This paper presents a simple modified unipolar carrier-based pulsewidth modulation (CB-PWM) strategy for the three-level neutral-point-clamped (NPC) voltage source inverter (VSI). Analytical expressions for the relationship between modulation reference signals and output voltages are derived. The proposed modulation technique for the three-level NPC VSI includes the maximum and minimum of the three-phase sinusoidal reference voltages with zero-sequence voltage injection concept. The proposed modified CB-PWM strategy incorporates a novel method that requires only of one triangular carrier wave for generate the gating pulses in three-level NPC VSI. It has the advantages of being simplifying the algorithm with no need of complex two/multi-carrier pulsewidth modulation or space vector modulation (SVM) and it's also simple to implement. The possibility of the proposed CB-PWM technique has been verified though computer simulation and experimental results.

In this Paper, a back propagation neural network learning algorithm based on the complex multilayer perceptron is represented for controling and detecting interference of the received signals in cellular mobile communication system. We proposed neural network adaptive correlator which has fast convergence rate and good performance with combining back propagation neural network and the receiver of cellular. We analyzed and proved that NNAC has lower bit error probability than that of traditional RAKE receiver through results of computer simulation in the presence of the tone and narrow-band interference and the co-channel interference.
Recently, the importance of supplying the reliable electric power is increasing. Breaking insulation of stator winding is major cause of fault in rotator machine. On-line PD detecting is useful technique to diagnose rotator machine. However, interpretation of its results in time domain is very complex because of the mixed results with PD(Partial Discharge) and noise signal. Therefore, the results were analyzed in frequency domain by FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) to detect precise PD signals. The purpose of this paper is to describe the optimal frequency range to discriminate the PD and noise signal.

Reactor Noise is defined as the fluctuations of measured instrumentation signals during full-power operation of reactor which have informations on reactor system dynamics such as neutron kinetics. The Reactor internal structures which consist of many complex components are subjected to flow-induced vibration due to high temperature and pressure in reactor coolant system. The above flow-induced vibration causes degradation of structural integrity of the reactor and may result in loosing mechanical binding component which might impact other equipment and component or cause flow blockage. It is important to analyze reactor noise signal for the early detection of potential problem or failure in order to diagnosis reactor integrity in the point of view of safety and plant economics. Detailed design of hardware diagnostic system reactor internal structures using neutron noise(RIDS).
Volatile compounds (VOCs) are not only media for communication within a species but also effective tools for sender to manipulate behavior and physiology of receiver species. Although the influence of VOCs on the interactions among organisms is evident, types of VOCs and specific mechanisms through which VOCs work during such interactions are only beginning to become clear. Here, we review the fungal volatile compounds (FVOCs) and their impacts on different recipient organisms from perspective of distinct lifestyles of the filamentous fungi. Particularly, we discuss the possibility that different lifestyles are intimately associated with an ability to produce a repertoire of FVOCs in fungi. The FVOCs discussed here have been identified and analyzed as relevant signals under a range of experimental settings. However, mechanistic insight into how specific interactions are mediated by such FVOCs at the molecular levels, amidst complex community of microbes and plants, requires further testing. Experimental designs and advanced technologies that attempt to address this question will facilitate our understanding and applications of FVOCs to agriculture and ecosystem management.

In this paper, an efficient connected component labeling (CCL) method was proposed. The proposed method is based on GPU parallelism. The CCL is very important in various applications where images are analysed. However, the label of each pixel is dependent on the connectivity of adjacent pixels so that it is not very easy to be parallelized. In this paper, a GPU-based parallel CCL techniques were proposed and applied to the analysis of radar signal. Since the radar signals contains complex and large data, the efficiency of the algorithm is crucial when realtime analysis is required. The experimental results show the proposed method is efficient enough to be successfully applied to this application.
1H NMR spectra of D2O solutions containing 2,2-dimethylaziridine (1) or 2-methylaziridine (2) and [SiW11COⅡO39]6- (SiW11Co) or [SiW11NiⅡO39]6- (SiW11Ni) exhibit separate signals for the free ligand and the complex, indicating that the ligand exchange is slow on the NMR time scale. Identified are two linkage isomers with the methyl group of 2 at trans or cis position with respect to the metal. The isotropic shifts of 1 and 2 coordinated to SiW11Ni originate mainly from the contact shifts, and they agree reasonably with the relative values reported for similar ligands coordinated to bis(2,4-pentanedionato)nickel(Ⅱ). The isotropic shifts for the SiW11Co complexes were separated into contact and pseudocontact contributions. The pseudocontact shifts show that (χ∥-χ⊥) is positive, while that for the SiW11Co complexes of pyridine derivatives is negative. This result indicates that the ordering of dxy and dxz, dyz orbitals in SiW11Co complexes can be reversed by ligands.
1H NMR spectra of methyl-, ethyl-, propyl-, isopropyl-, butyl-, N-methylethyl-, N-methylpropyl-, and N-methylisopropylamine coordinated to the paramagnetic 11-tungstocobalto(II)silicate anion (SiW11Co) in dimethylsulfoxide-d6 or dimethylformamide-d7 are reported. For these complexes the ligand exchange is slow on the NMR time scale and pure 1H NMR signals have been observed at room temperature. No complex is detected in D2O. From the pseudocontact shifts of the CH2 and CH3 groups in ethylamine the energy of the gauche conformers with respect to the anti conformer is estimated. Two diastereotopic protons in the CH2 group of N-methylethylamine have quite different chemical shifts especially at low temperatures (e.g. 48.5 vs. 19.4 ppm at -10℃). This may be attributed mainly to the different positions of the two protons in the most stable (gauche) conformer.
A new process for estimating the natural frequency and the corresponding damping ratio in large structures is discussed. In a practical situation, it is very difficult to analyze large structures precisely because they are too complex to model using the finite element method and too heavy to excite using the exciting force method; in particular, the measured signals are seriously influenced by ambient noise. In order to identify the structural impulse response associated with the information of natural frequency and the corresponding damping ratio in large structures, the analysis process, a so-called "multiresolution blind system identification algorithm" which combines Mallat algorithm and the bicepstrum method. High time-frequency concentration is attained and the phase information is kept. The experimental result has demonstrated that the new analysis process exploiting the natural frequency and the corresponding damping ratio of structural response are useful tools in structural analysis application.
