본 논문에서는 IEEE802.11b와 IEEE802.11g에서 제안한 CCK 변조방식의 변조기와 복조기를 구성하고, 차량간 통신환경과 같이 지연확산이 큰 경우에 대한 CCK Rake 수신기 구조를 제안하고 있다. 다경로 Rayleigh 페이딩 채널에서 각 경로의 채널추정은 패킷 프리앰블을 이용하여 추정하였고 코히런트 방식의 CCK Rake 수신기에서 다경로 신호들의 결합은 심벌레벨 결합 형태로 구성하였다. 본 논문의 성능분석 결과는 텔레매틱스 통신의 차량간 통신환경에서 CCK 모뎀의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 차량속도가 300km/h인 다경로 페이딩 채널에서 CCK 모뎀의 성능결과를 제시하고 있다.

We measured the sizes of microstructures and the reflectance of blue feathers in the Common Kingfisher (Alcedo atthis). The colors were mainly produced in the barbs, which were composed of keratin sponge layers with air spaces and melanin rods. The reflectance spectra of back and tail feathers of the Common Kingfisher showed a peak with a broad plateau in the visible wavelength, whereas those of the wing feathers showed peaks in ultraviolet and visible and short-wavelengths. Moreover, the reflectance of back and tail feathers was higher than that of wing feathers. The blue color of the feathers comes from the keratin sponge layer due to coherent scattering. The back and tail feathers are composed of the keratin sponge layer only, and the wing feathers are composed of the keratin sponge layer and the keratin honeycomb structure. Due to the difference in these structures, it supposed that the reflectance is different. Determining why the reflectance spectra of the back and tail feathers were flattened will require further study.

Exploring the vicinity of super-massive black holes (SMBHs) is one of the frontiers in astrophysics. KaVA AGN Science WG has launched its Large Program in 2014 focusing on two SMBHs, Sgr A∗ and M87. They are selected based on their large apparent size. Sgr A∗ is the excellent laboratory for studying gas accretion process onto SMBH and M87 is well known as the best case for investigating plasma outflow ultimately driven by SMBH. For Sgr A∗, KaVA and EAVN provides superb UV-coverage on its emitting region and its scattering medium. In the case of M87, we have conducted high cadence dual-frequency (22and 43GHz )VLBI monitoring to clarify the global profile of the M87 jet velocity field and the spectral index map, which should reflect global structure of magnetic fields in the jet. From 2017, the AGN LP is recognized as multi-wavelength EHT project, conducting quasi-simultaneous coherent observations of M87 and Sgr A∗ with the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) during its campaign observation periods. AGN WG is reviewing and revising its LP to convert it to EAVN LP. We will briefly report our scientific results and future plan which includes even broader international collaboration, namely East-Asia to Italy Nearly Global (EATING) VLBI to reach higher angular resolution.

In Written on the Body, by creating the narrator's ungendered and unsexed identity, Winterson makes her text open to the reader's assumption of the narrator's sexual and gender identity. Thus, this novel has been read, on the one hand, as a lesbian text by those who assume that the narrator is a female and, on the other hand, as a suspicious text colluding with patriarchal and heterosexual values by those who define the narrator as a male. Those readings of the narrator as one of either sex/gender, however, demonstrate how (academic as well as general) readers have been accustomed to the gender-based reading habits in which textual meanings are dichotomously arranged along the lines of sex and gender of characters. Challenging those dualistic "gendered" readings, this paper reads Winterson's Written on the Body as a queer text which interrogates, troubles, and subverts the heterosexual concepts of narrative, desire, and body without reducing the narrator's identity to the essentialist sex and gender system. More specifically, this paper examines how the narrator's 'un-/over-' determined sexual and gender identity queers the narrative structure of author-character-reader; how the narrator's queer (fluid) desire is passing and traveling across categorical contours of (homo-/hetero-) sexual desires; how Winterson challenges the concept of a coherent body and queers the concept of body as a hermeneutic text with myriad textual grids which are not coherently mapped by power but randomly inscribed by nomadic desires.

A little more than a decade ago, the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) started on a journey of revitalization through adopting the concept of systems research. Instead of being just a rice breeding and affiliated sciences research center, it expanded its vision of impact on the rice-based food systems. In almost the same vein the OneCGIAR has also attempted to aggregate the commodity-based research into food systems-based research that critically caters to specific overarching 'Impact and Action Areas'. Incidentally, IRRI's structure and operations map on to these Impact and Action areas very well. Hence, IRRI's research directly caters to societal, economic and environmental sustainability. It does so through a coherent pipeline that spans the upstream discovery component all the way to product delivery, dissemination, and impact assessment. While a circular 5D-pipeline of demand, discovery, development, deployment and distinction attend to the ground-level realities of demand, development and acceptance of a product, the Four Flagships attend to proximal deliverables under challenging conditions of change brought about by the CGIAR restructuring and COVID-19. Prioritizing specific products under the flagships ensures that institutional support is available to fast-track the deliverables. Clear examples now highlight the potential of such approaches. Thus, despite the challenges of climate change, political unrest of war and global medical encumbrances, the stable partners of IRRI like Korea have helped to come close to deliverables.

