  • This study is concerned with analysis and reliability evaluation of LV circuit in Cab Cubicle system which controls train to keep safety in High Speed Train. LV circuit is operated with diagnosis system as safety system. In this paper, we suggest a design and an implementation method to analyze LV circuit or trace fault area in LV circuit. This simulator uses 28 package modules and examines input and output by equations. So, user can trace where is fault area. The implemented system can be expected to be useful for long term test and evaluation of circuit in high speed train systems. We expect reduction to diagnosis area or repair time by this simulator.

  • A Single-phase condensor motor is analyzed by FEM coupled with external circuit. The finite element analysis is based on the solution of combined equation both the magnetic field equation from the Maxwell's and the circuit equations of the stator and rotor circuit. The external circuit of the single-phase condensor motor to be analyzed is described using FLUX2D and linked to multiple FEM regions. The simulated results show that the condensor motor analysis with external circuit has good agreement with those of test results.

  • In this paper, the characteristics of a single phase induction motor which is considered the space harmonic flux by the double revolving field theory is analysed. As the rotor resistance for the fundamental flux is separated from the resistance for the rotor bar and end-ring, and the rotor leakage reactnace is separated from the skew leakage reactance and the other, so the circuit constants for the space harmonic flux is expressed by the circuit constants for the fundamentals. As the ratio of the circuit constants for the magnetizing reactance is used, the generalized equivalent circuit is made up. the characteristic equation which is able to analysis the subdivided characteristics by the above circuit is induced. The ratio of the circuit constants and the skew angle being changed, the variations of the torque-speed characteristics for the fundamentals and harmonics is examined by this equation.

Circuit Modeling of Interdigitated Capacitors Fabricated by High-K LTCC Sheets

  • The circuit modeling of interdigitated capacitors fabricated by high-k low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) sheets was investigated. The s-parameters of each test structure were measured from 50 MHz to 10 GHz, and the modeling was performed using these measured sparameters up to the first resonant frequency. Each test structure was divided into appropriate building blocks. The equivalent circuit of each building block was composed based on the partial element equivalent circuit (PEEC) method. Modeling was executed to optimize the parameters in the equivalent circuit of each building block. The validity of the extracted parameters was verified by the predictive modeling for the test structures with different geometry. After that, Monte Carlo analysis and sensitivity analysis were performed based on the extracted parameters. The modeling methodology can allow a device designer to improve the yield and to save time and cost for the design and manufacturing of devices.

  • This paper is for the transient analysis of instant short-circuit test equipment according to the test of tripping limits and characteristics under IEC 60947-2. The in-rush current is harmful to almost equipments and the exact testing is not made because of it. LGIS has a instant short-circuit test equipment, but it is not suitable for carrying out instant short-circuit test on ELB(Earth Leakage Circuit breaker) by reason of that. Now, I am going to show a solution for that problem. After applying this method, manufacturer is going to acquire the exact testing result according to the IEC standard. Moreover, Testing laboratory will be trusted by clients.

  • Connectorless power transmission and supply are the power transfer device revealed by resonant inverter or transformer using inductant device. Recently, on power supply have been going on frequently, so several power supply circuit forms are announced. But Compared with the circuit of previous paper, instead of the circuit composed of a simple sylinder Ferrit, I was manufacture in a sylinder that It was a double overlab to a sylinder and I was followed a double flux in inner flux path. Above all, for practicalization, supply circuit operation character analysis and development of controller should be preceded. According to this paper, power transmission and supply analyze characters and design control circuit like the analysis of general resonant inverter for power transmission. They compose the circuit to get sinusoid wave output voltage using pulse width modulation control mode. For Supply, output wave form through power track and power pick-up of magnetic inductance includes ripper component. So I intend to design the controller including filter and regulator, compare analyze theoretical result with real measurement value and then show you their practicality

  • Torque of an induction motor is generally calculated by simplified equivalent circuit. However, the torque has an error since it is calculated by simplified equivalent circuit. In this paper, stator and rotor currents, torque, efficiency, and power factor are derived from the equivalent circuit of an induction motor using mesh analysis method. Then, they are compared with those calculated from simplified equivalent circuit.

  • A soft switching converter with wide voltage range operation is investigated in this paper. A series resonant converter is implemented to achieve a high circuit efficiency with soft switching characteristics on power switches and rectifier diodes. To improve the weakness of the narrow voltage range in LLC converters, an alternating current (ac) power switch is used on the primary side to select a half-bridge or full-bridge resonant circuit to implement 4:1 voltage range operation. On the secondary-side, another ac power switch is adopted to select a full-wave rectifier or voltage-doubler rectifier to achiever an additional 2:1 output voltage range. Therefore, the proposed resonant converter has the capacity for 8:1 (320V~40V) wide output voltage operation. A single-stage hybrid resonant converter is employed in the study circuit instead of a two-stage dc converter to achiever wide voltage range operation. As a result, the study converter has better converter efficiency. The theoretical analysis and circuit characteristics are verified by experiments with a prototype circuit.

  • This paper describes the CIREX(CIRcuit EXtractor), an automated CMOS circuit extraction program which provides SPICE2 input file by computing circuit connectivity and transistor dimensions from the CIF file. The CIREX also computes parasitic capacitance and resistance which makes it a valuable tool for timing analysis and detailed circuit simulation. A lattice model is used to calculate the interconnection resistances and substrate capacitances which can be replaced, as an option, by a node model for the worst case timing analysis of the circuit.
