SI 프로젝트에 있어서 프로젝트 관리자의 정보화 역량과 관리 역량이 프로젝트 성공도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 : 프로젝트 규모의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of the Project Managers' IT Competency and Managerial Competency on the Success of SI Projects : Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Project Size)

  • Information Systems have played a strategic role in achieving business goal and become an essential tool in today's business environment. Thus, the number of developing SI project has increased and it becomes complex and sophisticated. It is known that project manager's leadership could lead the project success. In this study, project manager's competencies are divided into two types, information competency(information-oriented mind, information utilization competency, information development competency) and managerial competency(project management, human relationship, project expertise. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of information competency and managerial competency on the SI project success and to find out the moderating effect of project size. The result of this study reveals that information utilization competency, project management competency and human relationship have a strong relationship with both customers and suppliers side of projet success. Moreover, the relationship between managers' competencies and project success is shown to be different by project size. The result of this study implies that each managers' competencies has to be developed and applied according to project's complexity and size.

공공도서관장의 리더십 역량모델 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Developing of a Leadership Competency Model for Public Library Directors)

  • 본 연구는 성공적인 공공도서관 운영을 위한 공공도서관장의 리더십 역량모델 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 문헌연구를 통한 내용분석법, 우수성과자로 구성된 포커스그룹 인터뷰, 서울특별시 자치단체소속 공공도서관의 관장 및 사서를 대상으로 한 설문조사와 전문가를 통한 타당성 검증 등의 복합적인 연구방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 19개 요소로 구성된 국내 공공도서관장 리더십 역량모델을 개발하였으며, 이는 향후 공공도서관장 리더십 역량개발 및 강화를 위한 근거로 활용될 수 있다.

Effects of medical communication curriculum on perceptions of Korean medical school students

  • Purpose: The study examines changes in students' self-assessment of their general communication (GC) and medical communication (MC) competencies, as well as perceptions of MC concepts. Methods: Participants included 108 second year medical students enrolled at a Korean medical school studying an MC curriculum. It was divided into three sections, and participants responded to questionnaires before and after completing each section. To assess perceived GC and MC competency, items based on a 7-point Likert scale were employed; a single open-ended item was used to examine students' perceptions of MC. Statistical analysis was conducted to gauge GC and MC competency, whereas semantic network analysis was used to investigate students' perceptions of MC. Results: Students perceived their GC competency to be higher than MC. Perceived MC competency differed significantly across the three sections, whereas no differences were found for GC. There were no statistically significant differences after completing the curriculum's second and third sections; however, the vocabulary students used to describe MC concepts became more scholarly and professional. In the semantic networks, the link structure between MC-related words decreased in linearity and looseness, becoming more complex and clustered. The words 'information' and 'transfer' proved integral to students' perceptions; likewise, 'empathy' and 'communication' became closely connected in a single community from two independent communities. Conclusion: This study differed from prior research by conducting an in-depth analysis of changes in students' perceptions of MC, and its findings can be used to guide curriculum development.

  • 본 논문은 전문대학 비서 관련학과의 융합 형 인재 개발을 위한 표준화 역량기반과 이원적 전공기반의 다중 기반에 근거한 교과과정체계 수립을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 수도권 비서관련 학과 분석을 통해 요소능력을 추출, 역량계열화 및 그룹핑을 토대로 도출한 역량군과 NCS에서 제시하고 있는 표준화 역량을 기저로 현행 교과의 역량 표준화 기반을 시안적으로 제안하고 이를 현행 H여대 비서 인재과의 이원적 교과과정과 교직시킴으로써 다중기반 교과과정 체계를 수립하고자 하였다. 이는 비서 분야와 경영, 회계, 행정 기타 분야가 서로 융합하여 이원적으로 이루어진 여타 비서관련 학과의 교과과정 수립에 시사점을 줌으로써 역량기반 융합 형 인재개발의 프레임웍을 이룰 수 있는 하나의 제언이 될 것이라 생각한다.

