Objective: This study analyzed the compliance situation of class rules for 3-year olds in the Wisdom class at Sarang kindergarten. Methods: Research participants were composed of 17 young children and two teachers in the wisdom class for 3-year-olds and data collection and analysis were conducted by participant observation using the qualitative method. Results: Research results were as follows. The compliance situation of class rules included compliance, violation, and among compliance and violation. First, compliance was divided into compliance with assistance and self compliance. Compliance with assistance is for young children to follow the rules under the guidance, help, and instructions of teachers. Self compliance is for children to understand and follow the rules themselves. Second, Between compliance and violation is conflict of the rules created by different standards of class rules. Third, depending on who found the violation, violation was classified into teacher discovery, peer discovery, and acquiescence. The teacher discovery led to teacher guidance and teacher acquiescence, The peer discovery led to peer notification, peer resistance, peer punishment, and peer acquiescence. Conclusion/Implications: By looking at the compliance situation of class rules for three-year-olds, the educational implications of how to guide class rules were obtained for children.
In this article, the author have studied on main revisions and some recommendations of the Incoterms(R) 2010. Main revisions are as belows. 1. Two new Incoterms rules -DAT and DAP- have replaced the Incoterms 2000 rules DAF, DES, DEQ and DDU. 2. New classification of the Incoterms(R) 2010 are adopted. First class is Rules for any mode or modes of transport(EXW, FCA, CPT, CIP, DAT, DAP and DDP belong to this class.) and second class is rules for sea and inland waterway transport(FAS, FOB, CFR and CIF belong to this class.). 3. Incoterms(R) 2010 rules formally recognizes that they are available for application to both international and domestic sale contracts. 4. The Guidance Notes and Introduction are not part of the actual Incoterms(R) 2010 rules. 5. Under the FOB, CFR and CIF, all mention of the ship's rail as the point of delivery has been omitted in preference for the goods being delivered when they are "on board" the vessel. 6. Incoterms(R) 2010 rules include the obligation to 'procure goods shipped' as an alternative to the obligation to ship goods in the relevant Incoterms rules. 7. Incoterms(R) 2010 rules give electronic means of communication the same effect as paper communication. 8. Incoterms(R) 2010 rules have allocated obligations between the buyer and seller to obtain or to render assistance in obtaining security-related clearances. such as chain-of custody information. Some recommendations are as belows. 1. The parties must incorporate the Incoterms(R) 2010 rules into their contract of sale. 2. The parties must choose the appropriate Incoterms(R) 2010 rules. 3. Specify the place or port as precisely as possible in their contract of sale. 4. Remember that Incoterms(R) 2010 rules do not give the parties a complete contract of sale. 5. Incoterms(R) 2010 rules do not prohibit alteration of Incoterms rule, but there are dangers in so doings. In order to avoid any unwelcome surprises, the parties would need to make the intended effect of such alterations extremely clear in their contract.
A hull form of Baltic ice class IA Aframax tanker has been developed taking into consideration of powering performance in brash ice channels based on IA class rules. Speed performance of the ship hull form in normal seagoing has been validated through model tests in a towing tank. The hull form design developed in this work has demonstrated good speed performance in normal seagoing although the ship design is entitled to ice class IA.
This research implemented grammatical rules for relationship extraction from class diagram candidate. The problem statement is generated by our algorithm to yield class diagram and candidate relationship candidates. The relationships of class diagrams are extracted automatically from the problem statement by using Natural Language Processing (NLP). The extraction used the grammatical rules that obtained from various sources and translated into our algorithm. The performance evaluation of the extraction algorithm used ATM problem statements. The application captures the problem statement and draws automatically the relations of class diagrams using Forced-Directionality Graph algorithm. The performance evaluations show refining methods for class diagram and relationships extraction improve recall score.
The objective of this study is to derive specific classification rules that could be used to prevent individuals with Metabolic Syndrome (MS) from developing diabetes. Specifically, we aim to identify rules which classify individuals with MS into those without diabetes (class 0) and those with diabetes (class 1). In this study we collected data from Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey and built a decision tree after data pre-processing. The decision tree brings about five useful rules and their average classification accuracy is quite high (75.8%). In addition, the decision tree showed that high blood pressure and waist circumference are the most influential factors on the classification of the two groups. Our research results will serve as good guidelines for clinicians to provide better treatment for patients with MS, such that they do not develop diabetes.
