노년기 가구형태의 변화와 선택 이유 (The Changes of Living Arrangement in Elderly and Reasons for Their Choice)

  • This study aims to analyze the trend of changes in the elderly living arrangement over the past 20 years and the reasons why the elderly choose these changes. The subjects of the survey were households aged 65 years or older in Korea. Data from the survey of Ministry of Health and Welfare conducted in 2004, 2014, 2020 were used for the analysis. The result of analysis was as follows; First, since 2000, the number of elderly households living with their children has been rapidly decreasing, while the number of elderly couple households and single elderly households is gradually increasing. Second, elderly living alone appeared more in rural areas, women, older people, and elderly with low education. They are in a vulnerable position that needs help. Therefore, welfare policies for the elderly should be focused on elderly single households. Finally the reason for choosing elderly single household in 2020 was that the voluntary choice by the individual accounted for a much higher rate than the unintentional choice by the children. In addition, the life satisfaction of the elderly who arbitrarily selected the living arrangement was higher than that of the elderly who deliberately chose the living arrangement.

소셜 미디어 감성평가를 활용한 항공사 고객만족도 분석 - 대형항공사와 저비용항공사 비교연구 (Airline Customer Satisfaction Analysis using Social Media Sentiment Evaluation: Full Service Carriers vs. Low Cost Carriers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 소셜 미디어 데이터에 대한 감성평가를 활용하여 대형항공사와 저비용항공사 이용 고객의 만족도를 정량적으로 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2008년에서 2016년까지 대형항공사와 저비용항공사가 언급된 총 77,591개의 트윗을 취합하고 항공사 선택 속성별로 분류하였으며, 고객만족도 분석을 위해 3명의 평가자가 감성 평가를 시행하도록 하였다. 분석결과, 최근 7년 간 고객 만족도는 저비용항공사가 대형항공사보다 통계적으로 유의하게(p<0.001) 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 대형, 저비용항공사 모두 고객만족도가 지속적으로 하락하고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 또한, 항공사 선택 속성 중 예약과 항공기 운항과 관련된 고객만족도가 낮은 것으로 나타났으며, 대형항공사의 경우, 예약과 기내서비스, 마케팅 측면에서 만족도 저하가 최근 심화되고 있는 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구의 결과는 대형항공사와 저비용항공사의 전반적인 고객만족도 향상을 위한 정량적 데이터로 활용 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

보건진료 전담공무원의 전문직 삶의 질 관련요인 (Factors related to Professional Quality of Life among Community Health Practitioners in Korea)

  • Purpose: The aims of this study were to examine the work, client, and personal environments of community health practitioners, including the level of their professional quality of life (ProQOL), and identify the factors affecting their ProQOL. Methods: Data were collected using a web-survey questionnaire, which was completed by a sample of 308 community health practitioners currently working in Korea. The questionnaire included items on ProQOL; three dimensions labeled compassion satisfaction, burn out, and secondary traumatic stress; job stress; job satisfaction; sense of community; and general characteristics. Results: The mean scores for the three dimensions were $39.2{\pm}6.44$ (compassion satisfaction), $31.9{\pm}3.59$ (burn out), and $26.4{\pm}5.05$ (secondary traumatic stress). A multiple linear regression revealed that compassion satisfaction varied significantly according to the satisfaction with job choice, sense of community, job stress, and job satisfaction. The factors affecting burn out were sense of community and work load, while the factors affecting secondary traumatic stress were education, job stress, and job satisfaction. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that comprehensive intervention focusing on improving the sense of community and job satisfaction and reducing job stress is essential to promote community health practitioners' ProQOL.

치위생과 학생들의 임상실습내용에 따른 실습기관별 만족도 (Satisfaction towards clinical training institution according to clinical practice contents in the dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the satisfaction towards clinical training institution according to clinical practice contents in the dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 382 dental hygiene students of five colleges in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongsangnam-do from August 20 to September 30, 2013. The data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 20.0 program for t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation analysis. The questionnaire consisted of the general characteristics of the subjects and the satisfaction towards the clinical training institution. The satisfaction was composed of 44 questions including the general satisfaction, practice contents, practice guide, training time of practice, training environment, practice evaluation, and personal relationship by Likert 5 point scale. Results: The students were most satisfied with the practice contents of the dental university hospitals. The dental hospital and dental clinics were the most satisfied choice in the personal relationships. Public health center dental clinics bestowed the students with the most satisfied practice guidance, time, environment, and evaluation. Practice contents and practice time were the most influential factors to dental hygiene department satisfaction to the students. Conclusions: In order to enhance the clinical practice satisfaction, it is necessary to have the continuous relationship with the clinical training institution. The practice satisfaction is influenced by the contents and environment of the clinical training institution.

