간호대학생의 자아탄력성, 스트레스 대처방식이 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Ego-resilience and Stress Coping Styles on College Adaptation in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of ego-resilience and stress coping styles on college adaptation in nursing students. Method: The sample for this study consisted of 1st and 2nd year students from 3 colleges of nursing, one each, in Jeolla, Chungcheong, and Gyeongsang Provinces. The data were collected from November 5 to 22, 2010. The data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation and multiple regression with SPSS 18.0. Results: A positive correlation was found for college adaptation with stress coping styles and ego-resilience. The strongest predictor of college adaptation was an optimistic attitude. In addition optimistic attitude, satisfaction with nursing as a major, confidence, academic scores, age, emotional control, and gender accounted for 63.3% of variance in college adaptation. Conclusions: The results of this study suggest that development of stress coping and ego-resilience in nursing students is important to college adaptation. Further research in improving ego-resilience and stress coping is warranted.

인터넷 게임동기 유형에 따른 대학적응과 인터넷 게임중독 (College Adaptation and Internet Game Addiction by Internet Game Motivation Types)

  • This study examined internet game addiction and college adaptation(academic, social, personal-emotional, institutional attachment) by Internet game motivation types. The 475 subjects (235 male and 240 female college students) responded to the newly developed self-report measure, Internet Game Motivation Scale (IGMS). Cluster analyses of IGMS data identified 5 types of Internet game motivation: Active I, Active II, Moderate I, Moderate II, Passive. Active (I, II) types had the highest scores in Internet game addiction while the Passive type yielded the lowest. Except for academic adaptation, all aspects of college adaptation varied as a function of Internet game motivation types. Overall, Moderate II showed highest whereas Active I showed lowest academic adaptation scores.

  • Objectives: This study intended to investigate the effect of Nunchi, self-leadership, and academic self-efficacy on adaptation to college life among dental hygiene college students in a three-year program. By extension, the study seeks to find positive ways necessary for students to adapt to college life. Methods: A survey was conducted from Aug 1 to Sep 30, 2019 on 182 dental hygiene college students who agreed to participate in the survey. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0. An independent t-test, a one-way ANOVA, Scheffe's post-hoc test, and Pearson's correlation coefficients were employed, and a multiple regression analysis was conducted. Results: Findings showed that the students' average score on adaptation to college life was 3.34. Factors having a significant effect on adaptation to college life came out in this order: grade_dummy2(2/3), academic self-efficacy and grade_dummy1(1/2). Explanations skills accounted for 28.0%. Conclusions: The results highlight a need for programs dedicated to improving dental hygiene college students' adaptation to college life should be developed and implemented.

치위생과 학생들의 대인관계성향 및 대학생활 스트레스가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 (Factors Interpersonal Relation Disposition and College Life Stress on College Life Adjustment of the Dental Hygiene Students)

  • Objectives: The purpose is to prepare measures to effectively improve college life adaptation by identifying relevance between interpersonal relation disposition and college life adaptation, college life stress and college life adaptation for dental hygiene students. Methods: 375 dental hygiene students attending some local universities in Gyeonggi-do were sampled for convenience. The results of this study are as follows. Results: First, As a result of interpersonal relation disposition according to general characteristics, superiority-dominance tendencies were higher in first and third graders, in groups with grades above 4.0 and groups with lower subjective economic levels. And the stress of college life was high for second graders and students with lower grades than 2.0. Second, According to the correlation between factors, governance-dominance, independence-responsibility, sympathy-acceptance, sociable-friendliness, and ostentation-intoxication of interpersonal tendency factors had proportional relationship with college life adaptation, rebellion-distrust and college life stress had inverse relationship. Third, The results of multiple regression analyses to identify factors that affect college students' adaptation to college life were in the order of stress in college life, first grade, sociable-friendliness, second grade, rebellion-distrust. Conclusion: In order to improve college life adaptation, counseling and practical mediation programs should be developed and applied to effectively manage and control the negativity and positivity implied by interpersonal relationships and college life stress.

