The number of multi-cultural members, such as immigrant labors, international marriage women are gradually increasing in Japan society. Now it might be said that Japan has become a multi-cultural society. Recently in Japanese kindergartens and nursery schools the numbers of foreign and bi-cultural children are increasing. The aim of this paper is to review the researches on the cultural diversity in the Japan, especially in childcare. Methodology proceeds from a review of related literature to internet-based data and to the statistics issued by the government. Through reviewing them, the problems of teachers' assumptions and the importance of discussions about teachers' competencies to educate minority children and to communicate with their parents were suggested. As a switch over to multi-cultural society is occurring in Japan, the attitude of assimilationism is weakening, and the local community is now beginning to tolerate the multi-cultural childcare. Consequently, It was over to age that is distinguish identity from only nationality.
In fostering dynamic, innovative SMEs, hidden champion companies can be an appropriate model for SMEs to learn the success factors. On the other hand, the need for intellectual property management is becoming important as the value of a company is changing from a financial asset to an intellectual property. Therefore, in this study, the patent portfolio analysis of the hidden champion companies mentioned in Herman Simmon's book "Hidden Champion" was performed. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that patents are not possessed or patent activities are actively carried out and a differentiated intellectual property management strategy is implemented to improve patent quality depending on the characteristics of the technology possessed. The results of these studies can be used as basic data to prepare an intellectual property management strategy for companies that want to create opportunities to acquire monopoly rights and reduce patent maintenance and management costs. In addition, in this study, the patent IPC analysis verified that Herman Simmon's claim that "Hidden champions have the ability to focus on core competencies and focus on one technology" is valid.

Scientific inquiry has emphasized its importance in various aspects of science learning and has been performed according to various methods and purposes. Among the various aspects of science learning, it is emphasized to develop core competencies with science, such as scientific thinking. Therefore, it is necessary to support students to be able to formulate scientific reasoning properly. This study attempts to explore problem-finding and scientific reasoning in the process of performing scientific inquiry. This study also aims to reveal what factors influence this complex process. For this purpose, this study analyzed the inquiry process and results performed by two groups of college students who conducted the inquiry related to osmosis. To analyze, research plans, presentations, and group interviews were used. As a result, it was found that participants used various scientific reasoning, such as deductive, inductive, and abductive reasoning, in the process of problem finding for their inquiry about osmosis. In the process of inquiry and reasoning complexly, anomalous data, which appear regularly, and the characteristics of experimental instruments influenced their reasoning. Various reasons were produced for the purpose of constructing the best explanation about the phenomena observed by participants themselves. Finally, based on the results of this study, several implications for the development context of programs using scientific inquiry are discussed.

This Research is based on the theory of the prior researches that have demonstrated a positive impact of the entrepreneurship and competitive advantages on business performance. And the purpose of this research which approaches in the viewpoint of combining a entrepreneurial attribute including two factors(entrepreneurship and commercialization capabilities) and the differentiated competitive advantage as a role of core competence is to examine how the combined competence affects the business performance. In order to achieve this purpose, we conduct a survey for CEO of 250 small firms which belong to the start-up phase and are located in the 6 administrative region with the assistance of Small & Medium Business Administration representatives and analyze empirically the survey data by utilizing statistical program(Spss 18.0). As the results, we conclude that the entrepreneurial attributes of small firms' CEO and DFCA have a positive impact on business performance respectively and the entrepreneurship, one of the two entrepreneurial factors, has a positive impact on choosing DFCA. Also we report that DFCA plays a mediating role with regards to relationship between entrepreneurial attributes and business performance. Therefore, this research suggests the followings: First, the CEO of start-up business should focus on building a differential competitive advantage which is the basis for creating competitiveness from the initial point. Secondly, he should make a alignment for core competencies, in order to reach the stable growth phase in the shortest period, through which the entrepreneurial attributes is to be inherent as a discriminatory competitive competence. Third, he should promote to establish a business strategy based on strengthening of entrepreneurship and discriminatory competitive as a growth strategy during start-up phase.

The purpose of this study is to develop and to verify an effect of a group counselling program for children who are in need of improving social skills and relationships. In order to meet this goal, the study procedure was employed as follows: First, the literature review of studies on childrens in social welfare institutions was implemented. Second, to analyze need of staffs in facilities and to specify the present condition of children, 100 staffs were participated in basic investigation. The result of investigation revealed that social skill development programs should be held in form of total 11~12 sessions once or twice in a week, with 50~60 minutes per session. Third, based on the literature review and current situation investigation results, a program for improving social skills and competencies of children was developed. To verify the program, two groups composed of elementary children who are fourth grade to sixth grade were organized. The groups were a experimental group which was provided with a group counselling program and a control group with no program. The program was composed of twelve sessions throughout six weeks, and the subjects took social skill test after taking the program to verify educational effects. T-test were implemented to analyze difference of the test results of two groups statistically. As a result of a research, following major two findings were specified: (1) experimental group showed significant difference in the score of self-assertion, cooperation, and self-control, which indicates that the program was effective for social skill improvement: (2) according to the test result, the self-assertion, cooperation, and self-control skills were clearly improved. In conclusion, the program turned out to be an effective and a positive educational device to enhance social skills of the children. The program developing model were suggested to improve social skills of children in the state of family devision based on the study findings. The follow-up future studies should elaborate program models for various-aged children and for children with various learning styles. Furthermore, qualitative study method should be employed which can specify social attitude change of children.

