Improvement of heat sink technology related to the continuous implementation performance and extension of device-life in circumstance of easy heating and more compact space has been becoming more important issue as multi-functional integration and miniaturization trend of electronic gadgets and products has been generalized. In this study, it purposed to minimize of decline of the heat diffusivity by gluing polymer through compounding of inorganic particles which have thermal conductive properties. We used NH-9300 as base resin and used inorganic fillers such as silicon carbide(SiC), aluminum nitride(AlN), and boron nitride(BN) to improve heat diffusivity. After making film which was made from 100 part of acrylic resin mixed hardener(1.0 part more or less) with inorganic particles. The film was matured at $80^{\circ}C$ for 24h. Diffusivity were tested according to sorts of particles and density of particles as well as size and structure of particle to improve the effect of heat sink in view of morphology assessing diffusivity by LFA(Netzsch/LFA 447 Nano Flash) and adhesion strength by UTM(Universal Testing Machine). The correlation between diffusivity of pure inorganic particles and composite as well as the relation between density and morphology of inorganic particles has been studied. The study related morphology showed that globular type had superior diffusivity at low density of 25% but on the contarary globular type was inferior to non-globular type at high density of 80%.

Maintaining a voice color is important when compounding both the normal voice because an emotion is not expressed with various emotional voices in a single synthesizer. When a synthesizer is developed using the recording data of too many expressed emotions, a voice color cannot be maintained and each synthetic speech is can be heard like the voice of different speakers. In this paper, the speech data was recorded and the change in the voice color was analyzed to develop an emotional HMM-based speech synthesizer. To realize a speech synthesizer, a voice was recorded, and a database was built. On the other hand, a recording process is very important, particularly when realizing an emotional speech synthesizer. Monitoring is needed because it is quite difficult to define emotion and maintain a particular level. In the realized synthesizer, a normal voice and three emotional voice (Happiness, Sadness, Anger) were used, and each emotional voice consists of two levels, High/Low. To analyze the voice color of the normal voice and emotional voice, the average spectrum, which was the measured accumulated spectrum of vowels, was used and the F1(first formant) calculated by the average spectrum was compared. The voice similarity of Low-level emotional data was higher than High-level emotional data, and the proposed method can be monitored by the change in voice similarity.

Recently, manure emissions associated with the numerical increment of the domestic hog-breeding have increased, but it has been banned from ocean dumping by the United Nations Convention in 2012. To find out the site for spraying in large quantity of liquid manure fertilizer, we selected one grass plantation, which has the largest amount of grass production, in Jangsung, South Korea. We spread not only chemical fertilizer but also liquid manure fertilizer on the zoysiagrass plantation and researched the effect on the grass growth and development, soil chemical property, and seepage water of dike. As the test results, spread by compounding chemical fertilizer and liquid manure fertilizer and it is possible to substitute for some chemical fertilizer in terms of nutrients accumulation and the grass growth and development. Additionally, it gives less effects to soil chemical property and is efficacious to effective microorganism growth of soil. Therefore, adding liquid manure fertilizer will lead to reduce almost all the amount of chemical fertilizer usage. It is also expected to help for livestock manure management and to influence reducing the production cost of the grass plantation. However, to spread liquid manure fertilizer contaminates water system. For this reason, monitoring continuously, we need to find out improvement plans of the fertilization method in order to increase the usage of liquid manure fertilizer.
Poly [(dimethylmethylyinyl) siloxane] phosphineoxide (PMViSPO) was prepared by adding phosphorus oxychloride $(POCl_3)$ to poly (dimethylmethylyinyl) siloxane (PMViS) at $0^{\circ}C$ under nitrogen atmosphere. Cadmium selenide (CdSe) was prepared by reacting cadmium oxide (CdO), tetradecyl-phosphonic acid (TDPA), trioctylphosphine oxide (TOPO) at $300^{\circ}C$, and adding solution of dissolved Se to tributylphosphine (TBP) and trioctylphosphine (TOP) CdSe-poly [(dimethylmethylvinyl) siloxane] phosphine-oxide (CdSe-SPO) adduct was synthesised by adding PMViSPO to CdSe solution. Liquid silicone rubber composite (LSRC-1) was prepared by compounding $\alpha,\omega-vinyl$ poly (dimethylsiloxane) (VPMS), $\alpha,\omega-hydrogen$) poly(dimethylsiloxane) (HPMS), and CdSe under Pt catalyst, and also LSRC-2 was prepared from VPMS, HPMS, and CdSe-SPO using Pt catalyst. It was confirmed that CdSe nanoparticles with photoluminescence characteristics was dispersed uniformly in LSR matrix. The diameter of CdSe was $30\sim50nm$. By measuring the number of CdSe nanoparticles, 202 particles of CdSe in LSRC-2 and 165 particles of CdSe in LSRC-1 were dispersed in the same area of LSR matrix. Thermal stability for LSRC-2 compounded with CdSe-SPO was better than LSRC-1.
