  • The demand for virtual reality (VR) is rapidly increasing. Providing the immersive experience requires much operation and many data to transmit. For example, a 360-degree video (360 video) with at least 4K resolution is needed to offer an immersive experience to users. Moreover, the MPEG-I group defined three degrees of freedom plus (3DoF+), and it requires the transmission of multiview 360 videos simultaneoulsy. This could be a burden for the VR streaming system. Accordingly, in this work, a bitrate-saving method using projection conversion is introduced, along with experimental results for streaming 3DoF+ 360 video. The results show that projection conversion of 360 video with 360lib shows a Bjontegaard delta bitrate gain of as much as 11.4%.

  • Cyberbullying has a negative influence on teens. However, the academic approach and try is still an its early stages in spite of the issue of the seriousness and importance. Accordingly, this study conducted a survey of 1,112 elementary, middle and high school students. According to the survey, Internet bullying violence experience was from 20.3% to 39.0%, victim experience from 11.0% to 23.4%, mobile phone bullying violence experience was from 15.9% to 44.1%, victim experience from 5.5% to 21.8%. The factors affecting Internet bullying violence experience were gender, academic stress, internet accessibility, anonymity, use time of internet. The factors affecting mobile phone bullying violence experience were school table, academic stress, mobility, anonymity, use time of mobile phone. Finally, this study grasped the relation between Internet and mobile phone bullying. It was found that Internet bullying violence victim experience had something to do with mobile phone bullying violence victim experience. Especially, Internet bullying violence experience had a lot to do with mobile phone bullying violence experience, Internet bullying victim experience had a lot to do with mobile phone bullying victim experience.

  • This purpose of this study is to verity the impact of new logistics factors on the Intention of use and consumer happiness, the mediating effect of perceived benefits, and provide suggestions on how to improve the level of new distribution. Based on the previous theories of online experience, off-line experience, logistics experience, perceived benefits, Intention of use and consumer happiness, the study puts forward 6 key research hypotheses. Reliability and validity tests were carried out by using data collected on new logistics factors on the Intention of use and consumer happiness. The hypotheses are verified through structural equation modelling. The study on the impact of new logistics factors on the Intention of use and consumer happiness and the mediating effect of perceived benefits, indicates that online experience, off-line experience, logistics experience have positive effects on perceived benefits, the perceived benefits has positive effects on Intention of use and consumer happiness, and the Intention of use has positive effects on consumer happiness. Moreover, perceived benefits as the mediating variable have effects on the relationship between online experience, off-line experience, logistics experience and the Intention of use and consumer happiness. The study extended the existing previous studies to provide theoretical and practical implications by verifying the relationship between new logistics factors and the Intention of use and consumer happiness.

  • In this paper we give a description of students' obstacles in their learning of geometry, especially resulted from their confusing a physical drawing with a figure, a geometrical object which a physical drawing represents. In computer-based teaching-learning environment, we could relieve such obstacles through providing students for experiences in which they must focus on elements of a figure and relations of them. But there may be potential in computer-based environment if we offer students only visual experience for validity of geometrical gacts: students' lack of understanding for need of proof and experience of cognitive obstacles which is very important for students to reflect their thinking and activities. Thus an didactical treatment must follows, which we also give an example.

  • Although various music composition programs for PCs have become commonplace, the reasons why people think it is hard to make music are the lack of experience with musical instruments, the lack of knowledge of music or composition, and the fear of learning MIDI software. In this paper, we propose an effective method to solve this problem by using plain text based method which makes it easy for the general people who do not know MIDI, have little experience of musical instruments, and cannot even read music to make their own music. As a result, many people who like music but have not been able to produce their own music may produce and distribute music, and collaborate with others to produce better quality music.

The pedagogical conditions for the formation of information competence, including laboratory, design, research work, the use of active teaching methods for acquiring management skills in production and activities of the enterprise. An indispensable requirement for the conditions for the implementation of basic of educational programs is the assessment of competencies. With this the goal was to develop criteria and levels of formation information competence of future economists and carried out complex diagnostics.

  • Relatively few countries provide separate bicycle lanes for cyclists. Hence, tools for suggesting cycling routes are essential for a safe and pleasant cycling experience. This study aims to develop a mobile application to build cycling routes based on user preferences, specifically location, search radius, ride distance, and number of optimal routes. Our application calls the Strava API to retrieve Strava cycling segments crowdsourced from the cycling community. Then, it creates a graph consisting of the start and end points of these segments. Beginning from a user-specified location, the depth-first search algorithm (DFS) is applied to find routes that conform to the user's preferences. Next, a set of optimal routes is obtained by computing a trade-off ratio for every discovered route. This ratio is calculated from the lengths of all segments and the lengths of all connecting paths. The connected routes can be displayed on a map on an Android device or exported as a GPX file to a bike computer. Future work must be performed to improve the design of the user interface and user experience.

  • Developing a midrange computer system in a country like Korea is a difficult task. It is because of the lack of computer related technologies, appropriate manpower and the sufficient domestic market. Thus, only a few country except the United States has succeeded in developing her own model of computer systems. Fortunately, Korea became one of them. In this paper, we will present some special features of TICOM and how we successfully developed our own model of a midrange computer system with respect to system engineering point of view. The Difficulties and suggestions from the experience of the development of TICOM will also be described.

  • This study was attempted to provide fundamental data in a disaster response education program by comparing the differences between students of the paramedic and nursing in ego-resilience, disaster-experience and core competencies of disaster response. The data is collected from March 2 to April 2, 2019, on a total of 358 students (196 paramedic students and 162 nursing students) based in Jeolla Province. The structured questionnaire were used as research tools and the collected data were analyzed by using the SPSS program as frequency, percentage, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The average score of total ego-resilience among the subjects was 86.97 out of 125 points. The number of paramedic students who experienced or witnessed the disaster situation in person was 11.2%, and the number of nursing students was 11.7%. The core competence of disaster response was 3.21% in paramedic students and 3.16% in nursing students. The ego-resilience of the paramedic and nursing students according to their general characteristics is statistically significant differences (t=2.797, p<.005) and the paramedic students has an average score of 3.52 points, which is higher than the nursing students (3.42 points). General characteristics and experience in disasters are statistically significant differences (t=2.797, p<.005), paramedic students had more disaster experiences (3.11 points) than nursing students (2.67 points). It indicated the static correlation relationship between ego-resilience, disaster experience and core competences of disaster response (p<.000). Through this study, the paramedic students were found to be more ego-resilience, more disaster experience and more critical capacity for disaster treatment than nursing students.
