차기군위성통신에서 지상망 ALL-IP 연동을 위한 네트워크 운용구조 및 데이터링크 프로토콜 연구 (A Study on Network Operation Structure and DataLink Protocol for Interworking of Ground Network ALL-IP at Next-Military Satellite Communication)

  • The military satellite communication of ROK military, ANASIS is designed for analog data such as voice and streaming data. ANASIS cannot fully support ALL-IP communications due to its long propagation delay. The next generation satellite communication system is being designed to overcome the limitation. Next generation satellite communications system considers both high-speed and low-speed networks to support various operating environment. The low-speed satellite supports both broadband and narrow-band communication. This network works as the infrastructure for of wide-area internetworking over multiple AS's in the terrestrial network. It requires minimum satellite frequency and minimum power and works without PEP and router. In this paper, we propose a network operation structure to enable the inter-operation between high and low-speed satellite networks. In addition, we propose a data link protocol for low speed satellite networks.

  • Unbalance between user requirements and insufficient network resources makes a congestion. In the future since the communication networks will have very heavy traffic congestion will be more serious. The ATM networks was recommended to support the B-ISDN service for the future multimedia communication. In thie sense of congestion avoidance and recovery the ABR service category in ATM networks allows the feedback flow control mechanism to dynamically allocate the idle bandwidth of the network to users fairly and to control the network congestion rapidly In this paper we introduce a congestion control scheme using systematical approach to confirm robust stability with respect to unknown round trip delay for the network which has both unicast and multicast connections.

Game Theoretic Modeling for Mobile Malicious Node Detection Problem in Static Wireless Sensor Networks

  • Game theory has been regarded as a useful theoretical tool for modeling the interactions between distinct entities and thus it has been harnessed in various research field. In particular, research attention has been shown to how to apply game theory to modeling the interactions between malign and benign entities in the field of wireless networks. Although various game theoretic modeling work have been proposed in the field of wireless networks, our proposed work is disparate to the existing work in the sense that we focus on mobile malign node detection problem in static wireless sensor networks. More specifically, we propose a Bayesian game theoretic modeling for mobile malign node detection problem in static wireless sensor networks. In our modeling, we formulate a two-player static Bayesian game with imperfect information such that player 1 is aware of the type of player 2, but player 2 is not aware of the type of player 1. We use four strategies in our static Bayesian game. We obtain Bayesian Nash Equilibria with pure strategies under certain conditions.

  • 무선 센서 네트워크는 특정 지역의 센서 정보를 센서 노드를 통해 수집하는 네트워크이다. 지역 내 센서 노드의 측정된 데이터는 데이터를 수집, 처리하여 사용자에게 전달하는 싱크 노드로 전송된다. 하지만, 센서 네트워크를 구성하는 센서 노드의 제한된 능력 때문에 센서 노드의 저전력 동작 기법이 필요하다. 센서 네트워크에서 노드들은 주위 노드가 유사한 데이터를 측정한다는 특성을 갖기 때문에 클러스터를 형성하여 클러스터 헤드로 데이터를 전송하는 클러스터링 기법이 저전력 동작 기법에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있다. 다중 흡 기반의 클러스터링 형성 기법에서 클러스터 내 멤버 노드의 개수는 균형적인 클러스터 형성에 영향을 주기 때문에, 클러스터링 기법은 클러스터를 균등하게 분할하는 방법이 필요하다. 이를 위해, 본문은 클러스터 내 적절한 멤버 노드를 설정하여, 에너지 효율적인 센서네트워크 클러스터링 방법을 제안한다.

  • Satellite communication systems will play an important role in establishing high-speed information communication network ddue to the characteristics of flexibility of bandwidth, mobile communication, wide coverage, multipoint and broadcasting. Also satellite systems have the capability to supply terrestrial B-ISDN with flexible links for accessing networks as well as trunking networks. Therefore, satellites must provide compatibility to earth-based B-ISDN signalling interface, services and network capability. This paper proposed interworking model between terrestrial B-ISDN and satellite B-ISDN signalling protocol and illustrated basic call-process procedure of satellite B-ISDN signalling protocol supporting point-to-point and point-to-multipoint connection.