간호대학생의 집단따돌림 피해 경험, 자아탄력성 및 지각된 스트레스와 대학생활 적응과의 관계 (Relationships among Bullying, Ego-Resilience, Perceived Stress, and College Adaptation in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 집단따돌림 피해 경험, 자아탄력성, 지각된 스트레스 및 대학생활적응 간의 관계를 분석하기 위해 시도된 서술적 조사연구이다. 4년제 일개 간호대학의 전 학년 212명을 대상으로 하였으며, 자료는 집단따돌림 피해 경험, 자아탄력성 및 지각된 스트레스 그리고 대학생활 적응을 구조화된 설문지를 이용하였다. 수집된 자료는 PASW 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석되었다. 연구결과 간호대학생활 적응은 집단따돌림 피해 경험(r=-.261, p<.001)과 지각된 스트레스(r=-.340, p<.001)에서 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있었으며, 자아탄력성(r=.337, p<.001)과는 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타냈다. 간호대학의 적응에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학년(${\beta}$=-.216, p=.003), 전공만족도(${\beta}$=-.245, p<.001), 성적(${\beta}$=.210, p=.028) 그리고 자아탄력성(${\beta}$=.236, p=.001) 이었으며 29.1%의 설명력을 나타냈다. 따라서 간호대학생의 적응을 향상시킬 수 있는 다각적이고 융합적인 노력이 필요하며 시대에 맞는 대학적응 프로그램을 강화, 개발하고 그 효과를 검증할 것을 제언한다.

대학 신입생의 지각된 스트레스, 우울이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Perceived Stress and Depression on Adaptation to College life of College Freshmen)

  • 본 연구는 대학 신입생을 대상으로 대학생활적응 정도와 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하여 대학생활적응을 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 시도되었다. 연구참여자는 B시의 대학 신입생 2088명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 실수, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, 피어슨 상관계수, 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 대상자의 대학생활적응은 3.75±0.73점이었고, 일반적 특성에 따른 대학생활적응의 차이를 분석한 결과 성별(t=3.947, p<.001), 연령(F=3.445, p=.032), 전공(F=5.539, p=.001), 가족형태(F=6.958, p<.001)에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 연구대상자의 대학생활적응은 지각된 스트레스(r=-.696, p<.001), 우울(r=-.507, p<.001)과는 부적상관관계, 지각된 스트레스와 우울(r=.567, p<.001)은 정적상관관계를 나타냈다. 대상자의 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 요인은 지각된 스트레스, 우울, 연령, 전공, 가족형태로 나타났고, 설명력은 50.4%로 확인되었다. 따라서 대학 신입생의 대학생활적응을 향상시키기 위해서는 대학생활적응 능력을 함양하는 다양한 프로그램을 개발하여 적용하는 것이 필요하다.

간호·보건계열 대학생의 성격유형, 자아탄력성 및 대학생활적응 (Personal types, Ego-resilience, and College Adaptation in Nursing and Health Care related Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호 보건계열 1, 2학년 대학생 623명을 대상으로 성격유형과 자아탄력성 정도를 알아보고, 대학생활적응 정도에 미치는 영향 요인을 알아보기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료수집은 2014년 10월 7일부터 10월 23일까지 진행하였고 수집된 자료는 SPSS 19.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's 검증, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, 다중회귀분석을 통하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 에니어그램 성격유형에 따른 자아탄력성과 대학생활적응 정도는 통계적으로 의미가 있었으며 4유형과 5유형에서 자아탄력성과 대학생활적응 정도 모두 가장 낮았다. 대학생활적응 정도와 자아탄력성과는 순상관관계가 있었으며, 대학생활적응 정도에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 요인은 낙관적 태도였으며 그 외 영향요인은 자신감, 감정조절, 성적이었고, 총 61.6%의 설명력을 보였다. 개인의 성격유형이 자아탄력성과 대학생활적응 정도에 영향을 주므로, 개인의 성격유형에 따른 긍정적태도와 자신감, 감정조절 등을 강화하여 건강한 측면의 성격이 유지되게 함으로써 자아탄력성을 높이고, 일정한 학교 성적을 유지할 수 있게 지도한다면 대학생의 대학생활적응력도 높아질 것이다.

