migration. Basic and unsolved questions in the stem cell research field have limitations by studying conventional technologies. Therefore, the strategic fusion between stem cell biology and novel biomedical engineering field will break the barriers for understanding fundamental questions of stem cells, which can open the window for the clinical applications of stem cell based therapeutics as well as regeneration of damaged tissues.

이 연구는 사회적 갑을관계, 비정규직, 노동조합, 파업, 임금 등 시의성 있는 사회 이슈를 다룬 웹툰 <송곳>을 원작으로 제작된 드라마 <송곳>의 스토리텔링을 기호학적으로 분석하였다. 먼저 소쉬르가 제시한 계열체, 통합체 개념을 바탕으로 드라마의 서사적 구조와 인물 및 소재의 특성을 파악하였다. 나아가 드라마가 사회적 이슈를 어떠한 방식으로 재현하는지, 어떠한 담론 요소를 구성하는지 알아보고자 작품 속에 투영된 이데올로기를 고찰하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 비판적 다원주의(Critical Pluralism) 접근방식으로서 기존의 지배 이데올로기를 비판하는 저항 이데올로기가 강하게 드러났다. 둘째, 성역할, 영웅, 가족 이데올로기와 같은 고전적 이데올로기를 강화하였다. 마지막으로 자기이해와 상호이해, 이기적 편향 등의 인간 성찰적 이데올로기가 확인되었다.

구조물에 대한 체계적 이해인 해부학과 그 역할에 대한 기능적 확인이라고 할 수 있는 신체 검진법은 슬관절을 진료하는 임상의로서 갖추어야 할 가장 기본적인 소양이라고 할 수 있다. 본문에서는 슬관절의 골성 구조, 반월상 연골, 전후방 십자 인대, 내외측 측부 인대, 근육, 내측 및 외측 삼층 구조 개념, 전후방 해부학, 슬관절 주위 점액낭에 대한 해부학 및 반월상 연골, 내외측 측부 인대, 전방 십자 인대, 후방 십자 인대 및 후측방 구조물에 대한 신체 검사에 대해 기술하였다. 해부학 및 신체 검진법에 대한 개념적이고 체계적인 이해는 슬관절을 치료하는 임상의에게 나침반과 등대와 같은 역할을 할 것이다.

Bisphosphonate-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (BRONJ) is a side effect of Bisphosphonates (BPs) use. These days, oral bisphosphonates are normally prescribed to treat osteoporosis. Intravenous BPs are used extensively to treat osteolytic bone lesions related to multiplemyeloma and bone metastasis of solid cancers, breast cancer or prostate cancer. As the prescription of BPs is universalized and the number of people treated with BPs is increasing, an accurate understanding and proper management of BRONJ are required. The aim of this study was to improve the clinicians' understanding of BRONJ by reviewing the literature. To achieve this, this paper introduces case reports as well as the current concept of BRONJ based on the 2009 updates by American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial (AAOMS) including the definition, epidemiology, etiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of BRONJ.

Mathematics subject of the seventh national curriculum in Korea, which has been effective since 2000, strongly encourages the use of calculators and computers to help children gain a better understanding of basic mathematical concepts and develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills without spending too much time and effort on making mechanical computations. Despite the recommendation by the national curriculum, however, only a small segment of elementary school teachers have been using calculators because of the fear that children\\`s dependence on calculators might bring about negative consequences. As a result, little research has been conducted in this area as well. This study has been conducted on the assumption that calculators have the potential for being a useful instructional tool in certain areas of elementary school mathematics education. To investigate the usefulness of calculators, a review was made of the scanty literature in the area. The literature review indicated that calculators are effective when they are used for the following purposes: understanding concepts and properties in numbers and operations, deducing mathematical rules, and solving problems. In view of the available research finding, we will give some concrete learning and teaching models of such uses of calculators. The teaching-learning models are organized around three categories: concept formation, discovery of principles and rules, and problem solving. Such organization is intended to help teachers use the models with ease.