OECD Education 2030에서 제안된 핵심역량의 2015 개정 가정과 교육과정 반영 특성 분석 (Analysis on Reflection Characteristics of the Key Competencies Proposed by the OECD Education 2030 in the 2015 Revised Home Economics Curriculum)

  • 본 연구는 OECD Education 2030 프로젝트에서 제시하고 있는 핵심역량의 반영 특성을 2015 개정 가정과 교육과정에서 분석하고자 하였으며 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 핵심역량 범주에서 일반적인 특징은 기능, 태도, 가치 영역은 46.5%로, 학습 개념 프레임워크 영역은 17%, 역량 개발 사이클 영역은 24.2%, 복합 역량 영역은 12.5%로 나타났다. 전체적으로 교육과정 항목에서 성취기준(59%), 성격(16.1%), 교수·학습 평가 방향(9.4%), 내용체계(8%), 목표(7.6%) 순으로 반영되었으며 학습 개념 프레임워크의 역량은 성취기준에 가장 많이 반영되었다. 둘째, 핵심역량 항목은 중학교 교육과정에서 행동, 문제해결, 의사소통, 존중, 창의적 사고, 갈등해결, 공감, 비판적 사고, 자기관리, 학생 주체성 순으로 나타났다. 고등학교 교육과정에서 행동, 공감, 문제해결, 예측, 글로벌 역량, 자기관리, 학생 주체성, 지속가능 발전을 위한 리터러시, 반성, 비판적 사고 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 열지도를 통해 3, 4단계에 해당되는 역량의 반영 정도가 높게 나타나 핵심역량의 효과적인 실천을 계획하고 지원할 필요가 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 미래를 위한 학습 안내자의 역할로 OECD에서 강조하는 핵심역량과 가정교과 역량 간의 상호관련성을 파악하고 실천 교과로서 개인의 총체적인 역량 함양을 도울 수 있어야 할 것이다.

PISA 2012 공개 문항을 활용한 예비수학교사의 수학내용지식 분석 사례연구 (Analysis of Mathematics Preservice Teachers' Mathematical Content Knowledge based on PISA 2012 Items)

  • Mathematics preservice teachers' Mathematical Content Knowledge ("MCK") includes not only knowledge for mathematics, but also academic knowledge for school mathematics and mathematical process knowledge. We can consider the items in PISA 2012 as suitable tools to assess process knowledge as well as mathematical content knowledge because these items are developed by competent international educational experts. Therefore, the responses to items with the low percentage of correct answers in conjunction with the mathematical contents were analyzed with focus on FMC. The results showed the reasoning competency in responses using the conditions of the problem and of understanding the conditions after reading the complex problems within the context (i.e. the reasoning and argumentation competency, and communication competency) requires improvements. Furthermore the results indicated the errors due to a lack of ability of devising strategies for problem solving. Based on the foregoing results, the implications towards the directions of the education for the preservice mathematics teachers have been derived.

  • SE generally defines approaching ways of conducting identification, verification and integration of an optimized product and process solution to meet customer's needs by leveraging organizational competency in engineering and management. To successfully develop a new product under mass production contract, it is important to efficiently carry out the program by ensuring that three major competencies are secured; core technology, system integration, and program management. For successful implementation of tasks in the three areas, systematic execution is called for, which requires identifying risk factors in advance. In particular, comprehensive risk management role and responsibility is required for program management. Success of a development program is determined by complex elements of human resources, organization culture, and overall competency of an organization in technology and program management, including capability of the program manager. In this paper, a risk management solution is suggested to lead a program to success with a more efficient way through actual risk management by the concept of SE around the above three areas.

Policy Suggestions for Fostering Teacher ICT Competencies in Developing Countries: An ODA Project Case in Peru

  • Many developing countries consider ICT as a key enabler to improve their educational systems and teachers are viewed as change agents. This paper aims to present policy suggestions concerning how to foster teachers' ICT competencies in developing countries based on the outcomes of an ODA project case in Peru. This study was conducted through three stages: Literature survey, site visit, and policy suggestions. To draw relevant policy suggestions, we employed the framework of the 'macro-meso-micro' level of teacher professional development. The following policy suggestions are discussed: (a) macro level: to develop the national framework of teacher ICT competencies and competency-based teacher training, (b) meso-level: to promote teacher communities of practices and school-based research programs, and (c) micro-level: to redesign teacher professional development programs to help teachers better understand the complex relationships between content, pedagogy, and technology, beyond learning about basic ICT literacy skills. This study contributes to the understanding of how ODA projects can approach the issue of teacher ICT capacity building at multiple levels.