원활한 수중 디지털 통신을 위해 데이터 신호는 물리계층 단위의 프레임으로 전송되고, 채널 추정을 위한 프레임 내의 파일릿 간격은 수중 통신 환경에 맞게 설계되어야 한다. 본 논문은 주파수와 시간에 따른 수중 채널 변화에 관련된 상관 대역폭과 상관 시간에 대하여 기술하고 실제 동해 천해환경에서의 실험을 통해 상관 대역폭과 상관 시간 값들을 산출하였다. 그리고 파일럿 간격의 변화에 따른 실제 수중 통신의 비트 오류율 변화를 구함으로써 산출한 결과가 적절함을 보였다.

Caports is a fusion style which consists of mix and match and various T.P.Os. The expressive features of Caports style have been strengthened by the combination of functional and decorative design. This study aims to divide the images into categories and to study the decorative features of each category. It is classified into five groups according to its images, Healthy & Sexy, Athletic, Romantic, Girlish, Vintage. The following study has assorted the pictures of Caports style into categories and presents decorative design features in each category. Analyzed materials have been collected from fashion magazines, catalogs, and fashion related Internet sites from 2002 to 2006. The dominant feature of caports was sensitive fashionableness as a day wear based on sportswear. This feature was determined by every factor such as materials, structure and details. In other words, the usage of jersey that could give functionalities and elasticity, structure that exhibit one's silhouette and the decorative designs of functional details make it possible to have this kind of peculiar style. Decorative designs shown in sports wear, casual wear and women's wear were all applied in Caports style. They showed a moderate and coherent style rather than one that was richly ornate or magnificent. So, in the mesa trend of "sportism", Caports style could easily fit into the 21st century's consumers' demands for fusion. And this study of decorating methods of each category of Caports style may provide useful data to help develop the products that consumers demand.

선진 외국인 투자기업 유치를 통해 수출진흥, 고용증대, 기술향상의 추구와 지역사회개발촉진을 위해 설치된 익산자유무역지대는 1980년대 중반 이후 외국인 투자업체, 수출, 고용이 감소되면서 그 기능은 크게 약화되어 수출자유지대로서의 존재가치가 무의미한 실정이다 익산자유무역지대의 기능의 약화 요인은 적지선정에 있어 수출자유지대의 기능 활성화를 위해 필요한 입지요인과 지역이 지니고 있는 입지여건을 고려하지 않고 선정됨으로서 설립초기부터 입지상의 문제가 내재되어 있었다. 또한 현재의 노동집약적인 지역산업구조는 저임금에 기초한 노동집약적 업체의 집적지라는 부정적인 인식으로 작용하여 기술집약적인 첨단산업으로의 자유무역지대의 산업구조 개편에 어려움을 주고 있다. 그리고 정책의 일관성 부족으로 인한 협소한 부지면적과 부족한 확장공간은 기업의 집적효과와 규모의 경제를 약화시켰으며, 열악한 입지여건을 개선시키고 지역의 동태적 비교우위를 창출하려는 정부의 정책과 의지부족은 외국인 투자기업의 투자 유인력을 약화시키고 있다.

A visualization study on the effect of forcing amplitude in tone-excited jet diffusion flames has been conducted. Visualization techniques are employed using optical schemes. which are a light scattering photography. Flame stability curve is attained according to Reynolds number and forcing amplitude at a fuel tube resonant frequency. Flame behavior is globally grouped into two from attached flame to blown-out flame according to forcing amplitude: one sticks the tradition flame behavior which has been observed in general jet diffusion flames and the other shows a variety of flame modes such as the flame of a feeble forcing amplitude where traditionally well-organized vortex motion evolves, a fat flame. an elongated flame. and an in-burning flame. Particular attention is focused on an elongation flame. which is associated with a turnabout phenomenon of vortex motion and on a reversal of the direction of vortex roll-up. It is found that the flame length with forcing amplitude is the direct outcome of the evolution process of the formed inner flow structure. Especially the negative part of the acoustic cycle under the influence of a strong negative pressure gradient causes the shapes of the fuel stem and fuel branch part and even the direction of vortex roll-up to dramatically change.

본 연구에서는 하계 한국 남동해 간절곶 주변해역의 냉수대 구조와 변동을 CTD 관측과 수층별 수온 장기 연속 모니터링 자료를 이용하여 분석하였다. 냉수대의 표층수온은 냉수기 이전과 $-12^{\circ}C$의 차이를 보였으며 해저지형 효과로 간절곶에서 냉수대 세력이 가장 컸다. 남북해역 간 등온선의 시계열분포에 간절곶을 경계로 공간변화가 발생해 간절곶 주변 해저지형이 언덕(hill)역할을 하고 있음이 추정되었다. 냉수대는 해안에 평행한 풍속이 양(+)의 값일 때 출현하는 연안용승반응을 나타냈고, 수온의 감소와 상승은 풍향이 바뀐 후 하루 이내에 반응하였다. 간절곶 주변은 얕은 수심 주위에서 발생하는 와류효과가 결합하여 바람에 의한 용승효과가 강화되었다. 수온변화는 2~6일 주기의 바람변동에 민감하였으며, 수온감소는 12~36시간의 위상차를 나타냈다. 냉수대가 출현한 7월은 2~3일 주기, 8월은 3~8일 주기에서 바람-수온변화의 상관성이 컸다.
