Multiple Reward Reinforcement learning control of a mobile robot in home network environment

  • The following paper deals with a control problem of a mobile robot in home network environment. The home network causes the mobile robot to communicate with sensors to get the sensor measurements and to be adapted to the environment changes. To get the improved performance of control of a mobile robot in spite of the change in home network environment, we use the fuzzy inference system with multiple reward reinforcement learning. The multiple reward reinforcement learning enables the mobile robot to consider the multiple control objectives and adapt itself to the change in home network environment. Multiple reward fuzzy Q-learning method is proposed for the multiple reward reinforcement learning. Multiple Q-values are considered and max-min optimization is applied to get the improved fuzzy rule. To show the effectiveness of the proposed method, some simulation results are given, which are performed in home network environment, i.e., LAN, wireless LAN, etc.

  • As the e-marketplace becomes the core of management activities, researches on motivation, transaction type, strategy, satisfaction, risk management, performance evaluation, etc. have been actively studied, but the factors influencing actual utilization have not been fully. Especially, the factors that affect the intention of the users are limited without consideration of internal environment, external environment, e-marketplace characteristics such as operating rules, characteristics of the company to be used. In order to derive the determinants of B2B e-marketplace use, this study was conducted to examine the relationship between internal environment, external environment, e-marketplace characteristics as independent variables, intention of use as dependent variable, participation qualification, The results were as follows. First, the previous study limited the determinants of intention to use to either internal or external, but this study presented an integrated model that considers both factors. Second, the characteristics of companies participating in e-marketplace were identified by using participation qualification and activity scope as control variables.

  • By decreasing in CPU price and development of computer assembling technology, personal computer fake a good chance to accelerate its supply. Recently, as being introduced new computing technology so called multi media, teaming assist system which is based on single media such as studying book, cassette tape, video tape, or something else is rapidly being replaced by new assist education system based on multi media in which it is operated by the personal computer. In the computer assist education system, there is an evaluation module which appraise learner's study level into the next study strategy. At the view of this point, this part is very important. In this part, there are some factors like Importance, complexity, or difficulty which commonly include fuzzy factors in our surrounding. But until now, we are still out of the level to handle the evaluation module adequately among the some studies. In this study, we would like to suggest a new module that evaluate learning achievement of ICAI which have a variety of fuzzy environment. We combine Independent fuzzy environment like importance, complexity, difficulty into making total evaluation of learner's achievement. By the result, with expressing by linguistic form, this study can provide the theoretical basis in which we will be able to carry out sentence toward evaluation among elementary school.

Integrated GUI Environment of Parallel Fuzzy Inference System for Pattern Classification of Remote Sensing Images

  • In this paper, we propose an integrated GUI environment of parallel fuzzy inference system fur pattern classification of remote sensing data. In this, as 4 fuzzy variables in condition part and 104 fuzzy rules are used, a real time and parallel approach is required. For frost fuzzy computation, we use the scan line conversion algorithm to convert lines of each fuzzy linguistic term to the closest integer pixels. We design 4 fuzzy processor unit to be operated in parallel by using FPGA. As a GUI environment, PCI transmission, image data pre-processing, integer pixel mapping and fuzzy membership tuning are considered. This system can be used in a pattern classification system requiring a rapid inference time in a real-time.

  • C와 C++는 컴파일된 결과물의 실행 속도가 타 프로그래밍 언어로 작성된 것보다 빠르고 기존의 시스템과 호환성이 좋다는 점 등의 장점을 갖고 있기 때문에 많은 프로그래머들로부터 여전히 사랑받는 프로그래밍 언어이다. 하지만 C와 C++로 생성된 프로그램은 버퍼 오버플로 취약점과 같은 다양한 메모리 커럽션 취약점을 갖고 있기 때문에 쉽게 외부의 공격자들에게 노출된다. 따라서 사용자가 이와 같은 언어로 생성된 프로그램을 안전하게 실행하기 위해서는 시스템에 신뢰할 수 있는 방어 기법이 미리 적용되어 있어야만 한다. 본 연구에서는 메모리 커럽션 취약점을 이용한 공격을 탐지하기 위한 기법 중 하나인 Multi-variant Execution Environment (MVEE)를 소개하고, MVEE의 핵심 요소 기술인 레플리카 생성 기법들에 대하여 설명하고 비교 분석하고자 한다.