핵심역량 지향성과 프로세스 관리역량이 IT 아웃소싱 성과에 미치는 연구 (An Empirical Investigation into the Role of Core-Competency Orientation and IT Outsourcing Process Management Capability)

  • Recently, the role of IT service providers has been enlarged from managing a single function or system to reconstructing entire information management processes in new ways to contribute to shareholder value across the enterprise. This movement toward extensive and complex outsourcing agreements has been driven by the assumption that outsourcing information technology functions is a reliable approach to maximizing resource productivity. Hiring external IT service providers to manage part or all of its information-related services helps a firm focus on its core business and provides better services to its clients, thus obtaining sustainable competitive advantage. This practice of focusing on the strategic aspect of outsourcing is referred to as strategic sourcing where the focus is capability sourcing, not procurement. Given the importance of the strategic outsourcing, however, to our knowledge, there is little empirical research on the relationship between the strategic outsourcing orientation and outsourcing performance. Moreover, there is little research on the factor that makes the strategic outsourcing effective. This study is designed to investigate the relationship between strategic IT outsourcing orientation and IT outsourcing performance and the process through which strategic IT outsourcing orientation influences outsourcing performance, Based on the framework of strategic orientation-performance and core competence based management, this study first identifies core competency orientation as a proper strategic orientation pertinent to IT outsourcing and IT outsourcing process management capability as the mediator to affect IT outsourcing performance. The proposed research model is then tested with a sample of 200 firms. The findings of this study may contribute to the literature in two ways. First, it draws on the strategic orientation - performance framework in developing its research model so that it can provide a new perspective to the well studied phenomena. This perspective allows practitioners and researchers to look at outsourcing from an angle that emphasizes the strategic decision making to outsource its IT functions. Second, by separating the concept of strategic orientation and outsourcing process management capability, this study provides practices with insight into how the strategic orientation can work effectively to achieve an expected result. In addition, the current study provides a basis for future studies that examine the factors affecting IT outsourcing performance with more controllable factors such as IT outsourcing process management capability rather than external hard-to-control factors including trust and relationship management. This study investigates the major factors that determine IT outsourcing success. Based on strategic orientation and core competency theories, we develop the proposed research model to investigate the relationship between core competency orientation and IT outsourcing performance and the mediating role of IT outsourcing process management capability on IT outsourcing performance. The model consists of two independent variables (core-competency-orientation and IT outsourcing process management capability), and two dependent variables (outsourced task complexity and IT outsourcing performance). Comprehensive data collection was conducted through an outsourcing association. The survey data were analyzed using a structural analysis method. IT outsourcing process management capability was found to mediate the effect of core competency orientation on both outsourced task complexity and IT outsourcing performance. Further analysis and findings are discussed.

성인간호학 학습목표 개발을 위한 간호실무 조사연구 (A Survey of the Scope of Nursing Competency for Developing Learning Objectives In Adult Health Nursing)

  • Nurses in today's challenging health care settings need to be skilled critical thinkers and clinical experts. The nurse must be able to use a broad knowledge base to mobilize resources, coordinate actions and evaluate outcomes in complex new situations. So the national licensing examination for registered nurses is change to improve the quality of professional competency of nurses in Korea. Prior to this, learning objectives should be developed and improved periodically. The purpose of this study is to describe the nursing competency to provide base line data for developing learning objectives in adult health nursing. This study was conducted by means of a questionnaire which was developed by the researcher after reviewing the literature. The questionnaire was based on learning objectives which were developed by a nation-wide nursing faculty majoring in adult health nursing. The subjects were 45 nurses in a middle level hospital. The collected data were treated using SPSS Win 7.5 Statistical Package so as to obtain such descriptive statistics as mean score, frequency, and to test reliability test, nonpar-Friedman test. To summarize the major findings in this study, it showed the scope of nursing competency and can guide the direction of study and methodological criteria to develop learning objectives. Recommendations for further research are: firstly, it is necessary to state learning objectives with learners' behavioral terminology; secondly, to overcome locality in scope of this study, there is a need to analyze with nation-wide sampling by an in-depth statistical analysis; thirdly, because the subjects of this study are mostly three-year graduate nurses, there is a need to compare this study with other studies of different subjects.
