농촌의 잠재적 가치에 의한 농촌지역개발 평가지표 연구 (Evaluation Index of Rural Development for Producing Potential Value of Rural Regions on a Commercial Scale)

  • The purpose of this research was to develop evaluation index of regional development for producing potential values of rural regions besides agriculture on a commercial scale. Rural regions have potential values such as preserved nature and spatial advantages and so on. For regional development, potential values should be synthetically evaluated by objective and standard index for supporting decision. For evaluation of plural functions of rural regions, evaluation index of rural regions was developed based on rural amenity. Applicability of evaluation index was studied using GIS and natural break method.

Development of a Low-cost Metering Device for Automatic Mixing of Nutrient-Solution

  • A low-cost and precise metering device, which is suitable to automatic mixing of nutrient-solution for hydroponic culture, was developed for small-scale growers. The metering accuracy of the metering device developed was compared with commercial metering pumps. The mixing performance through the control of EC and pH was also evaluated. The accuracy of the metering device in terms of the full -scale error was $\pm$0.3% , which was much better compared to $\pm$2.45% and $\pm$1.38% for the two types of commercial metering pumps. The mixing system of nutrient-solution with the metering device showed a satisfactory control performance with the accuracies of $\pm$0.05mS/cm and$\pm$0.2pH for EC and pH, respectively.

순산소 석탄 연소 발전 시스템의 성능 평가 - 동력 사이클의 열역학적 해석 (Performance Evaluation of an Oxy-coal-fired Power Generation System - Thermodynamic Evaluation of Power Cycle)

  • Power generation systems based on the oxy-coal combustion with carbon dioxide capture and storage (CCS) capability are being proposed and discussed lately. Although a large number of lab scale studies for oxy-coal power plant have been made, studies of pilot scale or commercial scale power plant are not enough. Only a few demonstration projects for oxy-coal power plant are publicized recently. The proposed systems are evolving and various alternatives are to be comparatively evaluated. This paper presents a proposed approach for performance evaluation of a commercial 100 MWe class power plant, which is currently being considered for 'retrofitting' for the demonstration of the concept. The system is configurated based on design and operating conditions with proper assumptions. System components to be included in the discussion are listed. Evaluation criteria in terms of performance are summarized based on the system heat and mass balance and simple performance parameters, such as the fuel to power efficiency and brief introduction of the second law analysis. Also, gas composition is identified for additional analysis to impurities in the system including the purity of oxygen and unwanted gaseous components of nitrogen, argon and oxygen in air separation unit and $CO_2$ processing unit.

소규모 건축공사 안전관리용 애플리케이션 프로토타입 개발 (Development of an Application Prototype for Small-Scale Construction Safety Management)

  • In Korea, there is a lack of adequate safety management for small-scale construction work, particularly when compared to large-scale construction projects. The number of construction disasters is also higher on small-scale construction sites. In this regard, this study aimed to develop the application prototype to support the safety management of small-scale construction projects. The major findings of the research are as follows. 1) About 60% of construction disasters and death occurred on small-scale construction sites over the last two years. In addition, institutional support and costs for safety management were found to be insufficient. 2) The items of the application for the small-scale construction safety management were constructed on the basis of the safety management of large-scale construction work. The contents of the application were confirmed based on a survey of small-scale construction project managers. 3) The application algorithm was developed with a focus on the roles of management subjects and information exchange. For transition from the application prototype presented in this study to a commercial product, further research needs to be conducted regarding the reflection of user requirements and application management subjects.

1/10 축소 철근콘크리트보의 휨 거동에관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Flexural Behavior of 1/10-Scale Reinforced Concrete Beams)

  • Three types of model concrete with different mix ratios for 1/10 scale reinforced concrete model were made and tested to find the best solution for the simulation of mechanical characteristics of prototype concrete. Scaled reinforcing materials in diameter(D1.8) having similar con-figuration and mechanical properties with commercial deformed bars(D19) were prepared for 1/10 scale model tests of reinforced concrete structures. Two types of model test using D1.8 model reinforcing bars and model concrete, monotonic simple beam test and cyclic cantilever beam test, were performed to ensure and check the similitude of bond behavior between 1/10 scale model and prototype. The test results showed that the flexural behavior of 1/10 scale models can be simulated with accuracy enough for practical use in monotonic and cyclic loading test.