The purpose of this study is to make it clear that the influence the adults' work-family conflicts affect the family life satisfaction and the work life satisfaction of theirs, according to the personal backgrounds (sex, age, monthly income and whether the person works S days a week or not). The target group of this study is the selected 754 adults who are married with children that are in the employ of the various companies in Seoul and Incheon. The picked data are analyzed to factor analysis, frequencies, means, One-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis etc..using Spss 11.5 version statistical program. Following is the result of the study: First, the level of work-family conflicts have been shown to be different as the result of verification by sex, age, monthly income and the type of duty(whether working 5days a week or not) out of the personal variables. The study shows that the level of work-family conflicts is different by the subordinate variables of work-family conflicts as the results of male and female comparison. And the older the age, the higher the level of family conflicts.'rho study shows that The level of the places of work conflicts is the highest in the 30s. The smaller monthly income, the higher the level of work-family conflicts. The study shows that the level of family conflicts is high in working 6days a week and the level of work conflicts is high in working 5days a week. Second, such factors for conflicts at home as family support, family expectations and financial difficulties affect the level of satisfaction at work, while such personal backgrounds as monthly pay, kinds of work and age level also play a role. At the same time, satisfaction in family life is influenced by such factors for conflicts at the places of work as support, involvement, expectations and work-overload at the places of work, with such personal backgrounds as monthly pay, age and sex compounding the impact. On the point how much conflicts at work and home affect the satisfaction at home, work and leisure, the study shows that family life does not have noticeable influence in the level of satisfaction at the places of work, whereas situations at the place of work have significant impact on the level of satisfaction in family lives. In other words, the lesser conflicts the work situations cause to family lives, the greater the level of satisfaction at work, home and at leisure.
Purpose: To evaluate the vision-specific Quality of Life according to modes of refractive error correction in myopia. Method: This study included subjects from two different universities in Korea during March 2005 to June 2005. The following subjects (470) were university students, university faculty members, and their immediate families; all of whom were over the age of 19 and all who had refractive error of some sort. The four focus groups consisted of 171 spectacle wearers, 154 contact lens wearers, 123 refractive surgery patients, and 22 post-refractive surgery patients who returned to wearing glasses. The study of Vision-Specific Quality of Life used QIRC - The Quality of Life Impact of refractive Correction Questionnaire, which was translated by our group from English into Korean. Using analysis of co-variance (ANCOVA) and adjusting for age, sex, job, economic status, and education level, we examined and compared the QOL mean scores of the three groups (glass & contact lenses wears, refractive surgery patients, and post-refractive surgery patients who returned to wearing glasses). Results: After adjusting for major compounding variance, the research results showed the highest QOL mean score of 43.2 for the group who had received refractive surgery, 37.1 for the glasses & contact lenses group, and 33.4 for patients who had returned to wearing glasses after refractive surgery. There were significant differences between the three groups (p=0.001). Conclusion: Refractive surgery has shown a significant contribution to improve the QOL in myopia patients. However, upon our investigation, patients who underwent refractive surgery and returned to wearing glasses had a lower QOL compared to non-refractive surgery patients who wore glasses/contact lenses. Upon concluding our studies that shows that refractive surgery does not always conclusively bring higher QOL, we would like patients to carefully consider their options before undergoing refractive surgery in the future.