  • We propose the sensor networks middleware based on publish/subscribe model for adaptive service to client. Publish/subscribe middleware make capability of sensor to data through the advertisement message. Based on capability of sensor, Publish/subscribe middleware adaptively service to client. And client make a collection of information that it require. Therefore middleware service more effectively.

  • This paper presents a new method for the optimum capacity assignment in store-and-forward communication networks under a total fixed-capacity constraints. Any two link capacities needed in this method can have the desirable quantites and then other capacities can be obtained from the fixed two link capacities. When the minimum and the maximum capacities that are the quantites of the conventional method are fixed, the total average time delay from the new method is almost the same as that from the conventional method. And when the minimum capacity is fixed, the new method gives smaller average time delay.

  • In this paper, we discribed characteristics of two buffer which are limited area in packet communication networks, we selected JSQ(Join the Shortest Queue) method for buffrt management and compared it with single, random methods. The blocking probabilities of massage using JSQ method is decreased about (2.5 times) in compared with that of single queue method and (0.5 times) in random selection method. This results could be used in designing packet switching communication networks.

Adaptive Differentiated Integrated Routing Scheme for GMPLS-based Optical Internet

  • A new online multi-layer integrated routing (MLIR) scheme that combines IP (electrical) layer routing with WDM (optical) layer routing is investigated. It is a highly efficient and cost-effective routing scheme viable for the next generation integrated optical Internet. A new simplified weighted graph model for the integrated optical Internet consisted of optical routers with multi-granularity optical-electrical hybrid switching capability is firstly proposed. Then, based on the proposed graph model, we develop an online integrated routing scheme called differentiated weighted fair algorithm (DWFA) employing adaptive admission control (routing) strategies with the motivation of service/bandwidth differentiation, which can jointly solve multi-layer routing problem by simply applying the minimal weighted path computation algorithm. The major objective of DWFA is fourfold: 1) Quality of service (QoS) routing for traffic requests with various priorities; 2) blocking fairness for traffic requests with various bandwidth granularities; 3) adaptive routing according to the policy parameters from service provider; 4) lower computational complexity. Simulation results show that DWFA performs better than traditional overlay routing schemes such as optical-first-routing (OFR) and electrical-first-routing (EFR), in terms of traffic blocking ratio, traffic blocking fairness, average traffic logical hop counts, and global network resource utilization. It has been proved that the DWFA is a simple, comprehensive, and practical scheme of integrated routing in optical Internet for service providers.

고 신뢰성 항공기 무선 네트워크 동향 및 기술 분석 (Analysis of Wireless Network Technology for High Reliability Aircraft Networks)

  • 본 논문에서는 항공기의 내부 네트워크를 유선에서 무선으로 대체하기 위해 무선 통신망 기술들의 성능을 비교한다. 기존 항공기의 유선 네트워크가 가지는 다양한 장비와 센서의 복잡한 구조에 따른 무게증가 그리고 유지보수 문제 및 비용 등의 단점과, 차세대 항공기 네트워크에서 요구되는 통신 속도 및 통신량 등의 성능적인 측면에 대한 요구사항이 증가하고 있다. 국제전기통신연합(ITU)에서 제안한 WAIC(Wireless Avionics Intra-Communications)는 기존 유선 항공기 네트워크의 요구사항을 기반으로 항공기 내/외부 환경 등을 고려한 무선네트워크 구조를 정의했다. 본 논문에서는 WAIC에서는 제안한 무선네트워크 구조에 적용할 수 있는 무선 통신망 기술들의 특징과 장단점을 고려한다. 또한 항공기 무선네트워크에 적용 가능한 무선 통신망 기술들을 비교 분석하여 WAIC에서 제안한 무선 항공기 토폴로지 환경 구조에 적합한 무선 통신망 기술 후보군을 알아본다.