The Development of Brain Health Care Game Applications to prevent Digital Dementia

  • Recently, with various developments made to smart-phones and other digital devices in the IoT environment, modern people tend to pursue comfort in their own lifestyles. These environment has helped us to obtain any information or data in despite of location and time. But it has caused them to be overly reliant on digital devices in doing any kind of daily work, trusting the digital devices more than oneself. As a result of this over reliance, modern people's memorizing and calculating ability have deteriorated critically. This symptom is known as the Digital Dementia. In this paper, we study the phenomenon of digital dementia caused by smart-phones, and we suggest a method of developing "memorize the phone number" game applications in IoT environment to the problem of digital dementia. Test results show that, through the use of application, not only the users were able to have fun memorizing the numbers, but also, to show improvement in their memorizing ability. Thus, we expect that the application suggested above will help in preventing digital dementia and maintain brain health.

  • C 와 C++은 비교적 자유로운 코딩 환경으로 많은 프로그래머들에게 사랑받는 프로그래밍 언어이다. 또한, 빠른 속도와 호환성 덕분에 현재 많은 IOT, 임베디드 시스템에 적용되고 있다. C 와 C++은 자유로운 환경을 가지고 있는 반면에 프로그래머의 부주의한 코딩 방식에 의해 여러 취약점을 발생시켜 공격 범위를 증가시킬 수 있다. 다음은 외부 침입자에게 공격에 필요한 좋은 소스를 제공할 수 있으므로 이러한 공격을 막기 위한 범용적인 기술이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 다음 취약점에 대한 공격을 막을 수 있는 기술 중 하나인 Multi-Variant Execution Environment(MVEE) 기술을 소개하고 다음 기술의 핵심인 다양한 Variant 생성 방식과 기존 연구 분석을 통해 한계점을 고찰하고자 한다.

  • Transparency of position that provide quick service regardless of physical position to users in distribution computing environment is getting into prominence and is developed in component form that many application softwares take advantage of distributed object technology. Because design object in distribution computing environment and OMG introduces OMA for embody, defined CORBA by standard of distributed object technology on OMA's abstract picture object model. Security service in CORBA platform is very important.   • The wearable computer that can understand the context of human life and intelligently communicate with various electronic media in ubiquitous computing environment would be very useful as an assistant for humans. In this paper we introduce an intelligent wearable assistance suite. The proposed wearable suite can interact with both humans and electronic media in ubiquitous computing environment. The developed system can sense the interactive electronic media that a user wants to use and also communicate with it. By utilizing these interaction capabilities, it intermediates between each media and the user and offers a friendlier interface to the user who wears this system. We also show the usages of the proposed system by demonstrating its interaction with the interactive electronic media in ubiquitous computing environment.

  • Computers have become an indispensable part of everyday lives in 21st century. This is particularly true in early childhood education; multimedia use in kindergarten has rapidly grown in the last decade. Although ample research had been done on the issues of teachers' role in multimedia settings and selecting quality materials, few studies have been done on the proper environment for multimedia use in early childhood education. In this regard, this research examines the current status of multimedia use-animated illustration films, CD-ROM titles, and internet-in kindergarten. In addition, computer environment in kindergarten is investigated in order to provide guidelines for appropriate facilities and equipments. For smooth integration of computer activities into a school system, computers are located in ordinary classrooms in more than half of kindergarten in Seoul. Computers are used in independent lab settings in the last of the kindergarten in Seoul and there are four different types of lab settings. Among them computer at perimeter style is preferred for the ease of student-teacher, and student-student interactions. The importance of environment for early childhood education cannot be overestimated. It is so critical for early childhood education that the people in this field regard the environment as 'the third teacher' next to parents and teachers. Therefore the multimedia environment should also be considered seriously for the maximum use in early childhood institutions.