${\alpha}$,$\omega$-Hydrogen polyorganosiloxane(HPMDMS) prepolymer was prepared from equilibrium polymerization ofoctamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, 1,3,5-trimethylcyclotrisiloxane, 1,3,5,7-tetravinyl-1,3,5,7-tetramethyl-cyclotetrasiloxane, and 1,1,3,3-tetramethyl disiloxane as an end-blocker in the presence of tetramethylammonium siloxanolate as a catalyst. Polyorganosiloxane modified with dimethylacrylamide(APMDMS) was prepared by hydrosilylation of HPMDMS with dimethylacrylamide in the presence of Pt catalyst, and followed by coordination of metal oxide (APMDMS-MO), such as NiO and FeO, to the amide moieties of the resulting polymer. The chemical structures of HPMDMS and APMDMS were confirmed by FT-IR and $^1$H-NMR analysis. Liquid silicone rubber containing metal oxide composite (LSRMO) was prepared by compounding APMDMS-MO, ${\alpha}$,$\omega$-vinylpolydimethylsiloxane, and a catalyst in a high speed dissolver. The thermal conductivity of LSRMO composite was determined to be 0.29 W/mK, and the volume resistivity exhibited a lower value than that of LSR composite. The mechanical and thermal properties of LSRMO and LSR composite were measured by UTM and TGA.
We have prepared PP/Ba-ferrite composite fabrics by a melt-blown spinning method and investigated the relationship between the properties of PP/Ba-ferrite composite fabrics and melt-blown processing factors. A PP composite containing Ba-ferrite as a magnetic particulate filler was prepared in the form of pellet from PP resin and Ba-ferrite powder by melt compounding using a single extruder. Screw turning force (rpm), DCD (die-to-collector distance), and Ba-ferrite content were changed. We measured diameters of fiber, mechanical, thermal, and magnetic properties for the composited PP fabrics. The elongation was increased and a fiber diameter and tensile strength were decreased as the spinning distance increased or screw turning force decreased. The crystallinity was increased with increasing spinning distance according to XRD. It was assumed that the orientation of crystalline domain in the neat PP without ferrite was increased by drawing in mechanical direction, however, the orientation in the PP composite was decreased according to XRD analysis. We measured a magnetic property of PP nonwoven fabric containing Ba-ferrite powder. A coercive force, maximum magnetization, and residual magnetization are reduced with the spinning distance. According to the result of TGA measurement, the heat resistance was increased with the Ba-ferrite powder content and with decreasing the spinning distance.
Polypropylene (PP)/corn starch master batch (starch-MB) blends with different PP compositions of 40, 50, 60, and 80 wt% were prepared by melt compounding at $200^{\circ}C$, using lab scale Brabender mixer. The chemical structures and thermal properties of the PP/starch-MB blends were investigated by FT-IR, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA). The chemical structure was confirmed by the existence of hydroxy group. There was no district change in melting temperature and melting enthalpy, and TGA curve indicated a decrease in degradation temperature with starch-MB content. The porosity change of blend was measured by scanning electron microscope (SEM), the degree of porosity on the blend surface increased with the starch-MB content. The rheological properties indicated an increase in complex viscosity, shear thinning tendency and elasticity with the starch-MB concentration. These effects were confirmed by an oscillatory viscometer at $200^{\circ}C$. From these results, it is found that 40 wt% is the optimum starch-MB concentration. The fiber was fabricated from PP60/MB40 with 40 wt% starch-MB and the porosity and tensile properties were investigated.
In Korea, small reservoirs have been constructed for the supply of agricultural water, but most of them have been over 50 years from the year of construction. Aging agricultural reservoirs are being investigated for serious defects such as leaks and movements in slope, which are very vulnerable to safety. Accordingly, grouting methods are used to reinforce aging agricultural reservoirs in Korea. However, cement used as a grouting injection material consumes natural resources and generates a large amount of greenhouse gases during production. In addition, there is a problem that sufficient reinforcement is not made due to various factors such as the injection amount, the compounding ratio, the injection pressure, and etc. Therefore, due to these problems, the development of new materials and methods that can replace the grouting method and cement is required. In order to solve these problems, this study conducted an laboratory test on the surface stabilizer used to secure the stability of road and rail slopes. In addition, the program was analyzed and the reinforcing effect was examined when the surface stabilizer was used as reinforcement material for aging agricultural reservoir. As a result of the laboratory test, when the surface stabilizer is mixed, the increase of cohesion is possible up to 9% and there is no change in the friction angle. The results of the program analysis showed that the 1.0m reinforcement of slopes increased the factor of safety by 1.4 times, making it possible to reinforce the aging agricultural reservoir using surface stabilizers. And as a reinforcement method, it was analyzed that it is most appropriate to reinforce the slope and the bottom of slope simultaneously.
