Chromaticity(b*), Sheet Resistance and Transmittance of SiO2-ITO Thin Films Deposited on PET Film by Using Roll-to-Roll Sputter System (롤투롤시스템을 이용하여 PET 필름위에 제조된 SiO2-ITO 박막의 색도(b*), 면저항과 투과도 연구)

  • This paper has relatively high technical standard and experimental skill. The fabrication of TCO film with high transparency, low resistance and low chromaticity require exact control of several competing factors. This paper has resolved these problems reasonably well, thus recommended for publication. Indium tin oxide(ITO) thin films were by D.C. magnetron roll-to-roll sputter system utilizing ITO and $SiO_2$ targets of ITO and $SiO_2$. In this experiment, the effect of D.C. power, winding speed, and oxygen flow rate on electrical and optical properties of ITO thin films were investigated from the view point of sheet resistance, transmittance, and chromaticity($b^*$). The deposition of $SiO_2$ was performed with RF power of 400W, Ar gas of 50 sccm and the deposition of ITO, DC power of 600W, Ar gas of 50 sccm, $O^2$ gas of 0.2 sccm, and winding speed of 0.56m/min. High quality ITO thin films without $SiO_2$ layer had chromaticity of 2.87, sheet resistivity of 400 ohm/square, and transmittance of 88% and $SiO_2$-doped ITO Thin film with chromaticity of 2.01, sheet resistivity of 709 ohm/square, and transmittance of more than 90% were obtained. As a result, $SiO_2$ was coated on PET before deposition of ITO, their chromaticity($b^*$) and transmittance were better than previous results of ITO films. These results show that coating of $SiO_2$ induced arising chromaticity($b^*$) and transmittance. If the thickness of $SiO_2$ is controlled, sheet resistance value of ITO film will be expected to be better for touch screen. A four point probe and spectrophotometer are used to investigate the properties of ITO thin films.

  • 최근, 새로운 전자재료로서 GaN 분말의 합성과 응용에 관한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. CaN 분말은 열처리 과정 중 분해를 방지하기 위한 표면 보호용 소재, CaN 박막 또는 벌크 결정을 성장하기 위한 precursor 및 대면적 평판표시소자 제작을 위한 전기발광소자용 소재 등에 적용되고 있다. 일반적으로 100$0^{\circ}C$ 이상의 온도에서Ga과 NH$_3$를 반응시키거나, Ga이 포함된 화합물반도체 또는 산화물 및 질산염 등을 NH$_3$ 분위기에서 가열시켜 GaN 분말을 합성시키고 있다. 본 논문에서는 출발물질로서 GaOOH를 채택하고, 이를 NH$_3$ 가스를 흘리면서 가열 반응시켜 GaN 분말을 합성하고 X선 회절분석 방법을 사용하여 GaN의 합성에 대한 반응기구를 조사하였다. GaN 분말을 합성하기 위하여 GaOOH 분말 1g을 석영 용기에 담아 석영 반응관 내에 위치시키고, 반응관 내부를 $10^{-3}$ torr의 진공으로 배기한 후 $N_2$를 주입하면서 전기로의 온도를 1$0^{\circ}C$/min으로 승온시켰다. 반응온도는 300~l17$0^{\circ}C$의 범위에서 변화시켰고, 반응시간은 10분부터 24시간까지 변화시켰으며, NH$_3$의 유량은 300~700 sccm의 범위에서 변화시켰다. GaN의 반응역학을 조사하기 위하여 X선 회절도에서 특정 성분의 회절강도는 시료 내에 포함된 특정 성분의 량에 직접 비례한다고 가정하고, 2$\theta$=37$^{\circ}$부근에서 관찰되는 GaN의 (101)면에 의한 회절강도를 측정하고, 이를 GaN의 생성량으로 고려하였다.}C$로 소결 하였다. coating 결과 박리현상은 없었으나, 표면과 단면의 SEM분석결과 다소 porous한 박막층이 형성되었으며, Ca이온이 지지체로 permeation되는 현상이 발생하였다. 이와 같은 결과로부터 보다 치밀한 박막생성을 위해, slurry 제조조건을 변화시켰으며, Ca이온의 migration을 막기 위해 barrier layer를 이용하였다 완전 소결된 지지체는 가스투과도와 전기전도도측정을 통하여 특성을 평가하였다.였다.다.m이하의 NH$_3$ 가스를 검출할 수 있었다.기 화강암 관입 이전에 좌수향 전단 운동에 의해 부분적으로 재활성 되었으며, 후기 화강암의 관입 이후에 재차 우수향 전단운동으로 활성화 되었음을 알 수 있다. 이상의 결과를 종합하면 호남전단대는 쥬라기 중기에 발생한 광역적인 우수향의 연성전단운동이나, 운동 특성은 연속적이기 보다는 단속적으로 일어난 것으로 생각된다.리 폐 관류는 정맥주입 방법에 비해 고농도의 cisplatin 투여로 인한 다른 장기에서의 농도 증가 없이 폐 조직에 약 50배 정도의 고농도 cisplatin을 투여할 수 있었으며, 또한 분리 폐 관류 시 cisplatin에 의한 직접적 폐 독성은 발견되지 않았다이 낮았으나 통계학적 의의는 없었다[10.0%(4/40) : 8.2%(20/244), p>0.05]. 결론: 비디오흉강경술에서 재발을 낮추기 위해 수술시 폐야 전체를 관찰하여 존재하는 폐기포를 놓치지 않는 것이 중요하며, 폐기포를 확인하지 못한 경우와 이차성 자연기흉에 대해서는 흉막유착술에 더 세심한 주의가 필요하다는 것을 확인하였다. 비디오흉강경수술은 통증이 적고, 입원기간이 짧고, 사회로의 복귀가 빠르며, 고위험군에 적용할 수 있고, 무엇보다도 미용상의 이점이 크다는 면에서 자연기흉에 대해 유용한 치료방법임에는 틀림이 없으나 개흉술에 비

