  • The removal and redeposition of particulate soil occur simultaneously during the washing process. In order to investigate variables which affect on the redeposition of particulate soil, cotton lawn was soiled in the ion oxide black suspension using Launder-O meter. The amount of deposited soil was estimated by means of the spectrometric analysis of iron on the fabric after soiled. The results are as follows: 1. The presence of surfactants b suspension decreased the deposition of particulate soil and the most effective surfactant was soap and the descending order was NaDBS>CTAB>PONPE. 2. The influnce of temperature on soil deposition was considerable, soil deposition was gradually increased with elevating temperature in ionic surfactants solution such as NaDBS and CTAB but that was decreased above $40^{\circ}C$ in nonionic surfactant solution. 3. The tendency of soil deposition was dwindled by adding electrolytes especially in case of polyvalent anions. 4. From the results of the experiments redeposition of particulate soil was related with suspending power of surfactants and was influenced by factors varing zeta potential.

The questionnaire was administrated to 124 male, 96 female in-line skaters aged over 20 living in Daegu. Data were analyzed by using Frequency, Factor analysis, One-way analysis of variance, Duncan test, T-test, Correlation analysis. The results of this study can be summarized as follows ; The factor of in-line skate clothing interest of in-line skater were classified into 5 factor, expression orientation, performance enhancement, information dependence, anti deviation, individual assertion. The in-line skate clothing interest, men have interests in performance enhancement, women have interest in individual assertion. The more experience of in-line skate they have. the more interest in performance enhancement they want. High involvement in-line skater have high cloth interesting of sub-factors which are expression orientation, performance enhancement and individual assertion etc. As a result, we need more deliberate marketing strategies for the experience degree, involvement degree and women in-line skater then men.

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic information on the propriety of the ready to wear garment sizes of Tween Generation(ages from 5th grade to 8th grade) who has different clothing preferences in color, styles, and design and also different body sizes and shapes from younger and older students. The objectives of the study were to ascertain (a) the body figure changes occurring during Tween Generation; (b) the coverage of manufactures'garment sizes. The body measurements of elementary school students(5th & 6th grades) and junior high school students(7th & 8th grades) provide the basic statistics for this study. The mean differences of each size within each figure type are compared by using t-teats. The differences in various manufacturers'apparel sizing and figure size are investigated. Also the body measurements and the apparel sizes of the manufacturers are compared in order to evaluate the suitability of the garment size. Results indicate that the body type factors are different in each age group. And manufactures'sizes come out to be much smaller than the actual body measurements. Young casual wear can cover junior high school students satisfactorily but for elementary school students, because of low drop-value, the overall satisfaction with filling is low.

College students in the Seoul district participated in the study, a convenience sampling method was used. A questionnaires was arranged with three separates subject sections, importance degree of knitwears quality, satisfaction degree of purchased knitwears, and demographic factors. Data from 280 questionnaires were used for the statistical analysis. For data analysis, factor analysis, paired-samples t-test and multiple response frequency were conducted. The results were as follows. Knitwears quality factors were classified into six subdivisions by factor analysis; physical functions, yarn and fabric properties, fit, symbol, aesthetic, and usefulness. Quality attributes in purchasing knitwears were considered importantly in order of design, textures, color, price, size, and shape stability, etc. Among quality attributes on knitwears, there were significant differences in importance degree and satisfaction degree; important degree was higher than satisfaction degree to six factors on knitwears quality. • The purpose of this study was to extract information of body form's classification on elderly women. We measured 242 subjects from 55 to 75 years of age, using 27 direct measurement items and 25 body indices. We analyzed these indices with factor analysis, cluster analysis We obtained these following results 1) Through factor analysis, 4 factors (obesity of torso, location of upper torso items, length of upper torso, location of lower torso items & shoulder length) were extracted from body indices. 2) Through culster analysis, we categorized 4 clusters. Namely, type 1, characterized the best slender type, type 2; characterized obesity type, type 3: characterized middle sized type ; type 4: characterized by fat type less than type 2. We considered that type 3 is the typical type on elderly women. Since analysis using indices is very profitable, it may be necessary to design dummies and patterns for clothing manufacture.

  • This study estimated a structural model for examining causal relationships among flagship store experiences, store emotion and loyalty, and to compare the structural models between luxury and fast fashion SPA brands. A total of 416 responses were collected from consumers who had experience with a variety of luxury and SPA flagship stores. Findings confirmed that flagship store experience consisted of four factors, such as sensory, affective, intellectual and behavioral experiences. Sensory and behavioral experiences had positive effects on store emotion that influenced loyalty. Affective and cognitive experiences influenced loyalty. All aspects of experiences explained store emotion or loyalty for luxury flagship stores; however, two of experiences (i.e., sensory and affective) were important to determine store emotion or loyalty for SPA flagship stores. The study discussed managerial implications for fashion brands to develop and manage flagship stores.
