The boundary of a typical period-2 component in the degree-3 bifurcation set is formulated by a parametrization of its image which is the unit circle under the multiplier map, Some properties on the geometry of the boundary are investigated including the root point, the cusp, the component center and the length as well as the area bounded by the boundary curve. An algorithm drawing the boundary curve with Mathematica codes is proposed and its implementation exhibits a good agreement with the analysis presented here.

Let M be a compact almost $coK{\ddot{a}}hler$ 5-manifold with $K{\ddot{a}}hlerian$ leaves. In this paper, we prove that M is locally symmetric if and only if it is locally isometric to a Riemannian product of a unit circle $S^1$ and a locally symmetric compact $K{\ddot{a}}hler$ 4-manifold.

Recently, it is gradually raised necessity that interface is measured accurately and managed in industrial circle and medical world. An Ultrasonic wave transmitted from a focused beam tranducer is being expected as a powerful tool for NDE of the delamination. The Ultrasonic NDE of the delamination is based on the form of the wave reflected from the interface. In this study results, automatically repeated discrimination analysis method can be devided in the category of all kinds of defects on semiconductor package, and also can be possible to have a sampling of partial delamination.

During one revolution of a gear, the intensity of the gear-meshing noise or vibration will vary, depending upon the run-out in the pitch diameter of the gear. Here noise can be produced bu excentricity of the shaft with respect to the base circle and by pitch errors. According to the noise generated is clearly dependent on the force and the amount of energy expended in elastically straining the machine member. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the analysis of the noise and technical reduction of gear noise for machine tool.

An algorithm for block-decomposition of a linear, time-invariant, discrete large-scale systems is presented, based upon the matrix sign function on Z-plane. The block-decomposition is performed by defining a reference circle, a circular stripe and projection operators. Simulation study shows that the presented algorithm is very useful for multivariable control system's analysis and design.

Small group activity in Korea was introduced from the United States as QC circle, ZD group movements and the like, but it has developed into a Korean style from so-called factory saemaul panel activities contributing much to the management of enterprises. Based on human motivation theory, the principles to activate small group activity is suggested on which a new diagnosis of small group activity is proposed here. It is consisted of checklist and radarchart. The factor to activate small group activity have been obtained in terms of multivariate analysis for data from the new diagnosis.

This paper treats the conditions for the existence of rotating wave solutions of a system modelling the behavior of students in graduate programs at neighbouring universities near each other which is a modified form of the model proposed by Scheurle and Seydel. We assume that both types of individuals are continuously distributed throughout a bounded two-dimension spatial domain of two types (circle and annulus), across whose boundaries there is no migration, and which simultaneously undergo simple (Fickian) diffusion. We will show that at a critical value of a system-parameter bifurcation takes place: a rotating wave solution arises.

In this paper, in order to design Linear Pulse Motor(LPM) effectively, the flux density and the thrust force of LPM have been calculated in the air gap by using Finite Element Method(FEM). The paper proposes the misuse types of statistical quality tools according to the kind of data and the number of population in DMAIC process of six sigma. The result presented in this paper can be extended to the QC story 15 steps of QC circle. Sleeper, the ballast, and ballast mat in the high-speed railroad line are modelled using a two-dimensional discrete element method to generate circle and line elements. Stress transfer mechanism from the sleeper to the subgrade via the ballast is analyzed. The behavior of ballast bed of the high-speed railroad line is also accessed with the model.