Filtration Characteristics of Paticulate Matter at Bag Filters Coated with PTFE Membrane During Off-Line Pulsing (PTFE membrane이 코팅된 여과백의 off-line 탈진시 미세먼지 집진 특성)

  • Particulate matter becomes an important issue in the environmental society recently so that it is necessary to evaluate that the commercial application of baghouse systems for effective control of fine particulates is viable. A laboratory-scale baghouse experimental apparatus with filter bags made of PTFE felt or PTFE felt coated with PTFE membrane is used to investigate the filtration performances of fine particulates. Experiments by changing filtration velocity, inlet dust concentration, and average dust particle size show that the dust collection efficiency becomes higher at lower filtration velocity, higher inlet dust concentration and larger average dust particle size. The total pressure drop through the filter media and dust layer becomes higher at higher filtration velocity and higher inlet dust concentration. The dust collection efficiency is higher and the pressure drop is lower at a baghouse with filter bags coated with PTFE membrane than that without membrane coating. From the result that the dust collection efficiency of $PM_{2.5}$ in a reasonable filtration velocity range during off-line pulsing at a baghouse with PTFE felt bag filters coated with PTFE membrane is as high as 99.99%, it is confirmed that the use of baghouse is an effective measure to control the fine particulates.

  • Prismatic reflective sheets were prepared using microprisms, and their retroreflection and structural properties were investigated and compared with encapsulated lens type reflective sheets based on glass beads. As prepared, the prismatic reflective sheets show well arranged array of microprisms. The arrangement of glass beads in encapsulated lens type reflective sheets is also found to be uniform without any cracks. However, during the coating process of the PET layer, the beads are coming out and the gaps are formed due to the application of high pressure. Even though the preparation method for reflective sheets based on microprisms is similar to that of reflective sheets based on glass beads, the method is relatively simple and cost effective, and also needs less time. Prismatic reflective sheets show higher coefficient of retroreflection from all entrance angles compared to reflective sheets based on glass beads. The results prove that the prismatic reflective sheets can be used for preparing the traffic sign boards to secure a clear view.