Consider the problem of estimating a $p{\times}1$ mean vector ${\theta}(p{\geq}4)$ under the quadratic loss, based on a sample $X_1,\;{\cdots}X_n$. We find an optimal decision rule within the class of Lindley type decision rules which shrink the usual one toward the mean of observations when the underlying distribution is that of a variance mixture of normals and when the norm $||{\theta}-{\bar{\theta}}1||$ is known, where ${\bar{\theta}}=(1/p)\sum_{i=1}^p{\theta}_i$ and 1 is the column vector of ones. When the norm is restricted to a known interval, typically no optimal Lindley type rule exists but we characterize a minimal complete class within the class of Lindley type decision rules. We also characterize the subclass of Lindley type decision rules that dominate the sample mean.
For the mean vector of a p-variate normal distribution ($p{\geq}3$), the optimal estimation within the class of James-Stein type decision rules under the quadratic loss are given when the underlying distribution is that of a variance mixture of normals and when the norm ${\parallel}\underline{{\theta}}{\parallel}$ in known. It also demonstrated that the optimal estimation within the class of Lindley type decision rules under the same loss when the underlying distribution is the previous type and the norm ${\parallel}{\theta}-\overline{\theta}\underline{1}{\parallel}$ with $\overline{\theta}=\frac{1}{p}\sum\limits_{i=1}^{n}{\theta}_i$ and $\underline{1}=(1,{\cdots},1)^{\prime}$ is known.

One of the most important problems on rule induction methods is that they cannot extract rules, which plausibly represent experts decision processes. On one hand, rule induction methods induce probabilistic rules, the description length of which is too short, compared with the experts rules. On the other hand, construction of Bayesian networks generates too lengthy rules. In this paper, the characteristics of experts rules are closely examined and a new approach to extract plausible rules is introduced, which consists of the following three procedures. First, the characterization of decision attributes (given classes) is extracted from databases and the classes are classified into several groups with respect to the characterization. Then, two kinds of sub-rules, characterization rules for each group and discrimination rules for each class in the group are induced. Finally, those two parts are integrated into one rule for each decision attribute. The proposed method was evaluated on a medical database, the experimental results of which show that induced rules correctly represent experts decision processes.
The selected questions for this study was their conversation in problem solving way of working together. To achieve its purpose researcher I chose more detail questions for this study as follows. $\circled1$ What is the difference of strategy according to its level \ulcorner $\circled2$ What is the mathematical ability difference in problem solving process concerning its level \ulcorner This is the result of the study $\circled1$ Difference in the strategy of each class of students. High class-high class students found rules with trial and error strategy, simplified them and restated them in uncertain framed problems, and write a formula with recalling their theorem and definition and solved them. High class-middle class students' knowledge and understanding of the problem, yet middle class students tended to rely on high class students' problem solving ability, using trial and error strategy. However, middle class-middle class students had difficulties in finding rules to solve the problem and relied upon guessing the answers through illogical way instead of using the strategy of writing a formula. $\circled2$ Mathematical ability difference in problem solving process of each class. There was not much difference between high class-high class and high class-middle class, but with middle class-middle class was very distinctive. High class-high class students were quick in understanding and they chose the right strategy to solve the problem High class-middle class students tried to solve the problem based upon the high class students' ideas and were better than middle class-middle class students in calculating ability to solve the problem. High class-high class students took the process of resection to make the answer, but high class-middle class students relied on high class students' guessing to reconsider other ways of problem-solving. Middle class-middle class students made variables, without knowing how to use them, and solved the problem illogically. Also the accuracy was relatively low and they had difficulties in understanding the definition.
Temporal data mining, the incorporation of temporal semantics to existing data mining techniques, refers to a set of techniques for discovering implicit and useful temporal knowledge from temporal data. Association rules and classification are applied to various applications which are the typical data mining problems. However, these approaches do not consider temporal attribute and have been pursued for discovering knowledge from static data although a large proportion of data contains temporal dimension. Also, data mining researches from temporal data treat problems for discovering knowledge from data stamped with time point and adding time constraint. Therefore, these do not consider temporal semantics and temporal relationships containing data. This paper suggests that temporal associative classification technique based on temporal class association rules. This temporal classification applies rules discovered by temporal class association rules which extends existing associative classification by containing temporal dimension for generating temporal classification rules. Therefore, this technique can discover more useful knowledge in compared with typical classification techniques.