We investigated how entrepreneurship, information technology acceptance, and media utilization influence on office worker commitment and how effects are modulated by learning orientation. The purpose of this study is to identify variables that influence on office worker commitment. To do so, entrepreneurship, information technology acceptance, and media utilization that are the core competencies of individuals and organizations in the era of smart information are proposed as predictor variables, office worker commitment as a outcome variable and learning orientation as a modulator. For this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted on office workers, and finally 340 valid questionnaires are used for analysis. Hierarchical regression analysis is used with demographic characteristics as control variables and learning orientation as a modulating variables. A result showed that the higher need for achievement and proactiveness of entrepreneurship is, the higher job commitment is and that the perceived usefulness of information technology acceptance and communication utilization ability of media utilization competitiveness have a positive effect on job commitment. A research showed that learning orientation is modulating the relationship between entrepreneurship and job commitment, and between media utilization capability and job commitment, respectively. We concluded that we should actively seek synergies of learning orientation along with accumulation of online communication utilization capacity and perceived usefulness of information technology, and of proactiveness need for achievement and in entrepreneurship in order to improve the work committment in the smart information society where the digital environment is advanced.

There are common features among successful entrepreneurs without regarding to the stages of startup like challenge, growth, leap and maturity stages. We know that the successful entrepreneurs have strong entrepreneurship and interpersonal competency through many experiences in the real field of startup ecosystem. Entrepreneurship has a positive effect on intention to start a business, and the importance of entrepreneurship in business startups has been found through many studies. In addition, in most curriculum of startup, entrepreneurship education is operated like an introduction to the startup education. However, in research on entrepreneurship and education on entrepreneurship, it is not easy to find other factors related to interpersonal competence except for leadership. In this study, we redefined relation-building competences in consideration of relation-building parts such as self-openness, affinity, communication, empathy and consideration among various competencies of interpersonal relations, and analyzed the difference of startup intention according to the degree of relation-building competences. As a result, there was a significant difference in the degree of relation-building competences between the group of start-up entrepreneurs and the group with no intention of starting a business. It was proved that the relation-building competences is important for entrepreneurs. Therefore, in addition to studying entrepreneurship, which is represented by conductivity, innovation, autonomy, and risk sensitivity, the studying of relationship-building competences should be continued. It is expected that various research results analyzing the relationship between startups and relationship-building competences will be reflected in entrepreneurship education.

This paper aims at delivering significant implications to high-tech startups by visualizing the implementation process of leading KOSDAQ listed companies's business model. This paper founded two meaningful outcomes; first, hish-tech starts-up make a clear direction of implementing intangible business model in real business, second, targeting the role model of benchmarking business model among leading companies, by linking common feature between high-tech starts-up and leading KOSDAQ listed venutures sharing one of Key performance indexes falls on viable business model. The research results of visualizing the implementation of leading KOSDAQ listed ventures' business model shows three major implications. First, business model indicates not just simple logic of creating and delivering values, but more shows CEO leading management vehicle. Second, business model represents the multi-dimension process itself of integrating in and out company's core assets and competencies initiated by CEO. Third, financial outcomes of business model is automatic result of implementing on setting target customer, creating value, and delivering it rather than planned strategically. Fourth, the focal points of implementing business model falls on collecting real information from business sites.
Being in the globally competitive environment, public port enterprises which accentuate on the employment of excellent talents to procure competitive advantage are introducing the NCS(National Competency Standards)-based employment system that focuses on job skills. This study mainly aims to analyze the actual status of NCS utilization among public port enterprises and its usefulness as well as performance. The appropriateness, efficiency, satisfaction, comprehensiveness and performance of the current NCS - based employment system were analyzed by using collected data from the recruiting officers and new employees as subjects. And eventually an improvement plan was suggested. The result of analysis shows that the appropriateness and satisfaction level of NCS - based employment system are generally high; while its effectiveness, applicants' recognition and acceptance level as well as performance are slightly higher. Moreover, the job capability and performance on the job of new employee selected by the NCS employment system were analyzed to be higher when the appropriateness and satisfaction level of that system is high. In order to establish NCS - based employment system, early formulation and implementation of job performance assessment system to evaluate the actual abilities and performance of job is necessary. This study suggested the NCS - based employment system is effective for public port enterprises to procure excellent talents, as well as being useful for job preparation of job seekers according to the job competencies requirement of the enterprises. Therefore, this study contributes to the proliferation of NCS - based recruitment system.
With business environments around the world facing uncertainty and complexity, companies have focused on supply chain management as one of the essential elements in securing a competitive advantage. Successful supply chain management requires internal efforts to strengthen the core competencies of the company and the integration of individual functions in the supply chain. This study aims to investigate the effect of information sharing between companies on supply chain integration and corporate performance. The research hypothesis established in previous studies was analyzed using structural equation modeling. A total of 723 questionnaire responses were used to test the hypotheses of this study. We found that the integration and sharing of information between companies have a great influence on supply chain integration, which has positive effects on corporate performance at the operational and strategic levels, including finance, market share, and customer satisfaction. The integration of supply chains via information integration and sharing between companies can promote the flow of information, services, goods, and money. Therefore, if information is disconnected between actors in the supply chain, it will lead to negative effects on the management of the entire supply chain. On the other hand, if supply chain actors can share information efficiently in real time on one platform, they can expect to optimize the entire supply chain. Information sharing and integration at the strategic and operational levels play a vital role in supply chain integration, which contributes to achieving a company's performance targets and enhancing its competitiveness.
