In contemporary society, Labyrinth and maze are used with the same meaning. They are also used by translating various meanings. But labyrinth and maze are exactly different meaning. The purpose of this study is to inquire about difference for understanding essential meaning between labyrinth and maze. First of all, this study is to grasp composition principles and the characteristics of space through example of labyrinth and maze from ancient to contemporary, prescribe about essential meaning between labyrinth and maze and examine contemporary architecture which is fit for essential meaning. As compositional Principle in labyrinth and maze applied to comtemporary architecture, the labyrinth are centrality, property of one-sideness, determinable space, on the contrary the maze are out of centrality, property of multi-sideness, indeterminable space. Finally, The aim of this paper is analyze exhibition space that suit to the characteristics of composition principle and find the characteristics in labyrinth and maze. Examples of exhibition space are Aldo Van Eyck's 'Sculpture Pavilion', Kazuyo Sejima's '21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art', Ben van berkel's'Museum Het Valkhof'. These research we studied the visitor's circulation and the architectural structure in exhibition space with the spatial characteristics and the compositional principle in labyrinth and maze.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of expression and formal principle of universalism in Architectural Composition. Theorical category is to find universal system with the connection between idea of society and tradition in compositional frame the results were as follows : First it is the pursuit of divine. Through Middle Age and Renaissance universalism of principles in Architectural Composition is appeared a numerical order and human proportion with applying of cosmology. Second it is the pursuit of schema. With the simplicity of formal image it represented to the geometrical form for its clearness. Third it is the pursuit of typology. As to play a role of decisive factor in formal construction type represented the model with abstraction of shape.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the form of composition and principle of reduction in architectural composition. Theorical category is to find reduction system with the connection between idea of society and tradition in compositional frame. The results were as follows : First, it is appeared the mimesis of style. The mimesis of style is differentiated characteristics between Greek Style or Roman Style and Gothic Revival or Renaissance Revival. Second, it is the reduction of primitive of form. It si divided with mimesis of nature and reduction of primitive hut. Like Laugier the former find the architectural prototype, the latter is convinced of simplicity, purity of nature with us.

In the late 1950s, departing from their unquestioning following of Soviet architecture, North Koreans attempted to discover the specificities of traditional Korean architecture and apply them to their contemporary monuments. This paper examines the ways in which North Korean architects developed their unique version of Socialist realism in the making of Pyongyang Grand Theater. The traditional elements in harmony with North Korea's political ideology-an early form of Juche ideology-and modern building technologies were to be viewed as contemporary elements, and not as a simple revival of the past. This study applies Socialist realism's compositional principle "national in form and socialist in content" to Pyongyang Grand Theater and examines specifically what "socialist content" and "national form" were and how the two were combined in the construction of Pyongyang Grand Theater. By situating the building in the context of localization of Socialist realism which is universal art principle of the communist world, this study contributes to the deeper and wider understanding of North Korea's Modern Joseon Architecture.

Small art museums are important objects in the point of view that they are museums to speak for the general architectural culture of current Korea and immediate factors to have an effect on urban street view and urban people's life. In small art museums, form has had plural transfigurational process when we analyze the external component elements or form types, we will find various aspects. In past, composition of form was expressed by simple partition of surface and columv. Now a days, it is expressed with unnumerable formal vocabularies. Although these forms being looked plural, form principle of composition that prescribe it can be rather simple. This study aims to grasp the characteristics and the composition technique of form in small art museums by analyzing compositional elements of it.

Over the last decade, performances of low temperature fuel cells are substantially improved by developing highly active Pt-M alloy catalysts. The electrochemical stability of those catalysts, however, still does not meet the commercial grade for fuel cells to be long-term power sources of electrical vehicles. To unveil a major mechanism causing such weak durability, we extensively utilize ab-initio computations on nano-scale Pt-Co alloy catalysts and analyze thermodynamically the most stable structure as a function of compositional variation. Our results indicate that there is a certain feature governing the particle distribution of a specific alloy element on the nano-scale catalysts, which aggravates the electrochemical degradation.

The innovative designer and structural engineer, Cecil Balmond is co-representative of Ove Arup and has been co-worked with world-famous architects and has been influenced so much on architectural thinking. These days he extended his career as an architect. Moreover, he has been noticed through a few publishing by his own architectural thinking. He is describing the World with his unique insight based on structural perspectives, which have much common grounds with that of Deulezian philosophy. It is especially valuable to study the relationship between his thinking of Interior-Exterior Ring and Deleuzian thinking of Virtual Circulation for understanding more clearly about structural and compositional principle how world is composed of. The Ring is circulationg from interior to exterior which is similar with Deleuzian concept that the Smooth and the Striated is circulationg mutually. Seamless flight line would be ceaseless creative virtual process to actuality.

Phase separation is a thermodynamic process leading to the formation of compositionally distinct phases. For the past few years, numerous works have shown that biomolecular phase separation serves as biogenesis mechanisms of diverse intracellular condensates, and aberrant phase transitions are associated with disease states such as neurodegenerative diseases and cancers. Condensates exhibit rich phase behaviors including multiphase internal structuring, noise buffering, and compositional tunability. Recent studies have begun to uncover how a network of intermolecular interactions can give rise to various biophysical features of condensates. Here, we review phase behaviors of biomolecules, particularly with regard to regular solution models of binary and ternary mixtures. We discuss how these theoretical frameworks explain many aspects of the assembly, composition, and miscibility of diverse biomolecular phases, and highlight how a model-based approach can help elucidate the detailed thermodynamic principle for multicomponent intracellular phase separation.

The purpose of this study is to examine by which correlation the pluralistic phenomenon in text is functioned in comparison with hair style and fashion in collection. As a result, the pluralistic image in text, which was shown in modern fashion, was indicated to be pluralistic phenomenon by gender, T.P.O, coordination, and material. The pluralistic image in text for hair style can be known to have been indicated to be the pluralistic phenomenon in text for gender and to be the pluralistic phenomenon in text according to material and cultural category. As for a method of this study, it did put limitation on the part that is shown in the fashion collection from 2001 to 2007, analyzed hair-style features centering on photos, which were extracted from style.com, the online site of specializing in fashion, and carried out a literature research side by side with the theoretical background on intertextuality. The analysis in work according to the pluralistic phenomenon in text made it possible for looking at with a new sight differently from the recognition in the past, and opened the potentiality for being able to understand lots of strange representations, which have been impossible so far. The process of imitating and reconstructing each text according to compositional principle led to possibly knowing the necessity of an artist's ability that can implement the originative world.

The principle objective of this study was to determine the approximate composition of cucumber-hot pepper pickles under 3 conducted. In the stored cucumber-pepper samples, the approximate composition was characterized by a relative increase in protein content as compared to commercial cucumber-pepper samples, although other compositional components, such as ash and lipid contents, remained unchanged. Increases in storage time resulted in a reduction in the strength and hardness of the samples. Cucumber-pepper pickles stored for 15 days at a temperature of -4$^{\circ}$C evidenced the best overall acceptability in the sensory test.