건축행위 유형별 필지의 공간적 특성 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on Spatial Characteristics of Parcel by Type of Building Construction)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the spatial characteristics of the parcels in which building construction occurred. In recent, urban development patterns in Korea have been shifting from the past. Small-scale development at parcel level is becoming more important in accordance with individual location needs in the low-growth era unlike public lead large-scale urban development in the rapid growth period. Therefore, it is necessary to study the spatial characteristics of the parcels where small-scale development takes place for future urban development management. This study used the chi square independence test, t-test and ANOVA (analysis of variance) to identify the spatial characteristics. The results of the study show that there is a spatial characteristics difference not only between building construction and non-building construction parcels, but also by type of building construction. The parcel where the building construction occurred have a higher proportion in detached house, major commercial districts, district unit planning areas, and commercial areas. In addition, it is caused by parcels, which are large scale and economically valuable, and are influenced by traffic factors such as urban centers and subway accessibility. As a result of each type of building construction, the parcels where the building use change occurred have spatial characteristic difference compared to other building construction, while the spatial characteristics are similar between the new construction/extension and new construction/extension with change of use. Based on this results, it will be possible to identify areas with high demand for small-scale development in the future and to utilize them for planning management of urban development. Furthermore, it will be possible to manage development demand by type of building construction, and to prepare differentiated plans considering the appropriateness of development plan, availability of infrastructure, and harmony with surrounding environment.

시판김치에 대한 의식과 관능적 특성 (Consciousness and Sensory Characteristics on Commercial Kimchi)

  • He purpose of this study was to provide basic data for improvement commercial kimchi quality. To examine the consciousness of commercial kimchi, college students residing in the Jeonnam area were selected and asked to questionnaires. Commercial kimchi samples used included a total of 7 kinds which were fermented for 2 week at $4^{\circ}C$. A sensory characteristics included 10 items with a 5-score scale: color, savory taste, carbonated taste, sour taste, hot taste, salty taste, bitter taste, off-flavor, texture, and overall preference. 76% of the whole student liked kimchi, especially well-fermented kimchi(43.2%) and kimchi with fermented fish(48.6%). Participants liked savory(21.6%), hot(17.1%), and crispy(14.4%) taste. Their most favorite kimchi was the whole cabbage kimchi(26.1%), wild lettuce kimchi(0.9%) and watery kimchi made of sliced radishes(1.8%) were low in preference. 56.8% of participants had no experience in making kimchi. They mainly bought commercial kimchi in grocery stores(37.8%) or shopping malls(29.7%). They pointed out the addition of artificial sweeter(35.1%), insanitation, and discredit of kimchi materials(21.6%) as problems of commercial kimchi. The sensory characteristics of commercial fresh kimchi was significantly different in color($2.6{\sim}4.1$), and hot($2.3{\sim}3.8$), and salty($2.6{\sim}3.5$) with p<0.001. The sensory characteristics of $4^{\circ}C$-fermented commercial kimchi for 2 week was significantly different in color($2.7{\sim}3.9$), and salty($2.1{\sim}4.0$) with p<0.001. It was found that color, and hot, and salty taste had the greatest effect on the overall preference in non-fermented kimchi, and color and salty taste, in 2 week fermented kimchi

가맹점주 특성에 따른 Social Franchising 개념의 적용 방식에 대한 연구 (An Exploratory Study on the Application Method of Social Franchising by Franchisee's Characteristics)

  • 일반적으로 프랜차이즈는 영리를 추구하는 상업적 기업의 성격을 가지고 있으므로 영리를 추구하는 가맹본부의 입장에서는 사업의 성과를 최대한 높일 수 있도록 기업가 정신이 높고 사업 관련 역량이 높은 가맹점을 선호하게 되는데, 오히려 이러한 가맹점은 프랜차이즈에 대한 의존성이 상대적으로 낮다. 반면 기업가 정신도 부족하고 사업역량도 부족한 영세 가맹점의 경우에는 오히려 집중적인 가맹사업자의 관리가 필요하나 일부의 경우 능력이 부재한 가맹본부로부터 제대로 된 관리를 받지 못하고 실패하는 사례가 증가하고 있다. 최근 사회적 기업분야에서 확산되고 있는 소셜 프랜차이징이나 미소 프랜차이징은 이러한 측면에서 소규모 영세 가맹점을 대상으로 하는 프랜차이즈의 전략방향에 대한 많은 점을 시사한다는 전제하에 본 연구는 소셜 프랜차이징이 도시 영세민의 자활에 도움을 주고자 하는 목적에서 몇 가지 가설을 제안하고 있다.