간호대학생의 대학생활 적응 영향요인 (Factors Influencing the Adaptation to the College Life of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the degree of undergraduate nursing student adaptation to college life and investigate the factors that influenced that adaptation. Methods: First-year (undergraduate) students attending three nursing colleges were surveyed from November 24 through December 5, 2014; and data from 206 respondents were analyzed. For data analysis, multiple regression analysis was performed using the SPSS WIN 18.0 program. Results: The findings showed that age (p=.002), emotional intelligence (p<.001), and self-efficacy (p<.001) were significant variables that influenced first-year undergraduate nursing student adaptation to college life. Undergraduate nursing student adaptation was explained by self-efficacy (${\beta}=.327$, p<.001), emotional intelligence (${\beta}=.222$, p=.001), satisfaction with education in their academic major (${\beta}=-.217$, p<.001), and academic achievement (${\beta}=.136$, p=.018); and, the explanatory power of these variables was 41.2%. Conclusion: To facilitate undergraduate nursing student adaptation to college life prior to clinical practice, developing and apply programs to improve self-efficacy, emotional intelligence, satisfaction with education in their major, and academic achievement is deemed necessary.

남자간호대학생의 생활스트레스와 대학생활 적응간의 관계-그릿의 매개효과 (A Mediated Effect of Grit on Relationship between Life Stress and Adaptations to College Life among Male Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호남학생의 생활스트레스, 그릿, 대학생활적응 정도를 파악하고, 그릿의 매개효과가 생활스트레스와 대학생활적응의 관계에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 남자간호대학생의 대학생활 적응을 촉진하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구 대상자는 5개 도시의 간호학과 남자 간호대학생 209명으로 편의표집을 하였다. 수집된 데이터는 SPSS/WIN 25.0으로 분석하였다. 생활스트레스는 대학생활적응과 그릿에 유의한 부적 상관관계를 보였으나 그릿은 대학생활적응에 정적 상관관계로 나타났다. 매개효과 검증결과 최종모델은 대학생활적응의 43.5%를 설명하였다. 따라서 남자간호대학생의 대학생활적응을 향상시키기 위해서 생활 스트레스를 낮추고, 그릿과 대학생활 적응수준을 높일 수 있는 프로그램 개발이 요구된다.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to check the stress, stress and coping ability of nursing college students and to identify factors that influence college life adjustment. Method: This study was a descriptive research study to confirm the correlation between stress, stress response, coping ability, and college life adaptation of nursing college students, and to analyze the factors that influence college life adjustment. The data collection period was from August 17 to 23, 2020, for one week, the researcher directly explains the purpose and purpose of the study to 221 nursing college students nationwide, and online surveys to those who have agreed to participate in the study. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Win 20.0 program. Results: Adaptation to college was negatively correlated with stress (r=-.285, p<.001), stress response (r=-.258, p<.001), and coping ability (r=.512, p<.001) had a positive correlation. The most significant factor influencing the study subjects' adaptation to college life was coping ability (β=.473, p<.001), followed by stress (β=-.185, p=.002) in the order of The explanatory power of the factors affecting the subject's adaptation to college life was 28.9%. Conclusion: As a result of this study, it means that nursing students' adaptation to college life has less stress and stress response, and higher coping ability increases college life adaptation. The factor that influenced the adjustment to college life was the most significant factor, followed by stress. In order for nursing students to adjust to college life smoothly, it is thought that coping measures to reduce stress and stress responses and overcome them are necessary.