1인실과 다인실 입원 병상 이용에 관한 병상 선택 요인과 환자 만족도 분석 (Use of Single Bedrooms versus Multiple Bedrooms: Selection Factors and Comparison of Patient Satisfaction)

  • Background: It is widely acknowledged that single bedrooms have many potential advantages compared to multiple bedrooms. However, Korea has a reimbursement system that patients have to pay the additional fee if they will use single bedroom or pay-bed (1-3 bedroom). There is little research on patients' bed selection and relationship between patient satisfaction and bed type in the Korean setting. Methods: Using the 2017 Korea Health Panel (KHP) Survey data, we modified bed type by two dichotomous variables: single bedroom vs. multiple bedroom (2+ bedrooms) and pay-bed (1-3 bedroom) vs. reimbursed bed (4+ bedroom). Multivariate logistic regression is performed to determine the factors affecting the patient's choice of room types. Multivariate regression analysis was conducted to examine how hospital room types are affecting patient satisfaction. Results: Single room and pay-bed (1-3 bedroom) use was influenced by patient age (19- years old), male, a person at work, hospitalizing in a clinic, and birth. After controlling variables of the behavioral model of medical utilization, the association between patient satisfaction and use of single bedroom & pay-bed (1-3 bedroom). Cause of hospitalization, major treatment, and recognition of unnecessary care are statistically significant variables on patient satisfaction. Conclusion: Although the single room is about the standard for newly built hospitals in western countries, it remains unclear that single room or pay-bed (1-3 bedroom) has positive effects on patient's outcomes and satisfaction. In this empirical study, the difference in patient satisfaction by bedroom type was not noticeable. In terms of bed management by hospital staff, securing patient credibility in hospital care is an important task. Patients' perception of whether medical staffs have encouraged unnecessary treatment or tests has a significant impact on patient's satisfaction.

치과위생사 이미지, 전공만족도 및 중도탈락의도의 구조적 관계 (Structural relationship of dental hygienist image, major satisfaction, and dropout intention)

  • Objectives: This study investigates dropout intention and the structural relationship between the dental hygienist role and satisfaction with the study major perceived by dental hygiene students. Methods: A survey was conducted on 269 dental hygiene students. The survey items covered general characteristics, department choice motivation, the desirability of dental hygienist career, practice clinical experience, perception of dental hygienist role, satisfaction with study major, and dropout intention. Independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U test, multiple linear regression analysis, and structural equation modeling were used for statistical analysis. Results: The dropout intention level of dental hygiene students was 2.4 out of 5.0. Satisfaction with study major partially mediates perception of dental hygienist role and dropout intention (direct effect=0.182, p=0.024, indirect effect=-0.437, p=0.010). Perception of dental hygienist role (β=-0.255, p=0.010) and satisfaction with study major (β=-0.661, p=0.010) showed a negative relationship with dropout intention. The factor most affecting dropout intention was satisfaction with study major. Dropout intention was high when selecting a major based on external motivations (β=-0.448, p<0.001). Conclusions: Perception of dental hygienist role and satisfaction with study major directly or indirectly affect dropout intention. Therefore, improving satisfaction with study major and improving the perception of dental hygienists will help reduce dropout intention.

해운기업의 핵심역량이 해사대 학생들의 승선기업 선택에 미치는 영향 분석 (An Analysis of the Impact of Shipping Companies' Core Competencies on Boarding Company Selection by Students at Maritime Universities)

  • 본 연구는 해운기업의 핵심역량이 해당 기업에서 승선실습을 마친 실습생들의 만족도와 이것이 졸업 후 승선 기업선택 및 장기승선에 미치는 영향을 연구하는데 있다. 이를 위해 선행연구 등을 바탕으로 설문 문항을 설정하여 위탁실습을 마친 실습생 211명을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하고 가설을 설정하여 검증한 결과, 다음과 같은 연구 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 기업의 핵심역량에 해당하는 가치성과 지속성은 승선 실습의 만족도에 모두 유의한 영향을 미치며, 이들에 대한 영향력은 각각 32.4 %와 32.7 %로 나타났다. 둘째, 승선실습 만족도는 졸업 이후 승선기업 선택에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 이들에 대한 영향력은 49.7 %로 나타났다. 셋째, 승선실습의 만족도와 장기 승선간에는 4.5 % 수준의 낮은 영향력이 형성되고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 넷째, 승선기업 선택과 장기 승선간에는 74 %의 높은 영향력이 형성중인 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 토대로 해운기업은 선박관리 능력 향상을 위해 핵심역량을 증대시키고, 우수한 해기인력을 수급받기 위한 실습생 만족도 향상 노력이 필요하다는 것을 확인하였다.