  • Asphalt concrete pavement can be widely seen on urban streets, highways, parking lots, and bike trails. Asphalt concrete pavement is relatively temperature sensitive materials due to the viscoelastic behavior, which can be defined as flexible performance in summer and rigid performance in winter. In terms of maintenance, it can be fixed quite easily if damaged. In addition, asphalt concrete pavement is generally found to be black and grey in color. However, several colors can be adopted to change the appearance of plain old boring, black and grey. Generally, there are two types of color systems in hot mix asphalt concrete materials. One system uses colored cementitious material that is applied to pavement surface through coating the surface of the asphalt pavement. The major disadvantage to this system requires a careful skill set to be used on the construction site in order to prevent taking off the cementitious material. The other coloring system colors the asphalt hot mixtures through using color additives. The main advantage to this system is that the asphalt pavement layer is colored using the same techniques that are already used in paving. The disadvantage is that the colors are limited to mainly reds and browns. In this study, a suggested color additive was evaluated, based on rutting, moisture sensitivity, and fatigue cracking performance.

Preparation of Asymmetric Folyethersulfone Hollow Fiber Membranes for Flue Gas Separation (온실기체 분리용 폴리이서설폰 비대칭 중공사 막의 제조)

  • It is well-known that polyethersulfone (PES) has high $CO_2$ selectivity over $N_2\;(or\;CH_4)$ and excellent pressure resistance of $CO_2$ plasticization among muy commercialized engineering plastics[1-4]. Asymmetric PES hollow fiber membranes for flue gas separation were developed by dry-wet spinning technique. The dope solution consists of PES, NMP and acetone. Water and water/NMP mixtures are used in outer and inner coagulants, respectively. Gas permeation rate (i.e., permeance) and $CO_2/N_2$ selectivity were measured with pure gas, respectively and the micro-structure of hollow fiber membranes was characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The effects of polymer concentration, ratio of NMP to acetone, length of air gap, evaporation condition and silicone coating were investigated on the $CO_2/N_2$ separation properties of the hollow fibers. Optimized PES hollow fiber membranes exhibited high permeance of $25\~50$ GPU and $CO_2/N_2$ selectivity of $30\~40$ at room temperature and have the apparent skin layer thickness of about $0.1\;{\mu}m$. The developed PES hollow fiber membranes, would be a good candidate suitable for the flue gas separation process.

  • As a preliminary study for esterification membrane reactor used to produce 2,2,2-trifluoroethylmetacrylate (TFEMA), Pervaporation behaviors with crosslinked Poly(vinyl alcohol) composite membranes were investigated for aqueous TFEA (2,2,2-trifluoroethanol) feed solutions. In this study, crosslinked PVA composite membranes were prepared by reacting PVA with glutaraldehyde (CA)/acid catalyst onto porous polyethersulfone (PES) supports. SEH images (scanning electron microscopy) showed the thicknesses of selective coating layer was about 2-3 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. The swelling tests showed the dogree of crosslinking decreased as content of the crosslinking agent, GA, increased. Total permeation flux decreased while separation factor increased as the CA content increased. As operating temperature increased, total permeation flux remarkably increased in the range of 85-95 wt% TFEA aqueous solutions. Interestingly, however, separation factor decreased in 85-90 wt% with operating temperature, while that increased in 95 wt%. In case of 90 wt% TFEA concentration and operating temperature 8$0^{\circ}C$, the PVA composite membrane crosslinked with 0.1 mol GA per PVA repeating unit showed high permeation flux of 1.5 kg/$m^2$hr and separation factor of 320. These results confirmed the applicability of the PVA composite membranes for the esterification membrane reactor of TFEMA.