This research examines the historic preservation of Korean modern architecture by applying Kenneth Frampton(1930-)'s concept of critical regionalism. It explores the representative Korean modern architect Gil-ryong Park (1898-1943) and two of his buildings: the Hwashin Department Store (1935) and the No-soo Park house (1937-1938). The former was in the hot spot on the preservation. There were plans to preserve this building but that it ended up being demolished in 1987. The latter building, however, has been preserved and is currently being used as a museum. These two Korean modern buildings are explored through the frame of Kenneth Frampton's critical regionalism, in particular focusing on three important concepts: "dialectical expression," "place-form," and "sustainability." In this sense, this research will provide pioneering research in understanding the preservation of Korean modern architecture through a representative Western modern theory. In the early $20^{th}$ century, Korean modern architecture, which was built during the Japanese colonial period (1910-1945), could be interpreted as critical regionalism because it represented a dialog between the West and the East, in particular between Western modernism, Japanese modernity, and Korean tradition in the East Asian context. Understanding Korean modernism in this context of a cross-cultural perspective enables scholars to define both the origins and uniqueness of Korean modern architecture.

As essential element of designers, foundation studies program helps student deal with the individual expression of imagination and variety of correspondence for solving design problem through the understanding of 2-D, 3-D basic design elements, principals, structures. Liberal art and foundation studio courses provides embodiment and settlement of design principal through the foundation studies expand to experiences systematically and deeply. After the Industrialization, foundation studies have developed from Bauhaus in German, the courses have been progressing and systematizing with the demand of time in United States. Growth of Industrialization, expanded design areas departmentalized to various of fields, then the segmentation of foundation courses tend to important than basic design courses. The introduction of information era, the appearance of computer is placed as a tool of design development and added to applied basic courses. This study is intended to know how to change the leading foundation courses in United State due to the revitalization of industrialization and information through the research and analyse to foundation design education curriculums. As a result, most of design school in United States provide drawing, 2-D, 3-D, and 4-D courses included 3-D design element as a basic studies and provide to students introduction to fundamental principal of design concept and communication in both theoretical and applied form. Also though the history, literature, critic, research and survey courses provide students to organize fundamental of systematical logic and understanding design system.

The residential and welfare facilities for the elderly are continuously increasing due to change of value on family under situation of aging population increase. And it is predicted that accommodation capacity of facilities for the elderly and its rate those facilities takes compared to whole social welfare facilities will be accelerated considering past increase speed. On the other hand, about 60% of the elderly have low physical and mental level almost close to disabled people therefore special environmental concerns helping their independent living are necessary. Among them, color application is one of the most important factors for smooth understanding, communication and psychological remedy effect for them. The purpose of this study is to analyze the interior color status in assisted living facilities for the elderly in America which is a leading country in terms of the understanding and policy for the elderly as a part of the research project to suggest the developed solution about the Korean residential welfare facilities for the elderly For this purpose, not only importance and effect of color and visual characteristics and reaction to color in elderly environment but also general concept and policy of the ‘assisted living facility’ in America were researched through documents review. And measuring of color on 5 main spaces such ; lobby/lounge, corridor, dining room, bedroom, stairway/ramp of the 10 facilities in America were performed under analysis of its functional and aesthetic level based on Moon & Spencer's color theory.

컴퓨터는 인간처럼 생각하고 이해할 수 있는가? 이 논문은 인공지능의 가능성을 지지하는 논의와 반대하는 논의들을 분석한다. 컴퓨터의 이해능력에 대한 인정과 부인은 기본적으로 튜링과 써얼의 입장으로 대변된다. 여기서 필자는 그들의 논증을 비판적으로 검토함으로써, 인공지능의 사고 및 이해 개념을 무엇이며, 그러한 이해 개념은 인간의 이해능력에 어느정도 상응하는 개념인지 논의하려고 한다. 특히 주관적 의식의 문제에 있어서, 인공지능논제는 어떤 어려움을 가지며 그 이유는 무엇인지를 논의할 것이다. 물론 주관적 의식이 이해능력의 필수조건이라고 보기는 어렵다.그러나 언어를 갖는 인간의 조건과 관련하여 이문제를 고려해 볼때, 우리는 신체와 의식의 통일체로서의 인간을 전제하며, 인간의 신체 행동과 더불어 주관적 의식은 인격의 징표로 작용한다.