사이버대학 미용 교육 만족도에 미치는 인식 요인 분석 (Analysis of Perception Factors Affecting Students' Satisfaction with the Cosmetology Education of a Cyber University)

  • 본 연구는 사이버대학 미용 교육 경험자 120명을 대상으로 설문조사를 통하여 미용 교육만족도에 영향을 미치는 미용 교육 인식 하위요인을 도출 및 진로선택에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 미용 교육 인식 요인으로 교육환경, 운영시스템, 수업내용, 수업관리 4개 예측 변인과 교육만족도 1개 요인을 도출하여 분석 도구로 이용하였다. 헤어 전공은 자격증 시험으로, 피부 전공은 이론 및 실기를 교육목적으로 하였고 경력별 관심 강좌에서 경력이 적을수록 헤어 강좌에, 많을수록 피부 강좌에 관심이 더 많았다(p<0.01). 교육 인식 4개 요인과 교육만족도 사이에 상관관계가 있었고(p<0.01) 그 중 수업 내용과 수업 관리가 교육 만족도에 유의한 정(+)의 결과가 나타나 수업에 대한 인식이 높을수록 미용 교육에 더 만족하는 것으로 나타났다(p<0.001). 산업협력활동, 진로 분석, 미용 수업, 학교가 진로 선택에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사이버 미용교육에서 수업 중요성, 수업 어려움, 소통 어려움 등이 본 연구에서 확인되었고 향후 경력별, 단계별 교육 과정 개발, 소통 방안이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

치기공과학생의 임상실습만족도에 대한 조사 연구 -대구지역을 중심으로- (A Study on Satisfaction of Clinical Practice of Dental Technology Students - Focused on Daegu region -)

  • This study is analyzed to conduct better on-site practices with recognizing importance of the clinical practice of Dept. of dental technology and use it as a basic material in the clinical practice. Target people who are students studying dental technology in D college in Daegu were questioned by survey. Study results below 1. Average score of the survey about satisfaction of the operating method of clinical practice shows 3.26. In detail elements, 'credit assignment(10 credits)' is 3.65 as the highest score, 'execution period(vacation)' is 3.50, 'choice of the clinical practice organization' is 3.25, 'measures after practice' is 2.98 and 'pre-education' is 2.98 as the lowest score. 2. Through the real clinical practice, 'experience of new equipments and technology' is 3.64 as the highest score, 'choice of lecturer' is 3.61, 'guidance way' is 3.49, 'contents properness' is 3.44, 'environment of practice organization' is 3.36, 'evaluation way' is 3.35 and 'practical use of the evaluation material' is 3.18 as the lowest score. 3. The average score of survey about satisfaction after clinical practice of the participated students is 3.46 that is higher than both 'satisfaction about operating method(3.26)' about clinical practice of college and 'satisfaction about organization(3.44)' about environment of dental craft organizations and labs, guidance way of lecturer and evaluation. 4. In the improvement of distribution of the clinical practice evaluation, in the 'practice organization: college' viewpoint, '7:3' is 35.77% as the highest response, '6:4' is 25.20%, '8:2' is 22.76% and '4:6' is 16.26 in regular sequence. 5. In site evaluation reflection of clinical practice, 50% reflection is 32.93% as the highest percentage, 60% reflection is 26.83%, 20% reflection is 20.73% and 80% reflection is 6.10% in regular sequence. In attendance score, it shows percentage of reflecting 50% and 40% is 26.98%, students wanting to reflect 30% is 25.40%, reflecting 10% is 20.63% and no reflecting is 0%. In result of the analyzed data, clinical practice has to be studied more in considering that clinical practice is important point in education of Dept. of Dental Technology and also problems in college and on-site practice need improvements.

재미 동 남부 아시아계 유학생의 의류구매 행동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Consumer Behavior of the Oriental Students Regarding Clothing purchase at Texas State of The United States)

  • The Purpose of the study is to identify some factors affecting the consumer behavior of the Oriental students in the United States and provide some basic information for desirable consumer skills. The ninety subjects ere collected form the Oriental groups who were studying in Denton, Texas, U.S.A. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, X2-test. The results are as follows: 1) There are significant similarities in the consumer behavior of the Oriental students regarding the information source, the preferred type of clothing, the factors affecting the choice of retail store, and the satisfaction after the clothing purchase. 2) There are some differences in the consumer behavior among three groups regarding expenditures of the purchase of clothing and the preferred choice of retail store. This study concludes that the Oriental students tend to: 1) adjust their life style to new situation ; 2) avoid their conflicts dur to the language barrier; 3) have a limited income to stay in the USA; and 4) have their own social acceptability based on their nationality.