$H_{2}S$ Removal and $CO_{2}/CH_{4}$ Separation of Ternary Mixtures Using Polyimide Hollow Fiber Membrane (폴리이미드 중공사막을 이용한 혼합기체로부터 $H_{2}S$ 제거 및 $CO_{2}/CH_{4}$ 분리에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, by using the polymeric membrane separation process, the $CO_{2}/CH_{4}$ separation and $H_{2}S$ removal from biogas were performed in order to $CH_{4}$ purification and enrichment for the fuel cell energy source application. Fibers were spun by dry/wet phase inversion method. The module was manufactured by fabricating fibers after surface coating with silicone elastomer. The scanning electron microscopy(SEM) studies showed that the produced fibers typically had an asymmetric structure; a dense top layer supported by a porous, sponge substructure. The permeance of $CO_{2}$ and $CO_{2}/CH_{4}$ selectivity increased with pressure and temperature. Mixture gas with increasing pressure and temperature, removal efficiency of the $CO_{2}$ and $H_{2}S$ were decreased while concentration of $CH_{4}$ was increased up to 100%. When retentate flow rate was increased with the decreasing of pressure and temperature the $CH_{4}$ recovery ratio in retentate side was increased while the $CH_{4}$ purity in retentate side was decreased.

  • Even though high performance concrete was developed according to the trend of bigger and higher of reinforced concrete building, the rheological evaluations such as viscosity, yield stress are not enough to use as input data to accomplish the numerical analysis for the construction design. So there are many problems in the harden concrete such as poor compaction, rock pocket and crack, etc. in the field. In this study, consistency curves were measured by the viscometer as hydration reaction time passed. At the same time the slump flow test and Vicat setting test were carried out for comparing with the results of rheological properties. The fluidity of the W/B 30% decreased as the increase of replacement ratio of blast furnace slag. But in case of W/B 40%, the replacement ration did not significantly influenced to the slump flow value with the passage of hydration time. By the replacement of blast furnace slag to cement, initial setting was delayed and the time gap between initial and final setting became shorten. Through the regression analysis using Bingham model, there are a sudden changes of viscosity and yield stress around initial setting in case of low W/B 30%. The increase of workability by the change of free water in cement paste was offset by the coating effect of impermeable layer in case of W/B 40%.

Comparison of the Proliferation pattern of Cultured Rat Calvaria Cell on the Resorbable Barrier Membrane (흡수성 차폐막에 배양된 구개관세포의 증식양상의 비교)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the phenomenon of attachment and spreading of the cultured rat calvarial cell inoculated on their surface of different kinds of biodegradable membrane which had been used on tissue regeneration on periodontal defects by using scanning electron microscope. In this experiment 30 Sprague-Dawley male rats (mean BW 150gm) were used to harvest abundant number of cell in the short period. The rats were sacrificed by decapitatioan to obtain the calvaria for bone cell culture. Calvarial cells were cultured with Dulbecco's Modified Essential Medium contained with 10% Fetal Bovine Serum under the conventional conditions. Biodegradable barrier membrane were collected with collagen type, and were divided into 3 different kind of surface such as scattered, polarized and fine-net type as their surface texture. Microcover plate which usually used for cell culture was used as control for smooth surface. All the membrane were seeded with cultured calvarial cell on their surface. The number of cell inoculated on the membrane were $1{\times}10^6$ Cells/ml. After the culture as designed time, all the membrane were washed with 0.1 M Phosphate Buffered saline and fuxed with 2.5% Glutaraldehyde. And all specimen were treated with $OsO_4$, and Tannic acid before drying the cell for coating the cell with gold. Scanning Electron Microscope was used to observation. The following results were obtained. I. During the whole period of experiment, the phenomenon of cell attachment and spreading were revealed similar pattern to compare with smooth surface culture plate and ordinary culture dish. 2. The shape of cell attachment and spreading on the surface of barrier membrane were observed no remarked difference pattern between smooth surface culture plate and ordinary culture dish. 3. The cytoplasmic process of cultured calvaria cell extent to the deep portion of barrier membrane like as their own proper shape. 4. There were no remarkable relationships between the degree of cultured cell spreading and surface structure of barrier membrane. 5. Slight starified layer of cultured calvaria cell were observed on the scattered type of resorbable membrane, Conclusively, this study thus suggest that cultured bone cell inoculated onto the biodegradable barrier membrane may have an important role of carrier for many cell which could be used as new tissue regeneration, and those tissue engeering technique may become an new method in the approach to the repair of bone defects.
